Fantastic experience: Today is August 31 and Dr Patel was so kind and came into the office to give me botox injections for my very painful TMJ. He is a talented and kindly doctor and he ALWAYS goes above and beyond. We are so lucky to have Dr. Patel as our dentist!!!!!!!

My x-rays and teeth cleaning with Elyssa (Dental Hygienist) were the most relaxing I’ve ever experienced in a dentist’s office. Fantastic experience: I had to make a last minute appointment, and they were extremely accommodating and flexible! Dr. Pattani & the rest of the staff are nice and respectful. I walked in thinking they'll rush me out the door with a rushed procedure since I made a last minute appointment (called their office the morning of), however, that was not the case at all. I appreciated Dr. Pattani taking the time to explain my options, and I didn't feel rushed at all. They were also professional and mindful of my time, too.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. I booked an appointment for an extraction and was going back and forth with Amy regarding necessary treatment cost/paperwork and x-rays needing to be sent. I reminded her COUNTLESS of times I am driving 1.5 hours to see this specific place I was referred to and do not want to waste my drive. The day of my original appt, I called to see if they had received any x-rays to make sure I’d be able to be treated/seen and if the costs would be the same, she did not receive the x-rays so I suggested we reschedule to make sure everything is #1 in line/received and #2 traffic would be minimal. After showing up to my rescheduled appt, they mentioned me getting a scan (ALTHOUGH) I sent them X-rays and said I could provide a CT scan I just had. They mentioned it’s at no cost so I said we can proceed. I get in the chair and then we realized they accept my insurance but I also needed a additional treatment so Amy went back to get a new estimate while I had many questions for the dentist as this was a BIG procedure. Once we realized to give it a go, the assistant started to pre numb me and got the dentist. He comes back and says “I can’t do this anymore, we close in 30 minutes and I’m about to leave” there was absolutely no heads up about him having to leave or any urgency of time. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! I then get a bill in the mail as they BILLED my insurance for that scan but also an exam I didn’t even receive. I will be disputing that as I have proof of the treatment plan thy provided on that day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! He is not a specialty dentist. SEEK PERIODONTIST for an actual knowledgeable professional in extractions and etc. This place is SO ghetto I wish I was kidding

Fantastic experience: I am from Colorado visiting. My crown fell off. I called the office & they were able to fit me in to recement my crown back in place. This dentistry is very efficent, conscientious, yet personable & polite. If I lived here, i would be their patient.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always so friendly from front desk to dental assistants Jen and Elyssa doing the procedures to prep you for Dr Pattani. I had Jen today and she makes you feel very comfortable during X-rays and cleaning. Always happy to hear Dr Pattani say “everything looks good today”.

Fantastic experience: The best dentists in Chicago

Negative experience: Edit: i went in a second time and approved a cleaning, dentist checked me out for less than a minute, nice guy. Then i get charged $280 when i was expecting $120-140 like last time. I guess the dentist walking in counts as me accepting an exam fee of $80 and the fluoride they did without asking me was like $35. I don’t mind the money but why are extra services being provided during my cleaning that I’m not being told cost extra? After speaking to Amy on the phone and being treated as though i knew i was going to be double charged, I decided to cancel my next apt and ill have to find a new dentist office. Because who knows what im going to pay on the way out next time. Very unhappy with how i was just treated on the phone, and unhappy with how i was charged double for a cleaning.

Receptionist was excellent and the hygienist- Elyssa - moved to the top of my list. Dr. Pattani was engaging and professional along with a nice sense of humor. I called MSS and explained the situation and they got me in the same day. They took great care of me and both the doctor and hygienist were fantastic! Zero pain or discomfort. I am so glad I found them! I should add my previous dentist office was not great in skill or competency.

I went in to have the need for two root canals assessed and they went above and beyond expectations. The dentist gave me a complimentary consultation with two options for treatment plans to address my entire mouth; so there is no confusion about costs. I appreciated the time and effort they took to inform me of the condition of my teeth and what it will cost to correct them. I couldn’t recommend this small business any more than I do!!

Fantastic experience: I have had excellent experiences at Main Street Smiles. Amy and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I came to Dr. Patanni with an infected root canal. He took care of the root canal and set up several visits to get rid of the infection. He works efficiently and tells you exactly what is happening. He was able to get the infection cleared without anything more invasive. I have not had a problem since. The hygienists are great too! It is a pleasant experience to interact with the staff. If you need a dentist, come to Main Street Smiles!!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this office. The people truly seem to enjoy coming to work. I have never been a fan of routinely going to a hygienist. I went to finish my deep cleaning today and I couldn't be happier to know that I won't fear or resent going for regular cleanings with this wonderful group of caring people.

Positive experience: I would've given this place a 5 except for one thing. Lucrative service fees. Be careful with extra charges of services that are advertised as FREE on their website and even when I had asked over the phon to confirm that it was free and what were the details of the package deal. I'm referring to their new patient cleaning package which says you get ( FREE Cleaning, X-Rays, Exam and Fluoride Treatment) prior to making the actual appointment to which the receptionist did confirm at the time. Only to be disappointed and surprised when I had went for the service they had told me I owe $35 for the topical Fluoride treatment. I had questioned the charge and they had explained to me that MOST insurance will not cover this. BUT that insurance covers for young kids up to the age 16 years old. That type of transparency would've been appreciated right off the bat. To which I said can I pay the fee later I don't have enough money to cover that right now. They said we don't typically let patients pay later, but given your situation we'll email you a link and send over your paperwork digitally explaining your insurance benefits. I understood. I get that each business has to make their end of their bargain and reach a quota. No disrespect to any of the staff or dentist but it would've been again, nice and considerate for them to be open about these types of things. The dentist office itself is nice and tidy. The receptionist are somewhat kind. The hygienist, Jen was amazing. She took her time with my teeth and thoroughly explained each step of the process. The dentist was in and out within 10-15 minutes. Luckily, I had no real issues with my teeth just need a couple fill ins. At the end of the appointment I was given the bag of a complimentary toothbrush and paradontax toothpaste.

Fantastic experience: We visited this facility after a traumatic experience at smiles for kids in Arlington heights. The dentist was so caring to my 4-year-old daughter, taking the time to check in on her, speaking to us (her parents) about what is happening. There is a tv on the ceiling which is perfect, and it’s such a cozy little office. I will refer time and time again. You simply can’t beat great bedside manner and phenomenal service.

Fantastic experience: I had one dentist for my life, almost 3decades. Ended up with my heart problem, he became as cold as iceman. Because I have some complicated physical condition that made him turned into totally stranger. I was helpless to get help from anyone. I found the dentist at Main Street Smile in Barrington. I was on liquid diet for 3 weeks with my old age and heart problem. I had an extreme tooth pain caused no food can be near my mouth. My old dentist messed up with whole mouth falling apart. I thought only death is waiting for me, but I found Dr. Pattani who made my feeling ease. He is very much knowledgeable on various areas. I finally started eating some solid food tonight after 3 weeks. He gave me some future plan to solve my numerous dental problems. Thanks to the Dr. and all those smiley office people.

Very very thorough and Dr P checked might teeth and X-rays as well. They found two small cavities and helped me with a treatment plan. I was not rushed at all and they spent one and a half hours for the full set of 18 Xrays., a Dr’s mouth throat, and neck exam and complete tooth exam after review of my X-rays, I had a complete 2 step teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment. They even talked about my previous history and a night guard . Go check them out!! Very caring from beginning to end.

Our hygienist was Jen and she was so warm and welcoming that it put my son at ease right away. He spoke to us after the cleaning and couldn't have been nicer. This dental practice is a one-stop shop. They do routine dental work and orthopedics. Jen provides amazing routine services which has improved my oral health significantly. Dr.P is very flexible and provides great guidance without any pressure at all. I cane in for consultation 2-3 times over 3-4 months before bringing my long list of needs here. He never pressured me once to start the procedures with him. I smile with so much confidence now than ever before thanks to Dr.P. My only regret is that I wish had met this amazing group of dedicated professionals long time back. Fantastic experience: Lovely building, clean, practical, & staff, and dentists were all professional, and really wanted to make me feel comfortable, have only good things to say about this practice!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in many years. I heard about Main Street Smiles from a testimonial by John Williams on WGN. I was so happy l scheduled my appointment. The office is set in a refurbished home and it is beautiful. The initial visit special was such a great offer and l had a nice visit with dental hygienist Elyssa and loved the 80's music she had in her relaxed offive and we had a great chat about her dogs and mine. I needed a little hand holding for my fillings, but Dr. Pattani was very patient. I highly recommend going to Main Street Smiles.
