Fantastic experience: I have never been treated more kindly and respectfully as I was today. I had a tooth extracted, and experienced no pain or discomfort during the procedure. Doctor Merideth did an excellent job! The Brimhall staff is professional, capable, and caring. I would highly recommend Brimhall Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal. I've been to a few different dentists and the folks at Brimhall St Paul are the best by far. They're friendly, respectful, informative, & kind. They take their patients' health and comfort seriously. I moved away but stayed on as a patient at this location because the team is well worth the bi-annual trek. This is the place I recommend to my friends with dental anxiety or "bad teeth." Because I know they'll be treated kindly.

Fantastic experience: Don't be fooled by the small, unassuming building this dental office is located in in this cute pocket of St. Paul. Dr. Merideth is a WORLD CLASS-level provider. I've lived and worked all over the country and world, and I can say with joy and confidence that she is the sort of provider that not only meets a high level of care for your basic annual needs, but helps you think ahead about your oral health as you age. She referred me to a periodontist for a new issue I've never experience. The referral process was easy, in-network (without me thinking about it), and managed so seamlessly (thanks as well to her front desk/admin team- who are all sparkly, kind and wonderful humans too). Dr. Merideth is hella smart, on top of it, and a total female boss in the neighborhood. I'm proud to go here (never said that about a Dentist!), and while yes it's true that the care is phenonmenal, it also just makes me so happy to support a female-owned clinic by the kind of woman I'm proud to admire as an exemplary Mother, small business owner and neighbor. Dental Assistant Stephanie was also SOOO professional and soo cool and kind. Another example of the type of human/provider in Minnesota that makes me say, "Daymn! MN is a phenomenal place to live with amazing and professional people in it!" Thank you for building this practice as you have. It's honestly an incredible place with incredible people. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! The first pain free dentistry I’ve ever had. I love that my crown was made in-house, so everything was done in one appointment, and use of CAD technology meant that there was no molds or impressions. Dr. Nick explained everything as he went, and took into account my prior dental trauma, without dismissing me as a person. Thank you! That was several years ago. Still great service with caring, knowledgeable professionals who don’t try to upsell me wth services I don’t need. Still enjoying expert care from Dr. Meredith and Kathryn. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nick extracted a big molar as the first step in needing an implant. I was extremely pleased and it was much less traumatic than my previous extraction & implant. The Edina office is easy to access, has plenty of parking and a friendly staff. I use the Brimhall St Paul office for my standard dental care and highly recommend Brimhall Dentistry for all your dental needs! They have 3 locations in the metro area.

Fantastic experience: The office is always clean and they even have a little library of books to read, but I never get a chance because I never have to wait very long. The dental hygienists are very good, caring, and knowledgeable. The dentists are friendly and do a thorough job of checking for problems. They accept a lot of different dental insurance coverage. They always do an oral cancer screening. I will continue to use this dental office.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to what has recently become Brimhall Dentistry in the Edina office for a lifetime. First time visiting the Brimhall Dentistry office in their St. Paul location this week as they are a participating provider under my new health insurance plan. Only difference of note is that my travel time increased a bit but the service delivered by the staff was on the same level of excellence as it is at the Edina location!

Fantastic experience: Through the years, I’ve been to many dentists, but none as caring, considerate, and personable as Brimhall. I grew up with a dental phobia. Brimhall is as close to pain free as dental work can be. Dentists with “heart”! If you need a dentist or have avoided dentists, Brimhall should be your next choice.

Positive experience: I have been associated with this dentist office for over 40 years and although the staff has changed, it is still a wonderful place. The front office people are always warm and friendly - I love seeing Sarah each time I come in. And Pam is an excellent hygienist, always making sure the patient is doing okay throughout the cleaning process.

Negative experience: It is hard to get an appointment. My son wasn’t able to make an appointment and it was several months before they got him in. My daughter just finished a cleaning and next available appt is 8 months from now.

Fantastic experience: If you can call xrays and teeth cleaning pleasant, I had a pleasant visit. I felt safe and it was nice to see the hygenist being protected as well. The receptionist is wonderful, even called me early from home the day my hygenist got sick and had to cancel. That extra step helped me to replan my day while I was still having my first cup of coffee.

Fantastic experience: So impressed by this dental office! I had been putting off the dentist for some time (since pre COVID times) and Brimhall Dentistry was extremely accommodating at getting me in for a limited exam when I was experiencing some pain. Within a week from becoming a new patient I had a treatment plan and was scheduled promptly for my fillings. While they were booked out for cleanings, I was able to get in sooner than expected! Dr. Meredith always makes sure I’m comfortable and pain free. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this office enough!

Fantastic experience: Both dentists in this husband and wife team are very friendly and competent and the dental hygienists and office staff are great. I really like the personal care and attention I've received from this small clinic. I've mostly seen them for cleaning and check ups, but during the pandemic Dr. Shulte diagnosed an issue that was causing me a lot of pain (cracked tooth) and really helped me out. First, he got me an emergency appointment with an endodontist to remove the bad tooth. Later, he worked with an oral surgeon to replace the tooth with an implant.

Negative experience: I had an awful experience with Brimhall Dentistry in St Paul and I honestly would recommend anybody looking for the most basic dental cleanings go elsewhere. Jodi on the front desk staff has been rude, cold, and passive aggressive. Jodi gets very defensive and blunt when I would verify my billing questions with her. The billing situation is bad, they add credit card fees, steep no show fees inside of 48 hours, and don't work with you on bills. Jodi is always incredibly passive aggressive that I did not partake in their text reminders, because when I did I was bombarded with text blasts. I strongly suggest that anyone who goes here double check every line of their bill. When I asked to speak directly with the dentist about my concerns, Jodi brushed me off and refused to connect me, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. With a standing disagreement on one bill, and the inability to speak directly to the owner of the business, they dropped me as a patient within less than a month of being seen. Also if you're a parent you should know they take pictures the kids that go to their practice and post them for anybody to see, I feel as though that is not a safe practice for the local neighborhood. The whole experience still leaves me feeling taken advantage of and completely disrespected. I would never recommend this place to anyone if they have to talk to Jodi. If you care about being treated decently and not getting nickel and dimed for everything, stay away from Brimhall Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I specifically am writing this review to acknowledge Dr. Nick. It was suggested that I would benefit from a night guard, and it was expensive and not covered by insurance. Due to some issues during the fitting process, I was allowed to take it home on a trial basis and try it on my own without paying for it, and would not owe anything if I concluded that it wasn't going to work for me. I thought this was a very thoughtful gesture.

Dr. Schulte is wonderful, I really appreciate how thorough she is with her explanations regarding any questions I might have. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm in the process of a having a dental implant made. I stopped in today for a review of the the progress of the "graft" and to have some stitches removed. As usual, I had questions about what's been done, what we're doing today and what lay ahead. All was answered patiently and clearly in whatever time it took. The procedure went ahead with, as usual, my comfort in mind. I've come to know Drs. Schulte and both the clinical and "desk" staff on a somewhat personal level. This makes for a relaxed vibe. Their work is excellent. I'd tried other dental clinics in the area but since finding them some years ago, I'll definitely stay. My wife, too. Jeff Stanko

Fantastic experience: The neighborhood Moms group was right; Brimhall Dentistry is a GREAT place for kids! I was blown away with how comfortable everyone made my child at his first dental appointment. Stephanie, the hygienist, is a magician with children. She spoke to him with such detail, care, and kindness. She was patient with his impulsive interruptions, and made sure he always knew what to expect and what to do. For a small dental office without a bunch of screens and flashy kid stuff, they provided care to my child that exceeded my expectations. They even have a fancy XRay machine for when the bite wings are too big for such little jaws (or too miserable for big jaws!), which I was surprised by. The only downside is that they don’t have the set up to handle multiple kiddo cavities (gas and/or calming meds to help your kiddo make it through such a long and unpleasant procedure), so we have to refer out to a specialist for what will need to be a one-time but very taxing fillings procedure.

My oldest was seen recently for a repair on a chipped front tooth. My youngest with autism is also very happy to sit in the chair for a check up. They are so accommodating in every way. I can’t recommend them enough. I’m so glad that I selected Brimhall when I moved to the neighborhood a couple years ago. Kathryn is the best and I love our brief encounters at exams. She feels like a friend.

Fantastic experience: I received a new temporary crown from Brimhall Dentistry today and will go back in two weeks for a permanent crown. Despite always having a painless experience with this staff, I was a little anxious, but soon relaxed under their warm and friendly care. I trust their professionalism competency.

Fantastic experience: Smart nice staff (all levels) and great modern technology. The building is not some overdone place in some expensive neighborhood and this fits my own values well. There's a great coffee place nearby in case you need a latte while your kids get work on their teeth. Plus there are free beverages in the light and comfortable lobby if you would like to stay put. The Dr. Schulte team are great; just like good ole' Dr. Fischbach. What's not to love?

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Brimhall Dentistry for over 6 years now and I have only had the most positive patient experience! The office is situated in a convenient location, the parking lot is small but there is ample street parking. The office itself is very clean, cozy and welcoming. As a patient I prioritize receiving care from a local practice and Brimhall Dentistry is exactly that. All staff are friendly and build trust and rapport with the patients. Dr. Merideth is wonderful! She had great chair side manners, is communicative and informs the patient of her work process and overall does a great job with all dental work!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Meredith yesterday. It took about two hours. I was struck by how attentive she and her assistant were to my comfort, asking if I was experiencing any pain and reassuring me that everything was going well. I did not have any pain and felt I was in good hands (literally). The entire staff take a personal interest in my care. After I went home, Dr. Meredith contacted me twice to check on how I was doing, this felt above and beyond what I would have expected from any healthcare provider. I’m so lucky to be a patient at Brimhall Dentistry.

They do great with VERY active toddlers, and adults who dread going to the dentist. Cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I chose this dentist office initially because it is within walking distance to my home. It reminds me of the small-town dentist office I frequented as a child. I am so happy to have found a "small town feel" dentist in St. Paul. They provide great service and have a fabulous staff!

Fantastic experience: Both Dr Schultes (husband and wife) provide excellent care and are extremely friendly. They explain everything as they go and I am very pleased with my care. I will also add that pretty much EVERYBODY I’ve encountered in the St Paul office, whether it be office staff, hygienists or others, are all very pleasant to deal with. It is clear that it is an environment that is geared towards patient support and kindness all around. I highly recommend them!!

Fantastic experience: Today at my regular cleaning appointment Dr. Meredith found slight decay around a very old filing. I was able schedule an appointment to have the problem remedied by using composite to address the decay. The appointment at a time convenient for me is one week from today. I am grateful for Hygenist Katherine and Dentist Dr. Meredith for helping me keep my mouth and teeth healthy.
