Fantastic experience: Tiffany, my hygienist was friendly and thorough while cleaning my teeth. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Syska is wonderful dentist and he explained my options about some upcoming procedures. He is honest and very professional.

Fantastic experience: I just recently moved to the area and was in desperate need of a dentist due to some work that I had done previously that was causing me some pain. I found this dentist through none other than Google and was blessed to have them within the network of my insurance. I have nothing but positive things to say about this dentist office. They are welcoming, friendly, very personable with all of their patients. And may I mention they play the best 80s music if you’re looking for a true experience, the tooth shop of Ocala is definitely it!!

Fantastic experience: Not necessarily a fan of someone working in my mouth, I have to say that the Hygenists are really good at what they do. Dr. Syska is someone I often refer to as the painless Dentist because of all the work he's done on me, I can't say I ever was in any pain or discomfort.

Positive experience: I have a new hygienist that I don't especially care for. She seems to waste time doing who knows what but not cleanìng my teeth. It felt like she cut the procedure short to finish on time. I would like to have someone else next time.

Dr. Syska is very trustworthy and it’s clear that he cares for his patients. Unlike these corporations that treat you like a paycheck, the tooth shop’s staff knows and values you as a person. After having many bad experiences with corporate dental offices, it was such a relief to be somewhere where they dentist knew what he was talking about and wants to help you.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was an emergency due to a veneer that popped off. I was worked into the schedule. The front desk was very professional and friendly. The office is very clean and the doctor along with the assistant explained the procedure of a crown prep extremely well. The modern equipment was impressive to me especially since I have a background in dentistry. I can only recommend this practice to all who are looking for a friendly and professional dental office.

Beautiful office environment with a lovely relaxing view into the woods from my treatment room that certainly assisted in calming any anxiety’s. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and I have no reservations about my next appointment. I will be highly recommending to others.

Positive experience: Another new hygienist. Not a fan. Donna was nice but i felt like she was not focused. Also new dentist. Pushing me to extract tooth that is not bothering me. Neither were concerned that i have cold sensitivity since last procedure. Never had any issues with tooth until refilled old filling.

Negative experience: Treated like a number……After 20 years of patronage, they don’t care anymore. High turnover, horrible wait times, don’t take insurance. I’m done.

Fantastic experience: Dentist and nurse were very willing to make me comfortable. My back is in bad shape right now, and the angle & position I was in triggered vertigo. They waited for vertigo to pass & adjusted my position to be able to finish the procedure.

Negative experience: I've had an appointment booked for months. I call to tell them my coverage has changed and she didn't even get the information on my new coverage put me on a 5 second hold came back and said oh we don't take it. I replied you didn't even ask me for the new coverage information so how would you even know. She made excuse. She was very rude and unprofessional. Please don't even waste your time with these people.

Negative experience: Staff at the front desk are rude. Would not recommend. Dentist recommend a procedure. Advised the front desk staff I couldn't afford the procedure and that I would just get a regular cleaning until I could afford it. Front desk staff told me I couldn't get a regular cleaning until I got the procedure done. I have been getting a regular cleaning by the military for 8 and half years. Nothing is different with my teeth. Made me feel as if they are only in this for money.

Fantastic experience: I was there for a scheduled cleaning. Each time I am there can always count on staff being prompt, efficient and professional. If I have questions, time is given for answers and explanation if needed. Unquestionably 5 Star!!!

Positive experience: I love this office! Dentist and hygienist are wonderful. However, check out was a bit awkward. Was asked to wait in the waiting room and I’d be called back to check out. I get it, one person at a time for patient privacy. However, the person in front of me left and there was no recognition that I was still in the waiting room. After a few minutes, I tapped on the window and was told to please wait while she cleaned up her entire desk. When I was finally called back, it was fine, she’s a bit curt, but can live with that. When we finalized my paperwork, insurance covered my appointment so there was no money exchanged, I then waited to see if she would confirm a credit on my account. She did not, so I pulled my EOB and bank transaction statement showing she had overcharged me, this is the second time that’s happened. She then confirmed the credit. I highly recommend this office. Just be diligent with comparing what you paid to your EOB. Like I said, second time this happened with her.
