Fantastic experience: Always friendly, lovely office, and AMAZING staff and, of course, Dr. Poldek is the best.

Fantastic experience: I had a pretty bad case with a tooth fracture and abscess but Dr. Poldek and his staff were above and beyond caring. It took awhile to get me numbed up but Dr. Poldek was very patient. I was also very impressed with Emily who had to take my blood for a bone graph procedure, having small veins I am used to getting bruised up when giving blood, but she was so thorough, gentle and kind. I don’t love going to the dentist but being able to go somewhere where the staff is amazing and they have the best technology makes it easier.

Fantastic experience: Dearest Gentle Reader, It is with the greatest urgency that I must report upon an occurrence so extraordinary, so wholly unexpected, that society itself may scarcely believe the tale. I recently presented myself to Poldek Family Dental, there to submit to that most necessary of indignities: the cleaning of one’s teeth. I must confess to a transgression most unbecoming: it had been many years since I last submitted myself to such an appointment. Yes, Gentle Reader. Years. I shall offer no defense before the court of public opinion and can only beg that the ton show mercy. Thus, having neglected this particular duty for an embarrassingly considerable span of time, I had prepared myself for the customary scraping, prodding, and perhaps even some well-deserved suffering. And then there was Sir Tony, the hygienist. Good heavens. Never has a gentleman wielded dental instruments with such delicacy. His hand was so gentle, his manner so composed, and his attention so exceedingly thorough that I soon found myself in a state of tranquility more befitting an afternoon upon a chaise longue than a dental chair. Indeed, Gentle Reader, I very nearly fell asleep. Yes. During a dental cleaning. After years without one. One can only imagine the scandal. And yet Sir Tony, undisturbed by the astonishing degree of serenity he had wrought, continued his work with the precision of a royal jeweler attending to the Crown Jewels. Not a corner neglected. Not a tooth forgotten. Not an unnecessary moment of discomfort inflicted. Considering the many years of neglect with which I had so shamelessly presented him, his accomplishment borders upon sorcery. I should be remiss, however, were I to allow Sir Tony alone to command the entirety of society’s praise. Sir Carmen, another most accomplished hygienist of the establishment, is equally deserving of admiration. His skill and gentle manner are such that one may entrust one’s smile to him without the faintest hesitation. Poldek Family Dental appears, rather scandalously, to have assembled more than one hygienist of exceptional talent beneath a single roof. And what a roof it is. The establishment itself is immaculately clean, modern, and exceedingly well-appointed. The sort of place in which everything appears precisely where it ought to be and one cannot help but suspect that even the dust would require an appointment before daring to enter. When at last I arose from the chair, I found myself thoroughly satisfied with the cleaning. A most excellent result after so many years of shameful neglect. It is therefore my solemn duty to inform the ton that should you desire a cleaning both exceptionally gentle and uncompromisingly thorough, you would be most wise to place yourself in the capable hands of Sir Tony or Sir Carmen. Negative experience: The hygienists are always very professional. Dr Poldek needs to work on his bedside manner. He’s almost rude. Dealing with losing your teeth can be traumatic and very scary…yet he brushes it off like it’s nothing with comments like “it’s not like you have cancer”. I guess you can say he’s lacking empathy and there is no sugar coating anything. As for his dentistry…it’s fine.

Negative experience: Painful. Scheduling Issues. Billing issues. Multiple sets of rework required. Late cancellation fees when advised of scheduling w/in the 48 hour cancellation period. Comms issues between dentists and hygienists.

Fantastic experience: I had recurring infections with one of my implants of which I have been taking several bouts of antibiotics . I was convinced by my daughters to get a second opinion. They recommended Dr. Poldek who they have high regards for. Went in for a consult and Dr. Poldek explained thoroughly what was causing the recurrent infection. He removed the implant, did a bone graft, treated my gums, put the implants back in. No infections ever since. The staff are awesome!

When it was placed, I was amazed by how smooth it felt AND the Bite is perfect (as if I never had any dental work done at all)! As always, scheduling my next appointments was a painless exercise in coordinating both a cleaning, 4 months out, and a return visit (THIS WEEK; complete surprise) to follow up and address some decay that was discovered during the cleaning. Sure, there are the normal SNAFUs when it comes to claims, yet, they minimize any negatives and have you leaving the office satisfied and complete. (Update 07-24-2025: Crown Placement for #2 molar was recieved with amazing results. We had attempted a large filling last year, but that didn't do the trick and a crown was definitely needed. Since the build-up was already in place from the filling, that step was simplified to only needing to prep for a crown. The temporary was amazing and, now, the porcelain crown fits perfectly and my bite is as good as my original tooth, if not better with no grinding at all! Please note that cash is now KING again. Negative experience: Been to other dentists in the past who would verify coverage before doing anything . The office manager, marcy said they are too busy to do that. I found she was very unprofessional refusing to return phone calls until I finally got a hold of her. Not sure on the skills of the dentist. He may be good as far as I know but annoyed my wife trying to push unneeded cosmetic services. I forgot wanting to do a negative review but once I got a cleaning reminder it reminded me to do this review. Thanks

Fantastic experience: As far as dentists go this one was pretty darn good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Dentist stopped by promptly after my cleaning. The prices are as about as good as it gets (with insurance.) For me, they used an ultrasonic scaler followed by a once-over with a hand-held scaler which was awesome since I have sensitive teeth. I didn't come away with a sore mouth for hours afterwards. Overall great experience. Plus, they put the video monitors on the ceilings so you can watch NetFlix while they clean.
