Fantastic experience: Jade the front desk receptionist was exceptional and Dr. Koa the Absolute best along with his assistant. If you need a root canal with no pain, go to the best Dr. Koa in Latham.

Fantastic experience: Dr Choi was able to put in an implant where there was very little space. He is a wizard. Highly recommend Dr Choi for any periodontal work you need.

Fantastic experience: Great perio practice. Professional, efficient, and compassionate. Dr Choi is detailed when he evaluates your issue and when he does your procedure. He gives you what post procedure issues are emergencies, what to do, and what you most probably will experience. He goes over your meds and allergies to make your scripts right. Lacey, the nurse, is kind and gives you the support you need, what to do and what not to do. You also get it in writing. My youngest saw Dr Choi many years ago and also had a great experience. The admin staff are nice and they are organized. You know what you will pay for your procedure at your consult. If you need some perio work check out Dr Choi and I wish you success in a healthier mouth.

Fantastic experience: Mom has had a LOT of dental work done here, so I can confidently say that the staff and Dr. Choi are truly excellent professionals and people. They have gone out of their way to make my mother feel safe and heard, and the work done has been successful and effective. Parking in the back is a little cramped but it works. The office is really a renovated residence, so make sure you slow down the first time you visit or you might miss it.

Fantastic experience: For someone who is extremely anxious at the dentist, they did a terrific job with my root canal. The dental hygienist (I think her name was Andrea?) was very kind and thoughtful. She knew of my anxiety and checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing okay - I truly appreciate her help! I hope I don’t need to go back do another root canal but if I have to I would choose to go here.

Staff made me feel comfortable. They and Dr. Choi explained my needs and what treatments can be done to address them. Fantastic experience: The staff there were just wonderful. Had a great conversation with them and they made me feel very comfortable. I even met another Disney-head, which made me feel really good. I wasn’t that happy about the $250 hold but after an explanation I guess I understood why they have it in place. It would be nice to get the work done sooner than three months out, but I guess that’s what happens when the state only has one Dentist in the area that takes their insurance. No fault on the Dentistjust the state there.

Fantastic experience: Latham Periodontics receptionist staff, hygienist, x-ray technician, and Dr Choi were personable, patient, courteous when I came in for a scheduled cleaning and examination, updated my personal and medical information. I also, had an updated full mouth x-ray completed it was efficiently and professionally done. A most satisfied customer.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with all levels of the staff for a less than exciting root canal procedure. The front receptionist was very welcoming. When I was moved to the coveted and luxurious dental chair his assistant was very calming and friendly. Once we started the procedure I felt very little discomfort other than the reminder to myself of taking better care of my teeth. When checking out the receptionists were very engaging and polite.
