BOOM Smiles Hoboken

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly reception desk. No lines, check in online. Everything is clear about treatment. They do accept kids too.

Experiencia fantástica: I moved to the area recently. I was in the market for a new Dentist and I saw that this place had great reviews. Great place! Very nice staff. I highly recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: The place the staff the doctors are all top tier I recommend to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Very good practice, gentle and friendly hygienist. Easy to schedule appointments, very friendly and courteous staff overall, I highly recommend! (Coming from someone who is anxious about dental appointments). You’ll be glad you can cross that off your list :)

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Boom Smiles is always top notch. The doctors are great and the staff is very caring and extremely knowledgeable. Top marks all around.

Experiencia fantástica: I was super nervous going to a new dentist since moving to Jersey after going to the same one for the last 20 years. This office and staff were probably better than my old dentist. The cleaning was painless, the doctor was professional and gentle. I highly recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: I had such a great experience with Dr. Desai at Boom Smiles for my wisdom teeth removal! He was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I also really appreciated how quickly they were able to get me in for the procedure. The entire experience was smooth and reassuring, and I would absolutely recommend Boom Smiles to anyone in the area looking for a dentist. Thank you, Dr. Desai and the Boom miles team!

Experiencia positiva: In fairness before I get to the reasons for a one star review, the office is nice, the staff friendly, and in my 3 years going here I never had to wait. The reason for the one star review is Dr. Boom over 3 years tried to upsell me multiple times and convince me that (1) I needed Invisalign, (2) that I had gum recision and needed that taken care of, and (3) my last time told me I had 3 cavities. While I acknowledge #1 and #2 and that I do have gum recision, after he told me I had 3 cavities I decided to get a second opinion from my brother in law who is a dentist and a different dentist in Hoboken who took X-rays. Both reaffirmed I did not have cavities and they have no idea what Dr. Boom was talking about - the only thing I can think of is that he was trying to upsell me. When I told Dr. Boom’s office that I wanted to speak to him and I was going to cancel the appointment for the fillings, the office said they would cancel the appointment but the doctor never called me. There are much better dentists in Hoboken who are honest and provide good care. My last cleaning there also lasted only 15 minutes and I doubt whether it was done well given at my next cleaning at the new dentist I was told there was a lot of plaque. UPDATE: Dr. Boom called me to explain why he thought there were cavities. He was immensely apologetic for his office staff not relaying the message to call me back and followed up with them to ensure this doesn’t happen again to future patients. While this can’t change the past, I certainly appreciate Dr. Boom trying to make things right.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff! Did some great, quick work. Found cavities in the X-ray, had me back that afternoon to fill them.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been happy with my visits to Boom Smiles. Dr Boom and his staff explain everything in detail they are professional and my appointments have always been on time. They explain what you may need done in the future and the prices are reasonable.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were very friendly and did a great job with the teeth cleaning

Experiencia fantástica: Every member of the staff is super friendly and both Dr Marwa and Dr Roshni are great at explaining all the options available for continued care and treatment

Experiencia negativa: I went there last year, and the dentist told me I needed to replace so many fillings for a very expensive price. I was surprised since all the fillings were done only 2 or 3 years before. So I checked with another honest dentist who told me the fillings were just stained but still good, and that I didn't need to replace them yet. It's so disappointing to see some dentists just want to make money, even if it damages the teeth of their customers.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly, honest, clean, high tech equipment. I found my village. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Marwah and her team are amazing! They are kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and provide excellent customer service! I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing all around. Would recommend to everyone!!! 10/10.

Experiencia fantástica: Great doctor and staff. Would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an emergency visit, and Dr. Boom and Dr. Marwah took excellent care of me. I initially came in for a deep cavity, but after I was seated, Dr. Boom noticed another cavity in the adjacent tooth. He made sure to inform me and asked for my approval before proceeding, and clearly explaining the copay upfront, which I really appreciated. The doctors’ hands are also very gentle and light (which is hard to find!) Angie, the dental assistant made sure I was comfortable after the procedure and taught me all the post op care i need. The office itself is very clean and even smells great, which made the experience more comfortable. The staff are very welcoming & hospitable. Thank you, Boom Smiles! I highly recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: Was waiting for my teeth whitening appointment for two weeks just to get a consultation saying I apparently have to spend insane amount of money on x rays just so they can put a whitening gel on my teeth. What a joke.

Experiencia fantástica: My BOOM Smiles experience was fantastic ! The team were kind and encouraging and constantly made sure I was doing OK during my teeth cleaning which is nerve racking ! The doctor and assistants are great and gentle, and the receptionist is always welcoming and helpful. I actually enjoy coming here, which says a lot for a dentist office.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s not even close. Boom is far and away the best dental office in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: After going to a lot of scammy dentists, I really appreciate that BOOM Smiles has honest dentists that are trying to help and not just make a buck off of you. Experiencia fantástica: BOOM Smiles is great! Every appointment is super efficient! The staff is very friendly, and they always keep me informed about what I need—and smiling. I feel well taken care of at every visit!

Experiencia negativa: The service was okay, but the rules are horrible and they overcharge a lot on every appointment. Even after insurance, they take almost full payment and when the claim is processed, the EoB shows they have overcharged by $100-200 on every appointment. Then the refund takes atleast a month or two after so many follow ups for each refund. Would recommend to search for another dentist around who doesn’t overcharge like this.

This was my first visit and he took time reviewing my dental history and came up with the plan and perform the procedure same day. It was painless. Office staff is very friendly and caring. Boom smiles is the place to go for any dental care need.

Experiencia fantástica: Great dental experience. Boom is a really nice guy. The office honors appointments. I’ve never been kept waiting. My examination was thorough. He gave me my options. He was scrupulously honest about what insurance covered and did not push for anything beyond that which was covered. I think it’s fair to say he is one of the very few dentists, of the many I have known, Who may have trusted completely
