The dental hygienist who treated me was excellent—very thorough with the cleaning, friendly, professional, and made the entire visit comfortable and enjoyable. She took the time to chat with me, explain things clearly, and kept everything moving efficiently. I also want to recognize Ivy, the office manager, who was incredibly welcoming and pleasant while I waited. She made the office feel warm and inviting from the moment I arrived. Overall, the entire staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. I left feeling well cared for and would highly recommend Dr. Parul Dua Makkar’s office to anyone looking for outstanding periodontal care. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: My dentist of many years retired almost a year ago. My worst nightmare happened last week when I broke a tooth and hadn’t found a dentist. The Hygienist from my previous dentist recommended Dr Makkar, and surprisingly she took me in the day I called even though I wasn’t an established patient. She was very comforting and reassuring, and gave me such a thorough exam, like I’ve never had from a dentist before. She is going to be able to save the tooth. She has a wonderful office and staff with state of the art equipment/technology and I’m happy to say that I have found a new home for all my dental needs. I highly recommend her. Negative experience: I came to Family Dental on recommendation from a dental hygenist from my previous dentist who retired and who I knew for 37 years and provided me with exceptional care. I was very disappointed when I came to Family Dental on my first visit and I would not return. The device that was used to take digital X-rays gave me pain on the side of my mouth and one tooth for 10 days. I had no problems with my teeth or jaw before I came.. I don’t like to give anyone a bad review but I have to be honest in my experience. I wish you all a better experience. I will not be returning to Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: Our regular dentist recently retired and he referred us to PDM Family Dental. My husband and I were very pleased with the care we received on our first visit. Ivy, the receptionist was so kind, pleasant and very helpful. We were so happy to see that Michelle our former hygienist had joined the practice. She’s very thorough, considerate and gentle. Dr. Parul was also kind, and thorough. Although it’s further for us to drive, we’ll continue to use PDM for our dental care.

Finally, Dr. Makkar was fantastic. I had a root canal done for the first time in my life. I was a little anxious about it, but everything went great. I didn’t feel a thing and never had any pain afterwards. Dr. Makkar was meticulous, professional, and thorough. She explained everything. I’m very pleased with this practical.

Fantastic experience: This was by far the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I had a dental emergency one evening and was in a lot of pain. They were able to treat me and right away and legit saved my life ( not being dramatic). They were so nice and so professional. I can't express how grateful I am for their work. Dr Makkar is truly wonderful and I felt I was in good hands. The dental assistant made me feel comfortable and at ease even when I was in a lot of pain. And Ivy from the front desk, I can't say enough good things about her. Truly a nice person and really cared. I got an email and phone call the next day to check on how I was doing. This is a great dental practice and I'm so glad they are here in my neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I called on a Saturday afternoon because I was in significant pain and my regular dentist couldn't see me until Monday. They not only got me in right away, but when I needed a specialist to resolve my issue they really went the extra mile to call so they could get me in as quickly as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with their entire team!

Fantastic experience: Been looking for a great Dentist for quite some time since our Dentist retired. Tried another office and they tried to do unnecessary work. Glad I found PMD dental!! Great Experience here, they have been nothing but excellent and honest. I tried them first and decided to bring my kids after. They are great with both Adults and kids. Great experience with cleanings, my son had no issues with getting fillings done, he’s 8 and daughter is 5 with no issues.. Front desk is great too. Believe the good reviews. I did this review on my own, they did not offer me anything for a good review.

They were able to see him the NEXt Day ... I followed him to his dentist appointment and switched because of the receptionist getting things done in a timely matter and with such care . Fantastic experience: Dr Makkar, Ivy and Sandra (part of the staff) are people that my wife and I felt like family. Like we know them for many years! During an emergency Dr Makkar called me (I’m not a patient. I found her on google while desperate seeking medical advice) and she calmly and professionally was able to tell me on the phone how to mitigate the problem at hand. Under 10 mins. What a wonderful human being and professional!! We will consider changing dentists as the one I have (or had) was unable call me nor assist at all during an emergency. Their emergency service told me to go in when they are open. Two days from my initial contact. Thank you Dr Makkar!! Anna and I love you !

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! I hadn’t been to a dentist in a few years since my previous dentist moved and no one there made me feel shamed or embarrassed for going so long. Everyone there is super friendly and nice! Very easy to get along with. The hygienist , Chris, was actually able to get stains out of my teeth that my previous dentist office wasn’t able to do. I highly recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: This is yy far the best dental office that I have ever been to where I felt super welcome super Calm anxiety minimized to nothing. I absolutely 1000%. Recommend this place to families, especially to anyone have any emergency problems. They were able to get us in and out without an appointment, especially on the weekend before holiday. Loved every person in there. They definitely have clients for life.

Fantastic experience: Went there for an emergency for pain in my wisdom teeth. I called at 2am in the morning and the receptionist answered right away saying I can come in at 12pm today for a consult and see if they can fix my pain. An hour later they extracted 1 of my wisdom teeth and gave me referral for my other wisdom tooth. Quickest dentist appointment I ever had. Will definitely go back to them for future dentist related issues.
