Fantastic experience: My visit went very well. Friendly staff, helpful in every step. Dr Modi did an excellent job. I did not feel any pain at all. The worst experience was the many uncomfortable Xrays taken first. Otherwise a piece of cake. :)

Negative experience: Terrible experience. I had a referral to see an endodontist ..so I made and appointment to see one in my network that’s treats at Aspen. Upon arriving I never saw him but a was given an appointment and X-rays with a Dr Modi which was un necessary since I already have a referral from my dentist. They asked how old the X-rays were that I brought ..I said 90 days and that my plan ( that Dr Modi) is an authorized provider only allows these X-rays every 5 years. He knows that but did the X-rays anyway. I have still not seen the endo and they refuse to let me have an appointment unless ai give them 4500.00 up front. This will not happen and I will not pay 1 penny for the un necessary services I received that day.

Fantastic experience: Super great experience. I was literally 23 hours and 50 minutes late for my appointment (was yesterday) and they squeezed me in on the spot. Dentist was thorough and honest. They were a bit on the high end as far as pricing, but the financial expert gave me many options to choose from.

Negative experience: First of all, I waited over an hour after my appointment time to get seen. While I was in the waiting room six other people who were walk-ins got seen before I did and I was going in for an emergency dental appointment but still was not seen before any of the walking in’s. Then when I went back there, they insisted on taking dental x-rays which was Fine the lady who did my dental x-rays was probably the most competent person in there. Sad I didn’t grab her name before I left. She’s the only reason person who deserves the one star on this rating. Then I was in the chair waiting for the dentist he came in. He barely looked at the problem area I was going in there for, he took a look at my mouth for less than five seconds and then said that there was nothing he could do. He couldn’t figure out the pain and I just need to go back and see my dental surgeon and said I needed to wait there for someone to come grab me, then this other lady from the front desk came to grab me and she is there I guess to tell me that I had gingivitis and I needed to do this $3000 treatment for all of these things and that she showed me the stock video of the dangers of gingivitis and teeth decay and I was shocked that the dentist didn’t say anything, but this other front desk lady was apparently diagnosing me with this, very unprofessional of the dentist to not diagnose me, and it made me very uncomfortable overall because she took me out of the examination room to show me this video about having gingivitis, and it was very embarrassing that I was back out by the waiting room watching this video in front of everybody, instead of in the privacy of an examination room, which I feel like these things should be discussed and I went to my normal dentist to follow up because I don’t wanna have gingivitis and my dentist confirmed that I don’t have gingivitis and I don’t have even a single sign of gingivitis, and that there’s no way someone can determine that I have gingivitis from looking in my mouth for less than Five seconds it seems more like a money grab for peoples dental insurance. They are very insistent on you getting dental x-rays even if you already have them. they do not take good care of you. They are lying to you. They don’t even address your problems. My normal dentist was able to see the issue in my mouth within the first minute of him examining and actually looking at my issue and said that I didn’t even need to see the surgeon and that he could get it fixed and I’m already feeling better a day later. this place is an absolute scam. Please be warned. Do not go here. I honestly wasn’t even gonna come on here and do a review but they have been emailing me and texting me and begging me to review them so here is the real truth of how terrible it is and this is the review that they’ve been begging for I bet that they care more about their Google review stars than they do the patients that they see in office.

Fantastic experience: Wait time was acceptable. Everything was on point. The young lady who did the x-rays did a tremendous job, she was quick and precise. The dentist was very kind and helpful, he answered all my questions and I got the feeling I was in good hands. Last but not least, Kelsey Swanson, the receptionist… in all my years I have never met a receptionist that that fit this role so perfectly. Going to the dentist is never fun… she is an easy going person with a bright personality, and after a long day of work her positive energy may very well have been the highlight of my day.

Negative experience: My appointment time was 0845 so I showed up at 0825 in case I needed to complete some paperwork. I was told to sign in and have a seat when I approached the counter so I did. At 0845 I returned to the counter to ask if the office had received my referral and X-rays and I was informed they had not so I called my dentist and asked for another email to Aspen dental with my referral and X-rays. About 0900 I returned to the counter and asked if there was any new patient paperwork I needed to complete. The receptionist said yes and handed me a tablet so I completed three forms. At 0930 they finally called me back and took additional X-rays. Bottom line is I was very disappointed and did not feel valued as a customer or as a patient.

Negative experience: My wife and I came in for a walk in because she was in immense pain from a broken tooth. When we walked up to the receptionists they told us that they do not take walk ins but it is clearly listed online and on their building that walk-ins and emergencies are accepted. Why would you advertise it if you’re just going to waste our time?

Fantastic experience: My mother, who has dementia and is living in a nursing home had broken her lower dentures. I was able to bring them in and they were able to repair them in about an hour. I so appreciated this! Everyone there was kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: In the midst of my world falling apart around me, my tooth on my plate fell off. I frantically searched for a place that could get me in right away as I work in sales and refuse to walk around without one of my front teeth. Aspen dental in Miamisburg could get me in first thing in the morning. I don't have insurance so I had no idea what to expect. On the way there, I had a breakdown, I'm telling you, the tears WOULDN'T STOP. I filled out my forms crying, I get my x-rays crying, my mouth is wide open with the doctor examining me.. CRYING LIKE A DAMN BABY. (The past week was mentally and physically exhausting and the tooth thing just broke the straw). The staff was so caring and attentive. Especially Monica, the office manager. I poured all of my problems onto this poor "stranger" and she was nothing short of an Angel. Usually, when my plate breaks, it takes at least a week to get back. Aspen Dental's team had it ready THE SAME DAY! $29 for the exam and x-rays, $58 a month, and a care team out of this world, had not only my smile back but my faith in humanity restored all in the same day. I'm so grateful for you guys. God put me in your hands for a reason. Thank you for going above and beyond for little ol' me. I will forever recommend this office. Love & Light, Jennifer C.

Negative experience: When I walked in 2 customers were already complaining about them before I even got in in the waiting room and I was already concerned as they were very rude towards the employees and customers .. not me as much just made me wait way too long when I could’ve went somewhere else and they made me wait a very long time over 2 hours when the appointment was around 10 and didn’t help my issue as I went to another dental and had no problem. Didn’t have the best experience with this place.. disappointed because I heard nothing, but good things.. I just ended up having a bad experience. Just was in a lot of pain to get a tooth pull and I just could’ve went somewhere else to help me during the time I had and the other dental helped me right away. It’s okay though

Negative experience: Charged me 2k for a cleaning for whatever reason. Hit me on my credit score for 50 points since I did not pay it. All for a standard cleaning. They finally admitted they were wrong and things got taken care of. Tried scheduling a new appointment and they are trying to charge me another 2k for a cleaning.

Negative experience: These people tried to upsell services amounting to 14,000 instead of providing the service requested, which was an extraction. Then told me to extract a tooth would be $700 in addition to the insurance.

Christina Overholtz Published on Google 3 months ago

Negative experience: $7,500 for two root canals is a joke kept trying to get me to get some floss and kept 42 hundred dollars. And told me I had to have caps on several teeth that i've had fillings on for years. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY! also had to wait 50 mins to be seen. Thank hou but ill pass!!!

simone Vaughn Published on Google 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: My daughter was nervous about getting her wisdom teeth removed, especially since our insurance did not cover general anesthesia. Dr. Faith Ajiboye was kind and reassuring. They allowed us to ask any questions we had and did not make us feel rushed. The extraction went smooth and my daughter felt very well taken care of. The entire staff was very friendly. I would recommend Dr Ajiboye to any of my friends.

Negative experience: DO NOT come here if you have an emergency!!!! I do not want to fill out papers while I’m in excruciating pain. They also expect you to give up your whole savings account just to get some relief. No thank you!

Ben Fields Published on Google 4 months ago

Positive experience: Friendly staff and service. I have dentures i went here for a walk in consultation. I told them up front I was here for an upper arch. They done a an x-ray. Took me to a room and immediately started. Pushing snap in dentures. I just wanted a upper arch. Then to no avail quoted a full set of dentures. When I said just the upper again. They give me the highest price right off the top. I understand your in business to make money. But come on $3,000.00 for my uppers. That absolutely ridiculous. Snap in dentures 38,000.00. Nuvia quoted me 48,000.00 for their implants. What happened to the customer is right. You know if they would have started with talking options. Maybe have a price chart to show with different options. I would have probably went with the mid grade upper arch If I had been given a price and options. Don't get me wrong they were very kind. Thank you Aspen I'll keep you in mind

Negative experience: I was extremely frustrated with my experience here. I scheduled an appointment online the night before and arrived a few minutes late but well within the arrival window. I came in and the receptionist told me to sign in on a clipboard. I did so, and then it was another 30 minutes before anyone talked to me again. I then had to check in on an iPad. Apparently signing in on the clipboard was not the same as checking in. I don’t know if this long of a wait is standard, but it was extremely frustrating because I had an hour and a half from the scheduled time of my appointment until I had to be at work. I figured this was a generous enough amount of time for a visit to the dentist but it ended up taking almost 2 hours. I was lucky that my manager was understanding about me being late! This was my first time going to this Aspen Dental - I scheduled with them because I had an emergency situation and they could fit me in the soonest of anywhere I saw - and sadly it will be my last. I will note that I gave two stars because the facility was clean and everyone was polite and patient, and my actual time in the dental chair went perfectly fine. There just seemed to be little regard for the patient’s time.

Negative experience: Had insurance. Went in for what I thought would be a filling. Fleeced me for $125 out of pocket before they would do an exam. About 1-2 hours later I left after being told that my tooth problem would cost me over $1900!!! They try to convince you that you just have to have their treatment. I felt like I was being robbed. Should have checked Google Reviews before wasting my time with these people.

Negative experience: Called in Monday morning to schedule an appointment for a tooth removal. Gave all necessary information and insurance. Appointment was for Tuesday at 2pm. Showed up, gave insurance information again, waited for 30 mins before walking back up to the desk to see what was taking so long. Was told they were still trying to get ahold of my insurance. After 15 more minutes they called me back up to the desk, to say the same thing. They're waiting on my insurance. Asked why they didn't let me know that from the beginning or this morning since they've been trying to run my insurance since Monday when I called. Only response was sorry. Called my old family dentist, they had me in next day and didn't even spend 5 mins in the waiting room. Insurance was approved before i even walked through the door. WILL NEVER USE OR REFER this location.

Liam Wood Published on Google 5 months ago

Negative experience: While the staff are kind, professional, and knowledgeable, the wait times can be very long even if you show up on-time. More importantly, I was dissatisfied with the treatment for an abcess under one of my teeth. I didn't mind needing to go to a different location to receive a root canal even if it was frustrating. What I am concerned about, however, is how the filling went following that. I was not scheduled to receive a dental crown even though my tooth had been filed down and now has an uncomfortable grainy texture. Even with at-home care, my jaw and gums still hurt under my tooth. While I found the dental cleaning enjoyable and efficient, I would not recommend Aspen for dental emergencies. Good, friendly people, but there is some notable negligence.

Fantastic experience: My first time to Aspen Dental, and they made me feel so comfortable, and cared for! They had my insurance figured into my bill before I even left my appointment, so amazing. They will be my main dentist moving forward. If you have been avoiding the dentist, and a bit afraid to get back "in the chair", like I was, then Aspen Dental is for you my friend.

Fantastic experience: I was able to make an appointment with Aspen Dental on Miamisburg Centerville Road in Centerville Ohio due to their 24/7 emergency dental appointment service. This has been one of my best decisions in 2025. From the moment that I arrived I experienced complete professionalism from the signing in to meeting Dr Fischer. As you can imagine I was filled with anxiety yet the caring demeanor of the dental technician eased my anxiety. Dr Fischer is awesome! Aspen is exceptional in offering clients financial options to fund their dental needs. I highly recommend Aspen Dental Centerville Ohio

Karla Pereira Published on Google 7 months ago

Negative experience: ⸻ I am extremely disappointed with Dayton Aspen Dental at the Miamisburg location. Their service has been completely unprofessional and unacceptable. On two separate occasions, they mishandled my family’s cleaning appointments. The first time, I arrived and they had no record of my appointment. The second time, on Saturday, 11/08/2025, I showed up, and the office was closed. I received no notification—no call, email, or text—that they would be closed. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is inexcusable. My family and I will never return to any of their locations, and I strongly advise others to consider this before scheduling with them.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience of my life. Went in for new patient xrays and teeth cleaning. Xrays hurt like hell and never have I ever had my teeth scraped so much before. My gums were bleeding from that and some gum poking test they do. I have never had something like this happen before. There was so much blood on the gauze they used. Will not be coming back. I am actually a bit traumatized and it made me dislike dentists more that I already to.

D BucksFan Published on Google 8 months ago

Negative experience: STAY AWAY I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Aspen Dental was so troubling that I feel compelled to share. I scheduled what I believed was an emergency appointment with an independent endodontist, only to discover it was Aspen Dental. Despite arriving early, submitting x-rays, and completing paperwork, I was subjected to a painful and excessive round of new x-rays. Instead of receiving immediate care, I was presented with a $15,000 treatment plan—without any prescriptions or relief for the pain I came in for. I asked to prioritize the urgent issue: extracting one tooth and possibly performing a root canal and crown on another. I was told this couldn’t be done unless I committed to one of two full treatment plans. After multiple follow-ups, I eventually received antibiotics and my x-rays from the regional manager, Adrienne Taylor—but never the promised pain medication. Weeks later, when my tooth cracked again, I attempted to give Aspen another chance at a different location. Unfortunately, I was met with more unprofessionalism. Sandra at the Beavercreek office was dismissive and argumentative over the phone, contradicting diagnoses made by licensed dentists while reviewing my x-rays—despite not being a dentist herself. When I arrived for my emergency appointment, Sandra interrupted the front desk staff and refused to let the dentist see me unless I paid a $120 upfront fee. I have insurance, no outstanding balance, and had never been charged a “visit fee” before. She knew this was an emergency and had all my insurance details already. I ended up having to go to the ER for antibiotics and pain relief, missing more work and enduring another weekend of intense pain while searching for a more professional and empathetic provider. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and follow-through was appalling. I have documentation and witnesses to support everything I’ve shared. I strongly advise avoiding Aspen Dental locations in the Greater Miami Valley area. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. I do not recommend them under any circumstances.

Fantastic experience: Aspen Dental Miamisburg got me together and I appreciate that. I’ve been dealing with bad dentist all year. I was supposed to get my tooth pulled but the clinic I was going to just all of a sudden closed and cancelled all appointments. My tooth broke over the weekend so I called Monday and got in on Wednesday didn’t have to wait six months for an appointment AND they serviced me same day. Staff was friendly and professional. Tens across the board.

Negative experience: 2 thumbs down! 0 stars! I had to select 1 to post this. Absolutely horrible experience. I should have went to Reddit and Google reviews prior to scheduling an appointment. Wait time is extremely long. While was waiting I saw two different women return their dentures! One lady was in tears. Not a good place, not concerned with your dental help, and a complete waste of time and good money. Dr. Modi’s has zero soft skills. I got the sense he was running a chop shop. Don’t go if you have a choice. Save your peace of mind, time; and money.

Negative experience: I made an appointment here as a new patient and expected what most people would at a dentist appointment.. a cleaning. Instead, I paid a $50 copay for the dentist to look at my teeth for maybe 30 seconds and then tell me I need a cleaning, but unfortunately, they don’t even have a hygienist at this location. I was told I’d have to schedule at a different office, which means another appointment and another $50 copay, just to get the cleaning I thought I was getting in the first place. It honestly feels like I paid $50 just to be told what I already knew. Really disappointing and not the best way to make a first impression.

Negative experience: I'll start by saying I've never gone to Aspen Dental, but my dad does. He called me today so I could look into something. He went here for xrays, which is covered by his insurance. They gave him an estimate for fixing his dentures and getting them cleaned up. He DID NOT agree to anything and just took the estimate they provided him, which was just over $4000. Come to find out they charged his credit card $4000 when he never authorized it. I told him to make sure he calls them when they open to discuss why they charged him when he didn't agree to anything and in the meantime I had him call his credit company and they started a dispute and will also be reaching out to your office when you're open. Do not work with these people, they are shady.

Tammy Law Published on Google 10 months ago

Negative experience: The office staff gave us wrong information regarding our insurance ( at the appointment ). Our insurance pays considerably more than what they quoted me. Basically wanted a large upfront fee. We decided to go elsewhere. Our insurance reached out to them and left a voicemail that they pay 100%. Also offered to spend more money on implants, my husband who had the appointment explained there was having no trouble at all. Just wanted new dentures

Melissa Johnston Published on Google 11 months ago

Negative experience: I decided to try Aspen because it was close and took my insurance. I regret it! The dentist was absolutely cold and completely indifferent. He decided before I even spoke to him that I should get implants. He wouldn't even entertain anything else. It felt like a scam. Then I was passed off to the finance person. Even though I told the dentist I couldn't afford implants at the moment, thats how they ran the cost anyways. Do not go here if you want care that is caring, compassionate and honest.

Negative experience: I went in on an appointment at 9:00. Just to get one tooth pulled. After the X-ray and seeing the dentist I was sent back to the lobby. After being there a total of an hour and 45 minutes. I was called to an office. She presented me with a paper that said $5,600. She stated I will have to pay 174 to get a tool for today. I was also offered to get a loan from a financial company while being there. It said I qualified for up to $1,200 and that I would need to pay $75 today with a bank card. I didn't have to correct card with me. Last she said I didn't have insurance as of PPO. When I showed her that I do have it she said that it must doesn't cover Aspen in this area for some reason. So after 2 hours I left without my tooth being pulled.

Fantastic experience: Booking a dental appointment is always scary for me because I always wait for the last moment. I was in desperate need of a dentist and I was totally in luck because Aspen was in my nextwork with insurance and they had an opening. From the young lady at the front desk to the tech who did my xrays I was treated wonderfully. Dr. Brian was so kind and informative about everything that he was planning. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything before I left which doesn't always happen. I was actually able to have my extraction scheduled for the very next day so I am happy with the efficiency of the dental clinic and its staff. I did have to choose this clinic which is a little farther from home but I am blessed that it worked this way. I will definitely be recommending this location to anyone who needs dental care.

Positive experience: As it turns out, my dental plan is not in network. Which i found out when I showed up to my appointment. AND was told the office manager cancelled my appointment the day before and did not call or text me. Paid full price for my appointment only to find out they wanted over $5,000. Yes, US dollars. For something that when in network would be $1600 or less. Can you say never.

After waiting 20 minutes for the treatment counselor had to leave and have her call me at home. Office run down, monitor didn’t work in the room, equipment taped together, chair in the x-ray room had rips in it. Would not have any work done here. Also they showed in my insurance as in network, but have not been with them since last December. If I would have known that I wouldn’t have even gone there.

Fantastic experience: I went in to have a repair crack ed frontal tooth and all I got was a evaluation however my insurance allowance was $3,000 and they only accepted $2,000 I was offered a chance to get credit on my account which I refuse I only wanted the gift the crack tooth repair and that was it but they took x-rays and then a full exam and then they came up with a bill for about 5,000 so thinking about looking elsewhere cuz I wanted to be able to use the insurance to get the correct tube repair because every time I lip track against that tooth there's a possibility that it could cut it so this is something I need to attend to right now other than that the service was good but the building process was a little different than what I was expecting.

Positive experience: The people were nice, but online they say their basic dentures are 350 and when I went it they said they were over 2000 per set

Negative experience: I came here in Feb2024 for a routine visit. I was told I would need a filling. I made the appointment, paid for the service, and got the filling. 1 year later, I am seeing a new dentist since I moved and they show me my comparison pictures from Feb2024 to the ones I took that day. THE FILLING WAS NOT FILLED. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: Best Aspen Dental I’ve been to yet ! Was worried with moving that I wouldn’t have a dental practice to take over my care but when I had a dental issue this week Aspen got me in quickly and treated me so kindly throughout the whole process. The staff are some of the nicest people ever and I will 100% be going back for any future dental needs ! Thank you guys so much !!

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with finding a dentist all my life that will take my insurance and not charge me some surprise fee after. I have had some teeth pain for quite a while and have been nervous to go see a dentist. I ended up calling this Aspen in particular and the people at this location made me feel at ease. I ended up getting the most amazing services by my dentist, the dental assistants, and the office staff. And guess what... NO SURPRISE FEES!!! I will be recommending this location to everyone!!!

Fantastic experience: My husband was seen at this location yesterday. The entire experience was wonderful. We had little to no wait in the lobby. Once called back the assistants and the dentist were so nice and explained everything so well. They answered all the questions we had which made us feel so much better. After we were done seeing the doctor Sondra went over everything and answered so many questions as well. She helped get us approved for financing and we are on our way to getting my husband all fixed. Every single one of them made us feel comfortable with being at the dentist. My husband and I both thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Patience was amazing. Got my x-rays and answered all of my questions super quick and was super nice. Running on 0 sleep I cannot remember the Dentists name that did the wisdom tooth extraction (sorry). He was the epitome of the perfect dentist. I have had horrible experiences with dentists in the past. But today when they said you "might feel some pressure" I did not feel a thing and the wisdom tooth was out. Thank you to all the staff that helped out. A1 team right there.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of major Dental issues that need fixing I've gone years without dental insurance and I finally said enough was enough my first time going there was amazing my first visit was really affordable and it covered all the x-rays needed since I currently don't have insurance everything out of pocket is relatively higher priced I have to have teeth extractions and I'm going to have to have a partial denture replace the teeth I'm missing but I look forward to this journey and to have my smile back the way the doctors and everybody in the team works with you and helps you is amazing I didn't feel judged like I have with other dentist office I can't wait to see you my smile again I was approved for Care Credit to help me cover some of the expenses I'm just going to take a little at a time and work toward my goal

AMI DAYTON Published on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at Aspen Dental in Centerville off and on for years, mainly due to how easy it was to get an appointment. Unfortunately, that convenience has come at a steep cost, quite literally. I’ve lost two permanent teeth under their care, one of which was knocked out by them, only for me to then have to pay for a cap to fix the damage. Most recently, I have recently returned to the Dayton area and a cap they had placed previously randomly fell off. I appreciated that they were able to get me in quickly, but I was required to pay for an “extensive exam” just to have the cap reset, something they had previously done. Today, I called to schedule a cleaning, and was met with rudeness from the moment the phone was answered. I did my best to remain polite, but the conversation quickly spiraled into absurdity. I was told that because no dental plan had been created during the exam I paid for, I couldn’t schedule a cleaning. I asked what the exam was even for, if not to establish a care plan, and was told it was just to reset the cap. When I inquired why a plan wasn’t created at that time, there was no explanation. I was told I would need to come in and speak to a manager to create one, though how a manager, who is not a dentist and has never looked in my mouth, can create a dental treatment plan is beyond me. After decades of dental visits, I have never encountered anything this illogical at any previous dentist office. I even asked if they could just treat me as a new patient so I could move forward with a cleaning and was told no, because I’m already in their system as an existing patient. It’s maddening. I understand that people answering phones often bear the brunt of misplaced frustration. I genuinely try to treat everyone with kindness and respect. But when someone answers the phone with hostility from the jump, how much grace are patients expected to extend? It shouldn’t be this hard to receive basic dental care, especially not after already paying for services. Aspen Dental has made it clear that their priority is billing, not patients. Professionally speaking: this was my final visit, and I will not be back.

Negative experience: I came in a pinch to get my chipped tooth fixed. I have to admit it was not my first choice, but they were able to get me in fast. The composite only lasted less than 24 hours. I would not suggest wasting your time or money on this place.

Negative experience: This office is in network with my dental insurance. At first they said only a portion was covered and made me pay hundreds out of pocket. I later found out they were not supposed to do this and got a refund after multiple phone calls. After that they started sending bills in the mail even though the insurance company insisted the claim had been paid in full. Now, a year later, Aspen is threatening to put me in collections for paid bill. I call them again with my insurance rep on the line and they stall, saying to call back in a month. I warn everyone I know about this place.

Negative experience: 1. Even though I followed their rules and confirmed my appointment by telephone they for some reason cancelled my appointment. When I surprised them by showing up they did manage to accommodate me. 2. After my examination the dentist filled out a form but I had to be seen by the office manager who would give me my proposed cost. Although their website gives several options she gave me a price of only the most expensive option and didn't tell me there were others. When I challenged her she did admit there were others and gave me price of a lesser cost option only when I asked her.

Negative experience: Seems like a scam . I went in there no insurance and they gave me a check up and X-rays was a good deal. Then when they took me to the back they numbed me then got me ready to get my tooth out but before that I had to go in a room see how I was going to pay and sit out in the waiting room for like 30 mins before I went back to get one tooth out. They all was nice but who would say no to them after all that . 380 for one tooth out was crazy and waiting 4 hours for the whole ordeal was even worse . I’ll go any where but there from now on

Fantastic experience: I chose Aspen Dental because I had a denture plate that was broken in half & they have same day repair. The staff were friendly, well educated, and cared about my needs. I got my denture repaired the same day and it looks better than before. I wish I would have gone to them in the past and will be using them for any future dental care.

Negative experience: Called and asked for a cleaning, got scheduled and then went in and paid out of pocket, that I agreed to as my insurance wasn’t in network. They do a really shady thing here where the “exam” is just them looking at your teeth. Normally, every dentist I’ve been to, will clean and exam your teeth the first time you meet them. Unfortunately Aspen breaks it up over 2 appointments and was trying to charge nearly $400 total. I wasted $295 for them to look at my teeth and say they’re perfect. Gonna issue a chargeback cause this was lowkey dumb as hell

Negative experience: Fake dental cleaning appointments. I did schedule a dental cleaning. They took X-rays, Doctor take a look at me performing dental exam. Then they tell me that cleaning should be scheduled for next time and they are booked for 4 months ahead. They told me that cleaning takes 2 appointments: 1st is doctor evaluation and 2nd is actual cleaning. They did not explain it intitially then i scheduled 1st appointment

Negative experience: Please do not schedule with Aspen; they have the rudest and most disgusting people answering the office calls; they talk with so much disrespect and disgust. So unprofessional and disgusting. No one wants to spend their money and be disrespected. Will cancel my appointment before I even go in the office because of that.

Fantastic experience: I have went to several different places to try and get answers on the best treatment plan for me and this was by far the best. I will absolutely be continuing to go here. I forgot to confirm my appointment but Sally at the front desk was so professional and kind and they managed to squeeze me in. Dr. Brian Anyanwu was the most thorough dentist I have ever met. You can tell he really cares about his patients and what is best for them and not just making money. The office manager, Seina was also very thorough and helped explain the financial side of it with insurance etc. at no point did I feel rushed. Even the lady taking my X-rays was so kind. I’m very impressed with this office.

Negative experience: I have had the worse experience with Aspen in Miamisburg ohio first off while in the middle of my procedure the receptionist came in my room asking what everyone wanted for lunch because her dad was buying. Then after the dentist was finished I asked him how to care for them he brushed me off and said someone will explain it to you the aid came in handed me a bag and told me to just take Tylenol I said that's I don't have any medicine to pick up she said no extra strength Tylenol and you'll be fine so the third day after my procedure I go to work almost passed out broke out in a cold sweat my husband had to rush and pick me up and went straight to my dr.office to find out at my pharmacy waiting for me was amoxcillan (antibiotic) and ibuprofen 800mg.. when I went and told them what happened the assistant tells me I don't know why your pharmacy didn't call you. I also told the dentist that they are cutting my gum he never looked in my mouth and proceeded to file them down today is Saturday and I have to endure this pain all weekend and drink chicken broth. I will not recommend Aspen dental in Miamisburg to my enemy they are horrible not what Aspen stands for at all especially in Pascagoula Mississippi.

Fantastic experience: Dentist was very professional & devised a plan that I didn’t think would be doable so I was planning on another route. He said he knew he could make this work better for me & I really appreciated his candor. All in all it was very nice to have someone explain my plan & assure me his plan was the best option for me.

Hanna Bryant Published on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Scheduling was a quick easy phone call, the deal of new patient appointment with x-rays for under $30 is amazing, and the dentist was so nice. He took the time to really answer any questions I had and explained everything they were offering. The financial girl was also very nice and laid out all the options available to me for my treatment plan.

Negative experience: What a joke paided for dentures they say they will adjust them afterwards then she says well you only paid for the least expensive which was not true the top denture I paid for the low end because they said it would be okay the bottom denture I paid for the most expensive because they said that's the one that would need adjustment so then she is going to say in a very friendly manner well you only paid for the cheapest ones then walked out the room so I would never go back the place is a joke

Negative experience: The care I received for a cleaning was excellent. I do not care for Aspen's policy of collecting up front payments for insurance coverage. I have 100% coverage through United Health Care when I called United they even said you shouldn't have to pay any costs with their coverage. I had to contact both United and Aspen on the original visit costs and they were refunded to my credit card. Now I'm going to have to do the same for yesterday's visit. I will be looking for a new dentist January 1st.

Misty Lyons Published on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: I find the staff very friendly and accommodating and I feel taken care of during my visits. I’m only giving 4 stars because they have a policy of X-rays every 6 months which I think is a bit much. Maybe for a person with lots of dental issues but I’ve only had 1 cavity in 46 years of life and didn’t want the extra radiation.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with Aspen Dental, and I didn't even make it to the office! I had an appointment scheduled for the next day, so I called in advance to provide my insurance details. The receptionist or whoever picked up the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was completely uncalled for, and it left me with no confidence in their customer care. I felt so uncomfortable that I immediately canceled my appointment and will cancel the one I had scheduled for my wife immediately after this review. If this is how they treat patients over the phone, I can't imagine what the in-office experience would be like. I wouldn’t recommend Aspen Dental to anyone looking for a welcoming or professional environment.

Positive experience: My hygienist was amazing! Very knowledgeable and thorough! She walked me through every step while making my teeth feel and look super clean. The only bad thing is that they had to reschedule me multiple times ‍♂️

Donald Walker Published on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Not a pleasant experience. It was my initial visit, so just a check up to determine what I would be needing to get done. But the atmosphere from the initial front receptionist set the tone and it wasn’t professional or friendly, the X-ray technician was better personality wise, but devices used inside my mouth were actually painful, and I’ve had oral x-rays several times in my life, this was the most painful ever. The doctor was pleasant, but after a very brief examination he was done and the hygienist did an examination of my gums and then a office manager came to get me and took me to her office and that’s when it became clear that the whole goal was to get as much money out me as possible, and to get me to apply for a loan right there for over $15,000 I left, you got my insurance payment, I lost over an hour of my day and will not be back. I’ll go to a private dentist that provides professional care in a caring manner.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this clinic today. The lady who did my xray was so nice. I also met with Dr Anyanwu who is very knowledgeable and very generous with sharing information I needed to know with me. He answered all my questions and was in no hurry to leave. I already booked for my follow-up visits. I highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth pulled and it was the first time in my life that they got the novocaine dosage perfect. I didn’t feel a thing when they pulled it. They were patient and thorough. The doctor was knowledgeable and put me right at ease. He explained my options and I will be back for routine cleanings and to have an implant put it one day. I’m a coward when it comes to dentists and hasn’t been to one in a few years, they don’t shame you and you are very well treated. The staff was kind and I found out up front what my cost was going to be and what insurance would cover. They offered payment plans if I needed one. The office was clean and I felt safe and at ease. I will be going back every 6 months for cleanings from now on.

Negative experience: Well, I am disappointed with this visit to Aspen Dental today (9/27/24), staffs helped me checked in with good manners and offered me an easy to understand sign in form, but, after some scan tests on my mouth, Doctor showed up to talk to me, I presented my referral order from my Bright Now Dentist and said I wish to see a Periodontist and Doctor said he is not a periodontist and Aspen Dental does not have periodontal service. I said I obviously got misled by your front desk staff who took my phone call 2 weeks ago and said Aspen Dental has periodontal service and booked an appointment for me. This mistake not only waste Aspen time and my time as well as wasting dental insurance resource. I confront the front desk lady and of course, she denied she misled me. Done is done, please do not charge me the doctor's visit as I only had the mouth scan test done, please send the bill to my dental insurance companies. -Jack

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY do NOT go there. I went to get a tooth pulled and a bridge. We had a preset price of $1100 out of pocket, when I showed up for the appointment I was in the chair and already numbed up by a different Dr. When I was told it would now be $3000 out of pocket before they did anymore work ,,, I walked out with a numb face. The Dr at this appointment I was told is the owner ,,, Please go somewhere else UPDATE : The regional manager did call me, she offered no solution at all and just praised the Dr/Owner and how good he is , It was very obvious she was 1 sided about the entire experience,, I ended up just ending the phone call with her, it was pointless to speak to her. Thank you , I hope this saves someone else some trouble.

Negative experience: Just called to try to schedule an appointment with this location for a broken tooth cutting my tongue making it swollen and very painful. The lady that got on the phone was very rude. Its bad enough to be in pain from a broken tooth, then to speak to someone whom you believe will be a professional only to be spoken to with rudeness & attitude makes things worse. Guess ill be looking elsewhere for help.

Fantastic experience: Super thorough review cause theres just a lot of good things to say fr. Came to this location a few years ago for a well overdue molar extraction, different staff but practically identical experiences - both times I had a pretty bad anxiety attack because I just can't dig it which is really why I end up needing so much work done, because I just avoid dentists until the pain keeps me from doing life, but man I tell y'all I just dont think Aspen dental staffs anything less than spectacular, accommodating, efficient, and patient. Each experience I had, then and now, I never felt like I just wanted to get it over with and never come back. Like i really think this time I'm going to actually keep going back. It's awesome cause they do the initial exam, then check over every nook and cranny, discuss areas of main concern, then in both cases, my pain was able to be alleviated with a few quick pokes (a lot of anxiety) but then it was over! And I can drink cold beverages without a straw again! And they come up with your whole dental plan of action right then and there, and I mean mine was pretty pricey cause, like I said, this is literally the ONLY dentist I trust. I mean, I trust them enough that I actually pay the premium for an advantage plan that includes dental but I just wasn't feeling a single dentist on my providers list so I finally just said SKRRRT it, got on the aspen dental website, and was able to even schedule an appointment for the next Monday... AND IT WAS SATURDAY!! just an amazing place for me, probably will be for you too!! You don't even gotta get all the work on your plan done all at once. Like if you ain't got the money at the time you can pick the teeth that you want to work on or can afford to work on and then just progress through your treatment plan. Really great place. That's why this review is like a million characters long. Because they are just THE GREATEST.
