Fantastic experience: I visited Oak Dental in 2018 after another dental practice said I needed a lot of work that I thought was unnecessary. Dr Ashoty assured me that we could wait and watch my teeth and there was no need to do any work right away. I now have had multiple crowns repaired and Invisalign and could not be happier with the results!

Fantastic experience: I always have a pleasant and great experience each visit. The staff are so nice and scheduling is easy. They look out for my dental health and are never pushy on trying to sell unneeded procedures/products (like I’ve experienced at other places). All around it’s a great dental practice and I will continue to come here for my dental needs. Thanks for such great care and service!

Fantastic experience: Having pain from an old implant and felt that it may be infected I called Oak Dental and explained the situation. Having called late on Monday afternoon they immediately were able to see me on Wednesday morning. I received excellent care and advice from Dr. Ashoty and his staff. I feel it’s because the people here are good at what they do and make it comfortable. Office staff is friendly and professional aswell. Fantastic experience: Estimates are correct, the team is great, Dr Estes, a serving military dentist and Dr Ashoty are two very skilled dentists we can rely on. One time when I had severe pain in my wisdom tooth, Dr Ashoty made time for an emergency appointment to have it extracted. We highly recommend this practice and the entire team.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been Dr. Ashoty’s patient for over 5 years now. He is kind and knowledgeable. I recently had my first tooth implanted, which it was something I always wanted. Fantastic experience: Everybody is always welcoming and friendly. I feel at home there. The doc treats me with respect and includes me in my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I called this office in desperation one day because my dentist at the time wouldn’t extract my teeth that were causing me immense pain. I called Oak Dental holding back tears and explained the pain I was in. They got me in office as quick as possible. They actually took my pain/concerns seriously unlike my previous dentist of 10+ years that would find any reason to overcharge me. I hate going to the dentist because I always feel judged but not here. They made me 100% comfortable and after having two extractions I experienced 0 pain that day/the days following which I was worried about. Dr. Ashoty and his staff plus the receptionist (I believe her name was Donna) were all very kind and professional. Seriously can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and dentist! Our family of 6 has been going here since my kids were babies. My daughter recently chipped her front tooth at school (the day before picture day!) And Dr.Ashoty was able to fix her tooth SAME DAY so perfectly, you can't tell where her real tooth ends and the filing begins! Fantastic experience: I took my 85 year old sister to Oak Dental. She was having trouble with sore gums that prevented her from getting her Prolia infusion. The doctor examined her and took x-rays then assured us she was fine to have her infusion. They were so kind to her explained everything and are sending the necessary letter to her doctor.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient here for over 10 years. A good dentist is like a good mechanic, been to other dentists and they can give push for you to get a lot of sometimes unnecessary work done to rack up charges and make more money - never been blindsided or pressured here. I’ve had the privilege of seeing both Dr. Ashoty and Dr. Estes and they are both very honest with their work and extremely caring, can’t recommend these guys enough. I would never want to go anywhere else. Update: 09/2023 Still the best dentist I have ever been to. Years ago, I had to have an emergency root canal done and gradually I've had a small stain develop on the top of one of my front teeth. Went in this month to get a filling done on a different tooth and Dr. Ashoty took it upon himself to fix that stain for me so it's gone now! I've honestly been self-conscious about it for awhile and was incredibly grateful when he said he went ahead and fixed it real quick since I was already in the chair! He didn't have to do that at all. Went above and beyond!

Negative experience: Don't get extractions done here, 1year plus and still struggling after spending thousands of dollars in followup procedures and diagnostics to get completely healed. Post procedure care and instruction needs improvement. What good is great bed side manner without actual capability.

Fantastic experience: My family was referred to Dr Reemon Ashoty from a friend. We just moved down here to Texas and were looking for a doctor and we had the best experience ever. My mom had recently gotten her teeth worked on in Turkey last year, and her teeth pretty much fell out of place and Dr Reemon was quick to get her in and fix her teeth. She was the happiest she can be and got the help she needed. She also had an amazing experience at the office when she went in for her appointment. Would highly recommend this place 100% to anyone. We live a little far but it is totally worth the drive. Thank you so so much!!!!

Negative experience: I used to have a good experience here until recently. Went in to have a filling done and it’s been more than a month and still experiencing sensitivity. Went back to have it looked at and was told it needed to be redone since I was still experiencing sensitivity. Well it’s been a few weeks of waiting for that to happen since they are fully booked with no available appointments sooner. Also frustrated that I’ve been repeatedly told by the front desk that I have to be seen by the same doctor who did it before. I am uncomfortable and their priority is to only schedule me with the same doctor who only shows up on Fridays. My priority is to be comfortable when I drink or eat. I don’t feel heard and I am frustrated.

Fantastic experience: I really like this dental office. They are so friendly. I hate going to the dentist but they reassured me that it would be ok. Taren is so gentle when cleaning my teeth. Always has great tips on keeping my teeth clean and problem areas at bay. There is never any pressure on getting something fixed or treated. I recommend Oak!

Fantastic experience: I have not met any Dentist who is more caring and helpful as Dr. Ashoty. I was in pain due to an infection of a tooth and my whole face was swollen. It was a week end and ice storm outside. Doctor answered my telephone within 5 min. of my message. He asked me to send the photo of my tooth and the mouth. Re responded and advised me with lot of compassion what to do. It was such a relief . His staff also was good enough to squeeze me in for an appointment to consult in person with Dr. Ashoty. Fantastic experience: I recently had to have most of my top teeth pulled after years of dealing with bad teeth. Dr. Starr Leva came up with a plan to do an upper partial in lieu of a full plate denture, as he felt it was a better option for my circumstances. The upper partial fit perfectly, and was comfortable on day one. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and care I've received from the Oak Dental staff over the years, so I will continue to use Oak Dental for years to come.

Fantastic experience: This is the first dental visit I have had in over 10 years. I had multiple bad experiences at dental offices as a child and young man and developed a bit of Dental Phobia which caused me to neglect my dental health/hygiene. The whole staff at Oak Dental is amazing. Brenda made check in a breeze. Jenny did a phenomenal job making sure I was comfortable and she was very thorough in explaining what procedures would be performed. Dr. Ashoty setup a plan to take care of all my dental needs and I left with clear expectations for next steps and what procedures were most priority to get me back onto a baseline maintenance cleaning schedule.

Fantastic experience: I was in for a short assessment and relieved it wasn’t a huge problem. They then were able to give me an appointment the same day for full cleaning and exam. The Dentists are some new and some I knew from 2016 - my last visit. The front desk staff, tech, and Dr Ashoty were all pleasant to work with. Dr A remembered me from 2016! Fantastic experience: Painless and thorough. Great informative dental care. I researched the education of Dr. Estes. He is a graduate of University of Michigan dental school. University of Michigan is number one in the country, and number two in the world. My crowns were not made in house… So he’s not a crown salesman. This practice has only given me everything I’ve needed. They go above and beyond to litigate with my insurance providers. He uses the best anesthesia and dental materials to service his patients. It’s a little more expensive on the practice but it was the best experience I ever had. He works and lives in the community he serves. He also serves his country at the sacrifice of his practice. An officer and a gentleman. Thank you Oak Dental, again!

My appointment on January 5, 2022, was fantastic and I learned several things that help me immensely. They are great!

Fantastic experience: The Best Dentist in Collin County!! IJenny is the BEST hygenist! I've had a lot of bad experiences and Oak Dental has saved me from bad dentistry. They are kind, friendly, and don't nickel and dime you. They take great care of you. I will never go anywhere else again.

Negative experience: I made an appointment with Dr. Estes so he could make another re-aligner for me. This is an item placed in the mouth after wearing a night guard to make sure the natural bite stays in place. I have been coming to Dr. Estes for several years and was diligent about seeing him every 6 months for routine exams. Previous to this appointment he commented that my bite was off so he suggested the re-aligner. He charged me a self-pay of 25 dollars which was acceptable. I wear this re-aligner every morning for at least 30 minutes. My re-aligner had cracked and I needed another one. Upon entering my exam pod yesterday, he immediately displayed aggressive behavior by launching into why I was there with no greeting or welcome. I responded by saying, “Good morning, how are you?” He did not answer, ignored my greeting and continued with why I was there. He seemed unusually nervous and was not the congenial person that I had seen during past appointments. Perhaps he was just having a bad day? But then he left and went to the other exam pods and I heard him talking to other patients and he sounded like the Dr. Estes that I was familiar with…..patient, kind, listening and explaining. He returned to my pod, saying, “Alright let’s get this re-aligner made.” He came over to my chair and asked me to close my teeth and relax my jaw several times. He checked my back teeth and said they were not meeting. He then began negatively with “this is not what I do for a living, you need to go back to where you got your night guard from, etc.” He ended with the last comment “how do you eat?” I answered “slowly.” I felt like his whole reaction to my situation was definitely deliberate. He knew what he was doing. There was something else that was obviously bothering him about my situation but he did not possess the candor or transparency to actually tell me. Like a child, he was “acting out” in a situation where he had complete control and yet he chose to deal with it in this manner. He ”walked’ me to the front desk, mumbling something to the staff member about his decision and then he said “ no charge.” He seemed quite relieved that his “part” was over and, looked at me and said “sorry” with a total lack of sincerity. Digressing, months before my husband saw my re-aligner and decided to have one made since he also wears a night guard. He went to Dr. Estes and what I paid 25 dollars for Dr. Estes wanted to charge him 100.00. My husband refused and so they settled on 50 dollars……still 25 dollars above what I paid just months before. We have always paid our dental bills and had no outstanding balance. I have gone deep in my soul to try to analyze why there was such an overreaction to my problem yesterday. He actually refused to help me by never offering a referral to an orthodontist or any other professional who could help me. I just saw Dr. Estes for my routine visit on July 5. (Yesterday was August 25) If this was such a huge problem, why then was it not discussed during my last appointment? Why he did he wait until now to overreact to my bite issue? I literally felt like garbage kicked to the curb by this human. I did not speak and only listened since I was truly blindsided by his most unprofessional behavior. My husband called yesterday and cancelled both of our six-month routine appointments. There are plenty of good dentists in Frisco who understand the importance of professional behavior. Unfortunately, yesterday’s episode completed destroyed any trust we had in Dr. Estes and obviously will not be returning to witness more of his unprofessional behavior. He could have presented this in a calmer way and discussed it with me using logical communication. But unfortunately he made the choice to approach it in a very negative manner. I have since found another dentist who is a very knowledgeable and happens to be both dedicated and helpful -by understanding the importance of intelligent adult communication when dealing with patients.

Fantastic experience: I have sensitive gums and used to dread going to the dentist.. my mouth used to ache for the rest of the day. The hygienists at oak dental are fabulous at what they do. They are kind and pleasant and GENTLE. I would even go so far to say I feel pampered in their care. I didn't know that was an experience you could attribute to a teeth cleaning lol. Anyways, both doctors are incredibly pleasant as well and I no longer avoid going to the dentist. 5 stars again and again.

Fantastic experience: Oak Dental, is just the best. Starting with the receptionist, the hygienist then the dentist. They have been very supportive, and encouraging me to make good choices for the my dental health. They are Conservative in their care and NO Unnecessary procedures. The office staff are kind and the office provides a COVID-19 safe and comfortable environment. Although, I will say that I haven't had the best experiences with a few of the dental hygienists. I would still recommend Oak Dental Frisco.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for many years with my daughter. They are amazing! Anytime I had an emergency, or what I felt like was an emergency, they were able to work me in. Dr Estes and Dr Ashoty are both amazing, kind and passionate doctors! There’s no other place I would go to. For my cleanings, I always see Brenda. My daughter loves seeing her as well as she is extremely gentle and kind.

(Not a fan of dentists) Dr. Estes is an amazing guy, and gave me all the info I need to get ready for my wisdom teeth removal next month. Thank you Oak Dental team for being so personable and professional!! **So I got my wisdom teeth removed and it was nerve racking going into it, however Dr.Estes reassured me it wotld be ok and was very generous with the laughing gas and numbing medicine. I felt I could trust him the entire time, and he removed all 4 (big A**) teeth quicker than planned!
