I didn’t feel welcome, other than the lady who checked me in was very sweet with a wonderful smile ( the only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1) The office doesn’t look like it’s well taken care of. There’s lots of scratches on the walls not really a whole lot of attention to detail. I really wish I could have stayed with Mansfield family dentistry. Unfortunately the VA doesn’t work with them anymore. They feel like family there, sincerely.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived early and was happily greeted. Being this was a latter appointment afternoon. The Staff in the front asked for my name and appointment time. Even though I was early I was immediately asked for the identification needed for scanning. I was prepared by completing the new patient application prior to arriving for this appointment. The whole process was effortless and easy. Within 15 minutes I was escorted in to take dental x-rays. Everything went relatively smooth, except for the blood pressure. I have been diagnosed with lipoedema and my arms are puffy. For me, the medical professionals take my blood pressure manually. As a small piece of sand on a beach, taking blood pressure otherwise is redundant. After the x-rays the Dentist showed pictures of each part of my teeth and his recommendations for a dental plan for me. I was encouraged to communicate and ask questions. I felt very comfortable from the time of entry throughput the process.

Experiencia negativa: WHAT A RIP OFF! They just billed my insurance for EX rays and office visit and the Dr did NOTHING!!! I asked if the Dr would do an extraction or a possible root canal because I am in so much pain. I was assured the doctor available would be able to do one or the other same day. I was given an emergency appointment. They took X-rays and told me they could not do a root canal or an extraction that they would send me to another Dr. totally incompetent staff!

The doctor is knowledgeable and very kind and friendly. He’s also very gentle, which is very important. I don’t care to go to the dentist due to bad experiences as a kid, but this doctor gave me a shot and I didn’t feel a thing!! Seriously- and I’m super sensitive!! I felt nothing! I highly recommend him for that alone, lol, but truly he’s the kindest person and took all the time needed to get things just right. Seems to be a bit of a perfectionist, just like me…which I think is a great quality for a dentist to have. I highly recommend seeing them for any of you or your family’s dental needs. I have had a fantastic experience every time I’ve been. (It does get a little cool at times so I bring a sweater - that’s the only “extra” I can think of. The rest is “smooth sailing”.)

Experiencia negativa: My son went in for a simple extraction and due to the error of a dentist at Lowe’s Farm we ended up having to go to another practice to have an oral surgeon fix what this office messed up. Shaun the office manager promised a refund to my insurance and to refund what we paid out of pocket and has not been true to her word and has been dodging my calls and not responding to messages that I’ve left by phone and their text message system. I don’t know how they have a 4.6 rating. I don’t want this to happen to someone else’s child. Terrible experience

Experiencia fantástica: I was having two extractions done, as I came in I was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. They had me fill out a small amount of paperwork. Then shortly after I was ushered into the back by and assistant who went about getting me ready for the Doctor. After a few minutes the Doctor came in spoke briefly with me and then went about giving me local anesthesia for my mouth. I then waited a few minutes for it to take effect! She then went to work extracting each tooth, smoothly and efficiently. When she was done her assistant gave & my wife a briefing on care and went !the prescription for me! All in All a very pleasant experience!

Dr. Beverly was very patient and kind and communicated very well during treatment for comfort levels. Everyone, from the dential assistant to the front desk staff to the hygienist to the doctor himself, is as lovely and kind as can be. My teeth were stained beyond belief and after my hygienist was done, you wouldn't know that I drink six cups of black coffee a day! I can't recommend this practice enough! I'm actually looking FORWARD to my cleaning in six months!

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to like this place…. I really did. I spent hours with my insurance trying to find an updated list and the insurance rep gave me this place by name. (Mind you, their directory was not updated as I had already called 3 other places only to be rejected.) I went for my appt, spent 2 hours being poked and prodded and basically told I needed a lot of work. Almost $5,000 worth. I was shell-shocked so I did not understand what was happening and went home saying I needed to think about it. Before I even visited I spoke with someone over the phone saying, “Can you confirm you do take my specific insurance and plan?” They said yes. I asked again when I went in for the appointment before I was seen. They said yes. And then it hit me, they were saying I needed to pay $5k AFTER insurance - that did not make sense. I found my individual plans fee schedule and compared the codes on my quote with my insurance and that’s when I saw it. They were not including my insurance for any of the costs… so either they are NOT covered by my insurance and they lied (or they were confused, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt). Or, they are covered but they did not run it through insurance… and don’t plan to. Because the total I got for the very same things they showed — minus several codes that do not exist outside their office systems -- I came up with $1220 for my total. A more than $3,000 difference…. If you don’t take someone’s insurance, just say it. And don’t lie and make someone feel like they have to go even more in debt just to make money. Everything’s expensive right now, but if you’re making up random codes and reasons to rack up the price, that’s so wrong. The office staff was nice, the assistant was also very nice, the doctor herself didn’t seem to care about anything and was very monotone. Not cold, but just didn’t seem to really care or want to be there. (Maybe she was having a bad day?) Anyways. If you go, just know what to look for and look at your quote and make sure you’re covered. I won’t be back.

Experiencia positiva: I went in for an initial intake appointment with no specific concerns. Staff was friendly and considerate, taking time to address my concerns and answer my questions, give recommendations, explain their procedures. Unfortunately there were several disappointing aspects to the appointment. We started with x-rays. The staff did not take proper precautions based on my medical history until they realized partially through the proceedings. Additionally, the technician had to restart my x-rays because the program crashed. After rebooting the program and re-taking all of my x-rays, the program was glitching. I sat and waited while she took individual screenshots of each x-ray and saved them to the computer. After this, she was able to repetitively save them individually in the proper x-ray program (all this instead of a simple "save all" button that was apparently disfunctional). This took quite a bit of time, and I was unable to proceed with my appointment for a while as I waited. I'm not sure if this was an issue with a single computer or this "new software", but it was quite inconvenient and took an hour and a half in total without any cleaning. Only x-rays and probing were done, with the hygiene (cleaning) scheduled for a later date. I understand the type/level of cleaning is determined based on the former procedures, but I have never had an initial intake or other dental appointment where a cleaning did not follow. My sister works in a dental office, and she said that they will typically schedule for a normal cleaning when a new patient is coming in with no concerns. The staff was unsure if hygiene had availability that day and had to check once my x-rays were done.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the fastest and least painful extraction. I did not even know when he extracted it . It was so quick and painless . I also had cleaning done . Very sweet older lady . Explained everything she was doing as she was doing it . Thank you all for a great experience .

Experiencia negativa: ortho (very knowledgeable) and ortho sales guy, 5 stars. them aside, i was scheduled for an ortho consultation and then an initial dental exam & cleaning (new patient) right after. i work 85 hours/week so i made sure with the scheduler (several times) that there’d be no issues scheduling back to back appointments. sure enough, the hygienist couldn’t see me until tomorrow cuz she was “too busy.” i’ll never go back here. it sucks cuz i was ready to put my deposit down with the ortho, but not if the office doesn’t know how to schedule- with 1 day off/month, i can’t afford my time wasted.

Experiencia positiva: I have given this office a five-star review in the past, but my last visit gave my pause. As always, I booked my appointment six months in advance. Still, I was contacted via text only one day before that appointment on 12/20 to be told that I had to reschedule with the only options being the next day or some time in January. I chose 12/21 at 11:30. When I arrived at 11:20, the receptionist/office manager informed me that my appointment was not until noon. I showed her the text that said 11:30. Nevertheless, I still was not seen until 12:10. (I asked why my appointment had been rescheduled and was informed that no hygienists were working the day of my original appointment:-/) The hygienist who eventually saw me, Beverly, was as thorough as any had ever been, and she told me a trick about flossing with the middle fingers instead of the forefingers that really works. I hope she chooses to stay at the office for at least the next six months. (I've been frustrated by the lack of consistency in hygienists over the last two years.) I needed MI paste, which costs $25 for a small tube, but the lovely receptionist/office manager gave it to me without charging me because of the scheduling debacle. I hope that she, too, will stay, but Lowes Farm has become a revolving door of employees, unfortunately. Still, my oral health is excellent, and everyone who works there--even in the short-term--is polite and competent.

Experiencia negativa: I repeatedly asked if they see kids and do cleaning for them before booking my appointment and they said yes. When I got there, they signed me in and took my son’s xray for his teeth and after a long wait, the dentist came in for like 5 mins and told me my son had four cavities and that they do not do cleaning for children. He went ahead to refer me to pediatric dental. Why did you take my appointment in the first place and waste my time only to refer me to someone else after subjecting my child to radiation from xray. Well I went to Pediatric dental and guess what? The dentist said my son had zero cavities and his teeth was in perfect condition. I should add that they told me they could fix my son’s non existent cavities but that their dental hygienist does not do cleaning for kids. The front reception was very unwelcoming. Stay away from this place. They will make up things so they can bill you for something you don’t have. They also clearly do not treat kids so stay away. The only good thing that came out of the appointment was their referral.

Experiencia negativa: my husband and I went to this new dentist on November 2nd. Upon arrival, the receptionist wasn't there yet, she was late and nobody was there to great us. I had time to had a look and this place is dirty and outdated. We scheduled an appointment as new clients, for just cleaning. They took x-rays and didn't do any cleaning, they sent us away with a list of things they would like to do, that sum up to $700, we did not have any procedure or the cleaning we asked for. this was a waste of time for myself as it was the only PTO I had left for the year. Then we get a letter from our insurance saying I had an extensive exam and my husband billed as existing client and an annual exam. They are trying to get money off insurance!! I hope they won't send us a bill because we will dispute. AVOID this dentistry, go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Patel is great and explains everything clear. I’m sitting here waiting for my son to see the periodontist and an employee was talking loud and disrespectful to the manager. Not caring about patients listening to everything. Looks to me that the employee was using the victim role and doesn’t like to work or be corrected. Then she comes backs into office to give her last words very unprofessional. The manager didn’t want to make a scene so let her run her mouth. In life we have to be corrected because we’re not perfect people.

I noticed just now that a lot of the most current reviews are not good. The phone options dont work correctly. Brident puts you on hold indefinetly. The person in charge of billing disputes is not at work and does not return calls. Good luck if you have a billing dispute Went in for yearly exam, but they started doing tests that were not covered by my insurance. I asked them to do only what was covered and they said ok. But then I got a bill that says I owe them for the service. So I called the number and selected billing and the message says this number does not exist and to try again. The entire experience did not match the reviews that they get. I am not sure how that is, but I will not go back. Please note that a lot of the most current reviews are not good. They love you coming in and billing you but that is where the love stops. They are in disarray in all areas of the company. Local and Corp.
