Negative experience: He was not professional at all. During my last visit, I had a very difficult experience with him. He made fun of my hat, which was very disrespectful. He also inserted the probe very roughly, and when I screamed in pain, he responded by saying, “What are you saying?” instead of showing concern. In addition, he pushed the helper’s hand away. His behavior during this visit was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this facility for a while, but this was my first time seeing Dr. Pelin Kurugol. I was so impressed! She was incredibly professional and caring during my filling. It’s great to know that even with a new doctor, the high level of care at this office hasn't changed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Susan Ezzati was very caring and professional at my first visit to the office (after an unfortunate gap in dental care as my dentist retired a few years ago). She was very clear about the many problems she discovered and did not do any unnecessary procedures as she immediately referred me to a periodontist. Everyone at the office was friendly and they made sure I felt welcomed. It was a beautiful experience at the office. Too bad my teeth are not as healthy as they used to be!

Fantastic experience: It was really great to be able to return to your practice after 11 years when I had insurance with a different carrier. I never had the trust and rapport with other dentists that I have with your practice. Each visit I feel even better about returning.

Fantastic experience: I met Dr Cyrus Ezzati recently and I can sum up my experience by saying I wish I had met him a number of years ago. The office is fully compliant with everything one would expect in the COVID-19 era. You call as you wait outside the door until you are asked to enter for a temperature check and a short set of questions before you are escorted to a treatment room. You rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution before your treatment. Dr Ezzati is knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive and skilled. He explains everything he is doing. While he has an assistant who does polishing and flossing, he performs dental cleanings himself. In my case, he expertly replaced a filling that had fallen out and replaced a crown that had failed, both of which were the work of other dentists. He does not recommend procedures that are unnecessary to boost profits. He easily resolved a problem that I have put up with for several years despite bringing it to the attention of other dentists. Update: It is several years after my original review and I still would recommend Dr Ezzati to anybody looking for a dentist. Everybody who works there is friendly, helpful, and competent.

Fantastic experience: I had to get two crowns recently and it went very smoothly because Dr. Susan Ezzati took great care not only in the mechanics but also in the aesthetics of matching color and shade to the surrounding teeth. She has been my dentist for some time now and she has always been pleasant in manner and meticulous in treating my dental needs.

Despite no longer working in the South Bay, I still drive from the East Bay to go to Foothill Dental because of the amazing experience I have always had. Fantastic experience: Friday June 20, 2025. I had an appointment at Foothill Dental@ 09:30 that I didn’t make. I called to reschedule and Dr Ezzati asked me to come in @11:30. I came more like10::30 and they accommodated me quickly. It was awesome!

But I had a cleanup/xray/panorama picture with the new Hygienist, Ms. Angira. She did a complete exam, cleaning and polishing and she spent some good time to clean all teeth carefully. The receptionist was as always polite and responsive. I had a great experience and hope to see the new dentist next time

I went for a second opinion and everything was ok...still ok after several months.

I had a very negative experience when I had been younger that left me very intimidated by dentists overall. I knew it was something that I should be doing though. I did the brave thing and made an appointment years ago with Foothill Dental. I have now been going to this office for 8-9 years and I'm planning on staying with. The staff is very warm and welcoming and just made the experience into one that is not a big deal now. Thank you so much! Your office is definitely one that I recommend to anyone in the area!

Fantastic experience: The normal pleasant professional interaction about a potentially unpleasant situation. Going to the dentist is almost no one’s favorite thing, but Dr (Cyrus) Ezzati tells you what is going on, what’s going to happen, what did happen, and what to expect/look forward to in the future. In my book, everything you could ask for in a dentist. He’s a bit more talkative, but his sister, the other Dr (Susan) Ezzati, is a bit quieter, and she’s a better fit for my less-talkative son, so however you like your dentist, both dentists provide high quality dental care with a good human interface.
