Positive experience: The staff was very helpful with my insurance questions.

Fantastic experience: Came in with a crown that came off needless to say I was upset. Well my insurance wasn’t going to cover this, again very upset because I would have to wait until the first to be able to pay and even that was going to be difficult. To my surprise while in the waiting room, while calling for my ride, staff called me back in. Confused I wiped my eyes and followed in. All the staff was standing in front of the door way, said to me, sit back down, we’re going to get you fixed! Who does this? Needless to say I left with happy tears and a crown placed! Thank you so much to all the staff!

Positive experience: This office is excellent with patient care. However, they need to do a better job with organizing and scheduling patients in a timely manner. I am being bounced back and forth between this office and Arden Town Dental and back again to this office to see the primary dentist for fillings. Now that I need to go back for fillings to my primary here, now the scheduler cannot schedule me because Arden Town Dental has not finished their charting on my case. I was seen two days ago, why is charting not finished? I should not be waiting for a dentist to finish their charting so I can get scheduled while I remain in pain. Unacceptable.

Negative experience: They deserve ZERO stars. The staff here is unprofessional and inefficient with properly scheduling appointments for patients and taking them in a timely manner. They also do not call back when you leave a message, or when it's time for your next appointment. The waiting room is extremely small and only about 6 chairs and its always over crowded. Then when my son went to get x-rays the first time they weren't going to cover him like they're supposed to until I said something. On our next appointment they said they needed to do x-rays again because they don't have a record of them being done...... and again, wasn't going to cover him until I said something. We needed to reschedule his last appointment due to life, and they said because I am going to reschedule it we can only be put on a waitlist for an appointment, but there is no guarantee we would even be seen if they are too busy. Are you serious?! What kind of policy is that? Absolutely absurd. I highly suggest not waisting your time or money here and finding a better, more professional practice.

Negative experience: Didn't fully explain what to do after tooth tree extraction.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my daughter who is two years old. I could not make it for the appointment I called over 24 hours ahead not 48 because do to when I found out. I couldn't make it. I have never been late or had issues. The lady said she made new appointment. I get a message saying I didn't show up to the appointment. Then a message I am on waiting list. My daughter is. My theory is is, because they take Medi-Cal recipients. What they're doing.Is for any reason and medi-cal recipient just less than 48 hours calls to cancel their appointment. They charge the insurance company even if they have legitimate reasons to cancel or found out they had to cancel not within the 48 hours.24 hours is reasonable there is so many legitimate reasons why people cannot show up to a doctor's appointment.

Negative experience: Had deep cleaning and crown done here and when i tried to see them again for complaining about work they tried to reschedule me 3 different times. I couldn’t wait and paid out of pocket for another dentist to chart me. Turns out plaque was still there and didn’t deep clean anything at all. When i brought this up to them (appointment was day after I saw other dentist) they told me the other dentists office CHARTED WRONG. Just complete lies to cover themselves. What’s worse is when you bring this up to the “manager” Ebony—her response was laughter. When I asked what was funny she said “this is just my face” as she rolled her eyes. They Refused to give me a refund for my 500$ on spending for this crown they placed incorrectly, and told me upper management will be in touch. Let’s see if that ever happens. If you’ve been here and have had work done and your gums continue to bleed it’s cause they aren’t cleaning them properly. They want you to keep coming back so they can gas light you that you aren’t doing enough so they can keep giving you these ‘deep cleanings’. The dentists solution to my crown still being in pain was chiseling it down even MORE than when she originally put it on. this is a chop shop dentist. RUN!

Negative experience: Been waiting for fillings from them for over a year. they cancel your appointments, never give any appointments in a timely manner. I have one filling that I had tried to get them to check since it's been off since they put in. They don't do true cleanings, only polishing. Wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: These guys are so responsible and reliable. I’m proud of them.

Negative experience: Had an appointment early Saturday. I was there five minutes early. I waited 20 minutes, and was told that they were super busy and needed to reschedule. At that point, it would have been fine as stuff happens sometimes. But instead of a new time I was told they would call me later same day to make a new appointment. They did not call. I sent a message the next day (yesterday). Still no response or call. I don't know why someone would schedule me and then cancel after I got there and then lie about rescheduling :(

Fantastic experience: Amazing front office staff. Great at returning calls. My toddler and I both come here and I was very surprised at how great the office is with their patients. I was hesitant due to prior experiences from another office with medi-cal insurance, but I was treated with care and respect from the staff here. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to City of Trees Dental a week ago to have a tooth issue seen (a cavity). Today, I just had the same dentist do the fillings and I’m so happy and satisfied! The team was great. The staff is great. I’m so grateful.

Negative experience: Extremely Long Wait and No Care Provided. My son had an appointment at this dental office, but we ended up waiting for almost an hour and a half and he still didn’t get to see the doctor. Having an appointment should mean being seen close to the scheduled time, especially for a child. The long wait with no care provided was very frustrating. I eventually had to leave the office and switch to another dentist. I hope they improve their scheduling and respect patients’ time in the future.

Negative experience: My wife and I had high hopes for this place considering the overall good reviews. My wife had an abcess and was told she needed her tooth pulled. We scheduled her appointment as soon as we could as both they and another dentist said it was urgent. A while before the procedure, she developed a fever, chills, fatigue, and a partially numb tongue with pain radiating through part of the tongue. My wife called their office when that happened, leaving voicemails and sending emails and did not get a response for several days. She ended up going to the ER to get checked out and obtain more antibiotics. During the ER visit, it was made apparent to us that death is a very real possibility in these cases and there is zero time to waste. They called my wife several days later with wonderful news that they could move her up by 4 days - my wife and I were both very relieved. On the day of the scheduled procedure my wife calls me bawling and panicked. They had to cancel her appointment because something came up. They then pushed her appointment back by 5 days. She had already taken off work and had to find someone to cover for her - not to mention by this point she had already been on antibiotics for a month and very possibly could have died. We never heard back from them after that.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office. Max and Abby in the front are very kind and professional. They offered free water bottles & mints for patients in the lobby. The dentist is fabulous & efficient. Dakota, I believe she was one of the dental assistants, did my cleaning she was very thorough and sweet. This is my second visit ever & I’ve had great experiences both times. Even though I moved 20 mins away, I will choose to come back here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit at City of Trees Dental and I was very impressed with how things went! Though the news they had for me wasn’t great and my treatment plan is involved, I didn’t feel overwhelmed. The office staff, dental assistants, and doctor were all very thoughtful. Zohra was particularly kind and put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: They’re very nice and helpful. I started attending this dental office in August 2025. I was initially scheduled for an appointment in November 2025, but unfortunately, the dentist had planned a vacation. The team was able to find me an earlier appointment, which was a plus. During the visit, we discovered I needed another appointment, and I was lucky enough to be booked for the next available day — another bonus! I really enjoy the staff, including Dejona, the dental assistant who supports the dentist; Dakota, whom I met during my first visit; and Zohra, who helped find availability for double booking. Overall, it’s a great environment!

Negative experience: I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but today’s experience at this dental clinic was unacceptable. I’ve been bringing my three children here without issues until now. First, they falsely claimed I hadn’t confirmed the appointment and rescheduled it for today. After waiting an hour in the lobby and another 10 minutes in the exam room, the nurse told me to wait outside because she forgot to clean the room after the previous patient. When I questioned the cleanliness of the tools, she responded rudely, saying, “Because I’m telling you.” This made me lose trust in their hygiene practices, so I left without trusting them to treat my son and will contact my insurance to find a new dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: I love the Carmichael location! Everyone there is nice, and personable. I had my daughter and I come get work done and Dakota, Dei, Max, Abi and Ebony all make me feel welcome and a part of a family away from my family! They help where they can and all give exceptional service!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Baban hands down was the best and went over everything in detail. Dental Plan and schedule. The staff was extremely professional and the office was super clean and I would have to recommend and 10/10 on this one. I hate the dentist and I will tell you that this one was one of the BEST experiences. Her assistant Dakota. Love her. Super friendly, knowledgeable and extremely time mannered. ABSOLBUTELY love this place and I will be for sure returning to this office and keeping them.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE..... My husband was a patient, he went in 2 different times for a filling coming out. The second time they said the tooth was infected and they would call out an antibiotic(that they called out a day later) and made him an appointment for a month with a specialist to do a root canal. He ended up in the hospital for 3 days on IV antibiotics because the infection went into his blood stream. Once released we made 2 different appointments for the root canal and both were canceled. He went back in to again to schedule an appointment, they saw him that day to put yet another temporary filling in but discovered the tooth was know cracked and made him an appointment for a month again to have it looked at. We finally went to another dentist who got him right in and the tooth was cracked below the gum line and had to be removed and stitched.

Fantastic experience: Even though my kids were taken in very late for their appoinment,city of trees in parficular zora took really good care of them and the appoinment didn't seem rushed at all. Everything was done from A to Z with a very professional attitude. The staff showed that patients matter more. Thank you city of trees and Zora.

Negative experience: Let me start off the fact that the front desk staff was amazing . I have no issues when it came down to them . My dentist seemed to be super stressed because they were short staffed , and my extraction was done by her only at first , which was not her fault , but someone didn’t show up to work . I’ve waited almost an hour in the lobby past my appointment time , another hour at the room itself . My xray clearly showed that my wisdom tooth was impacting my 3 molar , which I feel like should’ve given a heads up for a proper approach . I was planning to keep my wisdom tooth . Because it he doctor was so stressed and in a rush , my perfectly healthy wisdom tooth got chipped in extraction of my molar so bad , that it also had to be removed . So when I went to take one tooth out , I ended up being out of two , which was not according to plan and extremely upsetting to me .

I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and somehow my insurance changed me to another office and I was extremely upset and I made sure they changed me back to this office. The staff at the front desk receptionist they’re all extremely nice and very polite

Negative experience: I don’t know why these office has such bad attitude it’s my first and the surgeon was a black girl and I’m 16 years old she didn’t even wanna talk with my mom or even let her explain I don’t know if she was pregnant or in a bad mood but if she doesn’t like her job why is she working there then so I don’t recommend this office at all

Fantastic experience: City of Trees Dental is one of the best offices I’ve visited. Very professional. I love the text reminders the easy check-in, but most of all I love the women who are practicing dentistry. Their hands are petite. They know what they’re doing. I feel confident I will leave with a great smile. And who needs laughing gas when the assistant has you laughing so much before the procedure starts. I wish I would’ve gotten everyone’s name so I can praise them all. Thank you Zhora and everybody who worked with me this morning!

Fantastic experience: Abby was so welcoming and kind, she got me checked in as soon as possible and Dejona got me done with X-rays, imaging, and into my room quickly and was very friendly and made me feel so welcome. These ladies really know how to make a customer feel welcome and comfortable especially at the dentist office! Looking forward to my next appointment.

Negative experience: This place is awful.. Martin has the worst customer service EVER!!! They do not explain anything, the rush you put of the office, and they don’t care if you have infection they won’t do anything about it. Make you wait weeks while the infection spreads. Stay away!

Fantastic experience: My visit to Family Trees dental went very well. I walked into my appointment which i was told on the spot got canceled due to complications with confirmation calls. However, they were still able to provide me with service and booked me for the day and had me wait 15 min until my name was called. The routine checkup I had scheduled went really well and the nurse doing my cleaning, Zora, was very helpful.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this office for dental care Please understand that the staff is all very nice and accommodating. That is wonderful and so important. But when it comes to dental, the actual dental services is way more important. I scheduled an appointment for an exam and a cleaning Initially, when I went back, they were gonna do x-rays right off the back. Which is fine, but I’d asked to confirmed that I was there for a cleaning. The assistant who apparently is new stated we have to do your x-ray first, and then we’ll see if there’s anything to clean. To my knowledge teeth are clean twice a year regardless of if there’s something that you see needs to be cleaned or not. That’s why you go to the dentist for an upgraded in depth, cleaning other than your daily brushing and flossing. We did the x-rays and then the doctor came in and said well there’s nothing to really clean so we’re just gonna do a floss and polish. I said while I’m here for an actual cleaning with scaling and the ultrasonic to remove any buildup. She said it’s really not necessary because you don’t have anything. But under my understanding you get a cleaning twice a year because you are doing it as a prevent build up. Never mind you they willingly agreed to do the cleaning and they did use the ultrasonic device, but it was not thorough. It was not precise and it wasn’t a good cleaning. Mind you this was done by the Doctor Who is supposed to know better. Then she had the assistant finish off with the polishing, and this girl pressed on my teeth with the device. She was knocking it against my front teeth, and I was really worried on whether she was going to chip a tooth or not. A good cleaning should take about 30 min and always consist of good scaling, appropriate use of the ultrasonic device and then polishing and flossing. The doctors part literally took five minutes. I don’t even think five minutes. Not to mention she was very rough going over my gums not around. Super unpleasant and uncomfortable. I give this office a one star review because they’re not thorough on the Cleaning and that is the number one preventative measure for good gum and mouth health.

Negative experience: This is my experience I visited tow times This location City of Trees Dental just they come talked and go back never check my teeth they said we can’t retreat but if you can’t retreat why you give as appointment please please do not choose this city trees dental it is they worse dental clinic and it is very poor service. Negative experience: The waiting room is so small people ar waiting outside at times I see why they have only one person to accompany no more, so if you have any toddlers make sure to arrange childcare so your not sitting in a hot car for a long time because I took my sister in June for a checkup they told her needs extraction they scheduled a month out to just go and have her sit in a back room for 2 hours for a surgeon just to come in and tell her yea she needs them extracted like umm that took two hours sat there longer then being seeing and we already knew they needed to be extracted we thought it was treatment appointment and then they wanted to schedule her another month out just for the extraction but requested sooner since she will not be in town and the day before they canceled her appointment just one day ahead as if I didn’t already ask my job for the day off to accommodate her transportation DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS OFFICE of last two occurrences.

Dakota was very kind and did her job really well, she kept checking in on me as I was waiting for the main doctor which I appreciated very much. Fantastic experience: From Iverson and Olsen orthodontia, to many other oral surgeons in South SC, I have been enormously impressed with the bedside manner and expertise of Abi. She has made me feel less insecure and more comfortable than any other person of specialty in the Sacramento area. I would 100% return to her and seek more expertise through this company based on her accommodations. Will definitely be recommending this dental office to my friends alike.

Fantastic experience: The whole office staff was the best as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and all my concerns and questions were answered. I got an extraction today and Venessa was the best she made sure I felt comfortable because I was so nervous she talked me through it all I feel like she went above and beyond Dr Kim also was super quick and also very gentle! Fantastic experience: Today, my dentist, Dr. Zohra, did an exceptional job during my appointment. She was professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail and calming demeanor really stood out, especially when explaining each step clearly and checking in to make sure I wasn’t in any discomfort. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I left the clinic feeling well cared for and grateful to have such a skilled and compassionate dentist.

Doctor Baban was knowledgeable in answering my questions about a Tooth implant and got me in and out, dental assistants are very caring, friendly and gentle. The service is professional, timely, and exceeded my expectations. Everyone I interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of work provided. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Mrs.Dakota and the dental team, and I must say, the dental assistant was outstanding! From the moment I arrived, they were warm, attentive, and made me feel at ease throughout my visit.

Fantastic experience: Took my three-year-old son in for a dental visit and had such a great experience! Dakota was incredibly patient and kind with him, which made the whole visit go so smoothly. She was very thorough but gentle, and made sure my son felt comfortable the entire time. The process was quick and easy, and we left with smiles all around. Positive experience: The staff are super sweet and the dentists seem to know what they are doing. I mostly appreciate the hospitality and attention of the front desk and dentist's assistant Zora. The dentists are okay, but tend not to explain enough as they go.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here since last year, have had an extraction and a root canal with them. They are so kind and make sure I'm not in pain, and have been considerate in making sure I'm as comfortable as possible. The front office has also been very helpful in the past, quickly getting back to me when I call and looking into everything I ever have questions about. One of the better dental experiences I've had.

Fantastic experience: Positive and warm energy right off the bat. The people upfront were welcoming, very informative, professorial and very guiding. My 8 year old son was very comfortable, he was explained everything very politely and kindly by all the attendees and the doctors who saw him today. I Highly recommend these for all your dental checkups, clean ups and thorough guidance for all your future concerns and potential pre dental problems. Great effort was put in very patiently and professionally that really impressed me. Five stars plus for this dental clinic and the staff.

Front desk clerks Abi and Max were very friendly and put you at ease if you have any anxieties about going to the dentist! I give City of Trees Dental five stars!!

Fantastic experience: Really nice clean. Dakota was my medical assistant (lead assistant) she went above and beyond to help me she came out the office to ensure I make it to my appointment and I appreciate that instead of calling me once and saying I left. Very nice and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a regular cleaning and was treated very well. Waiting time was about 15min, which usually it take longer at other places. I was asked if I was uncomfortable or if I had pain during X-rays, normally they just “bite take the pic and move on” . Here they accommodate. Zohra one of the girls working there was soo sweet and very helpful. I have upcoming appointments for my daughters and am happy to bring them. I highly recommend City of Trees Dental, from when you walk in with the front desk up until you meet the dentist

Fantastic experience: My mother had appointment here and I can’t tell you how stratified she was with the office. She is a cancer patient and she was very well taken care of by Zohra. She prayed for her well being and made sure my mother feels well. I recommend this office for everyone because the experience that my mother had was awesome and now i feel more confident by sending her there alone knowing workers like zohra are there to take care of their patients!!! Love it

Fantastic experience: Dakota is such a badass. Going to the dentist is most definitely my least favorite thing to do. This girl will roll with you, and literally take the time to ride it out at your just to make it a little less traumatic for you. Main reason I keep coming back. Front desk is rocking it out with the text reminders, constant communication. They really do meet you halfway. Matter of fact, city of trees dental staff game: STRONG. And they make all the difference. I don’t feel like an insect in a scary place waiting to be dissected as much. Appreciate you guys❤️

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety when going to the dentist and I was treated with care and compassion. Before anything was done it was communicated and also, I was asked if I was okay throughout the whole process. A big thank you to my dental hygienist Dakota for making this the best dental experience I’ve ever had, she was very kind and made me feel comfortable through the visit even after I bit her. Even after the appointment the receptionist helping me make future appointments was very kind, patient and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience is very welcoming, warm and professional. I'm not sure how to spell the names of the two young women at the front desk, but they were incredibly polite, respectful, and helpful.
