Fantastic experience: Amazing, Concerning, Compassionate, Professionalism = Citracado Dental Group- They checked all the boxes for me during a recent dental emergency I encountered upon arriving here in San Diego for a destination wedding 3/24/26 I was suffering sever pain when contacted the office the following morning seeking an appointment to resolve my issue prior to the scheduled event the next evening . I was a bit pessmistic about my chances of getting an appointment and having treatment administered in a timely manner. But , to my chagrin, these guys at this outfit did it all for me . The intake person took my call early , about 9:30 am Wed 3/25/26 and I provided her my urgency and she quickly took my information and assigned me a 3:30p slot to be seen. The tech Nancy, who was so nice comforting , got me in for xrays promptly upon my arriving, then informed the team my desire to please have treatment rendered asap! and WOW! They Did just that. I met with Dr. Anne who came in to speak with me regarding my history and the xray results. She then prescribed a plan of treatment for pressing situations , she was very nice , confident cool ,patient and concerned in sharing her plan for me. All of this within an hour's time. I made the wedding the following day w/o issue. She also made sure we had a plan of attack in the event there was a problem after my leaving for the weekend. Lastly, everybody on the team played their part and worked in concert to get a fearful patient resolve., The receptionist was really great with the charges she levied me , great price. Fantastic experience: I just had my first visit to Citricado Dental Group. I have to share how friendly the staff was when I arrived. The dentist I had an appointment with was Dr. Nick Jungman. Super knowledgeable, competent, professional and pleasant. I don't look forward to dentist visits because of past experiences, so I went there with some anxiety not knowing what to expect. I was more relaxed than I ever recall at a dentist office. I can't believe I am writing this, but I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. Negative experience: The office staffs seem nice at the beginning. But they intentionally did not disclose the price quote on the treatment plan before the office visit. They told me that they took all the PPO insurance, but intentionally hid the fact that my dental insurance is not in their network. After the first dental office visit with them, they charged me hundreds of dollars for the x-rays and oral evaluation, which will be completely free of charge if I visit my network dentist. They successfully tricked me to see their dentist and did not disclose the fact that I am not in the network. After I refused to continue with more office visits with them. The dentist and staff suddenly showed their true color . Avoid this office if you can .

Fantastic experience: Citracado has been an amazing experience. Like all healthcare procedures there are ups and downs so it’s really important that both sides are engaged, open and communicative and they are just that. They are warm and friendly and really give off a family vibe which is nice. They also are super flexible which is so important with repairing dental needs. I’ve had two emergencies from an old implant and both times they made time for me right away. I’m so indebted for their engagement, flexibility, care and warm atmosphere. I am having a little issue with sensitivity from a crown but they’ve shown me that they are committed to giving me the best dental experience I can have. The dentist is my kryptonite so I’m so happy they all work to make me feel like Superman!

Positive experience: The Staff was sweet and comfortable. Mr. Youngman addressed my needs with broken crown took exrays made my pain go away by talking to me and rest assured he was gonna do everything to take away the pain I was experiencing.

Fantastic experience: I am very fortunate to get my dental work at Citracado. If you have not had dental work elsewhere and only had work at Citracado you won’t be able to know the difference in the work. I have not experienced such quality and amazing work anywhere. I am 60 years old and I can tell that the work done at Citracado is priceless. Not only is their facility beautiful and clean and not only do they have such amazing customer service but I feel like a millionaire being treated here. So much care and excellent work. Thank you. Positive experience: They do great dental work but honestly they are expensive and i ended up paying a lot more out of pocket I’m glad i checked in for my tooth though Ended up going through with my original dentist and id say they did well especially for the insane price difference. i was also told i wasnt going to be charged for the initial visit i actually was, they are very nice and do good dental work but i quote this from the doctor himself “money first always” when i asked for some quotes which I ended up paying 500$ now for a cleaning in my tooth for root canal (and a visit) i only paid 458$ at my dentist for the actual root canal and that also includes working off of their starting procedure as well it was originally going to be 258$. All in all the second opinion was worth it yes they were not the best at explaining that my insurance is gonna cover 40$ and not only that but send me a second bill because the insurance couldnt cover that either understandable though. Overall amazing dental work but be ready to pay heftier if you dont have a good insurance or if youre insurance isnt well covered but they do great wish they were cheaper

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you why Citracado Dental Group is the best—and no, I didn’t get paid to say this. As a first-time patient, my experience started off amazing thanks to Alma. She was an absolute sweetheart over the phone and took the time to walk me through the entire process. She’s professional, understands time management and scheduling, and somehow manages to get you in fast. I told you I got you, Alma When I arrived, I was greeted by Maribel, who was just as kind and welcoming. She didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions and made me feel comfortable right away. Shortly after, a staff member gave me a full tour of the office and helped with my X-rays. She showed me each room and explained the instruments being used—which was honestly fascinating. I had no idea how advanced dental technology has become. These people truly know their stuff. One thing that really stood out to me is that they’re a family business, which means a lot to me. I had a great conversation with Nick, who explained my situation thoroughly and broke down everything related to my tooth in a way that actually made sense. That conversation genuinely changed my perspective on how important dental care and cleanings are to living a healthy, happy life. He’s a good man. My hygienist (I believe her name was Kim) was incredibly kind and clearly very well trained. Her movements were precise, and she consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable during the cleaning. I really appreciated that. Toward the end of my visit, Edith walked me through my payment plan in a private room, away from other patients—which I absolutely loved. That level of privacy shows real respect and common courtesy. I don’t want anyone overhearing my financial information, and they handled that perfectly. Bottom line: don’t waste your time at other dental clinics. Fantastic experience: My daughter had chipped her from tooth in half from an accident at 4:00 on a Friday. I called countless dentists and most were already closed! I left messages and finally a friend recommended Dr. Nick. When I called they were open and even offered to stay and see my daughter after hours that night even though we weren't a regular patient. We opted to go in the next morning on Saturday as they were open! Dr Nick and staff were so kind and gentle and was able to fix her tooth in less than 2 hours start of visit to end. And the fees were very reasonable for an emergency. Her tooth looks great and we can't even tell her tooth was damaged. I highly recommend this office just for their hours alone. Why are so many offices closed early on a weekday and closed on weekends. Dental emergencies happen.

Had a crown done and it was the best experience I have ever had with dental work AND, it ended up costing less than the original quote so that was a huge bonus. Fantastic experience: My issue was a premolar that had chipped with two deep cracks. My previous dentist whom I was attempting to establish care with did not listen to my concerns regarding my tight budget and said I needed a crown at $2,100. I scheduled an appt for a 2nd opinion at Citracado Dental Group and met with Dr. William Jungman. He listened to my concerns as I was ready to have the tooth extracted due to the lack of funds. He was confident that all I needed was a three-surface posterior composite filling, not a crown. I was very hesitant due to the two deep cracks and continued to push for an extraction. He put me at ease and we went forward with the filling. I couldn't be happier. He saved my tooth and it was 1/4th the cost of a crown. Dr. Jungman did a great job. I have found my new dentist. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Dr. Jungman.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite dentist in Escondido. They have a nice office and friendly staff. I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Robin and she is very thorough. She initially took the extra time to show me the areas where I am not brushing thoroughly enough using a special light that showed the remaining plaque, even though I thought I was brushing thoroughly. She also educated me on the proper way to brush. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful office !! From arrival to dentist treatment plan ,this office is exceptional. I made my appointment to get a second opinion on major dental work a previous dentist suggested. The dentist was extremely through and I got to see and hear all the different options I had for treatment. I was extremely pleased with my treatment plan . Only thing I would add is when making my appointment I asked if they took my dental insurance and she said they did. After getting my treatment plan together which I felt comfortable in , I was then told they didn’t take delta dental ppo. I left in tears because I finally found a dentist to listen to my needs and I felt comfortable with but my treatment now was going to be 100%my responsibility. I highly recommend this office but just make sure they take your insurance before calling to make appointment:)

Fantastic experience: I came in for a Hygiene visit and an exam and X-rays. But 2 days before my appointment my lower right crown came off. It was over 30 years old and I was eating a caramel. So I called and told them what happened and they said they could definitely recement my crown that day too. Well after they cleaned out the old cement out of my old crown. They found small hole which is why it came off. So now I needed a new crown. They were wonderful to me and could do it that day for me. They made it right in office and cemented it too. And it is SO nice and a beautiful color and matches my teeth. Doctor Guti was so nice and an excellent Dentist. And Louise was SO nice and made me very comfortable the whole visit. I just love Citracado Dental Group. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: This dentist came highly recommended but at least 5 of my friends and they sure exceeded my expectations. They got me in same day for a painful tooth. The whole staff was incredibly kind and friendly. My treatment options were thoroughly explained and all of my questions were answered. My financial options were provided. Though my credit is questionable, I was quickly and easily approved through Cherry, relieving some of the associated stress with the visit. The procedure was performed without complications and I was kept as comfortable as possible, from the oral nerve blocks to the tv available for distraction while treatments were happening. Post op instructions and appointments were explained in detail. The office was incredibly clean and organized. The friendliness of the staff and comfortable vibe in the office made the visit a little less scary. Special shoutout to Dr Anna and her wonderful staff who helped throughout my time in the office. I am so glad to be a patient of Citracado Dental Group! Update: About 3 months ago I had a crown put on that Dr. Robert was not happy with. He said he had to redo the crown because it was not seated on the gum quite right and that a cavity would form under the crown if let as is. I am so glad that Dr. Robert was so honest about this as I would not have known that there was a problem. He did put on another crown for me at no charge to me. Lily explained everything she was doing and went into great detail on how I should be flossing and brushing my teeth. Fantastic experience: I came in this clinic with tooth pain after getting a couple of fillings done by another dentist (no pain before that). This was my third opinion, and I’m so glad I found Dr. Anna. We had a thorough consultation where she took the time to go over every tooth in detail and suggested a clear treatment plan. It turned out the previous work was done terribly - there was a crack between the tooth and the filling and even an empty space under the filling. Over a few visits, Dr. Anna fixed everything and treated the remaining teeth. I’ve never experienced such a careful, patient-centered approach. Huge thanks to Dr. Anna and her assistant Zoe. I’m truly happy I found my dentist! P.S. I drive 1.5 hours from Huntington Beach to this clinic and have never once regretted it.

Fantastic experience: I've been to several dentists in the last 10 years and this one exceeded my expectations. I saw Dr. Anna and was pleased to find her genuinely cheerful and caring. She listened and answered all my questions. Never have I seen a dentist that seemed to care so much. Additionally, what I needed done was not an ideal situation for many dental practices however they were willing to work with me. They briefed me on what to expect and let me make the final call. Awesome! Also, the imaging technician and the girls at the front desk were all very friendly.

The staff has excellent follow up and follow through. The dentist is so personable and friendly. He’s done an outstanding job, and my entire family now goes to this location. I like most that they will only tell you what you really need versus trying to be a money grab. They are a wonderful business, and I could not be more grateful to have this location as my provider! Having had several cleanings as well as a crown with partial tooth extraction, the entire process is always made so much less stressful due in large part to their kindness, professionalism, and great sense of humor, along with the incredible attention to detail and time spent in patiently explaining the process as well as sharing dental knowledge overall to address any questions or concerns I expressed. The quality of the crown is unmatched, with such precision in replicating the original molar, and cleanings are so thorough, also done with same high attention to detail. Fantastic experience: While travel I found myself in need of a dentist in an emergency situation. On a Saturday morning I called CITRACADO Dental Group for assistance. Matabele the receptionist was absolutely the sweetest most helpful individual. She listened and was sble to fit me in the schedule as well as assist with an insurance claim. All paperwork was done with ease. The dental assistant was kind and proficient. She was very proficient. Wasted no time and then met with the dentist that was very kind and professional. They walked me through every step. The office is incredibly beautiful. I had never walked into a dentist office that made patients feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. I was so fortunate to have found them. They are the absolute best!
