Fantastic experience: Very helpful, walked me through my treatment plan and very caring

Negative experience: Go to this office if you want to waste your time and money. Found this dentist on my insurance website, listed as “in network”. Went for cleaning, couldn’t schedule the appt for the next treatment until 6 weeks out because the dentist is transitioning to that office and is considered “out of network” for my insurance & won’t be “in network” until the end of August and the only other dentist is only in once a week. This would’ve been great information before I wasted my time getting established. Then the hygienist accused me of grinding my teeth. I told her I do not. She flat out said “yes you do so stop”. I was also charged almost $100 for numbing cream that I didn’t receive during the cleaning. Will never go back.

Negative experience: Repeated to sell more services asking for a credit card each time. Are employees being paid on commission sales?? Did not feel a professional atmosphere.

Negative experience: I’m trying to schedule new appointments for my 3 child’s in this place but the receptionist lady hang up the phone on me 3 times already . Bad customer services

I appreciate the gentle but professional office. My smile has been restored and I couldn't be happier. Best hygienist for cleaning I've ever been to. Also gentle and listens to my concerns.

Negative experience: It's unfortunate that they stack customers up so tightly that any glitch and you have to wait incredibly long time to see the actual doctor, not that I understand why I need to see the doctor since the staff runs all the test?? Be less greedy and more customer service oriented. you've created an assembly line and lost the true care aspect. I finally walked out after waiting over 30 min in an empty room. I was assured there was only one other person in front of me but I had it at that point. I half expected to receive a phone call back from the doctor or somebody with my results but nope! No real care that somebody walked out just another one in the assembly line! Sad ...

Negative experience: The hygienist appeared inexperienced, and barely understood english. Created a treatment plan for a cleaning for over 1000 dollars, and when I said I will schedule at a later date. The doctor basically rated bad on needed dental paperwork, saying my rating will improve once I come back and schedule the cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I have always had a good experience here. Singal who takes care of me each time for my cleaning does a wonderful job. You can tell she cares about her job. It makes me feel at ease and cared for. I look forward to my cleanings.

Negative experience: New to Florida and found this dentist on my insurance web site. He was highly rated so thought I couldn't go wrong. Husband ended up needing a deep cleaning and they found a crown that was cracked. My husband told them he didn't think they would cover the crown and the dentist said it needed to be replaced. We sat and waited well over an hour while they “called” the insurance to make sure it was covered. Came back with a sheet with the cost along with a statement saying they had called the insurance and it would be covered. I paid the deductibles and they proceeded with the crown prep. Got a call from the dentist office after the crown was installed and the deep cleaning was performed (in 2 different days) and they said I had a deductible on my insurance that needed to be paid. I almost paid it and then I said, wait, I don't have a deductible, what exactly does it say. Then she said, oh wait, it says it is for the crown, they didn't cover it. I said but you guys said you called my insurance and it would be covered, in fact you had me sign a statement saying you called. I don't understand. The lady said she didn't know. I said I would call my insurance and she said she would put my account on hold. I called my insurance and found out the dentist NEVER called them (they have to keep a record). We sat around that day for nothing. And with looking over my husbands record they saw that during the deep cleaning (which they said could have been done in one day, which the dentist said my insurance required it be done in 2 days), they had done some other procedures that were not a part of a deep cleaning that they were charging us for that the insurance did not cover. I was not happy. Before I could call the dentist office back, I got a call from the home office out of California telling me that I owed the Florida office money and I needed to pay them, they wanted their money. I told the lady that my account should be on hold. She said my account was NOT on hold and it needed to be paid. I told her what was going on and she basically told me she didn't care and to call the dentist office. I told her I had. She just said call them again. I held off and the California office called me several times. I have reported this dentist as I know there are a lot of people on fixed incomes that live in Florida and I feel this office is taking advantage of them and definitely not being honest. I also asked my insurance how to avoid this in the future and they said do not let a dentist office do any work until you get a written statement/plan from your insurance of exactly what they will and won't pay for so you can make an informed decision. So, if you do decide to go to this dentist, Beware of everything they tell you.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist very professional as usual does a great job.

Negative experience: Treated me very disrespectful. I have been going to grand Oaks and never had any major issues with my teeth, I go here and they say my teeth and gums are in horrible condition needing thousands of dollers worth of work. Only reason I had to leave grand Oaks is because they do not take the insurance from my spouses work. I would like to go back to grandoaks just to see if there findings are as bad as this place claims.

Positive experience: I'm glad they didn't bug me to get a new crown because I had to buy a washer and my dishwasher came back to life after it was blinking for a week or two so there went $500 yeah I overspent this Christmas bad I think it's $3,000 I blew and I'm not supposed to do that

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Bright Now for my teeth cleaning. Zeina was amazing—very attentive, kind, and friendly. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and did a great job. Highly recommend her!

Negative experience: Stay away from this place. I went last year as this is one of the only dentists in town my new insurance covers. Upon my first visit I saw a dentist for 30 seconds and the rest of the time was a bad cleaning by their dental hygienist. She sold me a deep periodontal cleaning saying I really needed it. I revisited 2 extra times for this cleaning. This year, I sought a different dentist office and he saw the deep cleaning in my insurance history and was flabbergasted, totally confused why they sold me that and said I didn’t need it. Upon further investigation bright now is owned by private equity and their shtick is push unneeded services to boost profits.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She tells me how to take care of my teeth and gums and and always follows up at every appointment. My teeth and gums have improved since she has been doing my cleanings.

Positive experience: I called and made an appointment..given a day and time. When speaking of it at the payment point....there was nothing in the computer and told that I had to reschedule because its actually in the previous year,i not this one. If I didn't have this apt I would have shown up for a non exsisramg apt January 5th.

Negative experience: This was my first dental visit at this office, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. I was asked to arrive 30 minutes early, but after finishing my paperwork in about five minutes, I still wasn’t seen until around 10:17—even though my appointment was at 10:00 and I arrived at 9:30. During the visit, they took X-rays and told me I had to pay out of pocket. I didn’t understand why, because I have another insurance, but I went ahead and signed. After the X-rays, I was told the dentist would follow up, but when I mentioned that I had booked a first visit and a cleaning, I was told they didn’t have time for it. I explained that this is exactly what I scheduled the appointment for. After some back-and-forth, the dentist approved it, but the cleaning felt extremely rushed—as if it took about five minutes. When I went to the front desk to provide my secondary insurance (which is actually my primary), I was told they couldn’t take it and they didn’t even attempt to run it. When I went back to ask again, they still didn’t try and instead just printed an itemized statement. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and dismissive, and I left feeling frustrated and confused. I really expected a smoother first visit, but that wasn’t the case.

Fantastic experience: I was so grateful Dr. Stafford could take care of my problem right after my cleaning instead of having to make another appointment.

Fantastic experience: Quick and excellent evaluation of molar pain. I was referred to an endodontist to address intermittent pain.

Negative experience: Communication between the patient and staff is little to none. Educating the patient on what’s the plan is also little to none. Staff is not weary of pain level when it comes to the patient. Sometimes I feel they’re only out for the money And options are not discussed

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the staff but mostly Zena, a very knowledgeable hygienist who kept my aware of the procedure and gave options for corrections. She is top notch in my book!! Without her there, I would go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My first time there I met Kim in the reception area. She welcomed me there with a Good morning. I had called and had to have a lower denture made and the upper adjusted she was able to get me in the next day. Very nice over the phone and knowledgeable about the things I was requesting. Normally what I was needing was going to take several weeks and I had a trip coming up before the dentures would be completed. She went and talked to the doctor about my predicament and came back with good news for me that they could fit me to have the dentures in time for the trip. Everytime I have been there she has been kind to everyone and very helpful with a number of requests from patients and able to help them to their satisfaction. She is very good at coordinating several tasks at the same time is what I noticed besides always cheerful when helping other patients. I've also been in there when phone calls have been for a patient that is in need to be seen for a painful tooth etc and Kim manages to arrange for them to come in. Everytime I've been there has always been a pleasant experience and I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. The doctor and nurses/assistants are also very friendly/nice . I wouldn't think about going anywhere else because they're always positive, no problem to big to take care of.

Negative experience: We just moved to the area. I wasn't impressed with them. I felt like a number. The dentist said maybe two words to me. He didnt talk to my son at all. He didnt explain anything. The hygienist was nice enough but she was rough and caused a lot of bleeding to my gums. They also tried to push teeth whitening on me even after I said I wasn't interested.

Positive experience: The hygienist is thorough and a wealth of information. All good things. The staff is pleasant and efficient. My only concern is the cost - far far above what I have paid for dental care in the past and I have dental insurance! My copay is surprisingly high. Payment is required before services. That's new to me too.

Fantastic experience: This is the greatest staff you could ever want I’ve had problems in the past with Dentist that couldn’t get my partial right to save their life, but here they got it done the first time perfect. I have a son That has a very difficult time at the dentist, and they do everything they can to make it a smooth, comfortable experience for him. I have never met such an outstanding professional group of people in my life, five stars all day long. I am so grateful to this Dentist. They have two different doctors here and they’re both fantastic. And the dental hygienist is the best ever.Thank you guys. You’re wonderful.

Negative experience: The front desk staff have some attitude problem as well they quoted me a price that was three times the amount as anywhere else and I was able to go and get the same work done for a fraction of the price to what they quoted me I would definitely get a second opinion. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

A special thanks to you Sandra for listening to me, taking your time, finding the problem and coming up with a treatment plan. Trusting someone in your mouth is hard as it is but knowing you have concerns that are not addressed or minimized makes it even harder. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Bright now dental. Sinhal was an excellent hygienist and she cleaned my teeth fabulously! Sinhal reviewed my teeth accurately and said what was best for them. She even said how to efficiently clean my teeth after care. Not only is Sinhal good at her work but also super nice. I love this place and will always come back!

Negative experience: It's all about the money at this place not to mention poor customer service. They told me ahead of time that my insurance would cover the costs of the x-rays and teeth cleaning but I still paid a few dollars. The dental associate later informed me that she couldn't perform the cleaning because she had other patients so I had to reschedule. The dentist who examined my teeth didn't introduced himself, told me about what future work is needed, and immediately left. Staff presented me with charges for the future work. I explained to them that my insurance said they could send the treatment plan to them and they'll notify my of the exact charges. Staff said it wasn't necessary and the charges presented were the amount I would pay. We went back and forth after I explained that my former dental office later charged me for services that they said my insurance would pay and I just want to ensure a similar situation doesn't arise again. Hopefully they sent the treatment plan to my insurance. but I'm sure I won't find out until I arrive for my cleaning. I'll probably switch to a different dental office that treats patients with respect.

Negative experience: Made a review, but apparently it was posted! Monday, August 25th I received a phone call from the office manager Mrs. Pilar. I discussed my complaints regarding my previous visit. 1. I waited in the waiting room almost an hour and it continued when I went in the back. 2. The x-rays that was administered went well by the young lady. Sorry, I can't remember her name. 3. The young (same person) explained the treatment plan with me. At this point she reviewed it with me, but I was unclear about what she was saying. She was speaking too fast. I asked questions and it seemed as though she was losing patience with me mind you this is all NEW to me. She mentioned if I wanted to do the impression it would cost $300 today. Immediately I paid. 4. She did my impression for my partial. She did an awesome job. She wanted it to be perfect. I was okay with that because I wanted it to be perfect as well. 5. I saw the dentist for 10-15 minutes to mention I needed to see an Oral Surgeon. 6. Then the young lady came back to me and she explained what the next steps would be. She explained it very quickly and I was able to follow her. Therefore, I kept asking her to explain it to me again. Finally she explained it to me slowly. Which it was greatly appreciated. 7. As I went the receptionist's desk the young that did the impression and the receptionist were speaking Spanish in my presence. I found that to be rude. The ladies knew how to speak English. Today, after speaking with the Office Manager I felt better about my previous visit. She explained that she would address my concerns. I told her I appreciate her calling me regarding my complaints. I think they will do much better as far as taking care of me. Mrs. Pilar thank you again for contacting me. She explained thoroughly what to expect for next appointments regarding my permanent partial, with a detailed explanation it was appreciated. Now, I feel at ease moving forward.

Negative experience: Not sure what is happening with this place. Are they going out of business? Last I heard the dentist was out without a backup some time ago, but nothing recently. The person who was answering the phones back then acted like we were bothering her. Now nobody seems to pick up. Just a general auto recording 'Thank you for calling Bright Now Dental'

Negative experience: Not sure I’ll go back, had to go back twice the same day cause they didn’t do my fill correctly after paying $300, I mentioned something about the way it looked during my first appointment that day and they told me it would fix itself, after doing some research and calling a few other dentist I was told they gave me false information and to call them back and have them fix it asap, so called them and had to go back the same day.

Positive experience: I had issues regarding poor communication skills with their doctor and staff. Today I received a call from Maria, their office manager. She apologized for this communication issue, and assured me that she will meet with the staff and get this issue improved.

I was informed in advance about treatment, cost and benefits and dental hygiene. I have been to several dental offices and this was the best experience because of Mrs Sinhal D . She approaches patients with care and compassion, which is very rare in today’s day and time. I will highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: Was told they accept my insurance provider, only to arrive and be told they don’t. Clear outsourcing their scheduling duties to call centers, they don’t even have a clue as to what they’re doing at the most basic levels of business. Yet another example of a cash hungry practice, scheduling whatever they can at the expense of you and your day, with no regard as to whether or not they can even provide you the services you need.
