Fantastic experience: A great place to take your kiddos. Dr.Wilde is very detailed, patient, and very awesome with the kiddos. Everyone there is very helpful and kind. The atmosphere is kid-friendly in the lobby and dental office to put some ease and fun atmosphere for the kids. I highly recommend this place for all parents and new parents to bring their kids here ❤️

Fantastic experience: My son has been attending since about 7 years old. Today he enters that office, no anxiety, looks for his"brother" Mr Ben, and chats with whoever gets to do precheck and x rays. The thing about this is my boy is autistic and had freaked out his first 2 visits. As hard as it was Dr Wilde and his team have been patient and tried different approaches to get to be comfortable and provide the care he needed. We went from " I hope a dinosaur eats you, You should be fired" to " Check out what I did this weekend" and just conversing about movies and events. The relationship made with my boy was far more than just a lets get this done and over with mentality. My son trusts this office that he wont get hurt and that they are all trying to help him as best as they can. As someone in the background its amazing to see the compassion and drive to provide highest care possible.

Fantastic experience: I chose Dentistry for Kids after a lot of mom's speaking highly of Dr. Chen+Dr. Wilde locally. (This includes moms having children on the spectrum/with sensory issues. That's great as I know finding a good dentist where a kid is comfortable/more at ease can be a challenge regardless+ I know adults to this day that are not fond going to dentists because of childhood experience. I can confidently say I don't see this as an issue happening if you choose here). A lot of mom's praise the office for making their kids feel comfortable, and even after just 1 appointment, I can tell the staff is phenomenal at interacting with kiddos of all ages. My son had his first appointment (hes 1 year old), and we saw Dr. Chen. The environment was very welcoming. I can say all the staff from the front desk receptionists to the hygeinst + Dr. Chen were stellar- professional, personable and friendly. Having a 1 year old+being a first time mom, I didnt know how he do with his first appointment. He did great. The hygienist was great with him as a baby from taking what camera photos we could and brushing his 8 teeth. (With being 1, he cried a little bit but was quickly all smiles again towards the staff). The hygeinst and Dr. Chen were both great with education+ answered any questions I had as a parent without feeling rushed/made to feel stupid. I loved how even at 1 he was able to get a toy (he chose a blue rubber duckyl to add to his rubber toy collection❤️. I am looking forward to his next visit in 6 months! I already had a mom ask where I went after today and she called to make an appointment too. Although this was only my first appointment, I can tell they aren't pushy with xrays or fluoride treatments and respect if parents do decline. If they took adults, I would totally switch and go there! I highly recommend choosing Dentistry for Kids for your children! NOTE: I have a background in healthcare so I understand why offices do this for sanitary/health protocals now, but for other first time moms who may not have visited a pediatric dentist yet, post covid there have not been any magazines, toys, etc in dental waiting rooms(that Ive noticed) in general. With that being said, it's nor necessary as the appointments are on time/wait so minimal.. Plus staff makes the experience great!❤️

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old had to have a tooth extraction and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Ben was the dental assistant and he made sure we were comfortable and helped us understand the process. Ben also made plenty of small talk which helped distract me from my own nerves for my daughter. Dr. Wilde calmly explained to me how it was going to go down and that it would be less than 5 seconds and boy was he right! It was the fastest, easiest procedure. The worst part was getting my 3 year old to keep gauze in her mouth. I love the way this office talks to you, treats you, and explains everything in a way that makes you as a parent and the kids feel so comfortable. I’ve never seen anything like it! I wish I could be a patient myself. Thank you!!!!

I am so impressed in how everyone works with the kids to reduce fear and anxiousness and create a positive and happy environment. Fantastic experience: My daughter had a new patient appt with Dr Grace today. Dr Grace and Savannah were very nice. They gave clear instructions and reasoning behind good dental care so my daughter understood the importance. They had good availability for follow up. The office is also very nice and clean. I’m very pleased with the appt and glad we found a good dentist!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dentistry for Kids! The office staff is so kind, and the hygienists are all so great with kids. They’re gentle and not too pushy with X-rays, and work so hard at making sure the dentist office is a positive experience for the kids each time they come in. The toys and stickers at the end are a big draw! I’ve learned a ton from them (and I thought I was pretty smart about cavities). Dr. Wilde is great as well- he is really good about not just treating kids in the moment, but also looking ahead and letting me know what may be expected 6 months to a year out. They are always on time to take us in, and very efficient and can often see both of my kids simultaneously. Always a pleasant experience to go there.

Fantastic experience: My son has been coming here since he was 4 (He is now 11). The staff is clearly well-trained and experienced, and Dr. Whipple is great. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! Update: Still bringing my son here, now 14, and I see the same familiar faces year after year. Everyone in the office that I have ever interacted with has been nothing but kind and helpful. The recommended treatments for my son have always been backed up by sound reasoning, and his teeth are looking great thanks to the preventative care. Update #2: My son is now 17 (!!!) and still comes here. He has been seeing Dr. Wilde for the last few years, who is excellent. I can’t thank the team here enough for their excellent care over the years.

Fantastic experience: My child had a history of difficult dental visits and required extra time and patience. I first learned about Dr. Whipple because she was an on-call for another pediatric dentist group where I felt uncomfortable with the whole experience. Then my child had complications requiring an after hours call. Dr. Whipple responded on behalf of the dentist team we had originally gone to and immediately I could tell the difference. I decided to switch future dental care to Dentistry for Kids. This team was fully prepared to do whatever it took to have him at ease. The facility was clean and comfortable, the staff was all amazing. I am so grateful for how they treated my child and I have already told every parent I know in Bishop, CA. They are worth the 4 hour (each way) trip!

Fantastic experience: I grew up not wanting to go to a dentists office, but both of my boys don’t mind here and are always happy to get some stickers or a little toy on the way out. Dr. Wilde is great, always super laid-back and positive.

Fantastic experience: I called the office because my daughter had a tooth that was hurting pretty bad. The front staff was able to get me us in to see Dr. Whiple the very next day, which I was so grateful for. It turned out that she had a pretty deep cavity in one of her permanent molars. Their assistant Ben was great with my daughter and explained everything they were going to do, what all the instruments were for and how it all was going to help make her tooth feel better. The front staff was very fast with getting the estimate together for me and the cost was very doable. Dr. Whiple was amazing and is very sweet. She made sure to include me on how things were looking while she was filling the cavity and made my daughter feel at ease with constant reassurance that she was doing a great job for her. We have had nothing but great experiences at Dentistry for Kids and I would recommend them to anyone who hopes to have their children enjoy their dental visits.

Fantastic experience: My family just recently switched to Dentistry for Kids (South Reno) and my children had their first appointment today. The front desk team was very welcoming and got us checked in quickly. We were then led on a tour of the whole office, showing where and what everything was. Both my kids were able to have their teeth cleaned at the same time. They both needed X-rays and the sweet dental assistants explained every step to them, and told them exactly what they were doing. They praised my children for doing a great job and made them feel really special. I was able to see the X-rays right away and went over them in detail with the dental assistants for each. The dentist, Dr. Wilde was so kind and gentle with each of them. He explained to my children about eating healthy snacks and the importance of brushing and flossing. I just loved how included I was in every step of their appointment. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I am so happy I switched to Dentistry for Kids, I couldn't be happier after our first visit!

My oldest has many dental issues from a young age. However, they came up with a plan that not only fixed the serious issues, but made it so he always leaves with positive feelings. Fantastic experience: Taking children to the dentist can be stressful and worry-some. But at Dentistry for Kids it’s the totally opposite. As a parent, I’m so impressed by the doctors and staff. My kids love going to this dentistry office because they are warm hearted, fun, smiling, and joyful to be around. Dr. Wilkerson and his staff always educates me and my children on what is going on with each visit. They always help my kids feel comfortable and relax as they get X-ray and cleanings. They have also helped us in developing a good oral healthy habits. I wish I could go here for my cleaning!

Fantastic experience: Dentistry for Kids has been incredible for my four kids! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like family. The front office staff know your face and always welcome you with a smile. Then, the hygienists are so calm and patient with nervous kids. Mine have been coming as young as 18 months and they are so gentle. We have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Wilde and Dr. Whipple. They have never tried to sell procedures or products that weren’t necessary. If you need a pediatric dentist that is worth staying with until your kids grow out of the dental chair, this is the office to choose.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old son had a 2 phase treatment on his teeth. Both times he was greeted and welcomed by Ben (the assistant). Ben made my son comfortable and he was able to go back into the treatment room with out us. Dr. Wilde was great and efficient, never going over an extended amount of time that would make my son uncomfortable. The waiting room is clean and inviting. In the event more treatment is needed, I will definitely go back to Kids Dentistry of Reno!

Fantastic experience: Our 2 kids love the staff. This office has not faltered. The kids are excited to go every time. Dr Whipple notified us of another issue in our youngest that we had taken care of right away. This changed their quality of life greatly! It is quite a bit out of our way, buuut they go out of their way so we don't mind.

Fantastic experience: Nervous to get a cap put on, Little One and I hatched a solution: Tell the dentist I couldn’t find him, but I did find this wolf-boy and brought him instead. The entire staff played along, calling “Wolfie” when coming to get him from the waiting room. Dr Whipple entered the exam room and ever so sweetly said, “Wolfie! It’s so good to see you! My, what big teeth you have!” I can’t imagine taking Little One anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a wiggly tooth. She was very scared. the tooth was hurting her gums. I called; They made an appointment for us right away, and took care of it. They are very good with kids. My daughter left there with a tooth fairy box ready for tonight, and a big smile. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Asked my daughter what she wanted to say and she said “FIVE STAR RATING!” This was her first visit, they explained everything were so kind and patient. Made sure to stop and ask if we had questions and were so thorough! I don’t have a single critique. They were quick, effective, and so kind. Fantastic experience: We took our daughter here for her first ever dentist experience and it was probably the best customer service EVER. The whole staff was so sweet to all of us, made our daughter feel extremely comfortable and really explained everything they were doing. 10/10 recommend for all the kiddos

Fantastic experience: I have never had a doctor or medical office as amazing as Dr. Whipple, Dr. Wilde and all the staff at Dentistry For Kids. They went above and beyond when my 3 year old fell and required an emergency procedure. The front office got us in right away, even though we weren't patients. Dr. Whipple and her staff stayed after closing and called the following morning to check in. When I called with a concern Dr. Whipple returned my call within 15 minutes. They treated us with such care. Dr. Wilde is absolutely amazing as well. We will never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: We love Dentistry for Kids. We moved to Reno 5 years ago and met Dr Whipple and her team through a recommendation. My kids LOVE going to the dentist, and are so disappointed appointments aren’t more frequent. My oldest is quite an anxious one, and we dealt with some initial anxiety about going to the dentist when we moved here at age 3. She was laughing and smiling after her first exam and we have never looked back. I would recommend Dentisty for Kids to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Dr. Whipple!!! We have been seeing her for 5 years and she helped our child come over her fear of the dentist so much!! Dr. Whipple and her support staff have been so patient and accommodating!! We recommend her 100%, especially for the anxious child.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! They make it fun since the kids have been born! Our 18 year old still wants to go! Our 3 have been going since 2! So professional, clean, but most of all so loving on each child! They encourage, support, and most of all teach the kids about how to maintain great dental hygiene with enthusiasm .

We were nervous having a new dentist but he has proven to be just what we wanted and needed! I would recommend this office!
