Negative experience: I want to start by saying there was nothing wrong with the care I received. But... I started going to this practice because I heard Dr. Page was great. Then I showed up to my previous appointment and Dr. Page was gone. Fine. Saw Dawn the hygienist and the traveling dentist did a filling. He was great - least painful novocaine shot I've ever had. Six months later, next cleaning, and now Dawn is gone too and there's a different traveling dentist. Who also seems fine. I would just like to have some consistency in who I see. I saw my last dentist off and on for literally 50 years. It would also be nice if the office communicated staff changes to the patients before they come in. Edited to add (and minus a star): My insurance claim came back unpaid. The office did not inform me that the new dentist does not take my insurance.

Fantastic experience: The very best. Very attentive. Professional yet very friendly and accommodating. Dr Page really listens and gives you a full detail of what's happening and presents you with choices. The hygienists are the best I've ever had.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chestnut saw my teenager for emergency tooth pain, and he and the dental assistant were lovely and explained everything. Its a very calm, quiet environment, which was a big help as my teen has had some stressful dental visits at other offices in the past. They do not take insurance, but the fee was very reasonable and it could be worth it if you have any out of network dental benefits. Finally, for me personally, it was actually a big deal that a real person answered the phone and I didn't have to leave a VM.

Negative experience: I was a patient at Capital Smiles and was previously satisfied with my experience there. However, I showed up for my scheduled cleaning to find that my hygienist and dentist no longer worked there, and further only an interim dentist was present. It is incredibly unprofessional to not inform patients of such a drastic change in service. Based on several recent reviews stating the same complaint, Capital Smiles is highly aware that this is concerning to multiple patients—yet they have taken no actions to treat patients with respect and/or inform them of the change in service. Additionally, it should be noted that they are still insisting on routine x-ray schedules and thus are not following the ADA’s latest recommendations for moderation and patient-specific decisions for x-rays. Capital Smiles does not care about their patients and I would not recommend or trust their services.

Negative experience: My dentist and dental hygienist left the practice - there was only 1 dentist in practice- dentist had left in February- it is now May- they gave me no notification of change - totally unprofessional - they also have no dentist to replace the one that left

Negative experience: I have a denture on top and only 6 teeth remaining on the bottom. I went in for a cleaning and was very happy with the work. The only problem is that I was charged 269. dollars to clean 6 teeth. I asked if this was a mistake before I paid and was told it was correct. After checking around I found offices that would do a full mouth cleaning for 118.00 dollars. I called the office back and spoke to Joyce Demers, CDA,PMO and was told 269.00 dollars was correct. When I mentioned that I only have 6 teeth she said that was different and she didn't know. While I was telling her I wanted to cancel my next cleaning because I found better pricing she said "good luck" and hung up quickly while I was still talking. I'm very disappointed...I like Dr. Page.

Fantastic experience: I arrived for my first appointment and was treated with kindness and respect. The girls at the front desk helped me navigate new client paperwork, making me feel welcomed. The hygienist (Christina?) was extremely thorough in taking my history and asking me about my needs/concerns. She took full mouth x-rays with an accuracy that made the procedure go by quickly, while being gentle. When I was introduced to Dr. page, she listened intently and even sanded out a chip in my front tooth after I mentioned it made me self conscious. Wow!!! I sure wasn't expecting that!!! They all worked well as a team and I could sense the positive vibes. Capital Smiles exceeded my expectations 10 fold.

She indicated that I did not have bad teeth that they look good. I cared for them diligently, I would highly recommend her and the practice.

Fantastic experience: New to the area and didn’t have a dentist. A crown came off less than a week before Christmas Day and a trip was scheduled for Christmas. I searched the web and picked out three dentists. Call the first dentist office, but answer was no as it was booked and the receptionist was somewhat heard not being professional. Yet, it is a holiday season. I called Dr. Erin Page’s office, and initially was told it was also fully booked but after hearing my situation, the receptionist was trying to find a spot and got an appointment. The receptionist I spoke with, the assistant of Dr. Page, and DR. Page were very welcoming and took care of me with taking time to explain the condition of the molar the crown was on, which was very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Page and her staff.

Greatly appreciated all of their affords to try and make it happen even though at the end my cleaning will be done after I return from my business trip. Although I couldn’t get the work I needed done by her (she referred me to an Endodontics specialist) , they got me in the same day to be evaluated for pain. Didn’t do anything extra that wasn’t necessary, which made the visit very affordable. Definitely will be back!

Fantastic experience: I did not been to the dentist and many many years I have the beginning of gum disease and was terrified and no insurance. They got me in super quick no judgment totally worked with me. Today was my second descaling and it saved me getting surgery. 100% recommend.
