Negative experience: This is the unprofessional clinic I have ever experienced. I had a very bad experience there. When I went for the appointment, I was told that only one specific treatment would be performed. However, I was not allowed to accompany my child inside. When they brought my child back to me, I realized that several of her teeth had been extracted without my knowledge or consent. This situation was extremely upsetting and unacceptable for me. In addition, whenever I think about it, I become concerned that the clinic may have submitted additional or unnecessary charges to the insurance company. I never recommend people to take their children their.

Positive experience: I went here for the first time yesterday with my son. Upon arrival there were a bunch of people waiting in the lobby and overflowing outside. I was pleasantly surprised that all staff members were professional and friendly even though it was chaotic. We waited about a half hour until we were called. My only issue is that, when we were called to the back to have our exam we were put into a big room with about twenty five other people. I believe they had 8 exam chairs all lined up for patients and all the other bodies were people’s family members and staff. No open windows, coughing people, no ventilation, and it was very warm in there. It was actually kinda gross . Like a refugee camp. Other than that, the people who work here are very helpful

She provides outstanding care with great dedication, professionalism, and hard work. Miss Armaghan always goes above and beyond her role. Her kindness and gentle approach make a big difference, especially during fluoride treatments. As a parent, it is essential to me that my children receive compassionate and gentle care, and Armaghan always exceeds our expectations. My youngest child is only three years old and is very sensitive to new people and environments. However, during visits to this Clinic with Miss Armaghan, she becomes calm, comfortable and playful, because of Armaghan's gentle and caring manner. Armaghan's gentle care for my children makes us feel truly valued and respected. Armaghan creates a positive experience that helps my kids feel safe and encourages them to maintain good dental habits. We feel fortunate and are very grateful for the exceptional care we have received from Miss Armaghan. Clinics are only great because of individuals like Miss. Negative experience: This place is scam and be charging patients for procedure that never occurred. They keep saying my child has a spend down account and I owe medical. I called medical they said I don’t owe anything and not aware of no such thing of a spend down account. Medical is state benefits you don’t pay anything so how can I owe. I explain this to them but was Myra was very rude and unprofessional. Now all sudden there’s no spend down account and I was able to get my child in for a visit. Then I needed a referral they said I had to do it myself which I never heard of. This whole place is a scam and I went ahead and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully this post will help someone out before they get scammed.

Negative experience: I make emergency appointment for my child. My child three days didn’t eat any kind of food because of the two just hurt and then I was go to the doctor 1045 is my appointment and the doctor show up 1230. I was asked for Dakhter why are you guys late? Any disrespect me and the reaction is very bad. I feel very bad with the doctor. That’s why this community clinic is not good for child two times. We are feeling very bad because if we make appointment if we leave 10 minutes, these people not exit if you’re on time and your doctor is not your app. It doesn’t matter for these clinic. That’s why I don’t recommend people to go in this clinic. The doctor a nurse not a good people and all reaction is bad with the child.

Negative experience: I recently took my child to Sacramento Kids Dentistry, expecting a positive and supportive experience based on their advertised child-friendly approach. Unfortunately, my visit was quite disappointing. First, the waiting area was overcrowded and chaotic. We waited well over 30 minutes past our appointment time without any updates from the staff, which only added to my child's anxiety. It seemed like the team was overwhelmed and unable to manage the flow of patients effectively. When we finally were seen, Dr. Maha Almusawi's demeanor felt rushed and impersonal. She quickly went through the examination without taking the time to explain the procedures to my child or to us as parents. This lack of communication left us feeling confused and concerned about the treatment options presented. A more thorough discussion about what to expect and how to care for my child's dental health would have been appreciated. I also noticed some concerning behavior from the front desk staff. They were actively asking parents to leave good reviews, and when questioned about it, one staff member explained that the clinic is moving to a new location, and positive feedback is one of the requirements. This felt unprofessional and raised doubts about the authenticity of their reviews. In one instance, I even witnessed a parent with language difficulties being handed her phone so the staff could write a positive review on her behalf. It made me question whether they genuinely value feedback or if they are just focused on maintaining a facade. Additionally, it seemed that the staff wasn't particularly attentive to the children's needs. My child left the appointment feeling more anxious than when we arrived, which defeats the purpose of a pediatric dental practice. Overall, I was left with a negative impression of Sacramento Kids Dentistry. I believe that a dental visit should be a positive experience for children, helping to alleviate fears rather than intensifying them. I hope the practice can take steps to improve its patient care, communication, and the authenticity of their reviews in the future.

Negative experience: This place is a scam charging people for procedure that never occur. My kid has medi-cal and now they say my kids has a spend down of 4,000 to pay. State benefits you don’t pay anything. Myra was rude and very unprofessional. I ask the lady what is a spend down and if I owe who do I pay because medi-cal say I don’t owe them anything. She couldn’t even respond she just said I have a spend down account

Negative experience: Do not recommend this place! First couple appointments were fine and staff were polite. At our last appointment we waited over 30 minutes after our appointment time, and then waited an additional 20 minutes for the doctor to come. Made an appointment for some work to be done, came to that appointment and was told $300 was due, wasn’t told before hand that amount was due, so we had to reschedule and then was told we would be marked for a missed appointment. Poor communication on their part, also since I know they’ll be reading this, they need to let patients know if there will be amount due for certain procedures in their next appointment, they should let them know and not wait till the day of the appointment. Will not be returning to this office.

Negative experience: This is the worst clinic I’ve ever been to. We were only 5 minutes late to our appointment, and even before the scheduled time, we had called them to let them know we were stuck in traffic and might be a few minutes late. Despite this, not only did they cancel our appointment, but they also forced us to completely leave the clinic and canceled our membership. To anyone considering becoming a client of this clinic: Please don’t make the biggest mistake of your life.

They found the perfect approach with my child, and for the very first time he had his cleaning done without any tears. He even let them seal his fissures without any stress! We’ve been coming to this clinic for almost three years now, and every visit just confirms how lucky we are to have such caring and skilled professionals. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I actually really like this dentist. However, at the moment, they are only doing SDF treatments for children who are too young or do not stay still for work to be done. I was pretty confused because My 3 year old daughter was completely still during her X-Rays and followed directions. When she met with doctor, she was super excited - but listened to what was being told to her and stayed still while doing so. But while dad was speaking to doctor - not even working on her she was super talkative/excited and said was told there is absolutely no other options so we have to look elsewhere. I get it though, better safe than sorry. However I got a second opinion else where and they were able to give us another option. But staff is super nice & understanding. Your kids will feel very comfortable going here

Negative experience: We came in for our first appointment for my 2.5-year-old after reading so many great reviews, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The dentist didn’t seem friendly or particularly child-focused—it felt more like we were treated as a number rather than a patient, which was surprising. The office also appeared disorganized, and some of the information provided was contradictory. I can’t say for sure if it played a role, but as a parent of a child who is Black, Mexican, and Persian, I couldn’t help but notice the lack of diversity among staff and wondered if that may have influenced the experience. I say this because other patients and employees seemed more friendly and attentive. On a positive note, the dental assistant, Madra (apologies if I’m spelling that incorrectly), was amazing—very attentive and wonderful with kids. I truly appreciated her professionalism. The front desk staff was polite, but the disorganization was noticeable, possibly due to training. Overall, I will not be returning. It felt like a waste of both time and insurance coverage.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for 3 years, and Dr. Almusawi and her team are amazing. The staff is always friendly, the doctors are always patient with the kids, their examinations are thorough and complete. The environment is always clean, fast, and fun. They provide movies for the kids to watch, and are always gentle during cleaning. Both of my kids were nervous about going to the dentist but after their first visit they now actually look forward to going.

Negative experience: Never choose this office for your kids. Just charging insurance company for doing nothing. As they don't know what to do, they just refer you and will tell you to find the referral office by yourself.

We had tried other clinics before, but she was always too scared—sometimes the doctors were too strict or not friendly. But this place was completely different.
