Fantastic experience: The entire experience was super excellent from beginning with the office staff and onward with Natalie who cleaned my teeth as never before. Dr. Zac inspected my teeth and the crown that recently came off one of my rear upper right teeth. He was able to gllue in back in to it's rightful place rather than trying to sell me on getting a new one as some other dentists might try to do. I am encouraging my wife to change her dentist and she said she will in the immediate future. Thanks to all.

Fantastic experience: For over thirty years I have been going to BGD with all kinds of teeth problems, root canal, crown, cleaning, etc..Dr. Zack currently helped me finds solutions, he is very talented in treating each unique problem to fix my teeth and in some cases refer me to the right specialist for other major issues beyond his scope of dentistry. His staff is very accommodating when it comes to appointments changes and in case of emergency's situations, BGD hygienists are excellent and very friendly, they do great job with cleaning. This in addition to BGD beautiful office/rooms over looking the forest preserve, live music and birds watching during treatments. Thank you very much for job well done over the years.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Passehl and his staff provide the absolute best dental care. I have entrusted them for over 30 years. I recently had my 6-month cleaning with Cassandra. She is gentle and thorough. Dr. Bob has done quite a bit of bonding work to restore my teeth. After inspecting my cleaning, there is usually another issue that is lingering due to the limitations of bonding materials and normal wear. Instead of rescheduling me for an adjustment, Dr. Bob whisked me over to another room and preformed the adjustments to my great satisfaction and in record time. This is the kind of compassionate care and the respect for my time that I have always treasured with Dr. Bob and his team. There is no better care than Barrington Grove Dental, period!

Positive experience: I had my first visit at Barrington Grove Dental today. Dr. Zack immediately found the root of my problem with a bothersome crown that is less than a year old. He diagnosed and found a solution to my problem. Lindsay meticulously and gently cleaned my teeth. It was a good visit.

He even apologizes if he hurts you a little. He's the best which is why I've been going to him this long! The whole office is so warm and helpful.. The above review was for the previous owner there is now someone new I'll call him Dr Zach and I wanted to say he's doing very well filling the big shoes left by Dr Passehl. He's just as gentle and caring about you're comfort and trying to make things affordable to you which is hard with dentistry. I love everyone in the office including my good friends at the front desk. You always feel welcome here! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As someone with an extensive background with dental issues and complications Dr Zach Sekulich is the best dentist I have ever gone to. He is excellent, in both a clinical and professional sense. But beyond that, he is truly kind. He recently did a wisdom tooth removal on me that was so well done, I experienced zero pain after it was taken out and during the procedure. And I have to shoutout Kara and Nicole, the front desk receptionists at this office, who make a great team and are very caring and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I was quickly received into the office and clea ing was begun and thorough. The dental hygienist measured my gums and took notes, took pics of teeth she was worried about. No insistent talking while my mouth was being worked on!! Also told me to raise.my hand if I needed a break and when I did, asked if it was due to needing to swallow or pain. The doc, Dr Zach, shook my hand firmly and I produced himself. He thoroughly examined my teeth. he also asked the hygienist to record his extra notes. We spoke about reasons for my not wearing guard in my mouth at night and the doc and hygienist gave me some great ideas for solving the situation. I really felt well taken care of.

Negative experience: After decades of going to Dr. Passehl, we will be moving on. We were going to give "Dr Zach" a go, but with my husband's recent experience with needing to cancel his appointment on short notice, it looks like we have our answer. He called first thing on a Monday morning to explain that he needed to cancel that afternoon's appointment due to an unavoidable conflict and was told he would be charged $60 because of their 24hr cancelation policy. When my husband said the day prior was a Sunday, the receptionist told him he should have left a message. She explained that the $60 fee is because they have to pay the dental hygienist "who will now just have to sit there" and "they make a lot of money." My husband explained that our family of three has been going there for years and that the change of dentists is already putting us on the fence about continuing to go there, and he asked her, "Do you really want to risk losing our business like this?" The receptionist answered, "Fine." My husband clarified--"You're saying it's fine that we no longer go there?" And she answered, "Yes." That seems like a sign worth paying attention to.

Positive experience: I have been a patient for sixteen years and have always received the best of care. I hope doctor Bob has a successful recovery, in the meantime, Zack has been great with my implant process. The extraction was quick and painless and his unique flipper design has worked very well. Now if his referral is up to his standards I should be pleased as well with my implant.

Negative experience: I saw Dr. Passehl for many years and he fixed a handful of things during that time. He was an excellent doctor with an eye for perfection. Recently he retired and “Zach” stepped in. You heard that right. Not Dr. (insert last name), just… Zach. Unfortunately for me, I needed a filling done and a chip in my tooth filled in. The kid (Zach) filled my chip in and left the whole tooth plastered with the resin which I had to come back and have him clean off. (Never was able to get rid of the extra resin). Within 15 minutes after it was done, the filling fell out and I was at a loss. The other filling he did was an absolute NIGHTMARE.. for almost 8 months, I have been 100% unable to use the right side of my mouth due to the unbearable pain he caused me. I’ve waited months to write this review, I wanted to get it looked at by a real dentist (not a kid fresh out of his med school high chair). I finally got it fixed today by a dentist that couldn’t hold back her facial expression when she opened my mouth and saw what he did to me. After the appointment today, I am finally able to use the right side of my mouth and all is well. Long story short, find a new dentist. It truly is a shame what he has brought to the table, because the group of technicians, and all the front desk help has always been absolutely incredible and professional. Life lesson, go with a doctor that introduces himself as Dr, and his last name. God speed Barrington grove dental staff.

Negative experience: My family and I have been going to Dr. P for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience, until the new Dr. Zach took over. I dont know if this kid has a problem with people ir a mentsl issue, or if its just people closer to his age he has a problem with, but we have never been treated worse by a so called "professional" in all my years. This man was rude and has talked down to my wife and I. He called my wife a grinder/ice chewer, and when my wife said she has no idea of teeth grinding and that maybe its in her sleep, Dr. Zach responded "I must be imagining it then, I can't do anything for you." That is the response of a petulant teenager. I am sorely dissatisfied with what has become of this once great practice, and my family and I will be going to a new dentist for the future. Highly would not recommend! The only saving grace are Nicole and the ladies in the office who are always kind and welcoming to everyone (and have been for many years.)

Fantastic experience: Had an old crown come off. They fit me in and quickly dealt with it and another failed crown. Dr. Zach knew what he was doing, explained everything and made sure there was no pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zac is an efficient, kind dentist with a great sense of humor as well! He put in a bridge on my upper left side of my mouth after being told I couldn’t support a bridge. I’ve been thrilled with the bridge, since I no longer have to wear a false tooth in that area! He charged me a reasonable price, (very competitive) compared to what I saw a bridge would cost in other dental offices! He’s checked it twice for me and made a small adjustment once without a charge! He’s great, I would recommend him to anyone I know!

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend Barrington Grove Dental for Emergency care. I started experiencing severe throbbing pain in the back of my mouth and visited my regular dentist, who couldn’t identify the issue despite X-rays. After being sent home with pain meds that provided little relief, I sought a second opinion and was told I likely had a cracked wisdom tooth needing extraction which would need an oral surgeon. I started my search for one... I found Barrington Grove Dental through Google, and from the first call, they were incredibly helpful—quickly verifying my insurance (though out-of-network) and providing an affordable quote upfront. I decided to proceed, and I’m so glad I did! Dr. Zachary and the entire staff were wonderful. Dr. Zachary was personable, professional, and reassuring, even though my wisdom tooth was infected with abscess and not actually cracked or broken like the other two dentist got wrong. The dentist diagnosed my tooth correctly at this practice(Thank you!l) The procedure itself was virtually painless, and I left feeling relieved after days of discomfort. I’m extremely grateful for their efficiency and care during a painful situation. I did have to pay out of pocket, but they were honest and very affordable. I highly recommend this practice and only wish they were in-network so I could continue seeing them for future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Barrington Grove Dental for the past 16 years or so and I even take my 10 and 14 year old boys with me. Just getting to know Dr Zach, but the boys and I had a good visit today. The office staff and hygienists have always been helpful and friendly as well.
