Fantastic experience: Every single person who works here is absolutely wonderful, kind, beautiful people who deserve a lot more than my measly 5 star review. In my 30 years of life I have had exactly one dental procedure done, a simple cavity filling 20 years ago. When I arrived anxious and afraid everyone put my mind at ease, they explained exactly what was going to happen, my surgeon even explained other options that were far less appealing than a simple tooth extraction. While I was still a ball of anxiety the procedure was totally painless, the techs were so kind and calming talking me through my breathing, and even told me I did a good job haha. Now I know I probably need to bring a stress ball so I don't use up all their tissues, but I'm so very pleased with the service I received today. I am at ease knowing my problem tooth is gone, just a few days of recovery to go. Thank you so much from the extremely kind and caring front desk staff, to the techs who gave me the confidence I needed to finish the appointment, and my surgeon for being patient and kind with me. This experience has made it so I won't be so afraid to get my teeth looked at and worked on in the future and I can't even start to explain how valuable that is to me.

Fantastic experience: Just had novocaine to get an implant and all went smooth. After 2 days minimal pain if any. I'm so glad I did the procedure without anesthesia so I wasn't groggy the rest of the day so I could go about my day as normal. Top notch staff. Dr. Goldberg was personable and made me comfortable about the procedure and explained everything as he went. This is my 3rd and no more anesthesia if I need anymore implants in the future. If you have anxiety about the dentist just remember, fear is a liar. Push through it and you will realize its not as bad as you thought!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful. I was ashamed and terrified of the condition of my teeth and NOT ONCE did anyone shame me! Dr. Stasia is absolutely kind and gentle. He and the staff put me at ease and understood my fears. If you need any kind of oral surgery COMS is the place to go. Billing was clear and upfront. If all healthcare professionals treated patients the way the COMS staff treat their patients, no one would fear going to the dentist, doctor, surgeon or any other healthcare professional. COMS staff is top notch tier.

Fantastic experience: Got my wisdom teeth removed from this place and everything went really smoothly. The doctors were professional and tried ot answer any questions I had. They check insurance for you to make sure the procedure is covered. I experience minimal pain after my surgery. I would recommend this place to my friends and family should they have any dental surgery to be done.

Fantastic experience: I had a recent tooth extraction and lower right molar implant of the same tooth. Dr Strasia and his staff were very attentive and answered my questions honestly with slight humor, which I appreciated to help put me at ease. Having this procedure entails some discomfort but they did everything possible to minimize it. I felt Dr Strasia and his staff were very professional and did a wonderful job. I would recommend him to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I would absolutely recommend this facility for wisdom teeth extraction. Dr Kim P and team were amazing and cared for our 13 year old son so wonderfully. Very minimal swelling, pain, or disruption to the life of a very active and busy teen boy. If we need to return for our other child, we will do so without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I had all four wisdom teeth removed. My experience was very easy and comfortable! Before the surgery, I was offered a blanket, and after they got all the tech set up, they put me under anesthesia and removed my teeth. After waking up a bit drowsy from the drugs, I was brought to a nice bed to rest. Then I got some post-operation care instructions, with a little bag of gauze, ice packs, a soft foods “menu”, and pamphlets with instructions for pain management, cleaning, and all that stuff. Luckily, healing went smoothly for me! I had no pain whatsoever—not even the slightest bit sore (although I did take some ibuprofen just in case). It was a bit difficult to eat and drink, especially since I couldn’t feel my lower lip or chin for the first day, but I got to slurp some tasty milkshakes with a spoon! Overall, they did an excellent job making me comfortable— from start to finish— and setting me up to properly continue the healing process. I would return to COMS if I ever need another oral surgery— and I recommend it to others! Thank you for such a relaxing experience!

Negative experience: Worst dental experience in have ever had . Terrible communication and they practically kicked me out after the procedure. Till they figured out I hadn't paid yet. They did run out into the parking lot to get me then. Should have just drove off.

Fantastic experience: I had the misfortune of having a screw that holds my dental implant break. My dentist referred me to COMS for consultation. I met Dr. Pansegrau at the initial visit. He told me what I needed. A repeat appointment was made. When I was seen at the following appointment, he worked with 2 assistants and was able to remove the broken screw from the implant. Throughout the procedure I was very comfortable and he did stop and ask from time to time if I was doing okay. Dr. Pansegrau is the ultimate professional. He was careful and kind. He explained everything he was doing. The doctor and his staff were excellent. He is highly recommended. His office staff were friendly and efficient. This is a very caring organization. Update 07/22/2025 I want to begin this review by stating that I am a very nervous patient. To make matters worse I was referred here for an extraction of a bad tooth. At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Fantastic experience: I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed in one sitting and everything went smoothly. The staff was also quite patient and helpful in answering all my post surgery recovery questions.

Negative experience: I was in the waiting room and the front office personnel had a patient on speaker who was speaking Spanish and asking for personal information. It was very concerning. The bathrooms were dirty and the area they brought the patients to was wide open and not very clean. We were not able to see the surgeon after the procedure and the nurse was very rude - basically hurried us out. I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had several procedures with this office (East side) and can highly recommend them. Professional, kind, patient and knowledgeable, I trust them with my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Pansegrau and the assisting staff were lovely. They explained everything prior and put any anxiety to ease. Scheduling and front desk was very welcoming and was very easy to scheduled and get all my new patient information over to them.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the lack of flexibility in scheduling. Consults are booked only in the afternoon, but that does not work with my schedule. Have to completely reorganize and adjust my schedule so I could fit into their “30 minute consult window.”

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kramer is the best dentist for putting in implants or pulling teeth! He talks you through his procedures, making you comfortable with what’s happening and he’s also great at giving pain free shots to freeze your gums/teeth. I wish he did regular dentistry too, and then I would go to him for everything. His attendees are awesome too!!

Fantastic experience: I went in to the west side office for an emergency tooth extraction. The staff was so kind and professional - I’ve never had a bad experience with them there! While I have a dental phobia, the pain and swelling were so extreme from an orthodontic mishap, I was ready to yank the tooth out myself if I couldn’t get relief. Dr K was incredible, and understood my pain and frustration and worked quickly to take care of me. The procedure was painless (!) and I was in far less pain once the tooth with shattered roots was removed than before I went in. A couple of days later, I no longer look like I have a couple of golf balls stuck in my cheek and there is no pain. I am so grateful for the care I received!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about C.O.M.S. and Dr. Scott Goldberg! I had an unbearable toothache and needed an emergency extraction with sedation. I called everywhere with no luck, and even my dentist struggled to find an opening for me. But when she reached out to C.O.M.S., they went above and beyond. Even though they were fully booked, they told me to come in if I’ve found nothing and take the chance and they would they’d do their best to squeeze me in. Sure enough, within an hour of arriving and already had not eaten or drank since the afternoon prior I was ready and in surgery. Dr. Goldberg was incredible he made me feel comfortable, understood my fears, and took the time to reassure me throughout the process. The entire staff was professional, kind, and efficient, getting me in and out smoothly. I’m so grateful for their care and willingness to help in an emergency. Fantastic experience: Dr. Kramer and his team did an incredible job with my surgery! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed expecting recovery to be awful & it went very smooth. Dr. Kramer made sure to go through the entire procedure in-depth, had patience when answering my questions, prepped me to relax and calm the nerves. Afterwards, he checked in on me as I was coming out of anesthesia in-between his other appointments! I would like to give a special shout out to Theresa, Kristine, and Martina as his assistants taking such good care of me. They called me as promised within 2 hours after leaving to ask how I was doing and Dr. Kramer contacted me the following day. The billing specialist Kim was amazingly helpful. They are well organized! I HIGHLY recommend this team for any dental surgery. Thank you!

Negative experience: Very frustrated with the communication we have had with office staff and billing before and after the procedure. Frustrated that they couldn’t give us what we would exactly owe when we took our son in and then after the procedure was done I find out it was $1000 more than we were told. Also frustrated that some how it got marked that we didn’t want the biopsy done when we still did. I am frustrated because I feel that the communication from office staff and billing was very poor and we were not treated well. The procedure and the doctor did it was good other than we were told we would get to talk to him so he could tell us how it went but we never got a call and he was behind and we didn’t want to wait any longer because my son just wanted to go home. Very disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that needed to be pulled. My dentist recommended this clinic. It was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had!!! Normally I have difficulty numbing and usually need 2-3 attempts, before I numb. At this clinic I was numb in one shot and the tooth was extracted quite easily. I was in and out within 40 minutes! No pain during or after the procedure. Would definitely recommend this clinic!

Fantastic experience: I was in very capable hands with Dr Scott Goldberg at COMS for my wisdom teeth surgery. Dr Goldberg and the whole team did a great job of helping me overcome my anxiety and their very clear communication helped put me at ease. My experience after the procedure was pleasant. They gave me very good after care instructions, prepared me by providing pain relief medications (which I haven’t needed, but am grateful to have in case of emergency), and made sure I was comfortable before and afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kramer was referred to us by a friend. He was excellent. We went in and the dentist for my father had marked the wrong tooth on the paperwork and Dr Kramer realized that and sent us home. He refused to pull the wrong tooth! So glad. We got the proper referral and went back and had a wonderful experience. Myelderly father was super nervous but they all treated him with respect and care.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff were very helpful, and all of the nurses were amazing. Dr. Goldberg was absolute perfection. I felt no pain for the implant and the healing went perfectly because he did such a wonderful job. If I ever am in need of another surgeon, I will always go back to him.

Fantastic experience: Having a dental phobia, I tried very hard on my way to the office to not panic and go back home. From the smiling receptionist, to the absolutely awesome billing person, Kim, to the tech and then Dr. Kramer, I was reassured all the way that they "got it" and they "got me" AND they all did. I'M THE LAST PERSON WHO WANTS TO SEE A DENTIST, OF ANY KIND, BUT, I will go again, and again, and again, WITHOUT ANY HESITATION!!!! I cannot say enough good about this office and its personnel. They understand the panics that some people have when they go to a dentist AND they make it all good.

Negative experience: When someone is trying hard to make an appointment you first should let the person know that you do not accept Familia before they go through the trouble of getting the referral from you. I got the referral to you after having to call you again to clarify how to access your portal which I was never informed of initially. I then called again a couple hours later and I was then informed that you don't accept familia referral. You just texted me to make an appointment because you have my referral. I called back to make the appointment you were offering only to find out again that you don't accept familia. Why was I texted when you won't take me because of my referral? It's not nice to get someone's hope up and crush it twice.

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with my last dentist leaving me needing an exctraction ASAP. Got me in, looked and the tooth removed in less than 48hours. Reassuring and confident work from Dr. Goldberg. Would recommend and will be back to talk about getting other work needed.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a tooth extraction today and had an A+ experience! I am truly still so shocked at how fast I was in and out, and both the doctor and his assistant were so very sweet :) Made sure I was comfortable, relaxed, and informed. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth extraction due to pain from a cracked tooth. They took me in only 10 minutes after my scheduled time and the dental surgeon explained things well. As the molar in question was the furthest back I asked if an implant was necessary. I was pleased that he did not push this option, but told me to live without the implant for 3-4 months, then decide. The procedure itself was painless and I had only mild bleeding afterward. Aftercare instructions were very helpful and note that they have a dentist on call for unexpected problems daily.

Fantastic experience: These people are the best! Not only do they do amazing work, but they are also very patient and understanding. Every person that I interacted with was kind, reassuring, well-informed, and willing to take as much time as needed to get all my questions answered. They were willing to explain the issues, options, and procedures in as much detail as I wanted to set my mind at ease. As I was waking up from sedation, I watched the people working nearby and couldn't help but notice that, though they were all busy, working hard, they were just as kind and helpful to each other.

Fantastic experience: The nurse, whose name I never knew, was extremely pleasant and set a nice tone. I do not want to get anyone’s hopes up but once the procedure was done (it wasn’t the simplest, needing drilling a few times), I haven’t had the slightest problem. No bleeding, no swelling, no pain (didn’t really need the ibuprofen i took just In case). I guess I was lucky but if this is the way you do it I certainly have to give your outfit a great rating

I received anesthesia, which made it so easy and tolerable. The staff was very kind and made it all understandable and pleasant. I am thankful for their service!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish the staff and dentist were friendly, accommodating, and proficient . There was no wait period- it all moved along smoothly and quickly. I had no issues with pain or bleeding and feel fine, less than 24 hours post tooth extraction.

Fantastic experience: I was very worried to get my wisdom teeth removed as they were all impacted (4 of them). However, the visit couldn’t have possibly gone any better. The doctor was friendly, as was the nurse. They took the xray right before my surgery to save me a visit to the dentist and were willing to discuss the procedure and follow up procedures. I asked to keep my teeth and while the doctor agreed, as did the head nurse, the request didn’t make it all the way down the chain, which was disappointing, but not enough to knock down the review. If you really want it, make sure you talk to every nurse you see I guess!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice and professional. I was very nervous but was put at ease after talking to the nurse and doctor. We chose a less invasive procedure with less complications and will be monitored in case the more invasive procedure becomes necessary.

Negative experience: They did not give my partner proper information about his wisdom tooth removal. He was left shocked by several things right before the procedure. Real nice for a place that boasts professionalism. They were also rude to me when I asked questions and did not communicate with me about when his procedure would be done whatsoever. Low levels of communication for a place that handles procedures that can be very anxiety inducing. NEVER. AGAIN. Find better staff or train them better. Wanted to add a follow up here that my partner is now having severe complications and we have not been able to get anywhere with getting him help. I have had one dr yell at me on the phone because he was on call and we interrupted his time by calling with questions about an issue. This place severely lacks professionalism in any manner. When asked what I did to warrant him yelling, he refused to tell me and told me he would just hang up. No issues were addressed and no questions were answered. This was after my partners original surgeon's team was supposed to call me back and did not. Please dont go here. There are other options. It has been nothing but a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: Staff was friendly and explained my situation well. Smooth sailing from the moment I walked in through wheeling me out. Dare I say there were moments of humor and fun before I don't remember much at all? I went in fairly anxious to start. I don't mind routine dental cleanings and had a basic extraction before but wisdom tooth removal did scare me a little bit. Overall I'm very satisfied. Knowing what I know now, I would feel a lot less anxious if I had to do anything like this again.

We followed the very detailed instructions they send you home with and my child had a very easy recovery with hardly any pain or swelling. Positive experience: Had a pretty good overall experience with the administration staff, nurse that got me ready, and Doctor was very professional and explained everything clearly. The discharging nurse, on the other hand, was rude and acted annoyed with everything. Then I get slammed with a bill to pay right then and there for $730.00. When I called to setup my appointment the only thing the receptionist said was it was $50.00 per tooth and never said a price for the sedation and they'd just push it through to insurance and send me a bill if it wasn't covered. What happen to sending claims to insurance companies first and then mailing the patients a bill instead of putting this on them when waking up sedation...these last 2 things are the reason for the 3 star. But thanks for a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: This is my second experience with having an extraction at the Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. I had the same oral surgeon both times and he is excellent. The staff I dealt with during the extraction were wonderful. And the receptionists when you check in are very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Found Dr Strasia and his staff both professional and fun. I am sometimes hard to numb but Dr Strasia took his time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I also have a swallow difficulty which he was sensitive to and worked through perfectly. I was very satisfied with my treatment. Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with the care I received at the Center, specifically by Dr. Andrew Kramer and his assistants. Any qualms I had about having teeth pulled...and I did...evaporated within a few minutes because of the kindness and calm of everyone. Dr. Kramer's work was simply superb and his "chair-side" manor is exemplary. I am looking forward to having my new implants in a few months.

Positive experience: I appreciate the doctor and staff at the West side clinic. They were polite, patient and understanding. They explained what was going to happen and why. They checked often to ask how I was doing. My post care questions were answered fully. I was encourage to call again if I have other questions or concerns. I am pleased with my experience. 3-16-24

Fantastic experience: First of all, I just have to say this is by far the best customer service I have ever received! Celeste, who was making the appointments was trying to be as accommodating as possible but March look impossibly full and due to special circumstances I needed to be seen in March. She assured me she understood my situation and went above and beyond reaching out to the Doctor to see what could be done. My tooth needed to be removed due to infection and a failed root canal. Celeste and team came through in the biggest way ever- they asked if I could make it in an hour and I literally jumped for joy!!! The best news ever, who gets this excited to have a tooth extracted- I do because it was badly needed!!! I couldn’t be more grateful to Celeste for recognizing the urgency and acting on it on my behalf!! Also need to thank Dr. Brauns from Stacey Dental (Off Cottage Grove Road) for being an amazing advocate for his patients and ruling out fixing a root canal first!Three dentists appointments in less than 24 hours, thanks also to Dr. Strasia for getting that problem child of a tooth out and for understanding tooth pain and attending to it right away! Forever grateful to you all, but an extra thanks to Celeste for taking on this additional layer of challenge!

Fantastic experience: I had a great wisdom tooth removal experience here!! The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. I opted for numbing injections only out of personal preference, I never felt judged or silly for being nervous. They happily answered all of my questions and encouraged me throughout the extractions! You are in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: I had for wisdom teeth removed that required sedation. We were referred to this center from a small rural dentist in Plain, WI. I cannot say how much I appreciated the prompt communication from this facility. Within 24 hrs of receiving the referral from my dentist, The Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery reached out to me to set up my appointment. A couple weeks before my appointment they reached out to ensure I had everything I needed for my surgery, and called me afterwards to ensure I was recovering well. Such wonderful care! The staff was welcoming, helped me feel at ease, and was very informative. I would absolutely trust them again for future needs.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely EXCELLENT care!! Dr. Isaac and the entire staff were SO kind, professional and thorough. I couldn't have been more happy. My 16 yo had their wisdom teeth removed and was nervous about it. I think the demeanor of the staff made all the difference. From the bright, cheerful paintings to the very clean environment and all the people being so friendly, all of our fears were allayed. They wore N95 masks at our request and the staff were trying hard to use my child's pronouns!! The surgeon spent a lot of time with us before and after surgery, not rushing off to the next patient. He is a very sincere person with a deeply caring bedside manner. They gave us excellent after-care instructions and recovery has gone very well. We all know when it comes to our children, there is that extra layer of trepidation, especially with anesthesia!! So much trust is involved. I cannot say enough positive things about this place and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!

Prior to my procedure, I detailed to him my previous traumatic experience of having a horribly botched wisdom tooth removal, and how it made me hesitant to have the procedure done again, despite needing it. His detailed explanation of the procedure and the medications he would provide prior to anesthesia to calm my nerves gave me comfort knowing I would be in good hands. Fantastic experience: My son is on the spectrum and was in need of having his wisdom teeth removed. During the initial evaluation, Dr Dyer was very respectful and supportive in answering my son's questions and was very patient. For the surgery, he (my son, not the doctor) received a sedative and "slept" through the entire procedure. No issues and the follow-up support was excellent. Also, I had no insurance and they were very transparent with the costs, in advance, so I knew that there would be no surprises. Excellent service.
