Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at Cuddly Smiles! Everyone in the office is always so kind, patient, and welcoming. The dentist is very thorough and takes her time—you never feel like she’s rushing through the appointment or trying to move on to the next patient. She even took a quick look at our treatment plan to confirm that everything was progressing exactly where it needed to be, which I really appreciated. It’s always reassuring to leave an appointment feeling confident that my daughter is receiving great care. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Never made it to the appointment they called me saying I missed the grace period of my appointment and asked if I’ll like to reschedule or call back I ended having to call back cause my ac went out on my car that’s why I couldn’t make it to my appointment I wasn’t gonna drag my baby n toddler in Texas heat I got it fixed and they said I’m not able to book any appointments cause of a no show no call policy so why didn’t she tell me that when my grace period was over the first so I was very annoyed when I called back not to be able for my baby not to be seen by them when they’re on her insurance card yeah it’s policy but she could of told me the day of the appointment

Fantastic experience: Love, love, loved this place. I’ve never been to a dentist that didn’t have my child and I sitting in the lobby foreverrrr, waiting for our appointment. When we arrived we didn’t even sit down. Checked in, went into the back, vitals, exam, teeth cleaning, visit with the DR, done. We actually were out of there within the same hour and still I didn’t feel rushed. Each person was kind, I could see us being here for a while.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this dental office! The entire staff is so kind, patient, and welcoming. They always make my daughter, Gigi, feel comfortable and safe during her visits. Even when she’s nervous or upset, they are incredibly sweet and know exactly how to calm her down and make the experience positive. It’s clear they genuinely care about their little patients. Negative experience: Its alright. Its clean and the front desk is friendly and helpful. But i do not like the way the Hygienist is with my kid. She doesnt have patience, and gets bothered when he moves on the chair. She tapped his forehead and told him to stop moving. My son is 6 and didnt seem to feel comfortable with her. So that says alot. I will be switching places and do not recommend it if you are more concerned about how they treat your child vs the job they do. Although when he did get a crown, she was very rough and kept pulling and pushing the crown in and out of his mouth. His little gums were so sore he cried for 2 days. Apparently theres only one hygienist there. Im not saying shes not good at her job, i just personally do not feel comfortable with her and wont be taking my son back

Fantastic experience: Parents of special needs children looking for a competent pediatric dentist, look no further! What an amazing pediatric dental clinic! We were referred by Cozi Dental for our son, who is autistic and non-verbal. Our son has extreme anxiety when it comes to anyone examining inside his mouth (dentist) or ears (ENT). We always had to restrain our son on our lap whenever we take him to the dentist back in CA, but even then, he's really strong and can fight or squirm his way out of hold. The best our dentist in Redondo Beach, CA could do was examine and brushed his teeth, something we already do daily, not even get an X-ray and they specialize in pediatric dentistry including kids with special needs! Like I've mentioned in my previous reviews on medical establishments here in TX, the care we received is phenomenal compared to what we received in SoCal South Bay area. At our very first visit to Cuddly Smiles, Dr. Yvonne Felli asked us a series of medical history questions pertaining to our son and understood right away how to treat him. Regular restraint this time did not work and we literally had to put him in a straight jacket, so Dr. Felli could work on actually cleaning his teeth. This isn't just regular brushing we were expecting and accustomed to back in CA. Dr. Felli's cleaning is involved and thorough, with the use of polishing abrasive on what looked like a dentist-grade Rotadent electric toothbrush. Using a jaw gag, Dr. Felli and her staff were able to keep our son's mouth open and take a full X-ray of his jawline and teeth for the very first time. They were even able to floss our son's teeth, amazing! Even more amazing, the entire visit lasted only 45 minutes and our son's teeth are now white and shiny. Our son even smiled once he got off the dental chair, which has never ever happened before. They also accept a wider range of insurance plans.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Felli is simply amazing. My 9 year old told me that she felt relaxed while getting her treatment done. Dr. Felli communicated with her the whole time telling her what was happening step by step. Her assistant was also amazing.

Negative experience: I want to give negative rating if I could. I recently took my daughter to Dr. Felli for a tooth extraction, and it was an extremely painful experience for her. The technique used seemed to cause excessive pain and swelling, far beyond what I would consider normal. Additionally, Dr. Felli charged both of my dental insurances. Despite receiving sufficient payment from the primary insurance, she still processed a claim with the secondary insurance. I called multiple time to talk about billing issues, and I was told to make an appointment with Dr Felli to talk directly about it. So I did, but Dr Felli did not see me until 1 month later. When I finally came to her office after 1 month, Dr. Felli made us wait for almost an hour in her clinic, claiming she was with a patient. However, during that time, no one entered or exited the office, and my husband, who went inside to use the bathroom, saw that there was no one there. When Dr. Felli finally met with us, she did not apologize for the wait. She told me to contact my insurance. When I contacted the secondary insurance about the overpayment, they issued a letter requesting a refund, which Dr. Felli has yet to honor, saying they did incorrectly. She also overcharged my portion, and when I requested a refund, she refused. I feel Dr Felli tried to prolong the refund process. Both of my dental insurances are big insurance companies, and I have been with them for so many years. I also used them to multiple different dental offices with no issue. If you want to experience poor treatment and overcharging, then go ahead and visit Dr. Felli. When you compare her pricing with other dentists in the neighborhood, you can tell Dr Felli is pricey and she adds unnecessary charges to your bill as well. I am shocked that she has a 4.9 rating in this neighborhood. Allen is a small city with many young families, and I hope word of such bad service will spread quickly.

Negative experience: PROS: Kid-friendly office and staff; doctors willing to answer questions and provide education CON(S): Dr. Yvonne kept telling my child, “don’t cry,” “calm down,” “if you cry it’ll make me sad,” and “if you cry this will take forever,” when performing his cavity fillings. I understand that kids may be more sensitive or easily scared/upset compared to adult patients, but it was scary to watch and listen to her ignore my kid’s pain and imply that it was his job to make her job quicker/easier. For context, my child doesn’t cry at doctor’s visits and getting shots. He has a relatively high pain tolerance. I stepped in and asked if we could take a break so I could check in with my son but was ignored. To be fair, Dr. Yvonne said all of these invalidating comments calmly and also used other techniques to try and redirect my son (telling him to watch the TV, giving him a tool to hold, telling him she was “just going to do X step,”), and I had turned down nitrous oxide prior to treatment, which is usually recommended for fillings. I truly think everything would have been fine and even a positive experience if Dr. Yvonne had simply omitted the “don’t cry” comments and instead said something like, “oh, I know this part hurts, but you’re doing great; you’re so brave, I’m going to do this next.” Consenting to any medical treatment requires trust and unfortunately, Cuddly Smiles has lost mine. I hope they do a better job of acknowledging their young patients’ experiences and receiving feedback in the future.

Fantastic experience: One thing that stood out for me was patient education. Dr Felli and his team took time to educate me on proper oral hygiene practices and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I will highly recommend this dentistry.

My daughter is one who does not like anyone or any doctor touching her face. . She has always been terrified of dentists, to the point where she didn't even want to lay down for her check-up. The team's patience and expertise with children transformed her entire experience. By the end of the appointment, she surprisingly mentioned that she wanted to come back, which, considering her anxieties, is a testament to their outstanding service. Negative experience: Horrible Dr. brushed my 6 month old with an adult toothbrush my poor baby was crying which I understand baby’s will cry but I asked my dentist if I should brush my baby’s teeth with a baby tooth brush & she said “he is too small use a wash cloth he shouldn’t use toothpaste until he can spit”.. now this Dr is supposed to be a pediatric specialist why did she brush my 6 month old baby’s GUMS with an adult toothbrush and used toothpaste on him?? I regret coming here

Fantastic experience: We were recommended to Cuddly from our hospital lactation consultant when we had our baby. He was born with a tongue tie and lip tie that made sucking hard for him when it was feeding time. From the first time we called them, Cuddly's employees are so kind and super nice. They listened and helped walked me through the process of getting my son an appointment to get it fixed. They called my insurance for me to make sure that the procedures were accepted and explained to me the cost. When we went to see them, the were always transparent about what is needed to be done, how much insurance would pay and what is the cost left to us. The dentist is amazing, she is so sweet and was great with our son and every kid that we saw in there. The dentist assistants were just as sweet and super thorough. We are so happy that we have found Cuddly, ever since we got the procedure done, my son has been able to sleep, feed and breath better. I would 100% recommend everyone take their kids here. They are great at easing your worries and aid you in understanding all this confusing health care stuff.

Fantastic experience: Appointment took a little longer than expected, but it was worth. The kids are happy and I’m happy with the care provided by every single person at Cuddly Smiles. I have a problem with dentists taking X-rays every single time we go for cleaning. I asked doctor Felli to skip it if her assessment looked normal and she promptly accepted after looking at a previous X-ray. They are not pushy to have things done if the patient is not comfortable. She seems to be very honest with her patients and I really appreciate that. I finally found a dentist I can trust to care for my children.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just had her first checkup/cleaning and the staff here is amazing! The receptionist, hygienist and Dr. Yvonne are some of the most patient women I’ve ever met!! The office is decorated super cute and my girl was given a big balloon to bounce around while we waited our turn.

Fantastic experience: This was our first good experience with a dentist in my son's whole 9yrs of life. He has mental health issues including severe anxiety and has always had to be sedated for any dental work (cleanings too sometimes). This office was AMAZING with him. They were patient and encouraging with him. They were successfully able to do dental work (extractions and fillings) without sedating him just because they cared enough to try! Seriously hope we never have to change dentists again. I'm excited to be able to keep up with his dental health needs without the stress of feeling like he's too much for them to handle. I am so grateful for this office.

Fantastic experience: I drive by this dentist office almost daily and today I tried it out with my kids. The Dentist is amazing. She explained everything she was doing in kid friendly terms, kept the "scary" equipment out of view and the staff was top notch. The pricing is reasonable regardless of if you're going through insurance or self-pay. We've definitely found a dentist we will be staying with for the foreseen future.

Fantastic experience: I searched on google and this was my first place to call. I spoked with Laura and we went from there. When I called her back she was able to get me in the next day which worked well for my daughter because I wanted her teeth to be cleaned sooner. I went in the next day which was Saturday. I really liked this place and the stuff members. The dental assistant are kids friendly and the dental doctor was very sweet and gives you good advice on how to keep your child’s teeth healthy. The place looked clean and organized well. I’m glad I found this place I will be taking my daughter here. I hope you guys keep up with the good work.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kids to Cuddly Smiles since 2021. Its a long drive for me, but its worth every cent of additional gas money and time. I drive past several dentist before I get to this location but worth it. Dr. Yvonne and her staff are super-friendly and she (Dr. Yvonne) treat my kids as she would her own. She gives me advice on how to brush the kids teeth and much as I sometimes don't like to be told what to do as a dad, I still appreciate it. Lastly, I like the fact that they open on Saturdays (every other week) which is good for parents who cannot make it on regular week days. Thanks for epitomizing the gold standard for pediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Dalajla was so super sweet from the time she walked out and called my daughters name to go back. She made my 4 year old so comfortable and made her feel like a queen! She was gentle and walked Gwyndolyn through every step of everything she was going to do! Then Yvonne came in and the hospitality continued! We have found our new dental family!

Fantastic experience: So glad I found this place. Staff was extremely caring and great with my 3 year old son. They were able to take him in right away as an emergency patient after having a fall that needed work done immediately. The Dr did a great job with my son as well as the rest of the staff. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place.
