Little Falls Family Dental: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I just love this dentist!! Everyone is just fantastic! They don’t judge you or do anything bad. I have finally found a place that I’m so comfortable with and not scared to go to as I’m in my 40’s. I just have such a pleasant visit every single time!! Thank you! Lauren Skupienski
Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at Little Falls Family Dental! The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Everyone makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, and the care is always excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental office!
Negative experience: Extremely unorganized. More than once I’ve made appointments for my kids, got here and they scheduled us with the wrong dentist he wasn’t available. So, wasted a trip and had to reschedule and pull my kids out of school for a second time. I can overlook this happening once, but not twice. The right hand doesn’t seem to talk to the left here which causes inconveniences for the patients. I didn’t really don’t think that anyone actually reads a chart before coming into the room. Actively looking for a new dentist.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Choy really listened to my son and his need, she made his fillings fast and easy. We appreciated her kindness and her ability to make him feel brave.
Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly and efficient . I enjoy my visit experience each time I’m scheduled !!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Negative experience: Had a appt with the dental surgeon this Saturday to get my wisdom teeth pulled Iv been in pain for weeks. Today is Thursday and they just called me to cancel and told me their next appt was May 20th. Mind you I flew in my dad from Colombia so that he could help with the cooking for the few days and be my designated driver the day off. Bought my dad the flight and had to go through so much bc of the spirit shutdown so obviously that was a whole thing just trying to get my dad a new flight the week of. And then now this it’s really not fair to cancel on patients last minute like this. I know they don’t care and stuff happens. But honestly I’m very upset and still in pain. And now flew in my dad for no reason
Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my twins who have apraxia for years now. This team has been so kind and patient with them. They do a great job in cleaning their teeth and making recommendations for me.
Fantastic experience: Dr Patel is very personable and a kind provider, which is rare to find in dentists! Having had such bad past experiences caused me to have anxiety about the visit. I was so pleasantly surprised with the care she provided, that it eased my worries. She also seems to be sharp and on top of her game. Some of the office staff was quite kind, but not all. Which is fine, nowhere can everyone be nice. Wait time (lack of it), is a huge plus and speaks to the organization of the management.
Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff they are polite and always smile when greeting people. Clean place just wish it has more seat for waiting.
Fantastic experience: Always takes care of my family when we’re there and so friendly! Son received braces and they made him very comfortable!
Fantastic experience: Very nice and friendly staff! Sometimes we have to wait little longer to be seen but that’s only because they are busy because they are good! I will definitely recommend this place!
Fantastic experience: They are absolutely amazing! I love going here
Fantastic experience: This office staff is very friendly and Dr too. Marquita at the front desk is very efficient and kind any time I call and need help she always helps me.
Fantastic experience: My family has been coming here for years. They really have a good experience each time. Most of the staff are friendly, we definitely have our favorites tho! Dr. G is caring and patient with my daughter who has dental anxiety. Dr Choi is amazing for my pediatric son. 2 Front receptionist are always accommodating and they go above and beyond for my little family. The dental assistants are friendly and we are always treated with respect. Thank you Little falls family dental ❤️
Fantastic experience: A+...Not 1 complaint. I was totally impressed by the staff. Their professionalism is one of the reasons why I return from start to finish my appointment went like clock work. Social Distancing and temp checks adhered I felt very safe and comfortable.
Thank you so much Teresa! We're glad that you had an exceptional and comfortable experience with our practice. Reviews such as this serves as a reminder of why we love what we do! Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Very good service ! This wonderful ladies is really care and helpful. God bless them !
Fantastic experience: My specialist did a great job. I requested her for next time too because I like her she’s done this work for me before..
Fantastic experience: MY NAME IS LORELLA SQUILLARO I AM UNDER MY SON'S EMAIL ADDRESS THE DENTIST AND STAFF ARE VERY KIND ALWAYS
Fantastic experience: Plenty of parking and a spacious waiting room. Check-in was quick and efficient. The office and staff are very kid-friendly, which made the visit much easier. There is a water fountain available in the waiting room, which is a nice touch. The staff was courteous and attentive, the doctor was kind and professional, and check-out was just as smooth. Recommendation: Consider asking patients to remove their glasses during the procedure to prevent them from getting wet, and providing a tissue during the procedure so patients can stay dry and comfortable.
Negative experience: Painful Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs Everything seemed fine until I had an appointment scheduled for 12/19 to repair a filling. Because I was already in pain, I asked to move the appointment earlier, and they gave me a new date a week before. I was relieved—finally some hope of getting treated. But when I showed up for that appointment, in pain and after preparing myself medically (I recently had heart surgery and had to take four antibiotics just to be safe), I was told my appointment had been canceled because the dentist “called out.” They claimed they had called all patients to notify us. That was a lie. I had no missed calls, no voicemail, nothing. When I explained this to the front desk staff, they were rude, dismissive, and downright nasty. It was like talking to a wall. They ignored the fact that I was in pain, ignored the risk to my health, and treated me as if my situation didn’t matter. Their attitude was shocking—almost as if they couldn’t be bothered because it was a Friday. I even tried to reach a supervisor, but of course, that was impossible. The lack of accountability and compassion was appalling. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially someone dealing with pain and serious health concerns. Do yourself a favor: find another place. This office does not care about its patients, and their customer service is beyond terrible.
Fantastic experience: Been going to Dr. G and her team for over 5 years. Have gotten my cleanings and Invisalign with them and would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Little Falls Family Dental is the place to go. The staff and doctors here are always keen to help and are super nice. I'd recommend going in the morning, as it gets crowded in the afternoon, and that just makes everyone cranky, you know. Dr. Gurung was very careful throughout all of my appointments and also very understanding. She would say sorry every time she accidentally hurt me. The lady at the front desk who checked me out was also very nice and did everything she could to help me. At one point, I didn't have insurance, and she pointed me in the right direction, really helping me. Kudos to Little Falls Family Dental! I also have no cavities now, yay!
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with the lady that does the scheduling. I don’t know her name but is the one in charge of scheduling after your consultation with the dentist. She’s very nasty never smiles always has an attitude and isn’t helpful at all. I don’t know how she can treat people with such rudeness. I also work with customer service and not always. Do I have a good day but I never take it out on the people and every time I called this place she always has the same nasty attitude she always Treats people as if they don’t matter I wanted to come in for a Retreatment on three root canals that were done at this very same place. She wanted to refer me to a place 30 minutes away without traffic and her excuse was you have to do multiple retreats? Our specialist is not equipped with that kind of equipment he only does one at a time so when I contacted the place that she referred me to she told me the Insurance only does one treatment at a time so I called Back and to explain to this lady and she completely blew me off Made a big excuse that the specialist broke his tool and they don’t Do any retreats anymore Little does she know that my wife did a retreat the day before from the specialist? Please make it make sense I think this lady needs a Crash course On how to treat customers, especially if they’ve been coming here For a long time and to be honest with you the Reason why I come here is because it’s Close to my House, it’s convenient for me, but I’m tired of coming to this place I won’t Come back ever again. I don’t like to leave bad reviews. I’m not that person. I don’t like to hurt businesses, but this lady who works for this dentist office is sabotaging Their reputation. I think the owner or whoever is in charge of this operation needs to be well aware and take care of this issue ASAP because you just lost another customer
Fantastic experience: Ive been taking my son here for the past 7 years he is now 10 everyone is so friendly and helpful. The Dr has so much patience with these little ones. I have never had a bad experience here.
Fantastic experience: Love all the people there.Great professionals. Starts at the front desk continues with the dentists and hygienist and assistants, to the great women checking you out and setting up your next visit. Dr. G is the best!
Fantastic experience: Ive been going here a long time and I would never want to go elsewhere...The Dentists and the staff are all friendly and put u at ease.. Also Dr Gurung does amazing work, and goes above and beyond to help me feel better about my smile...Definitely a judgement free zone!
Fantastic experience: Took me in right on my scheduled time. Everyone was friendly. Dentist was pleasant and expressive.
Fantastic experience: The wait was long, but it was worth it. When Samantha came out of her orthodontist appointment she was raving about the young man who patiently repaired one of the tooth brackets. He took his time, made sure it was done correctly, figured out why it happened again and corrected the application of the bracket. He did not rush the appointment. What a pleasant appointment. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Doctor G. and the staff at Little Falls Family Dental are amazing!!! The minute you enter the spacious waiting area with stuff for young & old to enjoy while waiting their turn. Great beside manners from the Hygienist all the way up to of course Dr. G. she’s amazing dentist!! Usually in and out in minutes!! Highly and Definitely will recommend!!
Negative experience: Have been coming here for years. Dentists and staff are different each time. They are moved from facility to facility each day. It is abusive to staff and it shows in the poor treatment of patients. Many hygienists and dentists and staff try their best but it is clearly a sick situation for them and you never see the good ones a second time A bad situation for the dentists, hygienists and staff all the time and sometimes very very very bad for patients, myself included Distressing situation
Negative experience: Poorly managed facility. My first visit had to wait for a long time. And for next appointment for filling, it was cancelled by the doctor and no one bothered to call me until I called them on the day of the appojntment to verify my time and the staff said the appointment was cancelled. Very irresponsible staff and management. Very disappointed with the services
Fantastic experience: The reception was excellent. I only waited a few minutes. All the staff welcomed me in a special way. I am happy and feel comfortable working with them.
Fantastic experience: Yusmary she is very friendly & respectful she is very detailed in what she does. She makes feel comfortable in the appointment.
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience. I had an appointment scheduled but was left waiting for a very long time with no explanation or apology. What made it worse was how incredibly rude and unprofessional the front desk lady was. She had a bad attitude from the moment I arrived and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by simply checking in. A dental office should be welcoming and respectful to its patients—this place was anything near that. I will not be coming back and would not recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Everyone there is always kind, caring and outgoing. I have been going there for years for myself and my kids & I highly recommend them.❤️
Negative experience: What a terrible experience. I've never encountered a ruder front office staff in all my 35+ years of practice. They continually hang up on the patient calls, they mumble and behave so unprofessionally when asked to repeat themselves. After 4 times of being hung up on, I lost my temper and now I'M the problem. I leave messages for the dentist to call me and they fail to pass the message on to the Dr. The staff is abrupt, unfriendly, uncooperative, unhelpful and full of awful tone in their voices. This has been happening for approximately 3 years. I like the Dr. but think it's time to move on. Just awful!
Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office — by far the worst I’ve encountered. The endodontist was unprofessional and ended up making my situation worse. The treatment had to be redone elsewhere, and I nearly lost the tooth due to the mishandling. The facility itself was unclean, and the setup for X-rays was chaotic and unsafe. The X-ray machine was located at the entrance, and I was repeatedly asked — nearly ten times in one hour — to move and hide behind a corner while they took images for other patients. This not only felt disorganized but raised serious concerns about safety and hygiene. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking competent or professional dental care.
Negative experience: Avoid. Horrible service and overpriced. Front desk worker is a toxic, miserable person and will lash out at patients for no reason. Left a note to be filled from an orthodontist, they lost the form. Charged $500 more for root canal than another dentist in the area who did a much better job with better service. This place is a joke of a medical office
Negative experience: As soon as I walked in, I noticed how dirty the office was, and I was in complete dismay since this was a dental office. I was poorly greeted and spoken too in a condescending manner by both the front desk and especially the office manager, Markita who was not helpful and even went as far as telling me that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I had an appointment for March 7th at 4 pm, and I called on Thursday, March 6th, to confirm the appointment, and when I arrived at my appointment time on the 7th, they told me my appointment was for yesterday. Jonette is the person that the office manager Markita condescendingly told me made my appointment. I confirmed with Jonette that my appointment was for the 7th, and she said yes. I was treated in a way that a patient should never be treated. This is a dental/medical office where care and compassion toward patients should be of the utmost priority, and that was not my experience. I have contacted my insurance company to make them aware of this unfortunate situation. I spoke with Dr. G and she was wonderful! She explained that she would perform an exam to determine why my cap fell out in only a little over a year that it was put in. I spent close to $2,500 at Little Falls Family Dental, and this is the way I was treated by the office staff? I left extremely upset, and my husband is making his employer, who we are insured through, aware of my experience at Little Falls Family Dental. I have to say I have never had an experience like this one, and I am extremely upset at the way I was treated by Markita, the office manager. She spoke so loudly that everyone in the waiting room heard her, and they looked over like they couldn't believe the way she was speaking to me. She did not do anything to alleviate my situation except tell me rudely that if I wanted to I would need to reschedule for a different day that was all she said and turned her back on me and took care of other patients. The front desk person spoke to me poorly as well after she saw the way Markita spoke to me. When I asked her name, Markita told me I didn't need to know her name, and she also spoke to me in the same condescending tone. I can't believe this. This has never happened to me before, and my husband and I have been patients of Little Falls Family Dental for a number of years. Unfortunately, this experience has left us very upset and disappointed with this dental office, and we would not risk coming back and being treated in the same horrific manner.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional. Do not go here for any procedure. Initially they will schedule an appointment. And later on the day of your appointment they will call you 15 minutes before to tell you have to pay $xxx as your insurance won’t cover it, without even consultation. Their priority is to pull out of your pocket or your insurance. The Staff is very rude too. They don’t provide you any details about the dental procedure code. Had a very bad experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.
Negative experience: Shady and sketchy. They refused to use my insurance and asked me to pay in full to cover my services because they had prior experience of insurance not paying them. This seems like a YOU problem then ME problem. If you have faced this issue why continue accepting insurance at first place. Rudest staff i have ever come across.
Negative experience: Called up today as a new patient to schedule an appointment for a tooth extraction. I was told i'd need a referral or a consultation from their dentists. "Sure no problem", they offered me a consultation appointment the following day(Thursday) at 9am. but I had asked if there was anything available for Friday. The women proceeded to get loud and with an attitude in her voice told me no. I said I'd do Thursday at 9am only to get heavy sigh and a muttered "oh my god!" as if I was inconveniencing her. Promptly hung up.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful oral surgeon and dental assistant! Consistently asked me if I was ok, very attentive and professional. This wasn’t an easy double extraction, but they were so careful and professional and made me feel at ease! Thank you for doing an amazing job with me! I’m truly grateful!
Negative experience: The unprofessionalism of this place. Do not go here. If they only knew the circus they run. Your appointment gets cancelled like as if your sitting at home and waiting for them to call you until the wonderful Ortho staff shows up, you smile is not a priority is what they pull out of your pocket or your insurance. I'm calling my lawyers Damaris the wonderful Mangaer of Ortho needs to get her team on track including herself your saying hi But you need to come back and reschedule? .. any other office calls for important appointments . I ask for a manager above her . Is like a hidden secret who runs this facility? At this point go close the place since Dentis don't show up and you have silly people giving customers attitude for not doing their JOB CORRECTLY
Positive experience: The staff here is friendly, and the service is quick and professional. X-rays and panoramic scans were high quality and done efficiently. The dental care itself was excellent—no complaints there! However, the waiting area could use some upgrades. The chairs looked worn, and the random notices on the walls made it feel a bit disorganized. Also, the medical history and privacy forms were so poorly printed that they were hard to read. Thankfully, the treatment areas were much better, and the care was top-notch. A few small improvements to the waiting area would make a big difference, but overall, I’d still recommend this place for quality dental care!
Negative experience: Very sad place , I think they should close soon If they can’t book correctly This is the third time , they make mistake in booking And then the lie to us and told us next week the insurance pay for cleaning . I called horizon and they told me Your daughter is due today and your son next week The secretary out didn’t say sorry at all and said They person who book you is the manager herself Not us . Not even a sorry word from them And when I said that is not right and not good service , they didn’t care and said solve it with The manager since she booked it wrong This is the third time as my wife told me Made a mistake with her . I did change completely to different dentist center Very very bad service
Negative experience: The hygienist was rude and arrogant and was wearing a mask which is perfectly fine but upon my daughter entering the room my daughter sneezed because she has bad asthma and she asked if she was sick my daughter said no than she backed up against the wall and said you sure she not sick like if your scared to work with people maybe your in the wrong field and need to learn people skills.
Fantastic experience: I was checked in and seen in a timely manner, the receptionist was very cordial, the hygenist took time to listen to the reason for my visit and the x-ray was not painful, my interaction with the dentist was pleasant as she explained what she could to to resolve my issue. Overall my experience with the practice has been good.
Negative experience: It was very good when it's open but now I can say they become very bad . I have people of my family come to this location always there were delays couple times I have to wait almost one hour and more recently after I took appointment for my kids before 1month and half they called me one day before the appointment to reschedule for other month waiting, also they are screw the appointment with my Mom couple times they don't do their jobs as professional I'm looking now to change their s place.
Fantastic experience: Dr. G is wonderful. She's taking such good care of me. My appointments are always on schedule. I don't have to wait. They take me right in. I recommend this office for anyone who needs work on their teeth. They're fantastic and I thank them!
Fantastic experience: My son and I have absolutely nothing but rave reviews for this dentist and the staff. Always very nice and clean and makes the kids feel at ease . My son is never nervous and if he needs help with his braces they are helpful with no issues !! The techs and the hygienists are incredible and patient and we love this place
Positive experience: The visit in its summary was pretty standard. It would be a 5 star review, but I was waiting in the dentist chair for over 30 min for a routine cleaning. My doctor was awesome and I was the last appointment of the evening, so that could be the factor behind the waiting.
Negative experience: i never had any discomfort in my mouth, my bite is not the same. mouth feels crooked. i expressed to them numerous times the discomfort i felt, and it was ignored. horrible experience. i do not recommend this office. very unprofessional staff.
Fantastic experience: This is one dentist office I never mind going to. This was my first time with Dr. Kaale and he is just AMAZING!! Such a wonderful personality! Funny!!! Had me at such ease! He was very gentle and just an awesome dentist! The staff here is always very nice! The girls in the front are so sweet. I just love coming here!
Negative experience: I went here a couple months ago and I’m never going again. I went there three times in a matter of two months because my filling kept cracking or falling out they’re terrible. I would not recommend this place and my teeth are still hurting till this day and I’m still trying to find a good dentist. They do not care about the patients they have at all I do not recommend
Fantastic experience: Justina hygentest very professional got right to point i smiled whole way through my procedure. Staff are nice everyone there has nice smile . Take care my dental needs A + . Follow instructions after visit you be fine .Saturdays seem to always be packed i call ahead time.
Negative experience: I got a crown from them and that boy pops out every other month for fun. They are supposed to last up to 5 years… I don’t eat rocks I don’t do anything to harm my teeth yet the thing won’t stay in…. Just don’t go here I ask them to fix the issue they’ve created and I was told they can’t help me well I can’t help to leave a bad review then my boy. ♂️
Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous experience. I never leave bad reviews but be cautious before stepping foot here. You walk in everyone looks so unhappy and annoyed and then go to the back to have the dentist walk up to you with his headphones blasting and dancing. Even when he is working!!!! Both my parents went to this clinic for basic cleaning. They make you set up multiple appointments for something that can be done in less than one hr. And my father is left with excruciating pain after the dentist did a filling. We asked for a new dentist when we went back for the emergency appointment and that was not an option. We kindly got up and left. Never again!!!
Negative experience: I recently went there for an appointment for my son. I usually don’t have a bad experience with the staff. I like the dentist there, but this time around I brought my husband’s EOB because he received a bill. It’s a balance bill because the dentist is in network with my husband’s insurance. I told the lady at check out that I had his EOB and it stated that the reason the dentist didn’t get paid is because they need a clear X-ray of his root canal and the Hispanic chunky lady was like oh I don’t have the billing phone number all I can do is email them. She was like oh I will let the dark skin lady know about the bill. She didn’t do nothing she just disregarded it and was like oh we have a lot of patients to do billing for whenever we receive the reason for denial it will be taken care of. Plus the dark skin lady was over hearing everything and did nothing either. Mind you I had the EOB with me. I’m just in disbelief that that’s how they handle the dentist billing.
Negative experience: I couldn’t even get into office that is how awful customer service is! I called to make a new patient appointment, they took all my information, put me on hold to book, and we were disconnected. No call back. I called back, disconnected again. Finally I got the same man and he insisted he needed every piece of our personal information in order to view the appointment that was made. I said that’s impossible you go to the date & you see if the client is booked, I gave you name and birthday. You don’t need every bit of information again. Another 5 minute hold and her appointment was found. This alone makes me weary of even going to the appointment! Especially after all these other reviews
Negative experience: I went in And I was Greeted with attitude. The young receptionist with the braids gave me a dirty look when I asked her a simple question. She was very unprofessional And The Atmosphere of the office was horrible. All those bad reviews Are true and it's crazy how the office is hiring miserable Rude employees. If they don't like their jobs they could look somewhere else... I heard the dollar store next to them is hiring. That's why a lot of people are taking their business somewhere else and I see why.
Fantastic experience: I really am terrified of going to the dentist, however Little Falls Family Dental has been extremely gentle and patient with me in this regard. Andrea the hygienist is super sweet, gentle, and caring. She takes time with for patients to understand how to better care for their teeth for pearlier results. What stood out to me the most is her attentiveness, accuracy when working with her dental tools, and how fast moving the process is and smooth when she cleans my teeth. I am a horrible patient I am not an easy clean I appreciate how smooth she makes it. I also come here on lunch and she always respects the time I have to leave making it easier to fit in my dental hygiene. Andrea is great, the front desk are on their A game as well. Love it here!
Negative experience: AVOID. They’re unprofessional extremely slow and unfriendly. They kept changing my appt time without asking me. Staff is very unfriendly and slow. Level of care is inferior and sloppy. Supplies are thrown around in the hallway in a messy heap.Gross! I felt like I was in a third world country every time I was there. All of the chairs in lobby are dirty, stained and disgusting . Horrible place, never going back.
Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this office for some visits already. Staffs have been great. I have some dental work done by Dr. G who’s highly compassionate, very detailed and truly caring. She explains everything thoroughly so we as a patient understand what is happening and very honest . My brother is also being seen by her for implant. Highly recommend this practice to everyone.
Fantastic experience: Have been coming to this office for 2 years with my children. Everyone is great and courteous. Dr. Choi is amazing with my kids. I’ve been treated by Dr. G who’s very detailed, knowledgeable and explains honestly each and every step and truly cares about her patients. Cannot wait to come back for our recall exam.
Negative experience: Unfortunately I have to agree with the many many bad reviews here. With exception to the hygienist, assistant and one desk person the rest are totally unprofessional. I went in for pain in tooth, spent a ton of money and still have the exact same problem. Had to go back to have tooth polished and adjusted. Still not right. I’m not sure I even got the right tooth root canal as the pain still exists. Now I have to spend more money else where to fix the problem. Also have to change insurance as this terrible experience maxed my policy out. So discouraging to still be in pain. Trusting they would do the right thing. Highly recommend looking elsewhere where for a dentist. My gut said to run when she started, I should have trusted that feeling!
Negative experience: If I can leave negative stars this location will get it everytime! My boys have braces and can only be seen once a month!!! When your child finally gets to his apt has to wait and don't get any kind of follow up... The girls are wildly unprofessional allll the time!!! They ignore that pts are waiting and WE CAN HEAR UR CONVERSATIONS UR HAVING ABOUT OTHER PTS!!!♀️♀️♀️ And let's not add when you call the office to set some kind of appt or something they are EXTREEEMMMEELLYYY NASTYY AND HAVE U ON HOLD OR HANG UP ON U!! THEY JUST THE WORST DENTISTRY HERE!!
Fantastic experience: Dr G is excellent. She is very compassionate and explains everything thoroughly. By far one of the best Dentist I have ever been to. The office staff are efficient and professional. Dental assistant Ruby is very knowledgaable and clearly passionate about her job.
Negative experience: Terrible customer service on the phone. Miscommunication and false information relayed. I told them I was In pain and had my paperwork sent over from my dentist. Man on the phone was rude and told me someone would get to me in a week. Then I attempt to call again and he said two weeks. Taking my service elsewhere.
Negative experience: The office was dirty and disorganized and is certainly not designed or equipped for young children. It took nearly 2 hours for a teeth cleaning and xrays. The floor in the exam room was filthy and appeared like it had not been cleaned in ages. Its also unreasonable to expect a young child who is cooperative and patient to sit in a dental chair for over an hour while waiting for the Dr, all the while having the parents stand in a cramped corner without anywhere to sit. The office staff would come in and out of the room frequently, while racing all about the office extremely frazzled. I have never been to any dental practice that operated in this way. I will never go back and would never recommend this facility to anyone.
Negative experience: Worst experience ever. First to make an appointment you wait on the phone for over 10 minutes. Then as a new customer the forms have been copied so many times you can’t read them. The receptionist is very unprofessional and you can see she hates her job. Does not communicate at all. I waited one hour for my first ever appointment and she said she couldn’t get through to the insurance for coverage so she told me to call and wait on the phone. Very very unprofessional
Negative experience: I have never given a bad review, but this time I have to. They make you wait for 50 minutes or more after checking in even when you get in there on time. On the other hand, they reschedule your appointment If you were late for 10 minutes. Their time is worthy, but patients' time is worthless. My appointment was at 12:00 I was there at 11:58.Dispit I called to inform them that I am on my way. I needed 5 mins to get in there. They usually if I wasnt there at 11:45 they let the patient after go ahead of you and make you wait. So, they made me wait for 55 minutes which affected my job hours. When I asked about the manager they said they didn't know where she/he was. The other day, I was complaining of severe canker sores in my mouth, my doctor wasn't there so I had to see another doctor who was about to give me a referral to a neurologist thinking it’s a migraine. The bathroom is mostly dirty and has no supplies. They keep changing doctors. Bad experience, bad front desk, difficult doctor appointments, and worst dentist ever.
Negative experience: Me and my twin sister went there for a few fillings each, they did the fillings horribly where we would both have pain in that spot till now. One of the fillings I did was done badly so it turned into a root canal as well, I don’t have insurance so I had to pay 2500 on that particular tooth. It was seriously so absurd I wish I saved the time and money, DONT GO HERE!!
Negative experience: I went for a visit here in July for a cleaning and received an incorrect bill for the service and have been trying to get it rectified ever since. Calls to the billing department go un-returned and the front desk staff always say the manager is busy and will call me back (yet never does). Please confirm on your own what exact services you need before going. I was given an X-ray that I am only approved to get once every 3 years. I thought they would have known that in advance since I gave them all of my insurance information a month before my appointment. Really disappointed as a first time patient since this is close to home and could have been very convenient. I won’t be returning unfortunately.
Negative experience: My daughter went there last week to get a few fillings. She had a lot of pain. She couldn't eat, couldn't sleep and went back on Monday to see what was wrong. They told her it's probably irritated. She left there in tears from the pain they caused her with a prescription for antibiotics and sent her on her way. Well today we go to another dentist, my daughter had nerve damage and had to get a root canal because of their failure to check thoroughly and rush her out like they couldn't be bothered. Save yourself the aggravation and the pain they might cause you.
Negative experience: My son had a broken tooth and went there. They told him that, he would need a root canal. The day , he got his teeth cleaned, it was in a rush and they didn’t doing it right. Then, he had to wait for months for his root canal because the doctor, only comes once a month, and they put a cap which fell off his teeth after a few days. When he went back for his root canal, instead of working on the broken tooth, they worked on the other side he didn’t need to. Since then.,he’s been suffering with so much pain from both sides of his mouth, while he’s waiting for another root canal on the broken tooth. He didn’t ask for all the suffering he’s going through. This place is terrible when, it comes to their dental care. DO NOT take your family there for dental care.
Negative experience: I never give bad reviews, but I feel like I need to. I went here for years then started having my fillings come out or chip off. One time I was in so much pain from a filling that came off and it was after I went in to get the filling fixed because it came out. They could not get me in to get it fixed without waiting weeks. My dad luckily got me a quick appointment with his dentist and I am now going there months. The new dentist told me that they did the fillings wrong. The fillings were put in on top of old fillings and never took out of the old filling. I will not recommend Little Falls Dental. They always rushed my teeth cleanings as well and always had different dentists.
Negative experience: I have been a patient here for about 2 years and I felt satisfied until I needed a bridge and everything went well until the bridge was placed and unfortunately I have front implants and they cracked the top of one of them & will No take responsibility for it. I was given an appointment with the dentist (wasted of my time) and was informed by him to go back to where I got my implant to have it repaired! Not only was I very surprised to hear him say that but was told that they didn’t have the element for it! PS: the day my permanent bridge was placed there was an inexperienced young lady trying to remove the temporary tooth out cause the dentist was busy with another patient & eventually the dentist had to come in to remove it. Will not return to this place ever again!
Negative experience: If there is below zero to rate them I will do. The question is why? This clinic or dental office work so fast and make you feel he is a mechanic not a doctor. 2nd my insurance send a detail statement and how much should I pay for the different and when you adde the money it came to my attention they charge me 60 USD than what the insurance said. I wrote to them and 3 weeks later I got a phone call from non professional to talk so I end up saying I want to go to a different dentist. If I were you to choice a dentist this mechanic is not for ur teeth. Oh forget to mention NO RESPECT TO THE APPOINTMENT, at least if you have an appointment you got to wait 40 minutes.
Negative experience: I have been trying to get my daughter to see a dentist since the summer. The first time I called it took me a whole month to get her appointment. The day right before her appointment the office called me to cancel and reschedule which was frustrating within itself being that it took a whole month. I am a single mom and had already taken the day off. They claimed that there was no hygienist in the office. ( I have worked in a Dr's office in the past and was told way in advance when they wouldn't be someone in the office) So I natural found this to be an inconsiderate excuse. The office rescheduled me for another appointment a whole month away which caused more frustration and mentioned that they would put in a note in the system that if their are any cancelations to contact me. So now today around early 2pm in the afternoon I get a call from the office canceling yet another appointment and rescheduling me again, for again another month way. I guarantee you if I needed to cancel they naturally would have told me that I would have needed to cancel 24 hours in advance however this office cannot give me the same courtesy. The person I spoke with today said that she would put a note in the system again but I wont hold my breath. So again I have scheduled another day off of work for nothing. They have to do better then this!! This is Absolutely ridiculous!!! Find another pediatric dentist. The frustration isn't worth it. I should have done this from the start. I had to give it a 1 star just to post this. ZERO stars for me.
Fantastic experience: I had went today for my teeth cleaning and honestly I got to say in years I did not experience a good cleaning like this time. My first time with the hygienist her name is Diana and she did an amazing time and I felt she was taking her time and did a deep cleaning. I been coming to this office for your before I felt they were always rushing when it comes to cleaning that’s why I haven’t been here in a while. But from now on every time I schedule an appointment I make sure it’s Diana
Negative experience: Dentists are good and they take my insurance. My biggest complaint after taking my kids here for years is they have absolutely no respect for their customers time. You are pretty much guaranteed to wait at least one hour after your appointment time to get in the room. Sometimes two hours. I have no experience running a medical office and don't mean to be an armchair quarterback but there has to be a better way than the way they're doing it. The only reason I keep coming back is because the services are good but I do dread the days I have to stop by Little Falls Family Dental.
Negative experience: This office keeps sending me a bill that I am Not supposed to receive. I was informed it is a Billing Office mistake as they did not update the referral in the correct tab. It's been an on-going chronic issue, with no one to correct it. What makes it worse is that, no one answers or returns the calls from the Business Office or from the Corporate Office. Now due to the incompetent employees, my name was sent to collections because of an error they cannot seem to fix.
Thank you for this amazing rating!
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!!! You need to visit this dental site. I was there over a week ago and had a great experience.. first of all the Lady doctor, Doctor G is amazing she was very informative and not to pushy on getting treatment done rather educate you and that made me very comfortable.. the assistant with the dreads his name is joy and his name matches his personality lol .. overall great experience highly recommend to anyone wit dental fears.
Thank you for entrusting us with your dental care needs, OG. We're glad to hear that you had a comfortable and enjoyable experience with us!
Negative experience: I’ve been a patient since 2019 and in that time I’ve had the following things happen: 1. A root canal with an infection so bad my entire face was swollen. 2. A replacement crown come off multiple times 3. Constantly mocked for having “too much saliva” 4. A temporary crown fall of multiple times. When I called the emergency line, no one called me back. I ended up calling an emergency dentist to see if I needed to do anything. I could go on and on. I finally went to a different dentist to get a second opinion and he showed me just how bad my dental work done at Little Falls Dental is. Bad fillings, bad root canals and ill-fitting crowns. I’m glad I found another dentist because if I continued at Little Falls Family Dental, I would have lost one of my teeth. It’s going to cost a small fortune to fix all of this. I will say I never had a bad experience with the front desk. I was always treated well, which Is the opposite of what happened to me in the dentist chair. If I could give a negative review, I would. I can only hope this review helps people to make a better decision than I did.
Thank you for providing a review, Dande. We apologize that you had a disappointing experience with us. Negative experience: I paid a bill in full back in 2020. I mailed (and emailed) my confirmed payments to them numerous times because I continued to receive that same bill for 2+ years. After much back and forth with confused staff, a manager finally told me she would take care of their billing error. I never heard from her again. Instead, she sent my bill to a collector... a bill for which she had both digital and paper payment receipts. They expect me to pay them twice for the same procedure or damage my credit score by refusing to pay it. I cannot believe I am in this ridiculous position. They should be ashamed. I regret ever stepping foot in this practice.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, Sarah. It's regretful to see that we have fallen short in providing the best experience possible for you. Your feedback is valued and contributes to our company's success. I will forward your information to the billing department for them to resolve this with you.
Negative experience: If you want to wait forever for your orthodontist appointment or have them tell you that you have no appointment that day even though they gave you a scheduling card, then this is the place for you. An hour + wait time, it's ridiculous! It would've have been better if they called people to let them know they're super behind, most people would reschedule. Also, they're awful at keeping track of what's going on, I've had to remind them why we're at the appointment.
Thank you for providing feedback about your recent visit to our office, Cindy. It’s our mission to create a comfortable atmosphere for our patients to receive quality dental care. It’s regretful to see that we’ve fallen short of that. All insight that can aid us improving in customer satisfaction is appreciated. Please give us a call at (732) 905-5043 to discuss this further.
Negative experience: The front desk and scheduling is a nightmare. Brought my son here three times. Called for an appt first time for a painful issue. Went through long phone call to schedule appt and discuss who needed to see him. When we arrived at appt two months later, they didn't have him on schedule. I was told they had problems with their scheduling and it was being addressed. The doctor who needed to see him was not there so we rescheduled. Month later showed up again and they didn't have him on schedule. Had a different doctor look at him who said he needed a procedure. Scheduled the procedure. Showed up at that appt for procedure, it was a different doctor who said that procedure was unnecessary and "old school". Doctor did a different procudre and scheduled a follow up. Arrived today for the follow up, they didn't have him on schedule again. Time to find a new dentist.
Negative experience: The doctor was very nice but I had booked a cleaning and when I got there, they took my x rays and told me they couldn’t do a cleaning today. They never even called me to tell me this would happen. I took time off work to go here and now I have to do a separate appointment for a cleaning. What a waste of time.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Little Falls Family Dental for a while now and have been so happy to have met Joline the dental hygienist! She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable during my appointment. I also couldn’t have asked for a better cleaning and teeth whitening! She really knows what she’s doing, I 10/10 recommend her for your services.
Thank you for providing this awesome review! We will let Joline know how she provided such a positive experience for you. See you next time!
Negative experience: Stay away from this place. They have been harassing me for over a year about a bill that I am not responsible for. Even after sending them proof from my insurance and several calls to their office they are continuing to send it. Not to mention the doctor that did my wisdom teeth removal worked so hard on the one it hit the sinus wall and created this giant infection. When I went back about it I found out that dentist is only in that office once in awhile and I was told to go to the ER. After a few months of seeing an actual oral surgery that had to clean out the infection and close it up i than ended up seeing an ENT doctor which ended in having surgery to remove the infection in all my sinus cavietys on the left side of my face. I wasn't going to originally write this review but you guys need to get it together and stop harassing me with this bill that I am not responsible for
Melissa, thank you for sharing about your experience with our office. Your feedback and concerns are important to us. This matter has been forwarded to our Office Manager to review.
Negative experience: Horrible experience!!! I needed a root canal (I had an infection) I waited a month for my appointment. They called me the day before of my appointment to let me know that they have to cancel it because the dentist is going to retire. ?? Really?? You didn’t know that beforehand? So know I have to wait another month to do the treatment at another place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Fantastic experience: My sons have been going to Little Falls Family Dental for several years. Now that they are teens, they continue to feel comfortable, happy, and satisfied with their experiences. The staff is always kind to them and makes them feel relaxed. They have had cleanings, baby teeth extractions, sealants, a couple cavity fillings, and one recently got braces. I am extremely satisfied with the services there. Keep up the great work!
Victoria, thank you so very much for the kind words and awesome review. We are glad to see that we are able to deliver the ultimate patient experience for your sons.
Negative experience: The service was great and the staff was pleasant. The only issue I have with this dentist facility would be I keep getting the same bill over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, even though I had sent copies of my receipts. I had spoken with Iris, the office manager who advised me to disregard and she will handle this for us. However, we have been receiving the same bill going on a year and seven months after the procedure. What is wrong with their Billing Department? They can only be contacted via email. Seriously? This is the 21st century guys. Please take care of my bill. Don't mess up good Service with your lack of Billing inefficiency. I hope this post can help us. Thank you.
Thank you for providing us with feedback about your experience, Christian. All insight that can aid us improving in customer satisfaction is appreciated. Your billing concerns have been escalated.
Negative experience: Do not even bother! The worst place. I had an emergency appointment they did nothing for me! It's a joke the office and rooms are disgusting.. Their so called hygienists have no experience at all and they are obnoxious. Their dentists are even worse. Chop shop. They are not capable to take care of their patients. This place should be shut down immediately! You will never be treated properly! Do Not Go Here! You will wait for months to be treated! I know with the insurance we have this is what you get? Yeah well keep doing your research you will find a much better option. Do not go to this place!
Negative experience: I have been going here for several years. For routine cleanings, etc everything's fine. But now I have an infected implant. Made appt in late July for myself, my daughter and fiance. Waited a month and only 2 of the 3 appts were in the book. Obviously I sacrificed my appt and rescheduled for late Sept, another month wait. As we get closer O get a confirmation for my daughter's next appt and not mine. At this point I am waiting 60 plus days for an emergency appt. My fiance was told she needed a root canal and 30 days later we are waiting still for insurance clearance to get the procedure scheduled (which will be another month after clearance) as she continues to wait for a root canal she initially called in July for. Again it's mid September. We both now have infections for 2-3 months since we called for appts. This has been our dentist for many years but they do not understand the true gravitas of a genuine emergency situation. This is not the first time I have had this issue with anything other than routine cleanings, etc. If its not an isolated incident it is a pattern. Maybe posting a review here will get a response quicker than calling over and over for appts. Sadly it seems this is the best avenue for service. Did I forget to mention they called me to reschedule my daughter's appt less than 48 hrs before? An appt made a month ahead and the business called to reschedule less than 48 hrs before? Sadly this has happened more than once. So in summary I made three appointments in July. The first appointment disappeared two times now. The second appointment it was determined a root canal was needed and we're still waiting on that. Waiting for clearance to make an appointment that will be a month away. The third appointment they called less than 48 hours before to tell me they had to reschedule. Here we are mid September two people with infections in their mouths who called in July are still waiting for appointments. Not waiting for our appointment to arrive but waiting to schedule the appointments. Hopefully my appointment doesn't disappear a third time because I'll be waiting till Christmas. 3 months now they have people waiting with infections and we are still waiting just to get an appt scheduled.
Negative experience: Two years ago I had a great dentist and great tech but last few times when I went there I have had the most unpleasant service. My appointment was cancelled twice the day before the appointment scheduled... and it takes over a month to get another one. The dentist was a young girl who rushed in the room never making eye contacts and not interested in answering questions. Also I went a second time to get my teeth bleached and the tech was new who was constantly touching her phone with gloves on and putting the same gloves hands in my mouth. Not paying attention that the bleach solution went all over my lips giving me blisters. The tech was new and was I think being trained by another tech who was caring but she left after she set up and told her what to do and then I had the worst experience with the new one... I don’t think I will over go there again...
Thank you, Binal. We appreciate your feedback :)
Negative experience: This place is so unorganized with their appointments times. It took forever to get an appointment ( literal phone tag). Then finally I get one its two months out, I went to appointment and I saw families with children being told to stay outside in 90 degree weather! I waited 1hr 30min and left because they were backed up! If you give the patient their appointment time, they are to be seen around that time. NOT and hour or two later then run a dental clinc not a private office. Not worth the headache and the office is so insensitive some lady told me to go somewhere else if I can not wait. What kind of customer service is that?! I used to work at a dentist office and never have I ever spoke to a patient that way. Your just another mouth to them and insurance collecting.
Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would! I got braces in April and was told that I would be contacted to make a follow-up to get them tightened. I had to call and ask about my appointment, weeks later. I was given an appointment in June. A day before my appointment to get them tightened, I was called to reschedule. When I told them I couldn't come in on the date they gave me, they gave me an appointment for August. Every time I spoke to someone I was always given an attitude. I have brackets that have gotten loose and when I spoke to a girl working in the office said she didn't know what to tell me or what to do. It is now August and I have not gotten them tightened. The manager is horrible and has the most disgusting attitude along with the other girls working in the office. They are extremely unprofessional and rude. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM WITH THE NEW JERSEY STATE BOARD OF DENTISTRY.
Negative experience: I went to my appt at 10am and as I filled out paper work I over heard two parents with children asking how much longer is their wait time.(red flag) One mom asked the receptionist “she can’t be waiting in a hot car with her children”.(red flag) A father with a toddler and 10 year old had to leave to go check his child in the patient room because front desk wouldn't let him go see the doctor with his children.(red flag) Another mother with 3 children walked in and filled out paperwork. The other two families were asked to leave the waiting room and wait in their cars. (Red flag)You could feel the tension in the room. Then I was asked to wait in my car but my appt time was pst 9:30 and it was 10:45. The front desk let me stay in waiting room since I was next. As I left about an hour or so later I overheard a parent stating she waiting for 2 hours and when can her child be seen? (Red flag)The front desk didn’t give her a straight answer they were throwing it back on her. Front desk didn’t know when the doctor would finish, odd because they have the schedule in front of them. I feel for all these parents frustrations it was 93 degree outside and dental offices should of not booked too many children appt in a blocked time frame. Its one thing for a springy weather to sit outside but 93 degree weather is a hazard for children. I had my cleaning done but I will be switching doctors offices too much tension and unorganized booking schedule with too many patient booked at one time. I wouldn’t recommend this dentist because it isn’t family and children friendly, patient time isn’t valued and wait time is 2 hours plus with a front desk not knowing anything.
