Fantastic experience: I have seen Dr. Spencer since 10/23/2020. He is an exceptional dentist, knowledgeable and thorough. He cares, which today is quite rare in some providers.

He is a wonderful gentle dentist who truly cares. The hygienist Danielle is exceptional. The office is beautiful. What a lovely experience.

I called on Monday, and they were able to schedule me for an appointment that same day. Dr. Spencer thoroughly explained his examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment options. He is an excellent listener and took the time to ensure that I understood everything before making a decision. I chose to have the tooth removed, and Dr. Spencer was able to perform the extraction during the same visit. Throughout the procedure, he explained what was happening, which helped put me at ease. The extraction was completed expertly and with great care. I feel fortunate to have found Dunedin Dental Associates. Fantastic experience: Dr. Spencer and staff were amazing. I called in as a new patient for an emergency appointment due to a broken tooth. I was met with empathy and and incredible response time when my appointment was scheduled the next morning. My entire experience from start to finish made me feel valued and respected. It was as if I had a long standing relationship with them despite being a new patient. Dr. Spencer deserves his own paragraph simply because he was beyond amazing. It has been historically challenging to find a dentist that I can not only trust but who creates a safe relaxing environment that I am comfortable in. The amount of knowledge displayed during my visit was incredibly impressive. He managed to educate me on the issues I have had for quite some time, the root cause, and multiple pathways to correct them. My situation is a bit complicated and he is the first dentist that really helped me understand what is happening and what needs to be done to correct it. He worked quickly yet invested a lot of time ensuring I was comfortable, educated , and satisfied with the results. Not to mention my entire experience was pain free. In a medical world of rushed appointments and unanswered questions this is the first time in quite sometime that I did not feel rushed or like I needed to perform my own medical research to advocate for myself. I fully intend to continue working with this incredible team in the future and look forward to repairing my smile one amazing visit at a time under the guidance of a professional team that clearly seems to have a passion for what they do. Fantastic experience: Awesome office!!❤️ 2 back molars with old fillings broke off awhile back...very recent serious infection/toothache occurred..they got me in, in 24 hr time for urgent eval/put on antibiotic & given the estimate for extraction to be done soon. Extremely kind & patient staff...warm & professional staff from Kim up front desk to the techs who listened to my VERY nervous, pain filled ramblings & Dr. Spencer is one of the best dentists I've ever had...really listened & so very calm & eased my anxiety right away & did I mention..VERY handsome & so professional but fun.??!! And office is spotless, super clean & love the bird feeders in the window to watch while he examined me. I think I found a new home after years of not having a regular one. Highly recommend if you have dentist office phobia..they treated me like family. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I had read several reviews for Dr Burton and they were great so I decided to schedule an appointment. He and his staff live up to those reviews! He is patient, spent time explaining procedures and ensuring I understood everything. I have quite a bit of work that has to be done and I'm confident he can take very good care of me. I was also impressed that he did not charge for the initial consultation. That has not been my experience with any of the other dentists I have been to regarding the work I need done. I can honestly say any reservations I may have had at the beginning when switching from a dentist I had had for 25+ years were eliminated immediately. Dr Spencer and his staff with Danielle, Kim. And Paula are excellent in what they do. They always inform me of what is going on during the procedure and I am confident that I am in great hands for whatever service is being performed. When looking for professional dental services, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Spencer and Dunedin Dental Associates.

Fantastic experience: I'm honestlyhonestly someone who dreads the dentist, so I was nervous walking into my appointment — but my experience at Dunedin Dental Associates was incredible! From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel welcomed and cared for. Kim and Jesse were so kind, understanding, and reassuring — they answered all my questions and made me very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Dr Spencer is excellent, caring, listens and communicates very clearly. He is helping my mother and after her appointment today she said “I would recommend Dr Spencer to anyone without reservation”, that says it all.

Negative experience: Going to this dentist was the biggest mistake I have ever gotten tricked into. This office was rude, and the dentist was so self absorbed, with this young incompetent staff that I shook in my chair. While having to have a cracked tooth pulled, the dentist and his staff botched an X-ray so it had to be taken again, and then worse, this mid-30's age dentist did nothing but talk to the girls, while I was unaware of what was happening to me. I was in so much excruciating pain, and these people, that "work on teeth" were the most insensitive staff on earth. The very stuck-up receptionist was even worse. I found these people were the worst place anyone can go, and I see they try very hard to erase real reviews that they should learn from and alter their office conduct to not talk to each other versus pay attention to the patient. I have never felt less comfortable to be in a dentist's office and trust them w/ the care of my teeth health, and I should have done more before I paid them, $500 or so to have a tooth pulled. Next time, I'd take Ambe Sol and pain killers for the pain and do research before I ever went to a dentist to a place I just moved to. They don't like real reviews at all, hoping they do better. They try to get them removed, and for a person like me that was so jilted by this dentist, and mistreated, I am not sure I will ever feel less upset. But I have found way better dentists here in Florida, and people that do not mistreat their patients and then try to get the review taken down. Most people are scared to go to the dentist, and earning their trust is key. When staff is young and only talks about themselves and what they are going to do for the weekend, while you are in a chair, suffering in massive pain, it's sickening that they don't have better etiquette. I would never recommend this office, and it's shocking how the receptionist makes decisions that the dentist should make and no one put her in her place. I worked for a doctor, I would NEVER make decisions that he should make. Whatever her position is, she should leave patient / dentist decisions to the dentis. This could have been pulled out of the ditch by a conversation, but she put it into the ditch even further. Sites pay for ads on Google, but that does not mean they get to remove reviews that are truthful and need to teach the staff to do better.

Fantastic experience: Another edit: I'm not sure when that last edit was, but I was just getting a tooth worked on by Dr. Burton today, and I thought I would check my review. As usual, the work was exceptional, and I met a new tech (to me) named Vanessa. TBH, I'm not usually impressed by a dental technician but she treated me so well and assisted the doctor with both grace and skill. Plus she knew about a dive bar I used to like going to called Mahuffers in Indian Shores, FL. The staff is always great here but she exceeded all expectations. I hope that anyone looking for a good dentist gives them a shot. They're definitely not a "bargain basement" or "chain store" kind of dental clinic but they are well worth the money if you have someone doing construction work inside your mouth! Okay, that's it, go back to whatever you were doing before stumbling into my review...and don't forget to brush your teeth! EDIT: Here I am 4 years later and still a big fan of these dentists! Just had new O-rings put in my dentures today. I went to discuss possible dental work on my implants with them and was very happy with their response. Dr Burton told me that, in his opinion, I didn't need any additional work or implants to handle my current dentures and not to waste my money. Most dentists I have dealt with are always willing to take my money so meeting one that was totally honest with me was very refreshing! I think I found myself a keeper LOL!. EDIT: Another day, another trip to the dentist. Today was O-Rings for the dentures again and to have the doctor check sensitivity in a couple of teeth, but the weird part is that all my lower teeth have had root canals. Dr Burton took a look and told me I had some problems with my gums. 5 minutes later I was walking out the door with a special mouthwash and an appointment for a cleaning. Doesn't get any easier than that!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has suffered with extreme anxiety from a traumatic dental experience at an early age, this is the FIRST time on my life I have had such a positive & comforting experience! All staff were welcoming and sensitive to my needs! After spending a great deal of time with me raking xrays, pictures measurements etc Dr.Spencer explained in length all my options and we were able ti agree in the best course of action. I can honestly say knowing all that I know now about Dunedin Dental Associates that I would recommend this practice to anyone! Again, it was the best Dental experience I've ever had! Dr. Spencer & his staff were surgery compassionate and understanding the days leading up to my surgery! Having had extreme anxiety and dreading. the dentist for years, finding Dr Spencer. & his staff was an answered prayer! Throughout the surgery they provided me with peace and calm as they explained every step of the process and we're so reassuring! I would recommend them to everyone I know and have already started to do so!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentists and staff. I spend half my time in Florida and half in Michigan. I now schedule my dental appointments in Florida at Dunedin Dental Associates. They have up to date equipment. Their office is easy to get to and has ample parking. My first visit to them was in an emergency. I walked in without an appointment. They realized that I needed urgent care and they promptly took care of me.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Spencer and the staff at DDA are warm and friendly and extremely accommodating. They were able to see me immediately after my crown cracked whereas my regular dentist couldn’t fit me in for another two weeks. The office is super clean and located conveniently on Main Street, just 1.5 mi from downtown Dunedin. I appreciate that Dr. Spencer, a veteran who served on the US Dental Core, used a digital impression to create my crown, which was far more efficient than the original one formed by a physical impression. I highly recommend Dunedin Dental Associates.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental ‘accident ‘ and broke the VERY top section of my bottom front center tooth off by eating something I knew better than to chomp on. I’m celebrating my birthday this coming Sunday and flying north the same day to celebrate the holidays with family. I called the office and was fit in the schedule the next morning. Dr Spencer and Vanessa replaced fixed my tooth and it looks better than ever! Great team and office.
