Fantastic experience: At 67 years old, I had severe periodontal disease and complicated teeth alignment with a ‘narrow’ mouth. I was on the verge of losing multiple teeth due to the bone and gum loss. I chose to get full bone and gum transplant and, while it was a short term uncomfortable process, after 10 months I am so glad I had the surgery and I using Invisalign to reduce the stress on the teeth that contributed to the periodontal disease. Dr Raval and all the staff have been kind, informative, and helpful throughout my journey.

On a recent visit to my periodontist he noticed a problem area on a tooth, took an X-Ray and came back to the chair telling me he’d arranged a next day appointment with my regular dentist! Fantastic experience: I’ve been Dr Raval’s patient for years and loved the exceptional care from the front staff to hygienist, assistant and the dentists. I’ve got to write the review today because I feel so grateful for the experience I had for my Gum Graft last Friday. I was very nervous about the procedure even though Dr Raval and his assistant Thi explained everything very thoroughly and told me it would be easy. And it was!. I came to the office, went night night and woke up when the work was done. They planned it to the T for all the things that I would need from the pre surgery to post surgery. Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and informative. As I am getting a bit older, surgeries of any kind are a little scarier than they once were, but the team here made me feel super comfortable. They even let me pick the music we listened to! Dr. Raval is insanely skilled and calm. I don’t love surgery, but I dislike it less when I know that Dr. Raval and his team are doing it. Shout out to Jennifer. She is awesome!

Negative experience: Still having teeth sensitivity after deep cleaning 6-7 months ago. I was charged additional amount forefront and then had to ask for refund. Won’t recommend as the charges are not clear.

Fantastic experience: My review is long overdue (I’ve seen him for about 4 years) but Raval is one of the best doctors I’ve been to. His staff is always friendly, and remember my name. Raval is professional, warm, and informative. He performed my SFOT surgery, and I’ve seen his assistants for teeth cleanings. If you need major surgery, go here. I also went to another provider to get a tongue tie release done and had suspected re-attachment and scar tissue. I got confirmation today that this is the case, but I have a good action plan with him to correct those issues. 10/10 recommend coming here to feel cared for and have a good surgery experience!

Fantastic experience: I drove all the way from Vancouver, BC to Bellevue, WA just to see Dr. Raval because when it comes to my teeth, I don’t mess around. He placed my implant flawlessly, and somehow also fixed my migraines that came from clenching my jaw like I was auditioning for a “stress of the year” award. From the moment I walked in, his team made me feel completely at ease - super professional but also genuinely kind. Dr. Raval took the time to explain everything, and you can tell he’s an absolute perfectionist (the good kind, not the scary kind) lol. Crossing the border for a dental appointment might sound extreme, but honestly? Totally worth it. I’d drive hours again — this time with a relaxed jaw and a perfectly placed implant. If you’re looking for a periodontist who’s not only insanely skilled but also somehow cures your migraines along the way, this is your guy.

Negative experience: This visit was not so hot! My appointments have been moved the last four times! Why? This last time moved my two month cleaning to three months, because a Melanie quit??? I don’t pick my hygienist since it has changed each time the appointment has moved the last four times. I was told my appointment this time was moved because I scheduled with the person who quit!! I did not pick a specific person, so this was not a good excuse, nor my problem! Anyway, I had I have made it clear that I am traveling so you must hold and not change my appointments anymore My progress was not so good waiting for 3 months!! Rick Roney

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for several years, (alternating between Dr. Perio and Dr. Lawson for general dentistry in the same building). I feel I receive the best, professional care available with their deep knowledgeable and their use of advanced technology. No matter who you see, feel comfortable with their qualifications and know that their chair side manner is tip top. I see both Dr. Raval and Dr. Jhawar, and Dr Jhawar once came in especially early to do my oral surgery the very next day because I'd be traveling.

Negative experience: I had my first appointment last Friday. I knew I had a bad infection so I was really stressed. I searched the doctor/ see reviews, I liked him during the consultation. They were very nice and they fitted me same day for procedure. While I was on my way to the office, they called and let me know the doctor will be late, due to another procedure. This was totally fine, I even told them I can come another day if the doctor is tired. I got there and another doctor showed up! She said she will do the anesthesia to get thinks started because my doctor was still doing the other procedure. Then she said she will start the procedure and just did it. The doctor who consulted me and who I expected to do the procedure never showed up… I was treated like a piece of meat…Guys is the patient right to chose the doctor. The medical act is an agreement in between two parties! If I came to have the procedure with one doctor don’t change staff in the way whiteout my permission…

Fantastic experience: Surgery can be stressful and painful. I know I am a dentist and I did the same surgery on my patients at times and should have referred them all to Dr Reval. . My experience with Dr Reval’s surgery was hardly noticeable. I worried and should not. Never used pain meds. Simply did not hurt. No question he is the best.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Neal Raval by my primary dentist due to some generalized gum recession requiring a few grafts. I have now received two grafts from Dr. Raval, both of which have healed very well thanks to his hard work and dedication to his craft. Further, after my first surgery I spoke with Dr. Raval about my concerns with the cost of the procedures. I work on an ambulance, and as such, don't have much money to spare. Dr. Raval worked with me and greatly reduced the cost of the procedure, allowing me to get the care I needed. This was not something that he needed to do, and I so appreciate his concern for my ability to not only get the care I needed, but pay my bills too. I really appreciate the focused, hard-working team at DoctorPerio, and I would happily recommend them to anyone who requires periodontal work.

Fantastic experience: 46 years old, and no one has EVER suggested to me (until today) that I had a tongue tie. Yet all 4 of my kids did. Dr Raval not only explained why this was problematic (given the minimal space in my mouth), but proved it to me through a series of tests. He also explained that this has been a leading contributor to apnea, grinding and a cascading effect resulting in other sleep related issues I have experienced with no relief for nearly 5 decades. And to make matters more impressive, he diagnosed this in mere minutes. Dr Raval and the staff was extremely knowledgeable, personable, professional and welcoming. They calmed my anxieties and gave me options.

Fantastic experience: I have been extremely pleased with periodontal treatment by Dr. Neal C. Ravel and his well trained and capable staff. Most recently he did a bone grafting from my palate to supplement my upper gum. I had no bleeding after I left the office with minimum discomfort. The healing is as expected. Previously, I had three dental implants through his predecessor’s office and I am very pleased with the treatments and results. The interim maintenance and cleanings have always been suburb. I will continue to use their services.

Fantastic experience: I visited DoctorPerio, yesterday for my yearly check-up for the excellent implant work I have had done in the past. I was cordially addressed upon arrival and within a few minutes taken back in the clinic. At all times, I enjoyed eye contact and affirming comments about the procedure for taking x-rays. The Dental Assistant was personable and professional while she answered questions and instilled confidence. The dental exam by Dr. Lee was gentle yet thorough and the news positive! I can very honestly say, I look forward to my annual check-ups.

Fantastic experience: I was at DoctorPerio for a routine tooth extraction. It turned out not to be routine due to the position and lack of tooth above the gum. The doctor was truly professional and kept me informed as to her progress removing the tooth. I appreciated her making sure I was 100% numb and taking the time to explain the post extraction procedure, the white blood cells and blood clot healing treatment. Eight hours after my surgery I have had no bleeding.

Starting from check in I felt everyone in the office knew who I was, what I was there for and what the next step was. Fantastic experience: This is definitely a five-star organization easily the most professional practice I have utilized in many years. They really work with you to fill all of your needs from deep cleaning to implants all of which they have done for me. Dr Raval and his staff make the most unpleasant things totally bearable. Positive experience: My visit yesterday was very pleasant. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. However, my visit with Dr Lee was about 5 minutes. With his assistant who took an X-ray of my implant another 5 -10 minutes. For this I was charged 215.00. I was informed that if I didn’t come in yearly. My warranty would be void. I see my regular dentist every 6 months, but her checking it is not sufficient for them. This is not an expense I can easily afford. They do not offer a discount for seniors or people without insurance that they accept. Very disappointing. BJC

I am doing dental implants and he has explained the process and the treatment from the beginning. So far treatment was painless and so well done I didn’t even experienced bleeding after the bone graft surgery. Looking forward to complete the treatment and have a new smile . Negative experience: After I was told I have a day to find my insurance card to secure my appointment... it was given away before the day expired. When I rescheduled and asked to be put on a standby list. Not sure what happend there...

Fantastic experience: After a not so great experience at my last dentist office, I was googling around and came across Doctor Perio. After seeing their great reviews, decided to call in and book an appointment. Getting to the office is super convenient, it’s right off the freeway and they have their own parking lot. When I got into the office, the receptionists are extremely friendly and actually greeted by name as I came through the door, also had little water bottles which is a nice touch. When I got to the back, I was worked on by Doctor Jhawar. Going back to the not so great experience I mentioned earlier, that place numbed my mouth and I was in extreme discomfort for about 12 hours after my appointment. I told Dr. Jhawar I was a little apprehensive but she assured me it would be fine and it was, I actually fell asleep during the deep clean I was in for. The DA working with Dr. Jhawar, Tamantha was also very nice. Best of all, about two hours after the appointment I was 100% back to normal, couldn’t be happier with service and work I received!!

When I started getting anxious about the surgeries, he was willing to give me anesthesia for the big ones.
