Fantastic experience: [Updated: July 20, 2026] Last week Dr Dialani did step 1 (of 2) for an implant. He prescribed me an antibiotic (for any swelling, if needed) and a pain killer, if needed. Usually, a pain killer is needed post dental surgery or implant. This time, however, Dr got different and enhanced tools. This step 1 (implant screw) got completed in 40 minutes. Blue Gel to numb the impacted area, an injection to complete the numbness in the impacted area and then completed the procedure in 30 minutes (with 2 X-Rays in between to check the implant alignment to be sure). There are no stiches. BEST PART is that there was no need to take antibiotic or pain killer. On the day of procedure, I took just 2 Tylenols post procedure at 5pm and at 10 pm on Friday, that is it. Until now, It was a precision surgery. I will be seeing him again in 2 months time for the step 2 (placement of crown tooth over implant). Thank you so much Dr. Dialani. You are the best in town. [Earlier] Been with preferred dental care for more than 7 years, just one reason, excellent care and services. Ample parking, less than 5 min wait on appointment times. And Dr. Dialani takes time to listen to problems and address them very efficiently. A nice and pleasant smile on everyone's face makes me feel good. Thanks everyone for wonderful service. In this pandemic, this facility at Chapman Ave location, is very clean, staff is taking all precautions required for effective and efficient service to patients, no issues there.

Negative experience: I called the office because my insurance is changing and I won't receive my new insurance card until a few days after my scheduled appointment on 6/4/26. I was simply looking for guidance on how to handle the situation and whether I should keep or reschedule my appointment. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was not very professional. During the conversation, she made several comments about how she thought I should handle the situation rather than focusing on helping me understand the office's process or available options. The interaction left me with the impression that customer service was not a priority... that keeping business was not a priority. When I ultimately asked about rescheduling, I was told the office was booked until 2027. If that's accurate, then business must be going well, but it also means they were unable to offer any reasonable accommodation for an existing patient dealing with an insurance change. I've decided to look elsewhere for dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Preferred Dental Group for a couple of years now, and every visit has been a positive experience. I always feel taken care of and truly understood. I bring my children here as well, and we’ve consistently received excellent care—whether it’s for routine cleanings or emergency visits. Both of my kids feel comfortable and confident with the dentist, just like I do. I struggle with dental anxiety from past experiences, but Dr. Dialani is always incredibly patient and treats me like family. The entire staff is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. Going to the dentist can be stressful, and finding a good one isn’t easy—but I’m so glad we found this office.

Negative experience: I was sent a text message to leave some feedback so this is an honest review based on my last.. I went in on 7/2/2024 for a crown and a couple of fillings. Everything was fine up until the moment I asked for a print out of the actual estimate for me to look at so I don’t have to ask multiple times how much each procedure is, what my insurance is covering and how much I would be paying out of pocket. The girl that went over the estimate just seemed to be very bothered by the questions I had just so I can have a clear understanding of what I’m paying for. Then she came back with paperwork for me to sign which had incorrect billing information. Why they gave me paperwork to review, sign and expect me to just look past it and sign if it’s incorrect is beyond me. After I made her aware that the information was incorrect she made me feel pressured to sign the paperwork or else they could not move forward with my procedure. After calling the financing company it turns out that they had my updated information so it’s still unclear to why preferred dental has it wrong in their system. This delayed my entire appointment and I was only able to get my temporary crown and not the fillings which was an inconvenience since I had pushed my appointment out to get it all done at once. Over all I didn’t feel comfortable after the incident and it made me feel like I was inconveniencing their schedule and fell behind which is why they couldn’t do the fillings that we had talked about that day. I work in customer service so I observe experiences like this closely

Negative experience: Very poor customer service. The front office cannot give time frames for when insurance verification will be completed besides “when we get to it” Spoken to rudely and just overall poor experience. Also experienced extremely long wait times at my last visit despite showing up in time for my appointment. There was no apologetic attitude from anyone in the office.

Negative experience: I got referred here to get dental cleaning and consulting for braces by Awesomes Kids Dental. Even though I had an appointment, the doctor and administration staffs welcomed the old patients and let them go in front of me even if I got an appointment. I waited for almost an hour after my appointment time and when the doctor performed cleaning, he rushed over the process as it hurts a lot more than other dental offices that I visited. After the rushed cleaning, the doctor didn't even let me finish asking about the braces, and even rescheduled my next appointment to another 2 weeks. Both the customer services and hospitality are terrible.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office. I have been going to Preferred Dental for 1 1/2 years and they have been consistently great with their dental care and work. Dr. Yue is amazing and he takes the time to talk to you and asks questions about your dental needs. He also remembers specific things you have said from the last dental appointment and refers back to those and addresses those mentioned as well if anything needs to be taken cared of. Very happy with Preferred Dental and the front staff is very friendly and they remember all their patients from the last visit. Great care for all dental needs. The office is kind of hidden when going there for the first time, but there is plenty of parking in the back side of their office.

They also get you in and out quickly for your appointments. I highly recommend them for any type of dental work.

My coworker referred 3 people and she didn't get anything....no credit, no goodie bag, nothing. I like them because they're also close to my office and by the freeway.
