She takes her time, and asks questions about tolerance when it comes to sensitive teeth. Dr. Kim is kind and always knowledgeable. They don’t push you to do things that are not necessary which I also really appreciate. I still have all my wisdom teeth and not once have they said let’s take them out, if anything they encourage me to keep cleaning them well and leave them in. And just to top it off, the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. No other office has been like this for me. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: My teeth were in awful condition when I chose The Dentists of Allen to fix them. My friend Olivia was a patient of Dr. Kim. He did beautiful work on her teeth. Olivia loves Dr. Kim & his Dental Assistant Chris as well as the entire staff at their office / castle - Kim, Clariza, Amio & of course Dr. Bishop who likes to play the big grand piano for patients in the waiting room / concert hall. He is excellent. My front top & bottom teeth were all terribly ground down, chipped & cracked. Dr. Kim explained that I would soon lose them very painfully as the nerves would soon begin to be exposed. Dr. Kim told me he could save my teeth & they would look great. He was right. He saved my teeth & they look great. He crowned my top front seven teeth & my bottom front ten teeth with beautiful state of the art porcelain. Chris asked me what tone of white porcelain I would like. I took a close look at her teeth. Her teeth are lovely. I chose the same tone of white as Chris's teeth. Dr. Kim's Lab Technician Tracy made my beautiful new teeth using the strongest porcelain & finest techniques known. She has great skill & talent. She observed & assisted Dr. Kim & Chris when each of my new 17 individual porcelain crowns were put in. They did the top teeth first - in two stages - then a couple weeks later we did the bottom teeth. Dr. Kim & Chris were amazing - so very skilled & delicate in perfectly arranging each of my 17 beautiful new teeth into my mouth. I never felt pain. They made it a wonderful time. Best dental experience ever! And now I have some beautiful new chompers. They look natural but are stronger than natural teeth. No food is too tough for my teeth. I have no remorse. Dr. Kim gave me a very good deal. My teeth feel great. They look great. I feel great. I can smile with confidence knowing I have teeth that sparkle & charm. When I flash my smile now I get nice smiles back. Beautiful, healthy teeth make a world of difference. I am so happy I chose The Dentists of Allen to fix my teeth I smile all day long. It has made me very happy.

He doesn’t recommend unnecessary procedures — if he tells you that you need dental work done, you can trust that you actually need it. That kind of integrity is hard to find and means a lot. My hygienist Lora is equally wonderful. She is genuinely empathetic and always makes sure you’re comfortable throughout your visit. You never feel like just another appointment on the schedule — she truly cares about how you’re feeling every step of the way. Together, they make every visit as pleasant as a dental appointment can be. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for honest, compassionate dental care!

She was very talkative and explained everything. If you’re looking for someone to treat your teeth perfectly, request Laura! You won’t be disappointed!

Everyone was so kind and understanding, and, while I was stressed out to begin with, it was a very easy and seamless process. The doctor was nice and thorough, and everyone really took their time with me. Also, he addressed some pain I’ve been having for years that other dentists previously dismissed, and has an action plan to fix it! I already have my next appointment scheduled.

Fantastic experience: Brought my daughter here to have 4 wisdom teeth extracted. She was so anxious it was getting the best of her. Dr. Kristopher Koelker and his Dental Assistant Patsy did an amazing job. The sedation was so safe and effective. Hannah said she felt nothing at all, even when the procedure was over and she was waking up, she was completely numb from the medications. She has had zero complications and the prescriptions were waiting at CVS when we arrived. The post op education was clear and easy to understand. We definitely recommend Dentist of Allen for anything dental from cleaning, to cosmetic or oral surgery. Best care ever!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a slight dental "Emergency". I'd been in the dental field for over 40 years so I am VERY picky! I couldn't have been more pleased with The Dentist of Allen. My previous Dentist was no longer in business & I had changed careers. I had been meaning to go to this office for quite some time but had been crazy busy. TIME FLIES! I knew the reputation of the original Dentist of Allen, Dr Dave Bishop, who had built the practice & knew he'd have great people to carry on. On top of all the good things I had heard about them, it is only a stone's throw from my real estate office. I was a little nervous that I had not taken the time to establish myself as a patient & had to call out of the blue but they got me in at a time that worked with my crazy schedule. The office is as beautiful on the inside as out & the crew is friendly & professional. They made sure I was comfortable with the diagnosis & I've rescheduled to go back. I've found my new Dental Team! Did I say I was picky? Well, it pays off!

I have had a number of crowns done and have had only one issue which was quickly remedied at no charge. The current staff and dentists uphold this fine tradition.

I was extremely nervous as I moved to HTX and visited another dental office saying I required multiple fillings (17 to be exact) with multiple office visits needed! This baffles me as I have always had routine checkups & good oral care. I have been seeing Dr. Kim for the past 15 + yrs and determined I only had 1 not multiple cavities & filled it immediately on the same office visit. They have dealt with unexpected issues like a cracked molar, tooth removal and a needed bridge. They have provided Invisalign to straighten crooked teeth. They are the best!! They use the latest technology. We trust them implicitly and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Shared with them that I’ve been a bit depressed lately, causing my teeth cleaning habits to diminish and she was incredibly understanding and respectful. She was gentle and engaged in really fun convo with me. Typically dentist offices just play like Christian radio which can get on my nerves. Thankfully that wasn’t the choice of music today and it made my experience much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend since this location seems to be a bit slower despite being directly off the highway.

All the members of the practice are committed to providing a comfortable, friendly and welcoming environment. They now provide a dental plan within their practice that is both reasonable and well designed for their patients. Additionally, they provide pediatric dental care. We feel very fortunate to have Allen Dental caring for our dental needs.
