Fantastic experience: My experience with Magnolia Family Dental and Orthodontics has been a positive one thus far. From scheduling my children’s dental cleanings and care, to an emergency visit for myself, Magnolia Family Dental have been tremendously accommodating. The front desk staff are absolute professionals, and my attending Dentist Dr.Adams was absolutely amazing with the dental care, and advice she provided. Thankyou again !

Negative experience: Terrible cleaning and when addressed, they would prefer you go elsewhere…. To top it off, they agreed to not charge my insurance so that I can get a cleaning somewhere else (instead of correcting) but then sent me a bill! Unbelievable

Negative experience: The bridge they made fell out. Dr. Adams said a new bridge was required at a cost of $2600 since Aetna refused coverage because procedure was under 5 yrs. She said no enhancement was available so I could use the original bridge. Not true. Front desk was dismissive and did not follow through with a call back. Magnolia Family Dental do not back their product/service.

Negative experience: We have been loyal patients at Magnolia Family Dental on FM 1488 for years and, until today, had never had a single complaint. Unfortunately, one bad experience is understandable. What isn’t understandable is how they chose to handle it. My family of four had routine six month cleaning appointments as the very first patients of the day. Despite that, the office appeared to have only one dental hygienist for every patient. It took over two hours for four routine cleanings, which should have been a simple appointment. The cleanings themselves were unbelievably rushed. I have never experienced anything like it. I left with my teeth feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. My husband said it was one of the worst cleanings he has ever had, and I completely agreed. It was hurried, ineffective, and honestly felt like we were being rushed through an assembly line. Because we’ve been loyal patients for years, I thought it was only fair to bring my concerns to the office privately and give them the opportunity to make it right. I made it clear that we had always loved this office and had never complained before. I wasn’t asking for a refund or anything unreasonable. I simply asked if our cleanings could be redone. The office manager told me she would speak with the doctor and call me back. When she did, I was stunned. Instead of standing behind the quality of their work or offering to fix the problem, she told me they simply would not bill our insurance so we could go somewhere else for our cleanings. Read that again. After years of being loyal patients, their solution to one legitimate complaint was essentially, “We’d rather lose you than make it right.” That response was far more disappointing than the rushed cleaning itself. Every business has an off day. What separates a great business from a mediocre one is how they respond when a loyal customer brings a concern to their attention. Magnolia Family Dental had every opportunity to earn even more respect by correcting the situation. Instead, they chose to send us elsewhere. They made the decision for us. We will gladly take our business, and our insurance benefits, to a dental office that values long term patients and stands behind the care they provide.

Negative experience: I felt a shame and embarrassed on all the dental work I need at age 70 . I left your office scared of loosing my teeth and cried all way home . I can’t afford 10 thousand by myself and insurance for my work is waiting period and now I can’t sleep at night worrying what I will do . I felt you sending me to other dentist to look at my teeth instead of offering to do a tooth at time but I didn’t feel that from you . It’s like you didn’t give me an alternative . My teeth were deep cleaned in 2024 and it’s like 2 years my teeth rotted and you never said let’s clean your teeth now and work but no you sending me to see endodontics only to do first .

Fantastic experience: After moving from a small town to the Magnolia area, I struggled to find a dentist that felt like the right fit. Several offices I visited seemed much more focused on cosmetic procedures than simply providing great dental care. A family member recommended this office, and I am so glad they did. From my very first visit, it reminded me of the small town dentist I had always loved. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming, and efficient, and I never feel rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatments. If you’re looking for honest, high quality dental care with a friendly, hometown feel, I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough, friendly, and timely service! They also do not have shady practices of adding unnecessary services that cost extra above what my insurance covers. I appreciate that because for some reason it has been difficult to find a dental clinic who does not add additional out of pocket charges to basic cleanings in this area.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience i have ever had at a dentist in my life I had to have my tooth removed and as a 39 yo lady I'd admit I was scared only time I have ever had a tooth removed I was put to sleep so I didn't really know what to expect being wide awake but dr.adams and team helped me stay calm and relaxed throughout the process and office management was also great and informative these people are exceptional at what they do and I will not only recommend you try them out but they now have a long time customer in me

Fantastic experience: I just moved to Texas and needed to see a dentist. My previous employment was veing a sirector of a dental office. This group is exceptional! They took their time with me. Treatment plan was set up and delivered quickly. I felt like I was in very capable hand both by my dentist and hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Adam’s was thorough and when I had pain even after the local anesthetic she stopped and rescheduled me for another day after I finished a course of antibiotics. She made sure I had pain relief all throughout treatment. I usually don’t get pain meds but this abscess was in a molar and was agonizing. She took care of it and it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. Good after care and instructions. Checked to ensure I was not in pain all throughout treatment. I will go back.

Negative experience: I have been coming here for 4 years, but the front desk is so rude and incompetent I can't keep coming here. It is beyond disappointing when your show up to an appointment and there is ALWAYS a problem. I'm confused how they can't address it before you show up. Also, I had a crown put in a year ago and it fell out... I loved the first few dentist here, but it is always someone new and you never know the quality you are getting. It is such a pain to find a new dentist, but I can't keep dealing with the front desk and office manager.

Dr Lena Adams is so incredibly kind, as are their hygienists who seem to just want the best for their patients. The dentist is never anyone's favorite place but this office is a good one!

Fantastic experience: Incredibly kind and patient staff! Be a good patient though. Practice holding your tongue in place to block your esophagus. Try your best to breath normally out of your nose. Count how many seconds you're breathing in, holding, and breathing out. 2025.07.08 It's always a pleasure to be here! The waiting room is kept clean and they play soothing music while you wait. The staff is always incredibly kind and patient with me! I got some brushing tips too! I'll do my best to rotate my jaw from left to right when trying to reach my upper and lower wisdom teeth! 2025.10.07 I had the pleasure of visiting with Lorena, Natalie, Clarissa, and Dr. Ahmida. They always treat me with kindness and respect! I done fergert to schedule a tooth extraction before my orthodontic appointment but they were understanding and helpful about it. Plus, I've received a text notification about my upcoming exam and cleaning on 10/10/25! Hopefully when that appointment comes around I'll be more assertive and less scared:) 2026.03.03 I had the pleasure of seeing my buddies! And got a plan of action for extracting 5 and 12 my premolars! For some reason, child me thought, I wasn't worth the money spent, or perhaps was worried about food scarcity and bills growing up. Now, adult me, has to deal with an overbite correction and losing even more teeth! If a child happens to be reading this, please, just let someone, anyone know, "Hey, I get worried about taking up XYZ." The worst thing they could do, is end your life, with that in mind, practice taking out the balance of your predator. If you see a swing coming, duck and sweep them off their feet! If you happen to have no body mass, blind them, they didn't deserve to see your beauty anyway! Oof, maybe that was unsolicited advice, but honestly, I wish someone would have given it to me a very long time ago. Stay safe out there! You're doing great! <3

Fantastic experience: You always know when you walk into a place whether you feel comfortable or not. Haley, the receptionist, did make me feel very comfortable. I also noticed they were playing my music which helps me relax. The dental team worked so well together. Very professional but made me feel like we were all friends. I can’t wait until my next appointment!!

Positive experience: I really enjoyed my dentist Dr Evan’s and my hygienist Rocio! They were both attentive to my concerns and my teeth feel great. My only complaint would be the timing; I always spend a lot of time sitting and waiting once I’m in the chair and they need to fix that issue. Other than that, everyone was friendly and I’m a happy patient.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t treat me with high blood pressure related to anxiety even though I take medication, showed them recent normal readings and have had recent work done at my previous dentist. Hygienist said she wouldn’t even clean my teeth with clearance from my doctor if my BP was high. If this is your issue, don’t bother to go. It should be stated on their forms and website. Lots of people have medical anxiety. I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Our insurance changed and our current dentist was now out of network but luckily Magnolia Family Dental was! My daughters went first and had great experiences with the entire staff. Now it was my turn and my experience was also great! The facility is state of the art with the most modern equipment and the entire staff was wonderful and friendly. My hygienist was Madison who was as good of a hygienist as I’ve ever had! Very sweet, knowledgeable and gentle! And Dr. Adam’s was excellent! She was very welcoming, personable and right away put me at ease. It’s such a good feeling finding a dentist like this with such a professional and caring staff. Dr. Adam’s and company has four new and very happy patients.

Negative experience: I felt like I was not taken care of. I go get my teeth cleaned every 3 months. A new dentist came in and told me I needed 6 fillings and a crown. Wow! I thought I had been going to the dentist but I guess not. Not sure what to think.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The front desk was very nice when scheduling and the hygienist, Andrea was great with my daughter. She has von willebrand disease which makes her bleed easily and Andrea was very patient and gentle, but still did an awesome evaluation and cleaning. She hadn't had her teeth cleaned in a few years. Andrea also assured us she was not in need of a deep cleaning as she was told at another clinic. She gave great follow-up recommendations also that were very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: If you're looking to get your teeth cleaned in the Magnolia area this is the place to go! Andrea Crowe is the best dental hygienist around by far. Andrea has been cleaning my teeth and my families' teeth for over 20 years and has always made it her priority to give her best at what she does. Always informative about the latest technology and treatments. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: My child has braces and we have seen 7 orthodontist come and go throughout her 2+ years of treatment! Every time I’m there I ask to find out what the next step is and they have to explain things over again. Also, when the Dr tells the assistant the plan, I notice that it is not explained very well and there is no clarification from the assistant and then mistakes are made and extra work has to be done or poor work done over. It’s very nerve-wracking and I am not confident in their work. But what do I know…I didn’t go to dental school. I wish the communication was better between the Dr and the assistant as well as between me and the Dr. The fact that there have been so many Dr changes make me feel treatment has not gone as smoothly as it could. I will not be bringing any other of my children for orthodontic treatment. Our few experiences with the dental side of the office has been great!
