Fantastic experience: Exceptional Emergency Care - Worth the Drive Dr. Matt Hostetler and the team at Verona Family Dental are outstanding. I drive over 2 hours each way to see them, and they make it completely worth it. When I had a painful tooth, they fit me in for an emergency exam the same day and promptly referred me to an endodontist that afternoon for a root canal. Their quick diagnosis and coordination ensured I got the care I needed without delay. Dr. Hostetler and his team are exceptional at what they do. Professional, caring, and efficient. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patton is an exceptionally talented dentist, and she is kind and caring too. When I had a botched crown (botched by another dentist in another town), she and her staff made extraordinary efforts to accommodate my scheduling needs. As a dentist-phobic patient, I need extreme comfort dentistry. She provides a gentle touch as well as quality work. Recommended without reservation!! Update: A crown came off over the holiday weekend. Dr. Patton's office got me in to have it repaired on Tuesday morning at 9 AM. They are great!!

Dr. Patton then did the complete oral / dental exam herself (not always the case with other dentists), and had clear advice about a couple of out of the ordinary dental situations I am delaing with. Everyone I dealt with was patient, friendly and informative. Couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone on the team! Also: had a difficult dental implant situation that was resolved completely to my satisfaction at a very reasonable price! Couldn’t ask for better service!

Been a patient here for almost three years and have found the staff very pleasant, which is such a nice atmosphere (especially if you have anxiety about dental work!). They even sent me a thank you card after my first appointment for choosing them. A small gesture, but memorable. The hygienist Tammy always strikes up conversation before getting to work on my cleaning and makes a point to ask about things we’ve chatted about in the past. The hygienist and dentist are both great about asking what concerns or questions you have related to your dental care. I don’t see a reason I’d ever switch dentists. :)

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Verona Family Dental enough! Dr. Patton is an amazing dentist who truly cares about her patients. She is always friendly, attentive, and takes the time to listen to any concerns I may have. The office staff is also very welcoming and professional. I have been a patient at Verona Family Dental since 2015 and have always had a positive experience. While they do book regular cleanings about 8 months out, I appreciate that I am able to schedule multiple appointments at once to ensure I stick to my 6-month intervals. I started taking my kids to Dr. Patton as soon as they were old enough and they have always felt comfortable and at ease during their visits. Dr. Patton takes the time to introduce them to the office and instruments before beginning any procedures, which has helped them feel more at ease. Now, they both look forward to going to the dentist and getting their cleanings. Even though I have moved 40 minutes away, I still make the drive to see Dr. Patton because I trust her and her staff with my dental care. They are willing to problem solve and are great with my whole family. I highly recommend Verona Family Dental to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and caring dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr. Patton has been my favorite dentist since my first visit. I'm 66 so there have been a few. Yesterday she got me in after I contacted her on a Sunday to handle what ended up being a more or less emergency root canal. I was leaving the country in a few days and she made it happen. She also referred me to a fantastic endodontist who also got me in the same day. All of the people who work with her are great too. They all seem as happy as they look on the website pictures.

She talked my little one through everything that was happening and explained all the tools, not even hesitating to put down one of the scarier looking tools when my daughter looked the least bit uncomfortable. Fantastic experience: I am adding to an older review because I just got back from Dr. Patton's office -- she spent about an hour this morning removing two old crowns from my front teeth and making sure the temporaries look natural until we can get the new crowns. This to me seems like very tricky work but Dr. Patton and her assistant were wonderful; I was super anxious about my front teeth and have deep, old anxieties about them -- but Dr. Patton talked me through it all and she showed great confidence, humor, and expertise. The work she does is both a science and an art, and she's got to be one of the best. So -- to repeat my older review: Dr. Patton is simply WONDERFUL. Her entire staff is great, but she's the best. Friendly, professional, attentive in every way, and very empathetic! She listens so well and helps me work through my dental anxiety issues :).

They helped teach me best practices that work for my life. I may only go every six months but they remember who I am individually as a patient and that matters! Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having Dr. Patton and Miranda care for me yesterday. Even though going to the dentist isn’t usually the most pleasant experience, I do enjoy coming to Verona Family dental. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave, the whole staff is very warm and caring. Dr. Patton explained everything thoroughly as she was working on my teeth and asked again afterwards if I understood and if I had any questions. She is very empathetic about any pain she may be inflicting, but honestly the pain is very minimal. This could be because I threatened to punch her if it got unbearable. Not being able to talk during the procedure, this would have been my only option to communicate. Good job team!

Fantastic experience: I finally smile with confidence. WHY! Dr. Kelsey Patton. Over the last few years I became reluctant to smile because of teeth darkened by antibiotics as a child, damage by orthodontics, and poorly shaped and cracking veneers. In two visits, Dr. Patton transformed my appearance with beautiful, naturally shaped crowns. I now have a gleaming smile to be proud of. Dr. Patton and her awesome staff, anticipated & answered all my questions. I have found my forever dentist.

And one must realize: I haven’t been to a dentist in 11 years. I was terrified. I had a flare-up of #9, #11, and a bunch of other medical terminology that is far too esoteric for my blue-collar carpenter understanding but I will absolutely be proceeding with a daunting procedure that…. well, let’s face it: gettin’ old! Dr. Patton is congenial, thorough, tender, and has a great sense of humor; her esteemed assistant colleague Jenny deserves no less recognition. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Matt Hostetler for about 5 years, mostly for check-ups every 6 months. He is thorough, pleasant, and always welcomes any questions I might have. Two years ago, I somehow managed to crack one of my fillings from 30 years ago. Matt removed it and put in a new one within 3 days of my calling for an appointment. It has been perfectly comfortable ever since and the cost was reasonable. One of his hygienists, Lois, also deserves 5 stars for her efficiency and pleasantness. Also, the new clinic on Liberty Drive is a huge upgrade from the former Verona location. Check it out.

And greatly appreciated. I was not in any discomfort . It was my decision to wait and was promptly scheduled for a Monday appointment. All better now.

Dr. Patton was excellent as always. What I really appreciate about he is, that she keeps me informed. I was able to hold a mirror in front of my face while she was explaining certain problem areas. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Verona Family Dental for over five years. Dr. Patton is amazing and her team of dental hygienists are wonderful! They are always positive and encouraging (especially when it comes to the realities of flossing :) ) The environment is welcoming and professional. Care is thorough and efficient with all tools readily available in each room (including x-ray machines). Bonus: It's located right on Main street with coffee shops and Hop Haus Brewery located right next door!

Everyone has a caring and positive attitude and give you time and attention. I left feeling no doubt that I had picked the right dentist. My husband and I had been told by our previous dentist that we both had cavities that required filling. Dr Patton provided us with a second opinion. In reviewing the x-rays together it was clear that fillings were not required.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been patients at VFD for two years now. I find Dr. Patton and all the staff very professional, personal, glad to answer questions, and offer insights on aspects of dental care. The staff is up to speed on the latest dental tech items for consumer use. For example, I was given timely and helpful information on an electric toothbrush I inquired about, should I wish to go that direction. The staff is very thorough in these COVID19 times. No worries there. Also, our daughter, son in law and now our grand daughter, three, is a patient as well...and quite satisfied as a little one!!

Fantastic experience: I have very sincere dentist anxiety after a very aggressive dentist in my youth and spotty dental insurance in the past. The whole staff at VFD has been super helpful at getting me back into a good routine with the dentist and feeling comfortable in the dentist's chair again. They rock and I make a point to maintain them as my primary dentist as I bop around the country for months at a time. I always schedule my appointments for when I'm back because I know I won't find a dentist like this anytime soon. Also huge shout out to my fave hygienist Megan!!
