Negative experience: Hate to give a bad review because I have had a good experience with the actual dental work and with Dr Kim but be weary of the office staff. Every time I come in for an appointment I am told I owe a different balance than what was explained to me at my prior visit. After pushing back on this, magically the receptionist was able to make $400 disappear from my balance with no explanation. Then when I asked for invoices for all of my previous appointments, the receptionist delayed and delayed and did not provide them to me. I would not recommend this dental office. Update: After deciding not to return to this office for any further work I received a notification months later that I owe an additional balance and if not paid it will be sent to collections. I asked for an explanation of the balance and then the billing department said it was sent in error….again. I don’t understand how there can be so many billing errors with just one patient.

Negative experience: Every time I go to an appointment, they make me wait from 40 minutes to an hour. I don't know if the reception people don't coordinate schedules and on top of that, appointments, but it's very unpleasant to be waiting so long when I arrive very punctually. It's very unpleasant.

Everything was clean, they had drink refreshments at the front, and music playing that helped keep the time while waiting. The doctors were informative, took their time explaining everything, and made sure my son felt comfortable throughout the visit. Definitely a great place for teens and young adults!

The dentist there are superb not cutting corners and giving you the reality of your situation forward. Negative experience: First thing, they have scheduled my appointment with wrong doctor. They have rescheduled my appointment 3-4 times they moved me from Montgomery to Abington location(which is fine). Then i had a appointment for 3pm and doctor didn’t show up until 4pm. She was busy with surgery. If she had surgery then why she booked my appointment? Then Dr. Ariana forced us to do some teeth grinding in very unprofessional way. Upon declining that she said “you are doing stupidity” which was very rude. Overall she was very rude, not welcoming and unprofessional. I would never see her again. Not recommend anyone else too.

Fantastic experience: I really really really hate dentists and If I didn't break a tooth, I wouldn't have gone but I am glad I did. Despite finding out I have many other issues to deal with, I will go back because Dr. Kim was fantastic. She read my notes, put me at ease, explained everything that was happening. They had me stay later to work on my broken tooth. She gave me options. I absolutely will continue with the rest of the issues I have to fix and probably continue to go to clean my teeth etc.

Negative experience: They say they’re part of Smile Center Dentistry but after having multiple fillings done at Abington location & they always break off within 3-6 months or not filled completely; &/ color of fillings are remarkably different & not even close to matching my actual tooth color & they use cheap yellow colored materials that look horrible & break off weeks/months later. This last visit I had to go in over a weekend after a filling came out & half was stuck inside my gum & called for an emergency visit to Abington & they sent me here! Upon arrival I waited 3 hrs after my initial apt time only to be told it would cost me $100 to fix it because insurance only covers 1 filling per tooth per year & beibg this was a filling done in May & if I wanted insurance to cover it I’d have to go back to the Abington location with the original dentist who did the filling. When I spoke with the receptionist & they scheduled me at their “new Willow grove location” they must have know this but never mentioned anything of this nature to me & being they’re a “new location” they should be practicing the same ways but they don’t. In fact they even said they can’t grantee their pricing would be the same as Abington location & as they’re competing for new business. They’re not at all the same company when you’re not honoring any prices or repairs. You’ll be paying either way so it was a waste of my time & all they wanted was alot more money. I almost got the mouth guard they recommended until they left me there to think about it for another hour that’s when I got up & went to check out & asked the receptionist what was the wait time to be seen with the Abington dentist & it was a month out & scheduled me there; but after 2 weeks I said time to change & get a new dentist. Between all the bad fillings; which broke, weren’t filled well or broke every-time; then with the new place that makes up all their own rules & basically paying them out of pocket & then the time it takes for cavity fills &/or fixes; I do NOT recommend Smile Center Dentist. I had nothing but bad fillings that didn’t match & were much darker yellow then my original tooth color; & have pretty white teeth so after seeing how bad it looked & shotty of a full job with their cheap filling product it’s been an on-going situation all the time & the time you have to wait is ridiculous. The other problem with that is; after they did the cleaning & the amount of time it took to get the appointment you’d need a 2nd cleaning ; which per my insurance they’re supposed to give 2 cleanings per year but because they have fillings scheduled 6-9 months out & they need the teeth to be cleaned in order to fill them & told me the second cleaning wasn’t covered. Nope! I’m Done with this place.

Negative experience: I love the Abington office and have been happy with them for years. I moved and tried this Willow Grove office, because it was closer. I was told by their Abington office that I needed to have cavities repaired (2 years prior). I scheduled to have this work done with this Willow Grove office. The dentist complimented me on the care of my teeth and said I didn't have any plaque buildup and I take good care of my teeth. She said that she didn't want to repair my 2 cavities; she wanted to watch them. She even pointed out a crack in one of my other fillings (that I mentioned was causing discomfort). She said she was not comfortable fixing the cavities or the crack. She told me a long story about how other dentist may feel comfortable repairing them, but she did not. She offered to clean my teeth stating that she didn't want my visit to be a complete waste. I explained to her that I really needed the work done, because I wasn't going to have insurance soon and she still would not do the work. I did not let her clean my teeth, because she had already said how clean my teeth already were. I would not recommend this office or Dr. Yang. I came to get help with discomfort with my teeth, while I still had insurance. I expected the dentist to be a dentist and not a dental hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Went for my bi annual cleaning and exam. Dr. Kim is so kind and patient. She answered all my questions and was very thorough. I felt taken care of. She’s now my dentist of choice.

Negative experience: I had a broken filling and went to the clinic for help. After the examination, they told me that I needed to do a root canal, the cost was $2,400 with a crown or $1,200 without a crown. I refused and went to another clinic where they took pictures and said that a root canal was not necessary. In the end, they restored my filling for $250. Please do not deceive patients.
