Fantastic experience: Had a tooth capped because a chunk of the tooth came off. Luckily the crack line did not extend into the bone and the nerve was in tact. I was given too options originally and settled for the crown. Dr. Christine listened to me with no force decision. The preparation for the temp was done with no pain and precision. The crown was recently cemented. Came back perfect with no fuss.

Positive experience: I have been going here for many years! Just recently I had to have crowns on a couple of back teeth. I had ZERO pain from beginning to end (not even from needle prick after!). The temporary and permanent crowns fit perfectly each time. And an added bonus was the work wasn't as detailed as they thought so it cost LESS than quoted. My son now goes as well, and he's terrible with needles.. he is very pleased also!

Negative experience: I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the negligent dental treatment I received at (Dresher Family Dental) by Dr. Anthony Antonuccio, and subsequently at affiliated offices under the supervision of Dr. Dilip Dudhat, at (Advanced Dental Esthetics) including treatment by Dr. Christine Bakun at (Advanced Dental Smiles). In [2/7/2022], I began treatment with Dr. Anthony Antonuccio for one implant and two crowns, at a total out-of-pocket cost of approximately $10,000. After the procedure, I was unable to eat or chew on the right side of my mouth. My gum became inflamed, and all crown was placed approximately a quarter inch lower than my adjacent teeth. When I returned to Dr. Antonuccio, he stated he could not fix the issue and referred me to his practice’s owner, "Dr. Dilip Dudhat" at Advanced Dental Esthetics. Dr. Dudhat told me directly that he would not correct the existing problem unless I agreed to pay for an additional crown on another tooth (#31) — a procedure I did not originally need. Feeling pressured and left without a choice, I agreed. Worsened Condition After Unnecessary Crown: After the additional crown was placed, my bite became misaligned. I began biting the inside of my right cheek regularly, and developed constant burning sensations and pain in my lips and mouth. My lower lip became flat and began to fold inward, causing bleeding and persistent irritation. I shared photos and text messages with Dr. Dudhat, but he did not follow up or offer a solution. Eventually, he referred me to Dr. Christine Bakun, another dentist within his network. Treatment by Dr. Christine Bakun: At first, Dr. Bakun was reluctant to treat me. She later agreed, under the direction of Dr. Dudhat. During several visits, she attempted to correct the bite by adjusting individual crowns but did not replace all four lower crowns, which was necessary. She replaced only tooth #31, which caused damage to the upper tooth. That tooth eventually became infected, requiring a root canal, bone surgery, and ultimately extraction. Later, she removed another crown — #29, the implant crown — and accidentally removed the abutment along with it, which should have been left in place. At this point, it became clear to me that Dr. Bakun lacked the experience to handle my complex case, and she herself admitted she could no longer continue treatment. Referrals to Irrelevant Specialists: Over multiple visits, I was referred to an orthodontist and a periodontist, neither of whom found any need for intervention. It wasn’t until I saw the periodontist that I was told I actually needed a prosthodontist, a term I had never heard before. I relayed this information back to Dr. Bakun, who admitted that I need prosthodontist to correct the issue caused by Dr. Antonuccio & the owner of the practice Dr. Dilip Dudhat. After six visits, Dr. Bakun also declined further treatment and refused to reinstall the implant abutment she had removed. My Current Status: As of now, I am still suffering from severe pain, burning, and loss of oral function. I’ve been unable to chew or eat on the right side of my mouth for four years. I have a temporary plastic bridge and ongoing complications due to failed and improper treatment. I have spent over $17,000 so far and have been bounced around between three offices and multiple providers, none of whom have resolved the damage caused by their predecessors. Summary: Substandard treatment and failed implant/crowns by Dr. Anthony Antonuccio. Pressure to undergo unnecessary procedures by Dr. Dilip Dudhat. Inexperienced and ineffective care from Dr. Christine Bakun. Referrals to irrelevant specialists, adding further delay and expense. Ongoing pain, tissue damage, infection, and permanent dental complications Financial burden totaling over $17,000 with no resolution. Francois

Positive experience: Been going here for years. Many many visits. I only deduct a star because early on they would not work out a 2 week payment plan with me for my final crown ($700.00) after I had already paid 5-6 grand for a few crowns. Also had an issue where they failed to pull a tooth (numbing was also an issue during this visit). Had to go 3 days with a broken tooth, until they brought in Dr Rice, who numbed me real good and got it out easily. I will say I have not seen the dentist there that caused the failed extraction since that visit, over 3 years ago. Seems like new staff here recently. Evelyn and Dr Mustafa did an amazing job today on some of my smile. Much appreciated. I would recommend. Will likely upgrade to 5 stars in the future.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Dudhat and his team. The clinic is well-equipped and facilitated. The staff is very helpful, even if there's a language barrier. I had oral surgery to remove two inclined wisdom teeths that couldn’t be taken out without surgery. Dr. Dudhat did the extraction smoothly, and I felt no pain, no blooding, no discomfort during the surgery. Dr and team made me very comfortable during the extraction. Surgery was very smooth. Overall, my experience was very positive.

Positive experience: I recommend Advanced Dental Smiles for their professional approach and quality of care. Initially, I faced some challenges with receiving my CAT scans electronically. The first time, they provided the scans on a disk, and when I suggested an email option for convenience, it was not immediately adopted. On my second visit, they again provided a disk, and frustratingly, it was blank, which caused a significant delay. It was only on my third visit that they started sending CAT scans via email. Although it took some time, I appreciate that they eventually embraced this feedback. The cavities I got filled still hurt and are super sensitive now, so ill just be finding a new dentist :(

Negative experience: I have had it with this dentist office! I have had 2 times where I got a tooth pulled and a bone graft and they did not take and this time the sticking came out and now I haven’t socket and they couldn’t even get me in today and I called first thing in the morning. So if your looking for somewhere fast but prob gonna mess things up worse them go here but seriously this place has changed over the years and now I gotta go back bc of my dry socket. They better refund the so called bone graft for $400.

Positive experience: No issues with the staff, or the pressure in getting fluoride and their version of invisalign, but if you need to reschedule an appointment, know that you may not be able to book a cleaning for a MONTH. Apparently there are ZERO openings for a cleaning until mid-December. So really, it's a positive review because they are THAT popular and people love them!

Negative experience: I wanted to like this practice, I really did. I was a little suspect when Dr Dudhat was asking, after only my consultation and plan of care, if I was happy with his services and would I please leave a Yelp review. Odd, I thought but not a crime. I had a tricky case and was getting different professional opinions. Since his plan didn’t involve dental implants, only caps, I went with Dr Dudhat. After getting treated and returning again and again to both his office and his brother’s dental lab in Montgomeryville, it was clear this was not going to be easy. At one point, a tech asked me to sign something stating I was happy with the job. I said I can’t - I’m not happy with it. What I asked him to do, he did not; and what I asked him not to do, he did. I did not want super long teeth; I got super long teeth. I asked him not to buck the teeth or to have them be the shape of Candy corns. He did both. I wanted a natural white; I didn’t want what looked like a huge neon chicklet in my mouth. Instead, people laugh at my teeth in pictures. I kid you not. What was supposed to be an uplifting experience wound up to be anything but. After a couple more adjustments, they said there was nothing more they could do. He didn’t even get the shape of my bite right. My teeth curve naturally with the shape of my mouth but he had 7 teeth going straight across more or less, making a sharp turn around the sides of my mouth. There is so much more to say, including a pressure sales pitch from the front desk, about projects that were NEVER even discussed. Anyway, beware here. I wish I could go back. Hopefully this will save someone else from a big waste of their money.

Fantastic experience: My mom has Alzheimer’s and I was looking for a dentist that was gentle and kind, we found that with Advanced Dental Smiles. The entire staff was fantastic! I was able to fill out her forms online before we went and everyone was prepared for her, everyone was patient and treated her with warmth and kindness. They also allowed me to stay in the treatment room with her, which I was grateful for during these crazy Covid times! I would give six stars if I could, love this practice!

Fantastic experience: I’m a bit of a white knuckle patient when it comes to going to the dentist’s office. I know that preventive care by cleaning will help me avoid more intrusive (and costly) procedures. The hygienist is bar none the most thorough as well as caring for my comfort during the procedure. The dentist was also also nice and they were on the same page in relating to me specific tips about my dental care.

Positive experience: Decent experience. The dental hygienists were nice, but my cleaning didn’t really feel like a cleaning, meaning I walked out feeling like nothing was done. I also needed a consultation for a surgery. They told me it was urgent and should be done ASAP. The front desk said they would call me Monday, and I waited until Wednesday to call. Then they said they would call me back and never did. When they finally called me back, they said I had to wait until Monday again… no. Telling me it’s urgent and then having their “surgeon/specialist” be completely MIA… not a guy I’d want to work on my teeth!! The front desk then gaslighted me into telling me it was my fault. I recommend taking anything these people say with a grain of salt.

Fantastic experience: I needed a lot of dental work done due to a combination of health issues and not having dental insurance for 4 years. They've been great. I didn't feel judged for not having perfect teeth or not having regular dental check ups for a few years. My dental procedures have been about as pain free as they can get as well.

Turns out I needed a root canal retreatment on one tooth and a new root canal on another. The procedures and costs were explained to me throughly and I was able to have the work done next day! All the procedure are explained by the Dr and the financial part by the front desk, no hidden charges what they said is what you have to pay. All my questions were answered in a professional manner. Always answer the phone when I’ve called and they get me in even when I didn’t had an appointment. They make me feel that they care about me as a person and the must important thing.... They listen, the gave me options and they act. Super convenient schedule you don’t have to loose PTO over a dentist appointment and more over your kids do not have to loose school time. I highly recommend!! 10 stars because 5 doesn’t make justice to the kind of service that they provide.

The consultation was to the point, explained everything that needs to be done and was done in highly hygienic conditions. WOW i have never seen or heard of so advance medical equipments they have it and uses to make patients visit and procedures comfortable and less irritating as possible. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Dudhat and Dr. Tik after my original dentist told me I needed an emergency root canal after going in for a crown. They weren't able to get me on their schedule, so I reached out to Dr. Dudhat and Dr. Tik after being referred by a friend. They gave me an urgent appointment and after looking at my X-rays, taking new 3D scans, and completing a consult I was told I didn’t even need a root canal! Both Drs explained everything well and I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Drs. Dudhat and Tik fixed my cavity and made me a temp crown within an hour. As someone who is needle and drill phobic I didn’t feel a thing the whole time! They have all this cool technology that I’ve never seen before either. They scanned my teeth and made a digital 3D model on the computer which they used to help explain the procedure, then they also scanned the tooth to make my crown. None of that goopy impression stuff. Office is beautiful and COVID precautions are in place. I actually canceled all my future appointments with my original dentist and transferred care to Dr. Dudhat team! My boyfriend now wants to switch over to them too. Definitely recommend 5/5!

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly, so one gets a feeling of ease at entry. Dr. Rice and his assistants are very professional and accommodating and this creates a feeling of relaxation. This is a great practice which I wholeheartedly recommend.

Positive experience: I would definitely recommend this practice. I've been going here for a few years and they are always very accommodating with appointments. The hygienist are all super nice and really know what they are doing. Dr Rahman is the best! I haven't trusted a dentist like her in years.

Fantastic experience: Dr. John Kum took a molar out today. I did not notice when he did it. He also put an implant on and I did not feel any pain. Dr. Kum was explaining every step and he was very kind. He called me later at night to make sure I was feeling well. I recommend Dr. Kum 100% The assistant was very nice too and the receptionists very friendly. I totally recommend Advanced Dental Smile. I made a right choice choosing this place for my implants. Fantastic experience: I was having tooth pain for a couple days. I called on a Saturday morning and they were able to fit me in right away that same morning. When I got there they did an examine and then told me my options. Before performing any procedures they told me the cost after insurance coverage, which I really appreciated. Great communication and dental skills. I’m very happy with my experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: A wonderful review for Advanced Dental Smiles! I have so much anxiety about my tooth it had been 6 years of problems with cap cross Root canals,Re root canals at different dental practices. I consulted with Dr Rice after cleaning & Xrays and he gave me some options to try and solve my problem. I was really optimistic about getting old tooth pulled and bone graft and implant after learning he is involved in dental education.He teaches as attending faculty at Einstein Medical Center & Philadelphia VA Hospital. DR Rice explained what he was doing during procedure and was encouraging me that everything working out great. He showed me xrays when procedure was done with explanation !
