Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Huntington Beach Dental since 1988 when I was 4 years old when Dr. Sakabe and Dr. Young were just starting up. I have moved and will still drive the distance because it is totally worth it. They have taken great care of me and my extended family over the years. Dr. Youngs kids and daughter in law recently took over as Dr. Young and Dr. Sakabe retired recently. They are also so wonderful. I will continue to drive the distance because I do not trust any one else with my dental care. Highly recommend them. They will take care of you :)

Fantastic experience: Review for Huntington Beach Dental Center I had an excellent experience at Huntington Beach Dental Center! On April 9th, Georgette performed my cleaning; she was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and ensured the entire process was completely pain-free. I returned on April 15th to have a few cavities filled by Dr. Rachel. I was very nervous about the drilling—especially since one required removing an old filling—but Dr. Rachel and her assistant were fantastic. They took the time to ease my nerves and made sure I was thoroughly numbed. I didn't feel a thing! Going to the dentist is usually stressful for me, but this team made it a breeze. I’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! We were just visiting Huntington Beach and my daughter had teeth brashes recently installed! She was having a breakfast and her tongue got stuck in the brashes. We called the Huntington dental clinic and they immediately provided the service and the dentist immediately removed it within a minute! Very grateful for the service! Absolutely great! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service! I am visiting my sister in Huntington Beach from New York so I’m not a regular patient. I had a tooth extracted in New York earlier in the week and one of the stitches busted while I am here in town. I called Huntington Beach Dental Center immediately and they told me to come right in. 30 minutes later I was already in and out! The receptionist was so kind and helpful on the phone and the dentist was so helpful and friendly! I’ll be recommending them to my sister who lives here! Fantastic experience: I had a toothache and my regular dentist couldn’t see me until March 3. I called Huntington Beach Dental Center and they got me in the same day…actually within about three hours. They said they could fix it and I came back the next day and all is well. I cannot express how nice and friendly and helpful everyone there is…from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists and everyone else in between. I will pay out-of-pocket to come back to them again. Great job everyone! Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Huntington Beach Dental Center to take care of of all of your dental care needs. I just had a bridge put in today and they did a fabulous job! The staff is friendly and caring. They introduced me to the cherry dental payment app , where monthly payments can be made for the dental work I had done with no interest. If they didn’t tell me about this app, I would have just pulled out my infected tooth and I would today have two teeth missing. Usually when I go to dentist offices, I usually wait at least 30 minutes, not at Huntington Beach Dental Center. Over the last 2 months I have visited their office about 4 times and never waited for more than 5 minutes, and I even came early each time. I will be going to HBDC for all of my future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about the Huntington Beach Dental Center. The staff is so nice and professional, plus the office is super clean. I had two cavities on my first visit and they took care of them right away. A++

Fantastic experience: Started having increasing pain going into a holiday weekend. Called them Saturday morning and they were able to get me in a few hours later! Everyone was so courteous, professional, friendly, and informative! Dr. Ben explained everything to me in detail and I appreciate that he was conservative in saving my tooth instead of jumping into surgery that may not be needed. I’ve seen other dentists who just want to bill as much as possible to get more money but I did not feel that way about this place! They referred me to a specialist but gave me a treatment plan to ease my worries and antibiotics/pain medication to help my pain over the weekend! I would 100% refer this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Huntington Beach dental since moving to HB around 1998. Dr. Sakabe and his staff are excellent. He really listens if you have concerns and makes sure that everything is as pain free as possible. 5 stars to Dr. Sakabe and his staff! Another gone by and another successful cleaning by Georgette. She keeps my teeth in good shape and Dr. Sakabe makes sure that nothing needs fixing. Appointments are easy to make and they text reminders. Great staff! Five stars. January 2026 Update: Sadly Dr. Sakabe has retired. He was a great dentist and I wish him a fantastic retirement! On the bright side there are some really excellent new dentists working at HB Dental Center. And they have brought that latest technology with them. My favorite is that they can make the crowns on site now. No more waiting two weeks. Still five star service!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the clinic itself was extremely clean, modern, and well equipped with advanced technology. Both the dentist and the hygienist were professional, responsible, and very attentive. They took the time to give me helpful and thoughtful advice with patience and sincerity. My dental hygienist, Sophia, did an excellent job with my cleaning. She was very thorough and kept checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable, asking if I felt any pain or discomfort. Her care really helped me feel relaxed and at ease during the entire appointment. The other two dentists Dr. Laura and Dr. Ben were also highly experienced—calm, efficient, and extremely effective. Fantastic experience: After years with the same dentist, I finally switched — my old office suddenly raised prices and ignored my emails. Not cool. After some research, I found this place and I’m so glad I did! Close to home, great reviews and Their $100 new patient special (X-rays, consult, and cleaning) was an amazing deal. They were actually number two in my list but their early appointment availability made it easy to book an appointment before work. The front desk staff were friendly, patient, and super helpful. I got an appointment that fit my schedule, and when I arrived, everyone was warm and welcoming. The X-ray tech and hygienist were both gentle and kind, and the dentist actually took time to listen and explain everything clearly. Overall, a great first visit — hoping the care stays this good! I’ll definitely post an update after my next appointment.

The staff at Huntington Beach Dental Center were amazing — they made me feel calm, comfortable, and completely at ease. From the front office , to the back office and the dentist, everyone was so friendly and cordial. I am very glad to be a patient here. 10/13/2025 I just love the Huntington Beach dental center. They've taken care of me for the last year and a half and I couldn't be more happy with the results. After the pandemic I wanted something a little more close to home and this just fit the bill and they had good ratings as well. The hygienists are excellent and so are the dentists I would definitely recommend this dental practice five stars. I went in today for my next teeth cleaning appointment. I got a wonderful hygienist Maggie who took great care of me. This dental center continues to give excellent care and is always a pleasure to visit, even though I'm getting my teeth worked on. 01/07/2023 I went in for my dental cleaning today, and I also needed two crowns. Dr. Young is always the best. The dental hygienist was very sweet as well very gentle explain the whole process with what she was doing and the assistant that worked with Dr. Young was very good as well. I am always so happy when I go in to this dental office because I trust them with my preventative and upkeep. 09/10/2024 I had another great visit to the Huntington Beach Dental Center today. I got my teeth cleaned and examined and thanks to the good suggestions that they made the last time. I increased my care with the water. Pic and my gums are more healthy at this visit! I just love this dentist all the different dentists there Are wonderful. The hygienist are great and the receptionist are excellent. I’ve been coming here for years and plan to continue. Fantastic experience: I just recently became a new patient at HB Dental Center and right away I felt very comfortable as I was welcomed with genuine smiles and support. It was a busy Saturday morning with other patients back to back, and I needed an emergency procedure and not one doctor seemed overwhelmed or stressed. They fit me in and made me feel like a priority, even the receptionist was sweet and appreciative and kept thanking me for filling out my insurance info big enough for her to read. I also appreciate how the employees continuously checked on me asking if I was comfortable or needed water or anything knowing I’m 8 months pregnant. The vibes are high and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, which is the kind of atmosphere I look for when it comes to any kind of personal service. Although I don’t always love getting cleanings, I look forward to coming back to this office to see everyone! Thanks HB Dental!!

Fantastic experience: Huntington Beach Dental Center is a great dental office. They are very flexible with scheduling and when you have 3 kids, a husband and yourself, that is very important. Their office is clean and the staff is kind and helpful. They are good at giving you text reminders of upcoming appointments which allows you to reschedule if needed. I have had such a great experience that I have referred friends.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to this dentist office way back when I worked at 9:00 to 5:00 job and this was the only place open on Saturdays. I have found a lovely group of dentists and dental assistants who are always kind gentle and give good follow-up advice. Even though I now work a remote job with flexible hours, I still only want to come here, and now my kids are patients as well. My daughter says she hates the dentist, but doesn't mind coming here. That's a top review of I've ever heard one.
