I was nervous since I have not been to the dentist in a very long time ( I'm talking years). They made me feel at ease and no one made me feel bad for not having been to the dentist in a long time. They addressed all of my issues, and I am in the process of getting back on track with my dental health. I will be going to her from now on, and keeping up with my visits to ensure this never happens again. I'm just sad I waited so long and lived with the pain as long as I did before going to this office.

Negative experience: ZERO STARS Nothing has been submitted to NYS Workers Compensation for treatment plan. Have been trying for several months to obtain records from April 2024. We have repeatedly requested the records in writing and by leaving multiple messages with no response to any of them. I guess the doctor would prefer to be subpoenaed and have a judge compel her to turn over the records, rather than providing us with our own medical records.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been extremely happy with the entire team at the Kate Brayman dental offices. They’ve made excellent recommendations to help improve my teeth/smile and have also been considerate of my budget. I appreciate their hard work.

Negative experience: This is not a review of Dr. Brayman, who I found to be a very competent and professional dentist. DR. BRAYMAN NO LONGER WORKS AT THIS OFFICE, AND THE STAFF IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I received many text reminders that my appointment with Dr. Brayman was on a Tuesday at 2 pm. I arrived early and the receptionist told me Dr. Brayman was out due to an emergency. Then a few minutes later the office manager told me that Dr. Brayman no longer worked there, but they had a "temporary dentist." All the signs and all the promotional material are in Dr. Brayman's name. It wasn't until I had already left the office that the manager told me that there was a temporary dentist available. This is fraud -- failing to tell clients that Dr. Brayman worked there, and then doing the bait and switch with a "temporary dentist." The staff was also rude to me and wrongfully accused me of insulting the receptionist. If they had been honest from the beginning, and offered me the services of the "temporary dentist" I would have been unhappy but I would have taken their offer. But the staff at first lied about Dr. Brayman being out for an "emergency." Do not go to this "temporary dentist" if you are not advised that Dr. Brayman is no longer the dentist. ------------------ PLEASE NOTE: The response supposedly from Dr. Brayman is a boilerplate response used for all negative reviews. Where is Dr. Brayman? The staff sends texts in her name. Why doesn't office come clean? Please have the real Dr. Brayman respond instead of canned, boilerplate responses.

Negative experience: I would give ZERO stars if I could! Dr. Brayman said she can fix my crowded teeth. She was very persuasive. I showed up for my first appointment expecting to receive my first set of trays, as I was told by her staff, and start wearing them. I was wrong!! After my arrival, without ANY explanation, Dr. Brayman had me seated in the chair, picked up a burr and asked me to open my mouth. I was confused and asked her what is she going to do? She looked at me like I'm an imbecile, and told me that of course, she need to make spaces between my teeth. She made GASHES! Now my teeth look like Stonehenge! Looking back, I should have gotten up and left, but I trusted my doctor! It only took her 10 minutes or less to destroy the shape of my teeth, and now I have teeth that are misshapen, curved, gouged, missing corners and don't look like my teeth. I left this practice. New orthodontist asked me if Dr. Brayman used machete on my teeth! It will take at least 10 months to undo the damage, no guarantees, plus bonding to restore shape of my teeth. Her staff is fine, she doesn't deserve them.

Fantastic experience: I had an enjoyable experience visiting Dr. Brayman. Everyone in the office was very friendly and x-rays were done all within the same room as the dental cleaning so there was no need to move around.They also provided a nice hand mask and warmer/massager machine during the appointment. Fantastic experience: Dr Kate Brayman, DDS dental practice is not your typical cold and bleak dental office. It felt like I was walking into a spa!! The optics emphasized the tranquility which followed me into the examination room. While I was sitting in the chair I was surrounded of images of tropical beaches and scenery. The hygienist Theresa covered my hands in lotion and placed inside these warm gloves. Throughout the procedure both Theresa and the doctor made sure I wasn’t in discomfort and that I was at ease. The whole experience (which I never called at another dentist) was very inviting. Dr Brayman the hygienist and staff were warm and friendly. If you’re looking for a new dentist Dr Brayman practice is the place to go!

I didn’t expect to have an absolute blast at the dentist but Theresa made my entire experience so comfortable - she literally put moisturizing gloves on to wear through the cleaning and x-rays! Dr. Brayman was great, she did the cleaning herself and gave me thorough feedback on my gum health and maintaining good habits, which my former dentist used to leave to the hygienist. The office is meticulously clean and beautifully decorated, which also makes the entire experience that much more pleasant. Adorable goody bag to take home too, 10/10.

Their entire team is the ideal balance of professional and fun. They take your dental concerns as seriously as you do while also making sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. They really take the time to make sure you understand your options and what the next steps are. I sought Dr. Brayman out specifically for Invisalign and I could not be happier with the results and more importantly the experience. The ambiance of the office is immaculate and I think it’s time you give them a visit to find out for yourself!

Negative experience: This review should have been done a few years ago. My current dentist is working to correct all of the work Dr. Brayman did in my mouth when I went to her Manhattan Office. All crowns she did have failed (they were sealed incorrectly), and the implant she did also failed (implant was too big). When I called her new office to mention the implant had failed, her receptionist interrogated me and essentially accused me of not taking care of my teeth. I am now paying thousands of dollars to fix work she already charged me thousands of dollars to do. Dr. Brayman will charm you. Her office will be modern and spotless and she’ll hardly make you wait to see her. But don’t let that fool you into thinking she understands dentistry. She is the worst dentist I’ve ever had.

Negative experience: I received two root canals and crowns in short succession in 2015 from Kate Brayman at her previous location in Manhattan. She specifically made note that other less skilled dentists crowns will create a black line at your gum line over time, but not hers. Sure enough a black line has appeared and grown worse each year on both crowns she did. Every time I see it I remember how she went out of her way to say this.
