Fantastic experience: Well I tell ya I am absolutely scared, terrified, frightened whatever you wanna call it of a dentist. This doctor made me feel very very welcomed. The staff was unkind and I was not nervous after talking to him at all. He adjusted something for me and it was a world of difference. I recommend this place in this doctor every day if I could, if you’re going somewhere else you’re going to the wrong place.

Fantastic experience: Dr Gardner went far beyond the call of duty for me. I went to his office after previously seeing a dentist that caused me a great deal of pain with novacain injections. It is absolutely amazing the difference of Dr Gardner's novacain injections. Although I'm still quite nervous and require gas most times, this Dr. has never once caused pain. I am finished searching for dentists as they simply can't get better than Dr. Gardner. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I never write testimonials about recieved medical services but Dr. Gardner is worth it. Best dentist ever.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center for the past 4 years for dental work and quarterly cleaning. Recently I needed to have an upper OLD crown replaced due to a cavity underneath it. The pre-procedure shot I received to block pain was incredible! Not only was it fast acting, but there was not the usual numbness in my face and nose! It was so effective that I had no stress/tenseness that comes from the drilling and other procedures - I was able to relax . . . Dr. Leiker and his assistant made the whole process - start to finish - one that outshines all other experiences I've had over my lifetime. The other feature of the shot was that when it started to wear off, there was none of the irritating numbness tingling in my face, nose, or lips ! If you're looking for a state of the art Dental office where the Doctors, Dental Techs, and Staff treat you like family and deliver the best Dental service you will ever receive - look no further than the Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center!

Negative experience: I wouldn't go back here if they paid for my dental work. Just another bull money making dental chop shop. Booked a cleaning that's all. They went thru their dog and pony show then came with a bunch of things I didn't want done. I asked just to get my cleaning done and they told me they couldn't unless I did the recommended work. I politely asked them to take off my stuff and left. Went to other dentists to record what they told me I needed and both debunked it. Save your time and money.

Dr Gardner and his staff have exceeded all expectations! They are compassionate, reviewed ALL the details with me and put a plan in place to take care of my dental Issues. Fantastic experience: all staff were very patient with my mobility issues took several try's to schedule an extraction for the time of day that is best for me but the young lady just kept looking for options with out getting irritated i did not feel pressed for any treatments i did not want after trying numerous dental facilities in recent years this is the only one where i actually felt cared for ( not a number to be rushed past )

Negative experience: I got a bill sent to collections after a service that was done in 9/2024. I was not informed I owed anything until December 22,2025… the bill got sent to collections already. I called to talk to someone and was supposed to get a call back and no one called me. Quick to send the bill to collections (not to insurance company apparently) but not quick to explain what happened and why the service went form $915 to me owing an additional $436 out of no where that insurance should’ve covered. I was told the service was only $900ish so what happened between 9/2024 and 1/2026 that now I owe more money when I paid what I had to? No clue. Super disappointed because I liked them, but it seems like a money hungry thing. Uhh.

Fantastic experience: Montgomery comprehensive is simply that, comprehensive. I was impressed from moment one with booking, but my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Office is beautiful. They gave me an in depth tour the very first time I came in, explaining all they do, showing their facility and introducing me to plenty of staff. I came in for a cleaning but truly found the dentist I will use forever. The team is thorough with their imaging, cleaning, and additional services. To date (about 4 months), they have fixed a crown and I am using their expertise to help me with sleep apnea. Most importantly, I am sleeping so much better, as I am not snoring (my wife thanks you) and I feel much more rested. To say I’m impressed is an understatement. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr Gardner since 2016/2017 and wouldn't trust anyone else. He's always made himself available ANYTIME I've had an emergency and they get me in right away. Everyone in their office is always professional, polite and accommodating. Dr Gardner has actually called me after procedure's to make sure I'm doing okay and ask if I needed anything. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. I'm thankful that he has two locations, that makes it convenient for people in Montgomery and in Conroe. The environment is very relaxing and comfortable too.

Fantastic experience: I’m absolutely terrified of the dentist. I can barely make it in the door. I was so so nervous in the waiting area, and the front desk lady noticed and chatted with me about her anxiety and how good everyone was in the office. They walked me through every step, They didn’t do anything without explaining it to me first. I couldn’t believe how much this truly relieved some of my anxiety! They were so kind and gentle ! I honestly can’t believe I had such a good experience ! They are such great people, and I am so happy. I found a dentist that is changing the stigmatism on Dentist. They clearly value their patients, and comfort!

Negative experience: It’s a shame the office policies ruin this decent practice. A complete waste of my time traveling to their office for my appointment to be told it was canceled because I didn’t “confirm” it. What’s the point of making an appointment?!

Fantastic experience: My number 1 requirement when I look for a dentist is that they have sedation because I fear the dentist chair! I had a cleaning and 2 fillings, I didn’t feel the prick of the needle, cleaning and fillings were done in no time, and I left a happy man. On top of that they gave me an awesome swag bag with things I can actually use, and they gave my wife some roses for Valentines Day. Where have you ever gotten those things from a dentist? Such a nice gesture! Staff was awesome, Dentist was great, and the beautiful office was warm and inviting. We picked a good one.

Fantastic experience: First of all, this is the nicest and biggest dentist office I’ve been to in all my years of going to the dentist. It’s so warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Feels like I’m in a model home rather than a dentist office. Second, the whole staff is so nice. They all have a calm demeanor, give you a tour of their facility, and show all the state of the art technology they use, including their incredible crown making machine for same day service and 3D xray machine if needed so they are not guessing at what they’re looking at. Stacy at the front desk was very understanding and accommodating when I had to reschedule for being sick. The girl who took my X-rays did an excellent job with no uncomfortable positions or pain. Great conversation. Dr. Gardner was very personable and thorough in his explanations, and the hygienist was very gentle with her cleaning technique. No sedation needed for me, but they do have it for people who are uncomfortable with any dental procedure. My whole experience was delightful (who says that about the dentist?).

Fantastic experience: The Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Matthew 7:12 This is my first social media post - ever. I could not be more proud to post now. In my 63 years of life I have had my fair share of dental exams and procedures; cleanings, whitening, cavities, orthodontics, braces, headgear, retainers, bite realignment, root canals, crowns, caps, gum disease treatments, shots, tooth extractions, implants, and more. As one might suspect, I developed an aversion and fear to anything dental, thus causing gaps in my care. Until, one day about 8 years ago when I was dealing with a “hot” tooth (a tooth ache X 100, where only applying crushed ice would momentarily soothe the pain) and searching for a dental office to relieve my unbearable pain. Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center was the first dental center I drove to on my fevered search for care. It was around 9 o’clock on a Wednesday morning. I pulled into the parking lot, jumped out of the car with my cup of ice in hand and scurried up to the second floor while in excruciating pain. No appointment, non-patient, no record of insurance, no nothing, just my pitiful self, the staff and Dr. Gardner immediately recognized my situation, welcomed me, led me to a treatment room and in less than 5 minutes had successfully treated me. From the moment I stepped into MCDC my dental care has been professional, relaxing and without stress or anxiety. I actually look forward to my appointments and seeing everyone. Each and every evaluation and procedure is predicated with a clear understanding of the dentists’ suggested service, various options to choose from and a clear understanding of their associated costs. Over the past 8 years, I have had the privilege to learn exactly what these dental centers are about and I have become to know the wonderful MCDC and Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center staffs, who truly care about you and your dental experience. I know this because I have personally witnessed and experienced it first hand while spending hundreds if not thousands of hours with the staff and the Doctors during my many patient and business interactions. Dr. Gardner’s offices account for countless pleased and gratified patients, many generous community gifts, extraordinary veteran support, support of local and national charities, providing free dental care to veterans, providing free dental care to the homeless, providing specialized mobility equipment for disabled veterans, sponsorship of countless organizations, countless professional and community awards, and many other philanthropic good deeds. I have also had the pleasure to develop a personal friendship with Dr. Gardner, his lovely wife, his children, his parents, his brothers and their children. They are all cut from the same cloth, you couldn’t find a finer family, period. They all live by the Golden Rule, not just when it is convenient, but always. This is what I know of Dr. Gardner and his very capable and professional staff. As a patient or a friend, one could not be in more wonderful care with this group of individuals. I believe that there are many patients/people who can truly appreciate and value what I shared about these two outstanding dental centers and the capable people that make them “The Best of Class”. I also know there are those who do not appreciate or value these qualities, perhaps they should redirect their energies to finding a provider that is more deserving of their needs and character. Negative experience: $950 later, my wife still has a broken metal orthodontic piece poking her in the mouth. My wife booked an appointment to have this office repair a broken permanent retainer - a piece of metal is poking her in the mouth. In all paperwork leading up to the appointment, she wrote that she wants this fixed. When she gets to the office, she adds "if we have time, I might like a teeth cleaning as well." They do the x-ray, then bring her an itemized list for $700. She thinks this is the charge for the x-ray, the teeth cleaning, and removing her retainer. This is more than the budget we set aside, but she thought "I need this done." She asked about splitting this charge into two payments and the woman said "You can do that only if you get half of your teeth cleaned." They then tell her she needs several other services which are all unrelated to the piece of metal poking her in the mouth. She says "I don't have time for all of that." They say ok. Then they perform a teeth cleaning and say "You're all done." When she goes out to pay, the bill is now $950. She says "I can't pay all of this now. I already asked about split payments for $700." They say "We'll charge the x-ray on your next bill, today is $700." When she got home, she told me the cost and says they did not fix the painful problem she booked the appointment for. I left several voicemails that day. Two days later the dentist left me a voicemail, I called him back and heard nothing for 3 more days, when he tells me "I'll call you in 3 days at the latest. I don't know exactly what she paid for yet, I think she pre-paid for her next appointment." 4 days later (1 week after the appointment) the dentist calls me and tells me "They tried to offer my wife the services of fixing her retainer but she said she didn't have time." Furthermore - "She signed for the services received. Our team did nothing wrong." I told him "She did not deny these services, this is why she booked the appointment." He said "I believe my staff. Your wife said she didn't want her retainer removed." I still didn't know what we paid for - he told me then that the $700 is for the teeth cleaning only. I told him she would never have agreed to a $700 teeth cleaning. He said "My team did a really good job with the cleaning, and she has additional services she needs", proceeding to list the other services she was offered but didn't ask for. She said she didn't have time for THESE services, and I wonder what the bill would have looked like if she stayed... The main service she needs is for the metal wire in her mouth to stop poking her when she eats, speaks, and breathes. This dentist finally sent an itemized receipt - not after the appointment, but 7 days later. He also blamed my email account for not accepting his emails and that's why it took so long "My IT guy tells me your email address is not receiving emails". It's a gmail account, it accepts emails. I gave him my work account and heard nothing. Finally I said "please just text me photos", which he previously told me he couldn't do, because they are client records and need to be encrypted. He eventually decided to "refund the $250" x-ray, which I have since come to understand is usually a free service for new patients and says that "That is more than fair". So now we're stuck with a $700 cleaning bill, which is more than we had set aside to fix the painful problem in her mouth. This dentist took our money and sees no problem with charging for premium services which we didn't ask for or understand we were getting. I called this office at least 6 or 7 times before getting a reply from them, and they kept ignoring me. The main dentist took 7 days to send a receipt of services, and during that time, also didn't understand what she paid for. I told him that this is a big miscommunication and a training moment, and instead of hearing me - the dentist insisted that they did nothing wrong and that my wife said she didn't want her painful problem fixed. I wonder how many other patients are receiving premium services they didn't ask for...

Positive experience: Rachel, the hygienist is really professional and nice. She always makes sure I don’t have pain and add anesthetic product if necessary. I usually stay one hour to get my teeth super clean. I am very sensitive but want my teeth and gums very clean. She is the best. I wish the lady who takes care of the financial aspect be more responsive because I waited a long time to get a number for a crown. She didn’t call me back like she said she would. I am going to get a crown job done soon. I will update this review when it’s done. Update: I had to cancel my appointment due to an health emergency. I called the day before, nobody answered and the message said there were closed for the day ( on a Thursday!!), I left a message and called the emergency contact who didn’t answer either but I left a message there too. The morning of the procedure I called early to remind them I wouldn’t be able to come. Answering machine AGAIN, I left a message. 20 min after the time of my original appointment, a lady called me visibly upset and told me in a condescending tone that because I had an appointment but obviously wasn’t there we have to reschedule. I told her exactly what happened with all the messages I left that they didn’t check!!! Really annoying to have to go through this while I had to deal with an health emergency. It should not be so complicated to cancel an appointment and they should check their messages before talking like that to their patients! Not a good feeling at all about that incident Update: again another frustration with their calling center. I called to get an emergency appointment because one of my crowns was falling off. The secretary could not find my name so she said she couldn’t give me an appointment. I insisted that I am a patient but she said she can’t find me in their system so she couldn’t give me an appointment. So frustrating that she didn’t believe me ! Finally I asked my husband to talk with her as I was so upset with all their mistakes and unprofessionalism. After a while she told him that the system was slow this is why she couldn’t find me. So why she didn’t say that to begin with instead of wanting to get rid of me as fast as possible without believing me. At the dentist office they are very kind and they make me feel like they really care each time I go but their calling center is not good at all. That’s too bad because it gives a bad impression right away when people try to get or cancel an appointment and that doesn’t reflect the kind atmosphere at the dentist office.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at the office and I was highly impressed. The office was very nice with a high attention to detail. The staff was thorough and provided excellent support. I especially appreciated the help of the dental assistant, Armando, who was very precise. Dr. Gardner was polite, professional, and explained everything. I can also say he had excellent technique as I had a partial crown and a filling with virtually no pain. I highly recommend this office for dental care for the whole family.

I am always nervous about going to the dentist after some past negative experiences, but everyone here was patient and kind, making sure I understood the process and any cost up front. I've already referred my husband, parents and grandma :-)

Negative experience: I go in to get my teeth cleaned & checked. It was my first time to this office, so they told me they would need about 2 hours - take xrays, do a thorough exam. OK makes sense. I explained to them that I only had 2 hours as I had a meeting shortly after. Was told no problem. Well an hour & forty minutes later I am presented with a $1500+ laser cleaning plan or something. I was told I also needed a bunch of other expensive work done. Oh and we won't be able to complete your cleaning today. I walked out without being able to have my teeth cleaned & had to pay $70 for a scan I didn't ask for. I felt like I was at a used car lot. What a waste of my time & money. I just wanted my dang teeth cleaned.

Fantastic experience: Admittedly, I have had some particularly awful and traumatic experiences with dentistry from childhood, so that's the presupposition I'm basing this review on. That said - I was treated with unmatched care, compassion, and respect by Dr. Gardner and team. From the moment I walked into the office, the entire team exuded tact, a pleasant demeanor and sincere, caring professionalism. I was honestly expecting a worse outlook upon examination, but Dr. Gardner reassured me in every aspect politely, professionally, and without glossing over the issues. Notably, it was Dr. Gardner's charity work with veterans in Montgomery County that alerted me to his practice, and as a vet, I am beyond grateful not only for his care and charity towards the veteran community, but his philanthropy in the community at large. If you, like me, have avoided regular dental checkups and found yourself in need of first-rate, comprehensive, eminently qualified care - look no further than Dr. Gardner, Dr. Leiker, and their fantastic team. Fantastic experience: Awesome place to go !! Dr. Gardner is fantastic, he genuinely cares about his patients and their comfort level. His assistant Armando was a pleasure to have and answered all of our questions and explained the visit details. The other staff members were very kind and thoughtful to our needs. I strongly recommend, especially for those with dentist anxiety.

The dental assistant, Andrea, was so kind and informative, my hygienist, Rachel, was so sweet and gentle and Dr. Leiker answered all of my questions and put my anxiety at ease. Carissa, the treatment coordinator, answered all of my treatment and insurance questions thoroughly. Highly highly recommend this practice! Dr. Gardner and Dr. Leiker are both exceptional Doctors and trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: The staff in this practice was WONDERFUL and I felt like I was given the red carpet treatment from the time I arrived until I left. Dr. Leiker was great and took care of resolving my issue quickly and painlessly. Andrea was quite knowledgeable and educated me well about the practice. Cheyenne and the other lady who assists with scheduling, whose name I forgot, unfortunately were both so friendly and quite helpful as well. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center for the last few years. My anxiety about the dentist has decreased and Dr. Gardner has done everything from simple cavity fills to crowns and I am still very comfortable with the whole team. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about the entire staff and Dr Wagner at Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center. They got me seen within hours when other officers needed weeks out to schedule. Amazingly clean office space, efficient, and the procedure (root canal) was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I drove up from Houston based on a recommendation and it was absolutely worth the trip. Cannot recommend them enough!
