Fantastic experience: I had my first experience at Foxridge Dental early this morning and WOW! I was greeted at brought back immediately, having18 x-rays and a panoramic skull picture taken. Then a digital impression scan that provided data I never knew going to other dental offices. The hygienist was incredible, explaining all the findings in depth at a level I could both understand and make easy positive changes to improve my oral health. Dr. Wu was kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Upon leaving the receptionist scheduled me for my follow-up and gave me a gift for coming in! I couldn't recommend Foxridge Dental enough, I hope my insurance never switches!

I struggle with generalized anxiety and my fear of the dentist was real. That has now been tamed, as this place took such good care of me. They gave me a wonderful experience . I have had one crown placed, and I will get my last one placed soon. My experience has been great. I can’t complain about anything honestly. I really appreciate Dr. Joe and Anika. They took good care of me and did life changing work. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Have been going to this practice for over 20 years. Dr Lord, a friend of mine sold to corporate 3 years ago. They let go a brillianty good hygenist, Emily but I went back and needed about the same amt of work as when Emily did it. No estimate was ever offered or provided. Got the bill and it was 3-4X as high as exact same amt of work done maybe 2 years previously. Went in personally to speak to them and person at the desk said they would speak with a manager. 3 weeks nothing. I get a text form a manager? (really, from a high end dental clinic?) that asked why I hadn't paid my bill. I said it was 3X as high as the same work done previously and I wanted to know why. No response by text or email or phone. Today with little warning, I got a notice from their collection agency adding $398 to the already unreasonably high bill. I rarely write reviews (maybe one every 5 years) but this is incredibly poor customer service and since they wouldn't listen or respond, and don't provide estimates before work is performed and needs to be made public at their choice.

Negative experience: Update 12/20/24: After multiple concerns with this practice, I am taking my business elsewhere. My dissatisfaction culminated today when my 2nd appointment to get my permanent crown was cancelled an hour before my 4:30 pm time due to supposed due bad weather. However, I believe the winter storm was a convenient excuse for the staff and dentist to start their weekend early. Rewind to this morning when the office contacted me asking to move up my appointment by 2 hours because Dr. Hinshaw’s schedule was open after 2:30. No mention was made of a weather concern. Furthermore, our area got a mere 4 inches of snow and there were no widespread school or business closings. I believe my appointment was cancelled to convenience the staff and Dr. without any regard for the great inconvenience this is now causing me. Originally when I reviewed this practice, I was forgiving of their short-comings. My first visit here after a hiatus from dentistry following Covid, I found it odd a dental tech polished my teeth BEFORE the hygienist cleaned them. Again, I believe this happened for the convenience of the staff as opposed to actually putting the patient first. Despite this, I still have Dr. Hinshaw a 5 star rating because I found her to be thorough and quite knowledgable. However, her schedule is quite limiting. She is in the office but a few days a week. Hence why now instead finishing the job they’ve already been paid for, they are telling the earliest they can get me in is nearly a month away! In addition to the rude scheduling fiasco, I am also wary of their billing practices. Our account has had a credit on it for over a year due to them overcharging us. Not once have they offered to cut me check. This is simply not the patient-centered well-oiled machine it was when Dr. Lord ran the practice.

The entire staff is so personable, friendly and professional that I was immediately at ease. And then there is the latest high tech equipment, which allowed my untrained eyes to see and also understand the state of my aging teeth and the work I need done to keep them as long as possible. Dr. Jennifer Hinshaw developed a step by step plan to complete that work, and financial plans are available to assist me with making payments. First impressions: I'm in good hands. Actually looking forward to getting my dental show on the road.
