Fantastic experience: Came here for my first appointment today and had my first truly wonderful experience at the dentist. Staff were very kind and friendly. The Dr I was with gave me his full attention, care, and time today. I wasn’t rushed out of the door and didn’t wait for hours and hours in the waiting room. Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Pak for a crown bite adjustment after a really bad experience at my prior dentist. He fixed me right up and I was able to get on right away. When I needed a second crown, it was such a pleasant experience compared to my first one. He and his entire staff, especially dental assistant Susan, were so kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had a pleasant experience this time. The office staff are all very competent and friendly, and I’ve never had to wait. Ryan is such a friendly hygienist and did a very thorough job, as well. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: After moving to Dallas in 2022, I’d been searching for a dentist I truly felt comfortable with. I just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. pak, and even when I had an issue with my permanent retainer, he was very accommodating and resolved it quickly. For dental work, Dr Pak really has a Midas touch: gentle, precise and efficient. I’ve visited the office many times and met most of the staff, and everyone has been friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The whole team creates a wonderful office culture. My calls were always returned promptly, my concerns were addressed, and they even squeezed me in for an urgent appointment when I needed it.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist 7 years, did not gad a good experience, tried again in 2025, still had a really disappointing experience at this dental office and would not recommend it. I found the staff to be unprofessional during multiple visits. The treatment I received not only failed to resolve my issues but actually created new problems with my teeth. Whenever I tried to bring up concerns, I felt like the explanations were redirected to unrelated follow-ups with additional dental work instead of addressing the real issue. The billing process was also very frustrating. I confirmed the cost several times before the procedure and paid the full amount that was requested, yet I still received additional bills afterward. Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and dissatisfied.

Negative experience: Horrible first experience at this dentistry. They had the gall to offer me services not covered by my insurance, even though a covered alternative was available but never mentioned. To make matters worse, they also tried to sneak in a $100 electric toothbrush that I didn’t need. I will never bring myself or my family here again. Was so mad i had to create my first negative review for any business. ever.

Negative experience: Dr. Pak and his team are very good, and as far as the service I wish I could give 5 stars, however communicating with this office is frustrating. If you are non-insured please go somewhere else. Sure it is a good deal price wise compared to other offices in the area, until you learn that they will find all sorts of ways to shrivel the value of the self-pay membership. Also whoever is handling sending out emails and mass communication from this office needs to be fired. They’ve sent me wrong information before and never followed up with a corrected email until I had to confront them about it. Edit: After my husband’s experience here today, where you dismissed his questions and concerns and basically want him to start coming in every 3 months despite being insured for 2 dental visits a year, proves that it’s just about the money for you. The hygienist was also clumsy and careless. She injured his cheek with her instrument while scraping his teeth, and it still hurts. We’ll no longer be coming here.

You are always asked if you would like a water or need to brush prior to being seen. Fantastic experience: My family and I drive all the way from Denison just to come to this office. Great place and they do a great job with kids. Most kids hate coming to the dentist I know I did as a child. My kids love it and on the plus side we always walk out with a brighter smile.

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a first visit! I was able to complete the majority of the questionnaires needed to establish new patient care beforehand so the registration process was easy. Then I had x-rays and a cool ultrasound technology to get an image of my teeth. With that being said, the staff was so polite, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately for me, I had been under below standard care from a previous dentist, and needed a deep cleaning. But it wasn’t bad at all, and I definitely feel better with the care I will be receiving at Stonelake Family Dentistry. Kimmie (sp?) and Dr. Kang were fantastic, and made the process much easier than I’m used to.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jay Kang is professional, compassionate and thorough. After comprehensive exam steps as first time visitor, Dr Jay sat down and go through details and made my decision easy. If you are using Met Life Insurance pls avoid going to this facility, this facility is considered as the Out of network and charged with the out of network prices. i was informed this facility is in network by the hospital before making appointment, after the service when i checked with Met Life with the treatment plan code they explained the charges as its charged with out of network prices. its way expensive than other providers. when I tried to talk with the provider billdesk for the details, they are very rude and refraining to respond

Negative experience: Horrible office staff. Treated me like a criminal when I wanted an itemized receipt for my child. After spending 10 years with them and like the MD, the office staff would not allow me access to my child's records when I even offered proof of my 50/50 custody. Horrible situation, poor office staff, 1 person even hung the phone up on me... Victoria! Another person told me she was "told not to talk to me." Evasive behavior, hanging up the phone, promising calls back, circular talk, no one would really address the problem. Pure discrimination. Very ugly people. Will never return. I can always find another dentist. So sorry for the horrible changes in the office!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for past few years. My wife and multiple kids have been seeing Dr. Pak. He and his team have exceeded our expectations multiple times. Wait times are minimal. Cleanliness is top notch. Dr. Pak always give adequate time and listens carefully. I never felt that they are doing any unnecessary treatments. I also got deep cleaning done here without any issue. I highly recommend this practice to any adults and kids.

Negative experience: They will change your appointment times at there discretion without telling you but as soon as you have a cancelation a full day before they are quick to apply a 100 fee. This is after bring multiple referrals to them when they where barely starting up. Work is good but they are just about the money.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family came for the first care of our dental health at StoneLake Family Dentistry and Dr. Pak and all the team were great! Very professionals, such a lovely clinic!

Negative experience: Being new to Frisco I did not know what dental facility to go to so I went to Stonelake since it was close to my home and had good reviews. Please do not go this facility. They will not take good care of you. I went in because my lower molar was hurting and I was told by Dr. Kang I did not need a root canal more than likely all I needed was a crown A temporary crown was placed and when I went in for a permanent crown the medical assistant did not use any anesthetic. I was in a lot of pain and I was told it would eventually go away. No medication was prescribed for the pain. The day after I went straight to an Endodontics office and they told me I had pulpitis and needed a root canal. They needed to drill through the new crown to do the root canal. In the end a lot of money spent. I should have been referred to an endodontist in the first place. If you are just needing a cleaning this place is probably ok but anything more serious I would not recommend. We have been recommended to other Dentist in the area by our church friends who recommened Little Big Smiles. If you need an endodontist I highly recommend The Endodontic Group: Dr Porter.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy this dentist team. Learned more about dental care here than I ever did at other places in the past 30+ years. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The hygienist taught me how to actually properly floss my teeth. I’m very diligent in my dental hygiene but I’ve been doing it wrong my whole life. All past dentists just told me to floss instead of teaching me the correct “how.” Very grateful.

He truly does the best job possible, catering to the patient’s comfort and delivers perfect results. His staff is awesome too, which is an additional bonus.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr. Pak and his team. They are punctual, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Amanda is my hygienist and she’s the best! Wonderful bedside manners, gentle on the cleaning, and remembers my preferences. I don’t feel like I’m ever being upsold on various options. I’ve had my night guard created here as well, and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Dr. Baek! He was incredibly kind, and his skill was truly impressive. All of his staff were very friendly as well. I drove an hour just to get to his office, and it was absolutely worth it. I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed, which required a very complex procedure due to the angle of the teeth. Despite the difficulty, he executed it perfectly! I suffer from vasovagal syncope, which often causes me to feel dizzy or faint when receiving anesthesia or injections. However, the anesthesia experience I had here was the most comfortable I’ve ever had. Dr. Baek made an effort to engage me in conversation to ease my nerves about the dental procedure, and he explained the post-treatment care instructions in a way that was clear and easy to understand. Even during the recovery process, I experienced minimal pain. If anyone needs dental work, I would wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation!

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much Dr. Pak for relieving my teeth sensitivity today. I literally have not been able to allow anything cold into my mouth for several weeks. I can even brush my teeth with no pain! Amanda, is my FAVORITE hygienist of all time. She always understands the assignment! She was able to clean my teeth while being extremely gentle with the sensitive areas. The entire staff have always treated me kind as if I am family! I appreciate you guys!

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The doctors are so nice and attentive & the hygienist is a sweetheart! The staff there is always so lovely and helpful to all patients regardless of age. They have TV’s playing Netflix shows during your procedures which is a nice touch as well! Never had a smoother experience at the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Update: I had my implant placed three months ago and came in today to get the crown impression done. While I was lying down, they used a small scanner to take multiple images, and the computer automatically created the crown impression, which was pretty neat! They also treated two slightly decayed teeth and filled them with tooth-colored resin. The wait time before my appointment was short, and the actual treatment didn’t take long either. Best of all, there was no pain, and my implant is progressing really well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the experience! --------- I had an excellent experience with Dr. Pak. I went in because the inside of a crown on my molar was completely decayed. This was my first visit here after trying a different dentist before. What sets this clinic apart from the last one are a few key things: 1. Thorough Examination: During the initial checkup, they checked each tooth and the surrounding gums really carefully, even pressing on the gums with a probe to rate their condition. It was way more detailed than my previous experience. 2. Advanced Imaging: They took more X-rays and photos compared to the other clinic, and all the equipment seemed really up-to-date. I even showed them the X-ray images from my previous dentist, but they took new ones because their software and image quality were different. They explained everything kindly, and I felt they were much more thorough. 3. Professional Staff: There were a lot more staff members, and everything seemed very organized and professional. But at the same time, everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. 4. Comfortable Atmosphere: I usually have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, but the atmosphere here was very relaxing. Watching TV on the ceiling helped me feel less tense, too. 5. Meticulous Scaling: The scaling was done very carefully and not rushed, unlike at other clinics where they hurry through it. Rushing can lead to mistakes like chipping teeth, so I really appreciated the careful attention to detail. 6. Dr. Pak: He is not only very professional but also super approachable and friendly. He made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving. In conclusion, the clinic is very professional while also making me feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch dental care!

I had a basic cleaning and cavity filling so they had me in and out in no time. Dr Kang was very friendly and made sure I was in safe hands.
