Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience! Dr. Rohan Jagtap was wonderful. I have pretty bad anxiety, and he walked me through the entire process before and during my treatment, which made me feel so much more comfortable. He was patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing dental work!

Fantastic experience: My son is 19 and autistic. He's moderately functioning, as in he doesn't drive a car, have a job or stay home alone, but likes most age appropriate stuff and cooperates at the dentist for fillings without extra accommodations. Was really impressed with this office. We have been to at least 3 DFW endodontist, not to mention 2 dental surgery centers and probably 4 general dentists over the last 8 months. Trying to find the right fit for us. Some places choose to do the minimum, esp if the employess already have stereotyped my son and they automatically assume he won't be cooperative. Unfortunately that's the "norm" these days everywhere, but that's on them for being crap human beings. Texas Endodontic Center isn't the "norm", they're above and beyond without making you feel like your in the spotlight. They were thorough, explained everything and were very knowledgeable, not just with dentistry but also with special needs patients. It wasn't just the dental assistant or receptionist, even the dentist Dr. Andrew Xu! They were all very accommodating. If you have a child with any kind of "disability" you know how important it is to be seen and heard, but NOT singled out and made a mockery of. Hopefully, we won't have to go back to TEC, bc who wants a root canal? If we ever do need such a thing again, this is where we will go 1,000%. Thank you TEC!

Fantastic experience: I needed a root canal right before the holiday. My dentist called a lot of Endodontist. Some would see me but wouldn't before the weekend. I got into Tx Endodontic Center and they agreed to also treat me. The endodontist was through and gave me my options. I chose a root canal done immediately. I dont like dentists but they made me relaxed. The shot hurt but the root canal was painless after that. I would recommend this place if you need help.

Fantastic experience: My experience was flawless from the moment I first reached out by email to the completion of my root canal retreatment. The office staff was professional, responsive, and helpful through both email and phone communication, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Dr. Xu was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. His calm demeanor helped put me at ease, and he made the procedure as comfortable as possible. Afterward, I visited my general dentist to determine whether my crown needed any additional work. As soon as I mentioned Dr. Xu's name, she had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Although she has never personally met him, she was familiar with his reputation and the quality of his work, which spoke volumes. Negative experience: Dr Xu provided good treatment, but my experience with the billing department has been very frustrating. After my insurance claim was finalized, I was due a refund of over $300 because I had been overcharged before treatment. It has been weeks, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received the refund. While the medical care was satisfactory, the refund process has been unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.

Negative experience: My root canal was a horrible experience. My Dr was very rough even after I told him repeatedly he was hurting me. Two days later, I got up with a huge face and a very dangerous infection. Six weeks and three rounds of different antibiotics later, I am finally well. A nightmare.

Fantastic experience: After calling around looking for Endodontist, TEC had next day availability for consultation and treatment. All the staff was nice and friendly, i felt comfortable and welcome. I had a root canal retreatment and i was nervous at first, but Dr. Xu knows what he is doing, he is very knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions. I was numbed and did not feel a thing and before i knew it he was done. I am very pleased with my visit!

Fantastic experience: I've had cleanings done that were more uncomfortable than the root canal performed by Dr. Xu at Custer Endodontic. He kept me well informed as he performed each step in a highly skilled and professional manner. I caught myself almost napping during the procedure which is unheard of. Fantastic experience: From the initial phone call to coming in person. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I was nervous coming in, but eventually relaxed. Dr. Blacher explained my presenting condition well and went over the treatment throughly. I felt confident in his recommendation and his ability to perform the treatment. The process went very well and I actually fell asleep a couple of times. I'm grateful I didn't allow this to become a bigger issue and overcame the fear of the potential discomfort I'd feel after. Positive experience: I was here for a retreat on a root canal. Efficiency wise things seemed very slow with paperwork and I'm surprised it took so long to actually get started. But on the other hand, this root canal was the least uncomfortable I've been in a dentist chair in literally years. Dr Xu paid attention and let me ask questions and answered my questions. If you have eds and need a root canal come here.

Fantastic experience: I am a VA outpatient through VA Community Care, as the Veterans Administration Specialty Dental offices are overwhelmed with veterans like myself. So, often they send patients to specialty dental facilities that accept the VA. This office is one of them and they are fantastic. I had 2 teeth that needed "Re-Treat" Root Canals as I had original root canals performed in the early 1990's. I had no idea that all root canals eventually fail, and a Re-Treat is what I needed. I had one Re-Treat with Dr Xu and another with Dr Altitinchi. Both Re-Treats turned out perfect with no recovery pain at all. Very impressed with these doctors and their professional staff.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get in for consultation for a potential tooth issue. They did a CT and then with the doctor. Needed a root canal and fortunately could do it same day. Great doctor and staff. Root canal was as pain free as one can be and fairly quick. No issues. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: After completing her consultation, my regular dentist referred me to Texas Endodontic Center fearing a root canal was in the cards for me. My dental office called on my behalf while I was checking out and Dr. Xi from Texas Endodontic Center agreed to see me right away, on a Friday afternoon! I'm so glad he did. After x-rays and testing he confirmed a root canal was needed. He explained his procedures and expectations. About an hour later my procedure was completed and I have the weekend to recover. Fantastic experience: The words "ROOT CANAL" has always struck fear in me!!! I put off the procedure for years after being told that I needed one in my lower left molar. Finally, the pain became too much even after taking antibiotics to diminish my lower jaw pain... I have my dental covered 100% by the Veterans Affairs Department. I was referred to the Texas Endodontic Center as that facility was in their network. I wanted a different location that had high reviews, but who am I to complain as this root canal would be free! I met with Dr. H (can't pronounce or spell her name), that was to do my procedure. She took X-rays and did testing and confirmed the tooth that needed the root canal. Again, I was on pins and needles thinking about how painful this procedure would be and how I wished that I had taken better care of my tooth so as to avoid this right now!!! Let me tell you... It was a PIECE of CAKE!!! Dr. H numbed me up so effectively! I felt NO PAIN whatsoever... The procedure actually took less than 1 hour!! I was soooo surprised!! I couldn't believe it when she said that she was finished. IF you live in close to the Allen area in Texas and you need a Root Canal, this is the place!! I'm NOT being paid to type this! I just wish that I hadn't let the anxiety of the procedure live rent free in my head all of these years!!

Negative experience: I had a really disappointing experience at Texas Endodontic Center. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel unwelcome. I told the lady at the front desk that I had an appointment, and instead of checking the computer, she immediately said, “Are you sure it’s not next door?” That set the tone for the entire visit. Dr. Jonathan himself is very nice and knowledgeable, but unfortunately, the way the staff handles patients completely overshadows his professionalism. The treatment plan process was rushed — they basically just handed me paperwork without explaining the details, asking if I wanted to schedule, or even offering to start treatment right away. I came in for a root canal in pain, but I felt like they just wanted me to leave. This was especially frustrating because I had a root canal done here two months ago and I’m still in pain. Now, the tooth next to it also needs treatment, but I left feeling as though they either didn’t do a good job the first time and don’t want to admit it, or they simply didn’t want to deal with me. Overall, it was a super weird and uncomfortable experience. A great doctor can’t make up for the lack of empathy and professionalism from the staff. I honestly felt like they didn’t want to help me at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a consultation on my potential need for a root canal. I met with Dr Blacher. I really liked him. He took time to explain things I didn’t understand about root canals. I liked that he gave me options and associated risks , instead of just telling me what I must do. He seems extremely knowledgeable and I will definitely go back to him, when I need another root canal.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Texas Endodontic Center to have a root canal taken care of. I had a unresolved dead tooth (No 6) for several years now and had delayed getting a root canal done. 2 weeks back something in my mouth environment caused some trauma on my upper jaw and I had a huge abcess form on my upper jaw which refused to go. I went to my dentists at Twin Creek who are fantastic. They said the abcess was due to the dead tooth which needed an immediate Root Canal. However, the entire canal was calcified and my dentists recommended me to Dr Jonathan Blacher at Texas Endodontic Center. I cannot say enough wonderful things about both the center and Dr Blacher. The staff was proficient and capable and the center is simply amazingly well equipped with sophisticated devices. Dr Blacher was kind, excellent at his work and smoothly finished my root canal. I reached out to Dr Blacher a few days after the procedure as the abcess was still there. He adviced me on how to care for it and not to worry about its presence as it would dry out once the infection resolved. It took a week but sure enough, the abcess is gone, my mouth feels wonderful and the root canal has been done perfectly. Thanks for everything, Texas Endodontic Center and Dr Jonathan Blacher

Fantastic experience: Dr. Xu and staff were phenomenal. Dr perrformed a root canal that caused me pain for 10 days. I called around 8:45am and they managed to squeeze me in same day due to the pain I was in. I would highly reccomend them!

My Doctor referred me to go to Mr.XU to get a Root Canal at first I was not wanting to go to a dentist I never knew , well DR XU is a specialist was very nice and explained everything to me and answered all my questions with no sign of frustration at my consultation. This morning He did my Root canal and it did not Hurt , and went so quick I could not believe he finished, he kept asking me if I was ok and stopped when I had moments where I had to swallow and needed water. Explaining things to me. When he finished he explained post care and gave me his personal #.He told me I was soo good and I did Great! He was well aware of how nervous I was His staff is fabulous and facility VERY nice and Clean.I know that I will be well taken care of if I have to go back.

Fantastic experience: I have had extensive dental work for the past 40 years and without a doubt Dr. Xu is one of the best dental physicians I have encountered. He is excellent at his craft. Knowledgeable, gentle, and personable, he and his assistant created a calm atmosphere which ran smoothly throughout the repair of an old root canal. I highly recommend his professional ability to successfully repair complicated dental procedures.

Negative experience: They are greedy and try to get a lot more extra money out of you by charging you a large amount for a CBCT scan that isn't necessary. Because of this I wasn't able to save my tooth because I couldn't find another endontist. Stay away from this place they waste your time and cause you extra difficulties if you don't have a lot of money. Update, after reading the owner's response I still disagree, I was told by several professionals that it's your choice to charge that large amount of money for the scan so you're choosing to gouge more money out of people. You denied me the first three times I tried to make an appointment with you and because I didn't have the money for your scan I'm going to end up losing my tooth. If you would have just saw me the first time I came to probably could have been saved. You don't have to charge people for that scan You're just choosing to to get more money out of people. Otherwise why would you still do the skin for free later after I had complained? I even brought in the scans from my original dentist and one of your people looked at it and still turned me away. You wasted my time and you've caused me to now have to have an extraction. I would never recommend anyone to your business!

Fantastic experience: My son injured the pulp of his tooth when he hit his knee. Our dentist recommended the Texas Endodontic Center. We were scheduled with Dr. Kaiying Haggard. I’m very glad that we ended up with her. Dr. Haggard is highly professional, carefully considers every decision, and explains in great detail why a particular approach is necessary in our case. Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was so kind and thoughtful. Even provided me with a warm blanket because I was cold and nervous getting ready for a pretty big procedure. Dr. Xu is very wise and also gentle. I would not have wanted any other dentist to do the work I had done and I could not have had a kinder assistant.

Positive experience: Initial impression, the waiting room was very welcoming and smelled great. I did find some trash on the floor and the incense seemed to bother my eyes. Dr. Haggard was kind and knowledgeable. Her technique was thorough and I appreciated her explanations. I did find it odd that she was unable to polish the dental work as smooth as it was prior. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would scheduled dental work there again. Parking was awkward and the door is the furthest to the right, btw.

Fantastic experience: Great Doctor and very professional staff no waiting no worries smooth appointment. Got 3D pictures and xrays then doc came in did her eval. It was fairly quick and made the diagnosis set me up for early next week to fix permanantly the issue and rock on from there. So yes i highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was referred and outsourced by the VA to this location because I was experiencing pain in my right upper canine. Dr. Xu, Isabella, and the rest of the staff were amazing from beginning to end. This clinic is among the best I have ever visited and very professional, courteous, and friendly from beginning to end. Dr. Xu is, to put it simply, outstanding; he is very methodical, thorough, and has excellent bedside manner, explaining everything clearly and accurately. I am very satisfied with his work and professionalism and am happy to say there is no more pain or discomfort. The procedure, which turned out to be a root canal due to a dead nerve, was done same day and also went back to normal same day without any pain, discomfort, or any sort of negative aftermath. Simply amazing! If I could give ten stars, I would, for Dr. Xu and his staff deserve it!

He was professional, gentle, and explained everything clearly. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease throughout the process. Plus, the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing endodontic care. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give them ten if I could!

Fantastic experience: My son had pulp therapy by Dr Haggard. She tested carefully to exam what treatments can be applied to the decay tooth. She explained all the details to me clearly including options I had and its pro & cons. The whole process went well and my son told me there was no pain during the treatment. Glad my dentist referred Dr. Haggard for root canal which she did pulp therapy for my son instead.
