Fantastic experience: I brought my 2 year old son 06/02 here to get work done on his front teeth and everyone was so sweet and amazing at their job; They kept reminding us that every one of them are a parent and they understand what we are feeling. They could tell my husband and I were very nervous and they told us multiple times that if we weren’t ready we didn’t have to do anything today; they also knew we drove a long way and offered us a quick examination instead. We went through with my son’s procedure after we were given a very detailed planning of what was going to happen and thankfully, everything came out great. My son woke up and cried a little bit, and then when they walked us out to our car, they made sure one of us sat in the back with him and we went home from there. Thee anesthesiologist gave a lot of great recommendations for aftercare pain relief and we were still sent messages explaining aftercare in case we forgot. Thank you to our doctor Kate Dardis, our nurse Sandy and our anesthesiologist Dr Pham; Vanessa was also great and very helpful, she spoke softly thee entire time which was so reassuring. Again thank you to our team for taking care of my son! His smile is better than before and he is showing very little signs of discomfort!!

Negative experience: I am livid! My son was scheduled for surgery for Monday, for more than 2 months! It's Friday, I called today at 12pm to ask what time he is supposed to report to the office on Monday and they told me that they were still confirming times and will call me by 2pm to give me a time to come in. NO OME CALLED ME BACK! They closed at 2 according to Google. We have prepped and planned for this surgery to happen Monday and how UNPROFESSIONAL they are to not call to let me know anything! I cannot believe this level of unprofessionalism. My husband took off work, and I kept my son home from therapies for this. This is a surgery for a child, not just an appointment that could be rescheduled, even then...a call to let me know whats going on would be whats right. Unbelievable!

Fantastic experience: All i can say was the staff were all nice and friendly!!!! My sons procedure went well because of the amazing doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologist. We felt very welcomed and treated like family.

Fantastic experience: The whole team was amazing my son is Autistic and they took amazing care of him. I was starting to cry and they where even trying to help me. I would highly highly recommend this place for children with special needs and for moms that have to be alone because they had my back the entire time making coffee for me and giving me snacks while I waited for my son. Thank you so much to the dentist and anesthesiologist and nurse and even in the lady's in the front so much love in that place. They definitely give you details in everything they do and keep you in the loop so your not in the dark. I would definitely take my son back for sure I trust them.

Fantastic experience: OK, how do I begin? I had such a wonderful experience at North County Dental with my son yesterday. The entire team was truly amazing from start to finish. They took such great care of us and made sure I understood every step of the process, especially after his procedure. What really stood out to me was how attentive and compassionate everyone was. After the surgery, The dentist which was just So Amazing and the Anesthesiologist as well .They took the time to come out and speak with me, answer my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable with everything. That meant so much. I was also incredibly impressed that the nurse she was so incredible with him and patient She was just beyond wonderful .I’m so grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and support we received. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring. I truly appreciate all the effort that went into helping us and making this appointment happen. I highly recommend this place and I would really take the drive to be seen by such an amazing team again

Fantastic experience: Great staff and the dental doctor answered all my questions.

Negative experience: My experience with this dental office was extremely frustrating and disappointing. My appointment was rescheduled more than 10 times and canceled over 6 times, which is completely unacceptable for a procedure involving surgery and anesthesia. Vanessa and Veronica were especially unprofessional during my visit. I felt disrespected when they laughed and made rude comments, including telling me to “get a babysitter,” which was insensitive and inappropriate. Instead of showing compassion, they made an already stressful situation feel even worse. I also did not feel comfortable with the anesthesiologist due to behavior that, in my experience, felt strange and unprofessional. When you are trusting a provider to put you to sleep, feeling safe should be the bare minimum, and I did not feel that at all. Overall, this office made me lose trust and confidence in moving forward with my procedure here. I would not recommend this place based on my personal experience.

Fantastic experience: Very professional! Such amazing staff ! I was recommended by my sons pediatrician , staff are very gentle and staff does a very good job on explaining in detail what you need to know bout after care and the procedure that’s going to be done on your child. My son was very well taken care of by the amazing staff here!

Fantastic experience: Receptionists, doctor, nurse, anesthesiologist are all super friendly and they answer all of your questions. My daughter recovered amazingly and there were no complications, my son just had surgery and everything went great he still has a while to recover but he is doing great. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely resistant to there way of doing things because my son takes special care… we even went back n forth a few times. But they saw my pain and when I trusted them they helped me more than they needed to, they made sure my son got to the car safely. I haven’t seen the full results yet but I’m happy he had me there while he went under and he wasn’t scared. The car ride home was very hard and also waiting in the waiting room. I was injured pretty bad and my son was extremely anxious. I wish they could come up with better medicine for children on the spectrum. I understand you have to take safety precautions but some one has to do more research and make this easier for families like us.

Fantastic experience: Been going there since they were basically the only tenant in the building. Always leave happy after every appointment

Negative experience: Awful! They called me the Monday before my son's dental surgery and left a message to confirm with the nurse. I called back several times throughout the week as well as texting them. I made a 2 hour drive the night before, took off of work and pulled my son from school. I brought my son the day of, at 5:30am and waited in the parking lot as instructed. NOBODY came out. NOBODY answered the phone. Finally, at 6:15, they answered the phone to tell me all surgeries had been cancelled for today. And their excuse is that they didn't confirm with me Friday, so I should have known. If I had some that, they would have charged me money. They do it? No big deal. Terrible!! And their next appointment is not for another month. Shameful!

Fantastic experience: Best dental surgery center. No fear here as they explain everything so well . They care about updating the family and calming the children. My daughter had successful experiences here and her teeth look and feel so much better So thankful for all the Staff here !

The staff was amazing, from the first point of contact via phone, to our in person appointment. The doctors were amazing, they explained his treatment plan, possible procedures that would take place depending on the evaluation. I felt reassured and satisfied with the outcome.

Positive experience: Had a great experience with the nurse, anesthesiologist, and dentist. However, the way the office schedule patients is absurd. They tell you to keep the whole day open, and you won’t know your appointment time until the day before, plus a $50 deposit is needed even though you don’t know the time. Could be as early as 5:30am or as late as 11am. I also received a call from them the morning of my appointment trying to change my appointment time. They requested I come earlier, or my appointment would be delayed by 30 mins. When your child is fasting that 30 min delay can be rough. So we arrived a bit earlier as requested and my husband dropped us off so he can take our other children to the babysitter. Two of the three office girls were understanding and had no issue. The other office girl who I wasn’t even speaking with jumped in and emphasized that my vehicle cannot leave the facility or my deposit will not be returned. I explained to her that they already changed my appointment time to earlier, I live a hour and a half away, and we are doing what we need to do to get my daughter to her appointment at a time they changed. As I’m signing papers at the counter she correct the other two girls in front of me - very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and incredible doctors made the whole experience amazing. My little one was seen for multiple procedures and came out feeling minimal pain. She is toothache free and can finally eat! Highly recommended and give parents confidence their babies are in great hands!

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old som had some serious dental that needed to be done with local anesthesia. This whole team and staff were so sweet, kind and understanding or all my worries and fears about this big procedure. They were so nice to my son from the moment we went in until o was driving him home. I will be telling EVERYONE about my wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back for anything needed in the future.

Fantastic experience: I took in my daughter for dental surgery. They did an amazing job with my daughter. They made her feel very comfrable and make her feel engage to the enviroment and the mask she would be wearing which to be I believe it is great due to dental visits always being scary. I was very concerned due to it being the first time but the dentist, medical assistants and anesticiologist were great and explained everything so good and were always on top of any question we as parents had and updates. I would recomend 100%, just a little heads up take sweaters if you are a very cold person because it is very cold which I know its totally normal for a dental office and surgeries.

Positive experience: We originally scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction for just one tooth. Two hours before the procedure, after calling the front desk to confirm, we were told, very last minute, that they were actually planning to remove all four. This was never communicated to us in advance, and we hadn’t planned for that level of recovery (especially with sports tournaments coming up), so we asked to reschedule. The staff we spoke to on the phone were extremely rude. Tanya from billing was very unhelpful, and another person hung up on us multiple times and dodged our calls entirely. Despite the lack of communication on their end, they charged a $100 deposit and gave no explanation. Thankfully, when we followed up a few days later, Elia and Veronica were very kind, professional, and respectful, they listened and ultimately refunded the deposit. We did not go through with the procedure. Just a heads-up to anyone booking here: double-confirm exactly what’s being done, and I’d strongly recommend not leaving your credit card on file.

Negative experience: While the clinical care that my son received was without issue, the billing office staff is by far the WORST I’ve ever encountered. We were referred to this office for my son to complete a dental procedure under anesthesia with specifics on which teeth had issues. When I called the office for a cost estimate three weeks before the procedure they said they “cannot give an estimate.” After multiple calls I was finally able to narrow down to a ballpark of the range. This should’ve been my RED FLAG in dealing with them. After multiple phone calls that were unanswered (specifically asking for the office supervisor), emails where they have no clue what’s going on, and finally where they straight out lied to the referring provider when their office tried to help me obtain the simple info that I needed……the center’s tax ID and specific type of invoice requested directly by my insurance. Unless you’re doing all cash payments for the services, I would go as far away as possible from this office for care!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with North County Dental! They did an amazing job with my son — very professional, and they really know how to work with kids. His teeth look so much better, and they handled a difficult situation with care and skill. The only thing I’d note is that sometimes the information given over the phone doesn’t always match what’s sent via text or email, which can be a bit confusing (more so in reference to how many adults can come). But overall, the customer service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place to others! Surgeons, Anesthesiologist, Dental hygienist all of them were great and they’re very patient and they explain everything to you very thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: I love this place ! Everyone was amazing from front office, the nurse, to the doctors! They really do make you feel comfortable and ease off any anxiety. The dentist was amazing she explained everything step by step was very efficient. The anesthesiologist was amazing I love how he treated my son and how he explained everything perfectly. We were really nervous to have to put our son down for general anesthesia but as I mentioned as soon as we walked in they were there to support us through the whole process! Hands down a great place to bring your kids for dentals work. It’s not an easy process for parents but they make sure they make the patients and their parents have a great experience.

Negative experience: They take a long time to take you back for the appointment. My sister waited two hours in the waiting room before they took her back for her wisdom teeth appointment. Ridiculous amount of time to wait especially when someone else has to wait to take you home. My other sister had her wisdom teeth at a different doctors office in Encinitas and she waited 10 minutes and the doctor sent the prescription for pain meds and antibiotics before the appt so she can have them ready and called her that evening to make sure she was okay. Here my sister was given a paper prescription after the appt and then when the pharmacy would not fill the prescription, we called and texted 3 different phone numbers that were on the discharge paperwork multiple times from 2-6pm and the pharmacy called and we did not receive a call back at all that day. We then had to call again the next morning where they finally picked up. Honestly very disappointed in the service especially since it wasn’t the first time they took awhile to take her back and lacked overall communication with us.

Negative experience: We wanted to do ceramic for the closest teeth to the front of my sons smile we were told it was extra we would pay out of pocket we were ok with that but Dr. Johnson recommended not to do it because she would have a hard time putting them in and she advice they wouldn’t last long and would crack.i felt like she didn’t understood our needs or my sons needs i would not recommend at all staff was nice the nurses were attentive but not Dr Johnson. Wish you the best

Fantastic experience: I can be a pretty anxious person. I’ve never experienced any form of surgery, or anesthesia before. I came in anxious and the team recognized that and had great communication on everything I would experience. They made the experience personal by making small talk which I appreciated because of how anxious I was. I truly appreciate their empathy and wouldn’t have been able to go through with getting my wisdom teeth out if it wasn’t for them. I am thankful for the personalized care I received and my healing process is going well so far!

Fantastic experience: My son needed emergency dental work after falling and fracturing his front teeth. Dr Rashedi and Dr Pinesett were the best and took amazing care of him during non working hours. It’s really rare to find a dentist that will go out of her way to treat your child on a Sunday at 6am. Thank you Dr Rashedi for going out of your way making sure my son was well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: My son always gets treated like a celebrity when he comes into the office for his check ups and procedures. The staff is extremely patient, kind, and very accommodating to his needs. As parents, we worry any time he needs to be put under general anesthesia, but their reassurance that they will take care of him and frequent updates give us total peace of mind.

Negative experience: They pack in special needs kids like sardines in a can. It is quite terrifying and disgusting to treat them like chickens in a hut. They are special needs kids and require special treatment. They will assign you an appointment time but also assign numerous other kids to the same time, mind you they haven’t ate due to the surgery and the original time was 10:30AM which is already late enough without eating or drinking and then they dont honor your appt time. These people have no idea how to treat special needs kids, shameful!

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Dr Nasseri and his 2 assistant held my daughter down and tried to force the IV into her arm. She had a complete panic attack and ran from the facility. They did not assess her needs and did not offer any alternative medication to calm her like we were told they would do. Report to ADA filled!
