Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with this dentist. For the first time, I actually feel informed and confident about my dental health. They take the time to explain what’s going on and why they recommend certain treatments, which makes a huge difference. I already convinced my fiancé to book an appointment, so I definitely recommend checking them out too.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing dental service ever! Alicia and Taylor did an amazing job with me and my kiddos 15 years old and 19 years old. Both were very gentle and surprisingly I had no anxiety which never happened before! My 15 year old said she almost fell asleep and had the best experience ever! We moved here from Arizona and I have to say one of the best experiences ever considering I have white coat syndrome!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to pleasant dental for over a year now and have had my basic cleanings along with a few cavity fixes. It’s been an excellent experience with Dr. Shah and Taylor.

Positive experience: The dentist and the dental hygienist, Alecia(spelling?) are amazing! The only reason I am not giving this place five star is because of the Front Desk service. My husband and I’ve been going here for over a year on and off and have received poor Front Desk service every single time. I’ve seen them give so many people attitude and their tone on the phone is always condescending. We waited over five months to hear back for an appointment. I don’t understand how people can be so rude for an elective process. They can learn a thing or two on customer service and should be receiving the feedback surveys instead of the actual dentist.

Fantastic experience: Check in was easy with Kayla I believe. Lobby and bathroom are clean as well. Taylor was my hygienist and did an excellent job. He was friendly and took care of my every need. Dr. Shah was very friendly and explained my procedures very clearly. I have already recommended my daughter and she has set her appointment.

Fantastic experience: I can say Carroll from my initial call was amazing and very in touch with now a days work loads and made my appt. Then meeting the receptionist (sorry I can’t remember ya name), Katie and Dr Shaw showed so much dedication to my visit and was very careful and detailed about my needs. Thank you all. Fantastic experience: Hands down the BEST experience I’ve had with a dentist office so far! To start, the front desk is always super friendly and helpful, the check-in process is quick and easy, and the office itself is decorated very welcoming and kept immaculately clean. They are quick to answer any questions, especially regarding insurance, and it sets a great tone for the rest of your appointment before you get called back. More importantly, Dr. Shah is very professional and kind, VERY transparent about procedures and pricing, and VERY VERY gentle when it comes to dental work. I received treatment for a new crown, multiple cavities being filled, and a deep cleaning, and I didn’t have even a moment of pain or discomfort. I have a hard time with needles and am hyper-sensitive to pain in teeth/gums, and even the needle was easy and almost painless. They were patient with my nervousness with needles and it made what’s usually the WORST part of dental visits (for me at least) one of the easiest parts of the whole appointment. On top of that, they offer a wider variety of treatment options than most dentists I’ve been to, and are the only one I’ve found that still does metal crowns! Their pricing is about average with other dentists, but with the level of care and transparency you get with it, the pricing feels like a deal. Lastly, their level of communication goes above and beyond; both the front office and Dr. Shah have reached out to me personally for reminders, double-checking insurance info, questions about how I want to go about my treatment, post treatment check-ins, etc. I STRONGLY recommend anyone who needs dental work to check out Pleasant Dental and Dr. Shah. They’re the only 10/10 experience I’ve ever had at a dentists office!

Negative experience: I schedule an appointment about a month ago and was asked to pay $25 appointment fee which I paid. 25 hours to my appointment I realized I will be at another appointment at the scheduled time I called to reschedule or cancel the appointment the person that I spoke to was not helpful at all and sounded rude and told me I had to pay $50 cancellation fee after I’ve already paid $25 and am a new patient. I asked her if the $25 will go towards the cancellation fee she refused to answer saying she does not know. And told me my card will be charged and hung up when I was about to ask another question. I see a lot of good reviews which was why I scheduled an appointment with them in the first place but after this experience I had with them I will not be going there.

Positive experience: This was my first time visiting this dental office, and while the hygienist and doctor were fantastic, my experience with the front desk was extremely disappointing. Before my appointment, I received multiple phone calls from the office. Even as I was pulling into the parking lot, I got another call asking where I was and whether I was still coming. I had to tell the front desk that I was literally outside parking. When I walked in, the front desk receptionist claimed my appointment was at 3:40, even though my confirmation clearly stated 3:50. I was never informed that I needed to come early to fill out any forms, and the only time this was mentioned was during the call I received while I was already on the way. Her attitude throughout the interaction felt rude and unprofessional. She told me that I would not be able to get a cleaning done because I “arrived late,” even though I arrived exactly at my scheduled appointment time. She also said the only thing I’d be getting done that day was x-rays. As a new patient, that was disappointing and honestly made me regret choosing this office at first. It felt like she didn’t care at all. Thankfully, things improved once I was taken back. My hygienist was extremely kind, friendly, and reassuring. After hearing what happened at the front, he went above and beyond and still completed my cleaning, which I truly appreciated. The doctor was also amazing; very professional, detailed, and thorough during the examination. Overall, my visit ended well thanks to the hygienist and the doctor. They were the highlight of the appointment and the reason I’m giving this office 3 stars instead of fewer. However, the front desk experience needs serious improvement. First impressions matter, and the attitude and miscommunication from the front desk made the start of my visit very stressful and unpleasant.

Fantastic experience: I love how Dr. Shah told me step by step what he was doing. He was very fast and light handed when he extracted my tooth. We discussed future treatments and how we could fix some problem area's. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shah to anyone needing a good dentist who actually cares.

Fantastic experience: I went in with the worst toothache I’ve ever had from a wisdom tooth. I felt hopeless since my primary dentist couldn’t see me till Sep. 15. They were able to take care of my tooth same day on Aug. 23rd! The operation was painless, they make you feel safe and it was done in minutes. Definitely will be making them my primary dentist for life!

Negative experience: The office is nice and clean. Dentist assistant is very pleasant. Spent more time filling out the forms than the dentist actually spent in the room. They do not offer teeth cleaning for your visit, you would have to make an entire new appointment. Very misleading if it’s your first time there as I’ve never been to a dentist that did not offer teeth cleaning services seeing as to how your insurance is being charged along with an additional $25 fee. I Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Total game-changer. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear they’re not your average “open wide and deal with it” kind of place. The office is spotless (like, NASA-laboratory clean), and the team is so efficient it feels like they’ve hacked time. They use tech like pros—digital everything, seamless check-ins, and even two TVs per chair. One in front of you, and one on the ceiling. Yes, ceiling. Because why stare at a light when you could be watching Netflix while getting your molars polished? The receptionist and hygienists? Absolute gems. Friendly, communicative, and laser-focused on making sure you feel comfortable. It’s almost suspicious how nice they are. Like… are they trying to win “Best Dental Office in the Galaxy”? Because they’re on track. Now, the real test: I had a cracked cavity filling that needed replacing. Historically, this has been a “brace yourself for pain” kind of situation. But not here. The dentist actually said his goal was for me to feel no pain. I agreed enthusiastically, and guess what? Mission accomplished. No nerve pain. No trauma. Just a smooth 30-minute appointment that ended with me playing pool a few hours later like nothing happened. If you’ve ever wished your dentist treated you like a valued customer instead of a captive audience—this is your spot. They don’t just fix teeth; they fix the whole dental experience. Highly recommend. 11/10. Would let them drill again.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation after cracking my front tooth late on a Friday, when almost every other clinic was closed. Thankfully, Dr. Shah was able to take me in right away. He was extremely professional, transparent about every step, and made sure I fully understood the process. Thanks so much for taking care of me. -------------------------------------------------- 2024 I was suffering from a severe toothache, and I called for an appointment. They immediately gave me a slot upon seeing my dental emergency. Dr. Sha has magical hands. He removed my teeth painlessly (the tooth was in bad condition, and I was just pushing my luck) and gave me pain medication, and so far, I have had no pain. This was a first-of-its-kind experience for me. I highly recommend this place. --------------------------------------------------- First visit review September 2023 To start with getting the appointment was easy and front desk is very friendly/useful. As I change my dentist. I thought I will get marketing pitch to do other stuff but amazingly that didn’t happen and Dr. Was talking what exactly is going on The person who have clean my teeth, very professional, and gentle with teeth, not pushing or trying to hurt which I loved it.

It's been a few years since I've visited the dentist due to poor experiences prior, so I was worried about being judged or even scolded. The staff at Pleasant never did any of this and were great at explaining the issues I had, and I felt like they genuinely wanted to help. They were constantly making sure I was as comfortable as I could be, and the entertainment provided was also great. I'm going to recommend Pleasant Dental going forward.

Fantastic experience: I forget my dental assistant’s name it starts with an A. She was absolutely phenomenal. I don’t have the best experiences with dentist but she was efficient , didn’t rush , was genitalia but got the job done. Whenever she noticed I was uncomfortable I didn’t have to say anything she would adjust and make accommodations for me then proceed. I will be back and I would recommend. I was referred so I didn’t know what to expect but I loved it. The practice was clean. Front desk was professional and nice and the doctor was also good. He let me know what they recommended was nice , and concise. They were also on time. I wasn’t in the waiting area past my appointment time which I greatly appreciated them valuing my time. I didn’t wait more than 3 minutes for the doctor to come after my dental assistant finished.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 6 stars i will. Everything and everyone there is the best! I called in improtu that I was hurting so bad and time was scheduled for me immediately. I got lost locating the place and the lady at the reception stayed on call with me till I was able to locate where the office was. Scary part is, I had no insurance but the cost was perfect and I was able to cover it immediately. Thank you to the nurse who held my hands till my extraction was over. I love you a million times!!! And the doctor,! Perfect . Very kind and will ask you every second if you are comfortable or he should stop. I'm definitely referring everyone i know and I will always come back for check up and all. Fantastic experience: I found this place on google and am so glad I did. I have never gotten sunglasses from a dentist but they had some ready. The dentist answered all of my questions, made me feel so comfortable. He went through all of my pictures, and x-rays with me and explained everything. I haven’t felt this comfortable with a dentist since I was young. Definitely recommend and definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience: Grateful to have found Dr.Shah. Was very disheartened by my experience with other Dentists. On the contrary, I have finally found someone for myself and family to trust. Not only does he do great work with top of the line equipment, his attitude couldn't be any better. He is genuine and kind. He is working on my crown, after an emergency root canal, the process was long but he made it so easy and pain free. My numbing medication has now worn off and there is absolutely no discomfort or pain. He even called after hours to check up on me, how many Dentists do that?! Also, the front office staff are amazing. I have now been in correspondence with 3 of them and they are all so kind and caring as well. Jasmine was his assistant today for my temporary crown and she was great! Thorough and just as kind and positive as Dr.Shah. I am grateful to be seen by people that treat me the way they would want to be treated. On top of all this great care the facility is sleek, beautiful and clean. When back in the chair there is even a television above you on the ceiling. They asked what I wanted to watch and I told them it didn't matter to me so they turned on a peaceful animal docuseries on Disney plus. I highly suggest this Dental Office. It seems to be built on a foundation of high standards and genuine care.

Fantastic experience: I decided to give this place a chance after seeing all of the good reviews and now I am able to give a good review of my own. I was extremely nervous about going to the dentist but everyone there made the experience so easy and comfortable . I had a wonderful experience with this office and will definitely be recommending them to friends and family .

Fantastic experience: We needed my son to be seen for an emergency tooth issue, and they accommodated us quickly after walking in without any notice. The receptionist, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, Taylor the hygienist, and Dr. Shah were all very kind, welcoming, and caring. Dr. Shah is quite friendly and was able to put our mind at ease with his expert feedback and provide directions for further care. Thank you Pleasant Dental! They are also very conveniently located, and we will be using them in the future for my wife’s checkups.

Fantastic experience: 1st time here. I came with my friend. Friendly service. Spanish speaking so that was a plus. Very clean and looked new. Down side was the toilet paper. One ply and very thin come on. Used almost a whole roll.

Fantastic experience: This dental office was referred to me by a friend and I loved my experience. Will absolutely be returning for all dental needs. Everyone was very nice and professional.

Negative experience: I made an appointment and they asked me to fill a form, I started filling the form and I was surprised that they're asking me to give my SSN I refused and expressed my concern and she said it's for verification purposes, which 100% understandable, but there other ways too, but she didn't want to reason and canceled my appointment. Very disappointing that you can't get a medical service without giving up some sensitive information about yourself.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, attentive staff and practice. Thorough, took time to explain each step of the exam and cleaning and then my dental plan for work that was needed. State of the art diagnostic tools and imaging to show the health of your teeth and give visuals to explain the suggested treatment plan. I recommend their practice!!

Fantastic experience: Very glad to have found this practice. Dr Shah and everyone here are so nice, want to make you comfortable and provide a perfectly pleasant experience. I am an extreme coward when it comes to any dental work, including cleanings, and admit that I can let too much time go on between visits. No judgement here and they did everything they could to keep me as stress free as possible. Had my x-rays and cleaning one day, and a follow up visit to repair a tooth that developed a cavity under a broken filling the following week. Didn't feel any pain during any of the work, including the novocain shot. Pricing is reasonable to their peers, were spot on with the insurance copayment estimates and have lots of options to assist with payment plans should you need. Thanks Dr Shah and team!

Fantastic experience: Hey everyone. If you are looking for a Dentist, look no further. Dr. Shah and his team are top tier professionals. My family and I are in the best hands and you and yours will be also.

Negative experience: Dr. Shah is a great dentist but there are a lot of great dentists in Greensboro that we will be going to now. His staff and LLM system are disorganized, inaccurate and too difficult to deal with. When YOU make a mistake, don’t double down. Admit it and let’s move on. It just hurts your employer. I don’t have time or money to waste on this level of stupid.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth at work and was getting the run around by multiple dentists and my insurance. Natalie up front was super kind and actively listened to the problems I was having, and got me in for an appointment same day. Dr Shah and his assistant (I can’t remember their name) were very nice and clear with pre and post op instructions and had me in and out with no pain in less than two hours. On top of that, the financial services they utilize for assistance approved me for nearly the entire cost even though my credit isn’t the best. I found my new dentist. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never had my teeth taken care of like this before. The office is understanding when you have financial barriers and help come up with a realistic plan to take care of the health of your teeth. They walked me through everything, including wanting to set up a plan moving forward. Fantastic experience: Great experience. I needed an emergency extraction of 2 wisdom teeth immediately and the teeth were removed within 5 hours from my call to schedule an appointment. The staff is extremely kind, patient, and informative. They explained every step of the procedure as it was happening and asked about my level of pain what seemed like every couple of minutes. Fantastic experience: This is probably the best dentist practice that I have ever been to. The whole place is very clean and neat, the staff of friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my visit to the dentist for the first time in decades and I felt like I do not have to avoid going to the dentist anymore. The staff asked what show I would like to watch on the tv they have mounted on the ceiling, which made my cleaning feel like it went by much quicker. I even got to learn more about Greek mythology from the show I requested. The dentist sat down with me after the cleaning and reviewed images of my teeth and discussed my options for care moving forward in an approachable manner, which made me feel valued and informed.
