Fantastic experience: I had to come for a temporary crown that had fallen off from my front tooth. I was nervous and came in on a Saturday morning to get it fixed. Ceasar was gentle, amazing and made some modifications. When he was done I felt more confident with my temporary crown. Thank you Ceasar!!

Fantastic experience: Best place to geet your teeth done in conroe. I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled today and it went very well and painless too only a slight bit of pressure but the experience was awesome.

Fantastic experience: We truly love Dr. Cate! After visiting a couple of dentists for second and third opinions, we decided to take my 92-year-old father to see him. It was the best decision we could have made. Dr. Cate is incredibly compassionate, kind, and an excellent listener. My father needed extensive dental work, including four extractions, and Dr. Cate treated him with such patience and gentleness. He spoke softly, checked on him throughout the procedure, and explained every step and movement, which made my father feel comfortable and at ease. His dental assistant, Kuiarha, was equally kind and caring. She laughed and joked with my dad to help ease his anxiety, making the entire experience much less stressful. We are so grateful for the exceptional care and genuine compassion they both showed. I highly recommend Dr. Cate and his wonderful team to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients.

Fantastic experience: I had an infected tooth, and a friend referred me to Lake Conroe Dentistry. Dr. Rivera was amazing. I do not like going to dentists. They inflict physical pain and financial pain. LOL. His chairside manner is so confident and makes you feel at ease. He took time to listen and came up with a treatment plan. Dr. Rivera really cares about his patients. The Staff are fantastic and so friendly. Highly recommend this Dentist office.

Negative experience: I chose this place because of the good reviews, but they were incredibly unprofessional. My appointment was at 10:30 am, but I arrived at 10:00 am as a new patient. They checked me in, but other people started arriving after me and even called them before me. At 10:45 am, they finally called me and started taking my X-rays. Then, they moved me to the room, but I was there for 15 minutes and no one showed up. The doctor came and asked if someone had already arrived, and I told him no. He said they would come after me and that everything was okay. Then, another woman came to check my gums, and they left me there. I waited for 25 minutes for someone to come and tell me what was going on, but most of the people had already left. I was still there when I started walking out and saw the doctor and told him “I’m leaving I had Been waiting for so long and nobody came” The doctor looked at me and said, “Go to the front desk.” He never apologized for letting me wait there. I was there 2 hours for literally nothing just my X-Rays

Negative experience: The problem I had was, when your office does services, they need to tell the patient what is covered and not covered before they do the work. I was originally told before I signed up with Aetna that they would pay $2500, but the day came where I was told that Aetna was only going to pay just $1000 and even though I signed the contract, at that time, I was lead to believe the $2349 was going to be paid by Aetna, not me. Very, very disappointed in this experience. I will get in touch with the Government and lodge a complaint about Aetna.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rivera and his staff are hands down the best dental office in Conroe! They are always so kind and welcoming from the moment we walk in to the minute we leave. Negative experience: When I first called to ask questions, Loren was kind and helpful, answering all of my questions with patience. When I went for my visit, the woman who did my x-rays was also kind. This is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. I watched another receptionist very openly tell a customer all the things she was doing to make sure he would be getting taken care of financially because she knew him personally. My experience with Dr. Javed was horrible. She came in, sat down, asked what I did for a living, but not as if she was interested more like she was probing for my income (I could be wrong but my gut felt the red flag). She went over my x-rays and dumped information very quickly on me giving me no time to process or ask the right questions. She told me all these things that were wrong and made it seem very urgent, gum disease, root canals, and just very aggressive treatment. When I had no words, she just stared at me and said she knew it was a lot to process but was rushing me into treatment. When I told her that I would not be able to afford all of that right now she said they could work with me. When Loren came to explain the breakdown, there was 4 pages of charges (20k worth of work) and I asked what all was absolutely necessary and she said everything but the insurance didn't cover everything. I asked why the insurance wouldn't cover things that are necessary and she looked at me like she didn't expect someone to ask an intelligent question. I was afraid that my mouth was falling apart and almost just listened to them but thankfully my mom doesn't trust so easily and recommended I get a second opinion. Thankfully I did. I am waiting to get my dental work done at The Dental Centre on 3083 by Dr. Richards who has been around for a very long time, has a very busy schedule but treated me with so much patience and care. When I shared my experience with Dr. Javed, he handled the information with integrity and made no negative comments. He took his time with me and made sure all of my questions were answered. It's obvious that his heart is in what he does. Turns out I don't need all of what Dr. Javed said and even if I did and it was more expensive, I would still come here. I value integrity and getting kindness and patience on top of that is priceless. These are the facts of my experience. I hope they help you make an informed decision.

He will spend however long I need to discuss and explain procedures, options and reasonings why something may or may not need to be done. I trust his judgement and I am grateful to have such a caring dentist. The staff have always been excellent as well, they’ve made time to discuss payment options, explain things and what to expect. Listen up because this is THE ONE! ✨ If you’re like me and the mere thought of the dentist makes you want to bolt, PLEASE do yourself a favor and see Dr. Cate, Kylee, and Mindy. I’m not kidding when I say they are the absolute Dream Team. I’ve spent over $$,$$$ on my teeth over the years (so I’ve seen it all), and this was hands down the BEST experience I have ever had. Period. They are so welcoming, gentle, and have the kindest bedside manner you could ask for. They genuinely care, and you can feel it the second you walk in. Fantastic experience: I came here for an emergency extraction as a walk in and they made me feel like a priority to them front the start. Thanks to the initiative from the lady at front desk I was able to get in and out within a couple of hours. The doctors and personnel treated me with great care and attention. I would recommend anyone to come here for any dental care they need!

Negative experience: Went in for a simple cleaning and was upsold at every step of the process. A visit that was covered 100% by insurance turned into a series of procedures that would cost me almost $3000.00, (not counting what insurance pays). When I informed them I wasn’t prepared to spend that much money today, they wouldn’t even clean my teeth. Complete waste of time.

Fantastic experience: The staff are top tier. I went in SCARED for my appointment but everyone from the front desk to the Dentist made me feel more comfortable. My hygienist Kylie was extremely gentle and walked me through everything she was doing as she did it while also explaining why, she gets a 20/10!

Fantastic experience: After only living in Conroe less than 2 months I found myself in emergency dental situation needing a root canal. I called Lake Conroe Dentistry and they were able to get me in the very next morning. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone. I am terrified of the dentist and Dr. Kiren Javed and her DA’s made a me feel comfortable and put my anxiety at ease. The whole staff are friendly from the time you check in to the time you check out.

Negative experience: I was in the chair for 3 hours. The procedure changed 3 times. They can’t make up their minds what they want to do other than get more money. I already have anxiety about dentists then they just want me to pay more money for stuff that doesn’t need to be done.

Fantastic experience: My experience was nothing short of life changing. After years of seeing different dentists to get my smile back I finally was able to have it completed here with Dr. Cate. He was so gentle and patient with me and it really helped keep myself calm. I have had horrible experiences in other offices so I was so appreciative of his gentle nature. Chris was great with preparing me and working on my crowns and partial. Mindy at the front desk was always welcoming and in a great mood. I will recommend them to everyone I can! Lorin got me in for an emergency appointment on a saturday!! She was so kind on the phone and in the office. She made sure to inform me of any cost outside of my insurance. They even worked with me on the cost to help make the procedure happen today because I was in so much pain. Dr Rivera saw me and did everything to help make me comfortable through the exam and procedure. I have a ton of anxiety going to the dentist and the staff was so patient and understanding with me. All of the staff who were involved in my treatment were absolutely wonderful!!

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at Lake Conroe Dentistry. I went in hoping for help with my teeth and a basic cleaning, but instead they only took a few pictures and charged me $109 for it. No cleaning, no real care, nothing helpful. Then they told me I “needed an implant” even though I still have plenty of tooth left — which felt completely unnecessary. After that, they handed me a list of prices that were absolutely outrageous. As someone with a low income, I was shocked. It felt like they cared more about money than actually helping people. If you’re looking for honest, affordable dental care, I would not recommend this place. I left feeling discouraged, taken advantage of, and still in need of help. BEWARE!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cate was really amazing helping me through the process of prepping for my root canal and handling the crown afterword. He was very detailed and thorough, and his assistant Esther was very friendly and helped with my nerves a lot. Thank you both so much for your help, because my mouth was in serious pain when I first came in and I feel so much better now!

They all seem to really care about their patients and their overall health. They have no judgment and are very professional and personable at the same time. Negative experience: ​"Be prepared for unexpected charges on the day of surgery. This office required upfront payment for our child's wisdom teeth extraction but did not transparently communicate potential extra fees. We were hit with an unexpected $400 charge because the Smile Generation surgeon reportedly only reviews the chart on the day of the procedure. Lack of clear communication regarding billing and potential additional costs is a poor business practice."

Fantastic experience: Headline: Great Office... Go there! After >35 years of not going to dentists I have recently ran into some bad luck with a couple molars possibly due to a cancer therapy I am on. I didn't leave a review in June when Dr. Rivera and the team helped me out but it was excellent care when I needed it most. This time I managed to crack another molar so I knew where to go... Calling the front staff and outlining my issue they got me in the same day assuring me the pain will be taken care of... not much later that day, Dr.Rivera and Chris saw me. From X-Rays to diagnosis and path forward they were awesome. Dr. Rivera is an excellent engaging dentist who demonstrates that he cares. Making sure he understood the background and examined the issue, he clearly presented the options for treatment and his recommended path forward. Prepping me for a root canal and crown was a painless process, Chris fitted me a perfectly fit temp crown and I was out the door less than 90 minutes later (pain free). Before I left, the front staff was also part of the success as they found me an available endodontist the very next day at their sister office in Spring Klein! Day2: Dr. Ali Ehsan is a quiet consummate professional. An excellent very experienced endodontist, not chatty ( I was not there for that) He focused on my comfort while performing a perfect root canal to save my tooth. He did! A few days later I returned to Lake Conroe Dentistry to have my permanent crown installed. Ester took care of the prep, getting the temp one off and prepping the site and perfectly fitting the new crown with Dr Rivera doing the install. Do I love going to dentists? NO!! BUT not only would I go to Lake Conroe Dentistry for unplanned issues, I plan on seeing them regularly going forward. The whole team at Lake Conroe and Spring Klein (Smile offices) were great. The care is top notch and demonstratable. Thankyou

Negative experience: Dr Rivera is compassionate and very good. What is not compassionate at all is their service charges. My husband and I were their patients until we realized that we were being deliberately overcharged. Be very careful because all they care is for their money and offer ridiculous payment plans thru a nonsense dental credit card. Their endodoncist is very unprofessional and rude, I will never forget how he treated me, to the point of yelling at me to tell me that he was going to re-schedule his services until my anxiety - as a result of his treatment & rude tone of voice (very common), was under control. No, I don't recommend them at all, unless they start carrying more for their patients' well being and not their pockets.

Fantastic experience: This is my first visit and I have to say this is the BEST DENTIST OFFICE, EVER! From the very beginning the staff was incredibly kind and amazingly wonderful! First, there was Ester! She was supportive through my entire visit! Ashlee, the Hygienist with the touch of humility. She explained everything every step of the way! And last my DENTIST, Dr. J! I cannot say enough about how she does whatever possible to make sure her patient is comfortable and feeling no pain. Not ti mention they got me in within 3 days of me calling, and I am a new patient! I got EVERYTHING done the same day! Fantastic experience: If there was a way to rate Lake Conroe Dentistry 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat! From the moment I first called them, the entire staff has gone above and beyond for me. Helping me fix my insurance issues(which included helping me find a better plan at a better rate) and making sure I got the exact care I needed at an affordable price. My personal dentist, Dr. Rivera is nothing short of an artist, for the longest time I was ashamed to smile due to issues with my teeth(A massive cavity behind my front teeth, causing a big black spot) and after only a couple visits with Dr. Rivera I have the biggest smile on my face! Look, no one is excited to go to the dentist, we all know this but I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that they have a patient for life with me! Thank you Dr. Rivera!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave you are made to feel valued and appreciated. Every person who works in the office treated me so kindly. The staff all have an Amazing Customer service mind set. No one likes going to the dentist and I for one associate dentist with pain. However I never felt so cared for as I am when I go to Lake Conroe Dentistry. If you are looking for a caring dentist who is honest, patient and cares about his patients then Dr Rivera is the dentist for you.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience with Dr. Cate, all of the assistants and office staff. I needed crowns and found Dr. Cate to be gentle, explained everything and answered every question. Took time to ensure the crowns were perfect. One day crowns are a big plus. Highly recommend Dr. Cate and staff.

Fantastic experience: I really like Lake Conroe Dentistry and I drive a long way to get there. Everyone there is very nice and I feel like they really care about me and my teeth. Fantastic experience: Doctor Rivera and his team worked with me on pricing and did a excellent job .I had 3 teeth extracted didnt feel a thing and the temporary partial they made for me fit like a glove .Doctor Rivera is very good with communicating what needs ro be done and why and makes the time to go thru everything.The staff is amazing happy focused and care about there patients.I was happy to sit in the chair for the procedures and thats strange because no one is happy to go to the dentist . Totally awesome experience

Negative experience: My appointment was at 10 for a cleaning. Got in an hour later. Told me I needed all kinds of work done to the tune of 850.00 with insurance. Never had any problems with my teeth and to top it off they didn't even clean my teeth. Said it was not worth it. Won't be back!

Negative experience: Front desk lady is very rude and condescending. She was not helpful at all. She did not greet me when there was no one there and when I informed her I had a appointment (I did receive a confirmation email) she smirked and said yes we can’t see you today because you are new patient. .She is not nice! Please hire someone nicer!

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but Lake Conroe Dentistry has earned every bit of this one. My experience was a frustrating, disorganized mess from start to finish. They scheduled me for multiple appointments- that I wasn't even in Texas for, only to completely drop the ball on what I was actually there for -- my retainers. Not only did I never receive the retainers, but they had the audacity to charge me for them anyway. When I brought it up, I was met with zero accountability and a front desk staff that seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than helping patients. Speaking of the front desk, the staff is, frankly, terrible. Disorganized, rude, and completely unprofessional. I was cut off multiple times, given conflicting information, and treated like an inconvenience for asking about services I had already paid for. Save yourself the headache, there are far better, more competent practices out there. Lake Conroe Dentistry is a textbook example of how not to run a healthcare office.

Negative experience: Will never go back! Not only is the front desk rude and no help whatsoever. They told me my price of treatment over the phone and go in and it’s $100 more than I was told. Come to find out they didn’t even send my insurance paperwork with regarding the procedure prior (even though they said they did but my insurance has nothing from them) so that I had to pay the full amount. What a scam!! My so-called “deep cleaning”. Now they won’t answer my calls. I’ve never had a worse experience with a dental office

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing dental office. I came in for an emergency caused by a chipped molar. The front office was kind and helpful getting me an appointment for the next morning. This office has state of the art equipment, the likes of which I've never seen before. The dentists and technicians provided excellent care. I couldn't be more satisfied and grateful. I live in North Dakota but I'm still considering making Lake Conroe Dentistry my family dentist. Thank you .

Positive experience: I was disappointed at first because I showed up for my appointment and it had been cancelled. I was not notified. However, Dr Rivera offered to take me as a patient and go ahead and do the procedure right then instead of making me reschedule. He was wonderful. He calmed my anxiety and fixed my crown with no pain. I highly recommend Dr Rivera.

Fantastic experience: As someone who suffers from serious osteoporosis and a family history of poor teeth, I was very impressed with the great reviews of Dr. Samuel Rivera. I made an appointment and descibed my struggle to keep my teeth. He listened sympathetically and vowed to support me, and we made a plan. A week later, I had my teeth cleaned, several teeth filled, and two teeth crowned, all on the same day! He and his staff made me feel so comfortable and confident that the time passed quickly. I am so happy with the result, and will highly recommend Lake Conroe Dentistry and Dr. Rivera to anyone looking for a very skilled and caring dentist.
