Negative experience: I’m going to be completely straightforward about my experience because I believe patients have a right to know what they’re getting into. I found this dental office because they were able to accommodate me as a first-time patient the following day. The booking process was excellent, check-in was smooth, and the technician who performed my scans and X-rays was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. When Dr. Son Nguyen came in, the interaction felt rushed and impersonal. I had arrived early, yet he seemed to be in a hurry and did not even introduce himself. While I don’t expect a handshake from every healthcare professional, the overall interaction left a poor first impression and made me uncomfortable. I understood going in that I needed substantial dental work, and I was prepared to pay my portion upfront. What I was NOT prepared for was the pricing I was presented with. Because the office is in-network with Cigna, I contacted Cigna directly—while I was at the office—to compare the pricing and coverage. The discrepancies raised serious concerns for me about the costs I was being quoted. The front-desk employees were very nice, and I have no complaints about their attitude or professionalism. However, the communication was frustrating. I was told I would receive callbacks and updates that never came. I repeatedly had to call the office myself or physically return to get answers. Ultimately, I decided to take my business elsewhere—and I’m extremely glad I did. After getting a second opinion, I was told I did not need the bridge that had originally been recommended. I was particularly concerned about that recommendation because the bridge would have relied on a tooth that had previous work done for support. Instead, I received a single-tooth implant at another dental office with transparent pricing that aligned with my Cigna benefits. That experience was a night-and-day difference. My biggest advice to anyone considering treatment here: DO NOT blindly accept the quoted price. Get your treatment plan, then call your insurance company yourself and verify every procedure, allowable amount, and out-of-pocket cost. Get a second opinion if anything doesn’t add up. For me, this ultimately became a matter of principle. I’m willing to pay for quality dental work, but I expect pricing to be transparent and consistent with my insurance coverage. After comparing my experience with another dentist, I have no regrets about leaving this office. Do your homework, verify the numbers with your insurance company, and don’t be afraid to walk away. There are other dentists who will provide quality care without leaving you questioning whether you’re being charged fairly.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for a dental cleaning and left I disappointed, unsatisfied, and lost a day of work appointment set at 9am, they called me at 10:17am to wait 15 minutes for someone to call the dentist for him to say I need a dental cleaning and to make another appointment. Never going back.

Fantastic experience: I love Bright now Dental! I’ve been going to them for years…. I got both my kids braces through them and I myself got Invisalign through them. They are honest about the work that you need to get done and if you do need to get work done, they are very affordable.

Fantastic experience: From the scheduler, the front desk, the dental assistance and then meeting Dr. Nguyen, it was a fantastic experience. I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences in the past that have kept me from visiting the dentist on a regular basis which ended up with me getting a broken/infected tooth. Thank you to the team for being quick to see me and quick to remove my tooth since there was no saving it. I’ve had dentists in the past that said it needed to be removed but would have me schedule another appointment after the exam which made no sense and seemed like they just wanted my money. Dr. Nguyen was respectful of my time, my care, and my finances and didn’t waste time to get me better even though it was towards the end of everyone’s day I didn’t feel rushed. I would definitely come again for routine preventative care to ensure I do not put myself in this pickle again thank you all for your kindness and respect.

Negative experience: Terribly disappointed. I had service where they put in a crown. It broke and went in for review. Waiting a very long time for tem to basically tell me I needed a new one. They had new paperwork for me to sign to get a new claiming it would be covered. I knew that wouldn't be the case with insurance. Oh..yeah..I was right so double by bill..I dont like when they try and be tricky they knew once I started the process I would be stuck paying the full bill. They work with insurances all day long and know the rules. They wouldn't work with me or offer a reduction. Now to add insult to injury I am getting a bill for the exam!!! They state insurance didn't cover the xray. Response was for me to call the insurance. Mind you, I asked when I checked in if there was going to be an out of pocket expense. I hate scammers. So why didn't they check beforehand? It's common to check before services. At least I saved myself on the crown by pushing on that. I see other comments on billing issues. Beware, beware! **Reply**I did call office. Assume reply is automated because if you really wanted to improve your service you would have heard me out.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here since 2nd grade…I’m now 20 and about to start nursing school. The staff has always been kind, attentive and gentle with me. I recently had a visit after not coming in for about 5 years. I was a little scared that I was going to get a lecture about slacking off on my dental hygiene throughout the years. But it was complete opposite. The dentist, dental assistants and front office staff were extremely nice and understanding of my personal and scheduling situation. Even when I was younger and would come in for my braces the ortho staff were friendly and would give useful advice about dental care! I would definitely recommend coming here!

I have had 8 teeth capped (over several years) ——they/re still fine and the whole process was painless. The Dr Nguyen has always been concerned about my dental health and is skilled at doing procedures. I haven'a had any bad experiendes in 13 years..

Fantastic experience: The last appointment I had was a teeth cleaning. She was excellent, gentle, quick. She knows her job. It was something I use to hate but she turned that around. I don't remember her name. Everyone I have had has been very good at thier job. The best dentist office I have had in long time.

Negative experience: They stole $60 for me. And when I asked clarifying questions, prior to my card being swiped, they made me feel like I was dumb and unreasonable. Plot twist… turns out the scrub wearing front desk, staff at the dental office do NOT know simple dental terminology. Yes, this review is lengthy, but this three minute read will hopefully save you a headache (especially if you already have a toothache ). I was very clear both when I made my appointment over the phone, an exceptionally clear when I arrived at my appointment, that all I needed was to get the end of my permanent retainer re-adhered to my tooth, as the bonding popped off. They told me it would be $59.99 for the x-rays and the dental exam. I explained to them that I didn’t need a cleaning or any fillings. I simply needed my “lingual bar” re-adhered to my tooth. I asked for a estimate. The same two female, Gen Z’s, receptionist told me repeatedly that they couldn’t provide any kind of price until the doctor did his exam. I try not to be difficult… but every dollar counts. I didn’t want to waste $60 if they weren’t able to re-adhere the corner of the permanent retainer or if they were gonna charge an exorbitant amount. I stayed respectful and patient. I asked for a billing assistant or a manager, and I was told that they were all busy. Then one of them said that they would ask the dental assistant how much it would cost for bonding. When she came back she said that the assistant asked “bonding of what?” and reiterated that they wouldn’t be able to give me an estimate until I was seen by the dentist. I paid the $60, spent 45 minutes doing my x-rays, and the doctor evaluated my teeth confirming that my gums were healthy and I had no cavities. I told the dentist, I just needed the end of my permanent retainer re-adhered back to my tooth. The dentist told me that he couldn’t bond the corner of the retainer, as only Ortho has that type of bonding. He continued and said I needed to come back when Ortho was in the office, so that they could bond it. I went back to the front and scheduled an appointment with their ortho. Then I asked the same receptionist if the x-rays and dental exam were actually needed for the Ortho visit. She said they were not, and that she didn’t know I was needing Ortho. I reminded her that before I paid, I said multiple times that I needed the end of my “lingual bar” bonded back to my tooth. She said, “I don’t know dental terminology.” That completely took me by surprise. I told her if she didn’t know what a lingual bar was, she should’ve just asked me or the dental assistant. She told me I should have use the word “retainer” - so it’s my fault. Since the manager was still busy, I asked for the receptionist name, she asked why, and then said that she wouldn’t provide it to me. (She was sitting on the left side, as you walk into the office.) The dentist seemed nice. The dental assistant looked overworked, as she was doing the x-rays, cleaning the chairs, and and assisting the dentist during his assessment. They told me they hadn’t received my forms and that they resent a couple days ago. I triple checked, and they were not emailed nor text to me. The receptionist said they have only a 10 minute grace period. So I had 10 minutes to complete the forms in office before my visit was canceled. Fortunately, I arrived on time… well I guess unfortunately, for me. I wish my appointment had gotten canceled so I could’ve saved my money and my time. I guess my $60, that was wrongfully taken, has gone to the education a.k.a. learning of simple dental terminology of their front desk staff.

Negative experience: Been waiting since august for a response about my son’s braces…. The office didn’t even want to submit the claim saying it was Medicaid and it wasn’t approved…. I said I don’t care please submit it… called in October to find out the correct paperwork was NOT submitted to the insurance, they asked for my son to go back take more pictures and now in December I am still waiting…. I’ve called and get no response other than we will have someone call back…. STILL WAITING…

Positive experience: I had to leave this review because I was in so much pain after one of my wisdom teeth erupted over the weekend, and I had been calling every dentist in the Valley trying to get in. Bright Now Dental was the only office willing to accommodate me last minute. I spoke with an assistant named Ariel, and he was incredibly empathetic with amazing bedside manner. He was one of the only people I talked to who genuinely understood how much pain I was in, and he made the whole process feel less overwhelming. When I got to the office, they were quick, efficient, and somehow still got me in even though I was a first-time patient. The oral surgeon was extremely professional, and my recovery ended up being surprisingly smooth. I’m honestly so grateful for how they handled everything. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the front receptionist was a bit rude and unprofessional. Other than that, every other staff member I interacted with was amazing!

Fantastic experience: I am so appreciative for this office! Dr. Nguyen was so patient, so kind, and so very knowledgeable. Originally I went to another location, but I am so happy that I switched here. They got me in the very same day that I called to tell them what was going on. But I missed that appointment, and they were able to get me in literally the next day! The doctor changed original root canals, and stated he could just do fillings on them!!! And then Ariel! The office manager, soooo kind, and just amazing. He helped me with everything, and made the process so simple, he worked with me in every way needed. Overall, this experience was everything I needed as someone who has AVOIDED the dentist for the past four years, I still need a few more things done, but I am not going to be as nervous as I was , knowing that I am going to be in such great hands! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Very very friendly staff, and they're also very aware of expenses and break down the costs really well and let you know which ones you can do at a different time they also offer a firm for payments as well. You know that saying it's too good to be true. Will this place it if you get what you get. They try to help you as much as they can with costs and that to me is priceless. Thank you Bright now staff

Fantastic experience: Went in for another session to have a crown put in for the root canal I needed, the Dr suggested I do a bridge and explained everything I needed to know to make the decision. It would cost me more to get the crown then have to come back for the bridge and have the crown removed…everyone is always so communicative and help me to make the right decisions

Fantastic experience: I had great experiences at this dentist office. Dr. Son Nguyen and my dental hygienist Denise did an amazing job, painless and efficient. I felt great after their services and loved my teeth more since then. But the only downside is the lady at the receptionist desk. She didn't show me a really good attitude until I agreed to pay for the services. And before my services, I already requested her to check with my insurance provider. And she showed me the costs for my services. After I paid for my services, I asked her whether I would get any other bills, and she told me that if the insurance didn't want to pay, it would be on me. This was my first time coming to a dentist in the U.S, so I had no idea of how things work. And she couldn't give me a proper answer about why the insurance wouldn't pay. Luckily, the new office manager was able to comprehend my concerns and gave me persuasive explanations. I was confused and unhappy, but after receiving his explanation and great attitude, I changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. I'll be back for regular cleaning and other services.

Fantastic experience: The denist at Bright Now Dental the best denist I ever had. The only thing I will say Bright Now Dental needs to make sure patient are taking care of as it relates to when the denist suffers a injury and you have to calling patients on a daily basis to reschedule that's not a good look. I really like the service I receive at Bright Now Dental but as a long time patient. Please consider an replacement if the denist is going to be out of the office for at least 3 are 4 days are a week procedure is basic. Suggestion only you don't want to lose patients .

Negative experience: Like most Dental in AZ this place is also a scam. 1hour+ wait, 30min inside. Never did clean my moms teeth, but happily wasted 1.5hrs of her time. But happily did hand my mom a quote for $23k. They don't take cash which means no discount for cash. Avoid this place at all costs. Pure scammer bs. Oh they do offer a discount if you subscribe to some nonsense. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: Walking in I was a little afraid! The front office needs a face lift! Chairs are worn out and does not give you a good feeling about the whole office!!!! Staff was very nice. Hygienist and dentist were very thorough and quite pleasant! The office as a whole could use a revamp! A little out dated!!!

Fantastic experience: Outside of that creepy drill with the super high pitched sound that every dental office has, this place is about as low stress as dental experiences get. Everyone is very chill, but friendly. The dentist maintains very low tones and could make asmr videos. Billing was very clear and up front. Appointments were right on schedule, so I had very little time in their lobby chairs, which were cushy. My crown fits very well, and I even got a complimentary old-school toothbrush after my cleaning.

She worked fast but efficient. I was done in less than an hour very very little pain. All In all best experience ever. Highly recommend coming to this location the staff is amazing

Negative experience: If I could give this place a ZERO stars I would! They NEVER answer the phone! Everytime walking in for an appt all I see is them at their desk bsn, texting on personal cell phones or walking around laughing & gossiping but, they can't do their job & answer the phones???!!! Especially dental emergencies!? I got a crown done with them in July 2022 that broke lastnight & was trying to get through to schedule to be seen today to at the very least get a temp put on. After hrs of trying to get though with no avail I finally got through by selecting I was a new patient just for them to tell me they couldn't see me until Monday. Like excuse me this is a dental emergency! My tooth is exposed & this is happening to me because of your shitty work! Mind you the is the SECOND crown they put on because the first one didn't fit so they sent it back to lab, second time around it didn't fit either but, they were able to adjust to fit probably why I'm sitting here now with a broken crown but, still refused to see me today & said I needed to wait until Monday. That's the whole weekend with my tooth exposed & at risk of more damage! I'm afraid to even eat!! I have filed a complaint against them with their corporate office & I will also be escalating this to a higher level & filing more complaints against them with Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners possibly even suing depending the outcome of my tooth I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TAKE YOUR $ ELSEWHERE YOU'LL BE BETTER OFF

Going in for 4 wisdom tooth extraction I was soooo nervous but everyone from Edith at the front desk, and Sam & Leslie for keeping me comfortable while the oral surgeon explained everything to me! 10/10 would recommend fir any service

Negative experience: I scheduled the appointment for my 6 year old child and asked them if they accepted AHCCCS and they said yes. I showed up for the appointment and they told me that they did not accept AHCCCS they just wanted to use my employer's insurance. I wasted my time in this place.

Negative experience: The website states they offer implants services, but when you wait for an appointment almost an hour later they refer you to another place and offer services you did not have concerns about. Another money scheme. I had a bill show up for receiving absolutely no service not even good customer service at the front desk btw. Stay away!

Negative experience: I had my wisdom teeth pulled over 10 years ago by Dr. Loud and still have nightmares about the experience. He was unapologetic and rude after I complained he performed anesthesia incorrectly, I woke up in the middle of procedure and started crying because I could feel and hear all of my teeth being ripped out of my jaw during procedure. I will never forget the way Dr. Loud and his staff treated me that day and would never recommend anyone visit this location.
