Experiencia negativa: Nope. I tolerated the being pushy about pallet expander and mandiblular expander, even when a second opinion in office suggested otherwise. I am drawing the line at telling my pubescent child that she is “late getting your braces. All of your friends are finishing them now. You should get them quick or you will have to wear them to prom. You don’t want to be embarrassed having braces in your prom photos. You don’t want to have to cover your mouth every time you laugh.” It’s 2026 and a patient has chosen not to opt into altering their smile, it’s not medically necessary. This what you’re going to tell a growing teen in her formative years?! Trying to make her self-conscious so she chooses a procedure?! Shame. The majority of the staff was sweet but this doctor is shameful. We won’t be back.

The staff also makes us feel comfortable and relaxed during each visit. as dental services can be overwhelming for some kids, especially special needs children.. The doctor was condescending toward my decisions regarding my child’s care, recommends completely unnecessary out of pocket “therapies,” and pushes her own opinions instead of remaining objective for the sake of the child. She overdiagnoses tongue and lip tie for insurance money (got three different opinions and it wasn’t nearly as severe as she was making it seem) and even had the audacity to question my dental history.

The hygienist, Brooke was so amazing with both of my boys and definitely went above and beyond for my youngest. He was a bit nervous, but from his X-rays to getting in the chair Brooke was extremely sweet and explained everything to him. He left smiling and said he couldn’t wait to go back. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. The office is clean, warm & welcoming and all staff are pleasant!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give a zero I would. Everyone here has a horrible attitude. You would think because they are working with kids they would be encouraging, positive, and patient. That was not the case today. The Dentist is extremely unprofessional and rude. My son went in for a hard procedure today. So it’s normal for us parents to be nervous for our son who is only 3. She was rude from the start and when done with the procedure she just walked out. No explanation on what we should do next or instructions or just a good job to my son. Best to avoid this place. They do not know how to work with kids. Bad experience.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this office 0 stars I would. I recently took my son to this office for fillings, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience. My son, who already experiences significant anxiety and fear when it comes to doctor visits, was left traumatized by the procedure. We were assured that he would be given gas for comfort, but that did not happen. Additionally, as only one parent was allowed in the treatment room, I had to wait in the waiting area. According to my grandmother, who witnessed the procedure, my son was wrapped up tightly like a burrito, which caused him to become distressed and fight the staff for nearly an hour. This resulted in red blotches on his face and left him extremely shaken. I am deeply concerned by the lack of compassion and care shown during this visit. Given my experience, I will not be returning, and I would encourage other parents to carefully consider their options before bringing their children to this office.

Experiencia positiva: The positive parts of my experience were the front office staff, and the toys to entertain my toddler in the waiting room. However, the hygienist was trying to sell me a teething toy so much and so hard that I felt like I was in a used car dealership. I got to the point where even the dentist cut her off and said That I could make whatever decision I wanted to. Other than that, the hygienist was very friendly and kind to my toddler. However, when my toddler began to cry when the doctor started trying to brush his teeth, she just asked me to restrain him and said that crying is normal. This was a big disappointment. My son has no dental issues, and my goal for this disappointment was just to give him a positive 1st experience at the dentist. I do not want him to develop a fear of the dentist. Unfortunately, this appointment did just the opposite of that.

My two oldest children have the ALF system and my oldest has started myofuctional therapy to help retrain some weak muscles and poor movement patterns/posture. It’s amazing how it’s a whole-body issue not just mouth. My kids all feel very comfortable with her and my husband and I have learned so much from her recommendations for reading/listening about issues related to mouth breathing. My husband was very hesitant, as I was… but after much reading and research we now feel good that we are preventing health issues our little mouth breather would face down the road. Admittedly it was hard at the beginning to think about endeavoring into such an overwhelming undertaking but we did lots of research before committing, and I recommend looking into “tongue and lip tied adults” to see what people have to deal with who have NOT had their ties taken care of (or mouth breathing revised.) to help convince yourself of the need for the work! Dr Hillel put together a very effective treatment plan with the Alf and braces. We were both very pleased at the results, his smile and face are VERY handsome now. Our experience was especially pleasant during this work. Dr Hillel had a special way in working with my ‘independent son’ and also explained to me the step by step plan, I was really comfortable with the process. I was speaking and asking her few questions, but she didn't show any respect , and poited to the lady in the front desk to speak to me. She really doesn't know how to speak to parents. That was the first and the last time to go there.

The time and care that they show to each of my children is more than I’ve gotten from past practices. Especially for my youngest daughter who is on the autism spectrum and has many sensory issues. My oldest went first and she was nervous the minute she got into the chair but Dr. Hillel immediately made her feel very comfortable and before we knew it a tooth was sealed and the other extracted. I was amazed at how fast and painless Dr. Hillel made the process go. Next up went my son, having had a traumatic experience at his last dentist he went into the room already on edge. Again, Dr. Hillel calmed him and began his fillings. Of course I didn’t expect the process to be an easy one but we got through it nonetheless. My son cried and moved but Dr.Hillel was very patient with him and eventually he too was done. I say all this to say that our experience was a great one and I will definitely be bringing my children here going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: The dental staff at the front desk was so so very welcoming. I came in and was greeted with smiles and a very pleasant tone of voice. The hygienist was super sweet and introduced herself and made all the expectations clear. She answered all my questions as well. The person who took my little one for the X-rays politely and respectful asked for permission to take my daughter for X-rays while k took care of the medical history with the hygienist. Dr. Hillel was more than pleasant. She took her time and even offered to look at my 9 month old sons mouth to see if he was tongue tied as well since she discovered my 5 years old daughters tongue tie. For lack of better verbiage she wasn’t greedy either. Going back a few weeks, I wa a referred to this pediatric dentist due to an X-ray taken at another dentist that showed cavities. They were wrong…. This made Dr. Hillel look even better because she said she didn’t see any cavities and that she was doing great. She was absolutely welcoming and made us all feel comfortable. She was very friendly and not at all in a rush like most doctors and even took the time to have a little chat with us to build a connection. I’ll be coming here for many years I already know it!! Also the office was spotless and inviting with all the painting and beautiful, classy decor. I had no issues, which in these days is hard to come by. Thank you all for a wonderful experience! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Naomi Hillel is fantastic. She impressed me as a pediatric dentist from our first visit because her questions were not the average questions, she really wanted to understand the history and background of my sons teeth :). Even from before he had any teeth! Questions about nursing, etc. She’s not the first doctor we started with for our son but we’ve been coming back for a few years now due to professionalism and expertise that she has shown. Her assistants and dental hygienists are all very pleasant and my son likes them as well.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I love this office. Dr.Hillel released my daughter and sons lip and tongue ties at 9 weeks for my daughter and 6 days old for my son. She cares about the patient as a whole person not just the dental side of it. My daughter has been doing her cleanings and regular check ups there for years and LOVES the dentist. I never have to worry about her being nervous or scared.
