Negative experience: My experience with Gentle Dental Care started off well, which makes the ending even more disappointing. Scheduling my appointment was easy, and the representative I spoke with was friendly, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, things went downhill as my appointment approached. I had a very difficult time reaching the office to confirm my appointment date and time. Since I couldn’t get anyone on the phone, I arrived at what I believed was my scheduled appointment time. I arrived around 8:20 a.m. and noticed an employee walking into the office. Google Maps listed the office as opening at 8:30 a.m., so I waited. At 8:30, the doors were still locked. About 10 minutes later, three women who appeared to be employees walked up to the entrance. I asked if they were open, and one of them told me they didn’t open until 9:00 a.m. I politely mentioned that Google Maps showed their opening time as 8:30 a.m. and suggested they might want to update it so other patients wouldn’t be confused. She responded that it couldn’t be changed. When I explained that business hours on Google can, in fact, be updated, she gave me a look of disdain and replied, “I’m not going to argue with you,” before walking inside. That interaction told me everything I needed to know about how customers are treated when a concern is raised. Whether the posted hours were accurate or not, a simple apology or willingness to help would have gone a long way. I left, canceled my appointment, and decided to take my business elsewhere. I value professionalism and respectful customer service just as much as quality dental care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Gentle Dental Care.

We take your concerns regarding communication, our posted hours, and the interaction you had with our staff very seriously.
Regardless of the circumstances, you should always feel welcomed and treated with courtesy when you contact or visit our office. I’m sorry that we did not provide that experience.

Fantastic experience: I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, but Gentle Dental Care lived up to their name! The staff was very welcoming and told jokes. They were also very efficient with their time. They were able to get me in the chair 5 minutes before the technical start of my appointment, I was out 20 minutes later having had a full check up and cleaning! Great job!

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming here for years. My children were scared of dentist and the noises of the equipment they both have ADHD and one of them is autistic the staff here is so patient and kind. They worked with them throughout the years to get them comfortable and feeling safe to the point that they are excited to come to the dentist. They always educate the children on the importance of teeth hygiene. We love the staff here.

Fantastic experience: Bedside mannerism is very important omg the dentist performed not only excellent service but I came in with a missing front tooth that needed a bridge with an extraction he did an amazing job with numbing me he asked a million times if I was ok that made me so comfortable he made sure the whole time I was comfortable I felt no paid there or at home not even the next day the staff was very communicative and polite I would recommend them to anyone and this is coming from a lady that is terrified of the dentist welp not anymore

Fantastic experience: I've had some terrible experiences with dentists in the past, so I have some serious anxiety when I go to the dentist...especially a new one. My visit to Gentle Dental was outstanding. The staff was courteous and efficient and they helped to keep me relaxed while I had my checkup and cleaning. (Not an easy task) Definitely worth a shout out!

Negative experience: I’ve always liked going to the dentist and usually feel comfortable, but my recent appointment here was honestly a horrible experience for me. The doctor was very nice, but I only saw him for about five minutes. The rest of the appointment was handled by a young lady who seemed like she might have been training, along with another staff member who wasn’t very helpful. She was sweet, but I wish someone had told me ahead of time or at least asked if I was okay with having someone new work on me. I became so overwhelmed and uncomfortable while they were working on me that I actually started crying in the chair. I didn’t feel reassured or checked on, and the cleaning didn’t feel thorough. Every other dentist I’ve been to takes more time, and I usually leave feeling much cleaner and more taken care of. Jennifer at the front desk was polite when I checked out, but unfortunately that was the only part of the visit that felt normal. I left the office so anxious that I sat in my car and cried again. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning.

Negative experience: Make sure you get a receipt. The price has changed every time from what they originally stated. Months later, out of the blue, they are claiming I still owe them more. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were making honest mistakes but this has gotten ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I am always pleased with the Dentist and the care I receive. My biggest concern are the Tori bones in my lower mouth. Xray's are always painful and the reason I hate to go for my cleanings. Today was the exception. Lisa was able to efficiently and pain-free x-ray my mouth. She is a 10++!

Negative experience: The doctor and staff here were great! The office itself was not very clean. It had a distinctive mildew smell. I would not return as I am really picky about a clean office. The equipment was also very dated.

Fantastic experience: I had a concern from my first visit and it was taken care of. Today I went in to replace an old crown and was very pleased with all that was done. I was taken care of and treated great. Dr Strickland and his asst, Rachel were both very kind and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the work done. Will definitely keep going. Jennifer, the girl at the front desk is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had dental office anxiety my entire life. Add sensitive teeth and that’s a bad combination. Not here! Best cleaning experience I’ve ever had! Fantastic experience: I haven't been to a dentist in years due to having no insurance. My molar broke last night and they got me in today. The dr and dental hygienist were great and so was the receptionist. All 3 welcomed me in and got my tooth fixed right away. I will definitely recommend this place. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Gentle Dental Care is life changing. Everyone at both locations have been incredibly kind and compassionate and have worked to create a treatment plan that works for me. They've fit me in on very full workdays for urgent visits, and have always cared how I feel during the appointments. I have never waited very long for appointments either. Five stars!

Juan is the best tech and the dentist doesn't try to scare you into having more work done. I was very happy and will go back to them again!!

Fantastic experience: I am new to the Montgomery area and I can’t say enough about this office. Four of my children got exams and teeth cleaning and they were friendly and professional. The dentist is phenomenal! Hy far, the best I have experienced. The front office woman was so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend them for your children!
