Fantastic experience: I have been going to Gulfshore dentistry for quite a while. My original Dentist, Dr Komara, retired and Dr. Mike Golovin took over the practice about a year ago. I’ve continued going there for my cleanings and have always had a good experience. Karen is my hygienist and she is wonderful. She is very gentle and does a great job. I also really appreciate being able to get an early morning appointment before work. Recently, I had a problem with one of my teeth and needed a crown. I was honestly very nervous about it because I’ve had trouble staying numb during dental work in the past. I was worried I was going to have a difficult experience. Dr. Mike was amazing. He got me completely numb and I didn’t feel a thing. I didn’t even need to be numbed again during the procedure, which was the first for me! They also have the technology to do a crown in one visit, and I was really impressed with how everything was done. It was definitely high-tech compared to what I’ve experienced before.Vula, Dr. Mike‘s assistant has been with the practice since I started going there. She’s is always so kind, knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable. My crown looks great, I have no pain and I’m very happy with how everything turned out. After being nervous about having the work done, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Dr. Mike and everyone at Gulfshore dentistry. Finding a Dentist you trust and feel comfortable with it so important, especially when you’ve had some not so great dental experiences in the past. I’m very happy I found this office!

Fantastic experience: I love everyone in this entire office. From the receptionist, to the hygienist, to Dr.Mike. Everyone is so kind and considerate. Karen, my hygienist is so lovely and gentle and also quick when I’ve had to get back to work in a hurry. I feel cared for and welcomed by every single person. 100/10.

Dr. Mike is a caring, talented, forthright, and highly qualified clinician who provides the most-gentle anesthesia injections I’ve ever had, and his concern for your comfort is genuine!! His relationship with dental assistant, Dana, is proof that they’re a talented team who are not only efficient, but truly respect each other! This is the proof I needed to experience, and they performed like a finely-tuned and anticipative team. This office has quickly earned my trust and business, and I’m happy to recommend Dr. Mike and his wonderful team to anyone who needs a full-service, modern, and well-managed dental provider.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Gulf Shore Dentistry. I broke a tooth, and they were able to get me in very quickly. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Mike did a great job fixing my tooth. I really appreciate how well they took care of me!

Negative experience: 304$ to recenent crown (5 mintes or less required several X-rays even though I’d recently had teeth cleaning; all INDIVIDUAL X-rays vs 360, $$. Crowns all original Dr Komara so had all previous patient info

Fantastic experience: Wow. It had been years since I had seen the dentist. I was nervous but every single person at Gulf Shore Dentistry has been terrific. I had a ton of work done and at one point texted Dr. Mike on a Friday night because I had an unexpected infection. He immediately called in the antibiotics and I felt better within hours. All the front office girls are terrific and I just adore my hygienist Karen, and Vula is also the best. Love this group ! Your teeth will thank you.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience at Gulf Shore Dentistry. Dr Golovin was replacing a crown on my back molar. I was amazed the injections to numb the area were absolutely painless. The entire process went smoothly and the crown fit “perfectly”. Not all that bite, grind and tap tap a million and one times!! Fantastic experience: I had 10 teeth worked on for caps. I was a bit anxious having all that work done at one time. That anxiety faded fast since the care I received was excellent; no pain, even with the injections. My temporary caps look great and I am eagerly awaiting my permanent caps. Dr. Komara, and his assistant, were patient, caring and very talented. Today I saw Dr. Mikes. He is personable, friendly, compassionate and very competent. He gave me a thorough exam and I will be returning for him to insert two crowns- all at one visit.

Fantastic experience: I had exterior gum level fillings done on 3 teeth today that required removing the old fillings first. Dana was the very friendly, professional and helpful tech during the prep and procedure. Dr Golovin is the same and is also very precise throughout the whole procedure. Quite an effective team. Couldn’t have gone better for both my comfort, speed and the final outcome. A digital picture at the end showed the smooth new fillings that look and feel like new. Excellent visit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Komara turned over his practice to Dr. Mike Golovin a few months ago. What an awesome choice! I broke a piece off a molar last night, called this morning and the office was able to get me in for an appointment on short notice. Dr. Mike put a crown on the broken tooth and added a crown on an adjacent tooth that was giving me trouble! The dental assistants were amazing and let me watch the high-tech crown fabrication process which involves a 3-D scan of the teeth and an automated crown fabrication machine! It was fascinating for a tool junkie like me! Thank you Dr. Mike and the assistants!

Dr. Mike seems as though he has just stepped into the shoes if Dr. K with ease and calmness. Fantastic experience: I went to this dentist office due to a broken tooth on my implant. I expected to see an older dentist. In walked on a young , handsome man . I was a bit nervous. I have had many bad experiences and only went to dentists my oral surgeon recommended. However, he was kind and seemed to be knowledgeable, and there I was with three missing teeth in the front of my mouth. He was honest and so I thought I would give him the chance. He and his staff were amazing. I am not sorry I took a chance on this dentist. He is taking over for Dr. Komana , who is retiring. As Komara Dentistry becomes Gulf Shore Dentistry it is wonderfully reassuring to know that Dr Komara has obtained the best dentist to continue the first rate care his patients have come to expect. A terrific bonus is that the staff is staying with the newly named Gulf Shore Dentistry. Fantastic experience: Honestly Dr. Komara is one of the best in the area! I went in to see him about shaping my teeth after I had just did my Invisalign and before he did it he pointed out something that needed to be corrected that would have caused me issues in the long run. I am so thankful he mentioned something because the issue is fixed and I went back to have him shape them afterwards and he really did an amazing job and just completed the look of my teeth to perfection! He truly does care and I am so happy I found him! Also cleanings there are excellent as well!

Fantastic experience: GREAT DENTIST I was on vacation in Dunedin when I broke a tooth on my upper denture on a Friday afternoon. I called Dr Kamara's office first thing on Monday. The staff got me in for a appointment that morning. i saw the Doctor at about 10AM. He examined me and took an impression of my mouth. He was able to get my broken denture to a lab right away. I got a call at 1:30PM that my repair had been completed and i should come in at 3:45PM . At 3:45 I saw the doctor and he made a few adjustments to my bite and I was on my way home with a repaired denture in my mouth by 4:15 PM. This is a private practice not a clinic and you see the difference in the professionalism, knowledge and attitude of the staff. They are here for the patient. The equipment is state of the art and Dr. Komara has maintained a lifelong commitment to continued education. Recently, I discovered that Dr. Komara once taught Dentistry at a major university. He is innovative and really knows his profession but he is also kind and highly professional. There are many choices for dental care but none better. He and his staff are a rare find.
