Fantastic experience: I recently had oral surgery here at Affinity, and both the staff and service were very easy to follow, with no issues. Dr. Chopra and his assistant, Damien were working on me, and they were very comforting. They treated me well and made me comfortable during the operation. I highly recommend this dental center for its warmness.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I called Affinity Dental Center to inquire about their services, I knew this office was different. As a first-time patient, I was able to get a fast appointment, and the customer service exceeded every expectation. Dr. Kim, the in-house specialist, was absolutely amazing. He had incredible patience and genuine empathy while removing an old crown that had gone bad. He took his time, made sure I was comfortable, and explained everything throughout the procedure. His assistant, Maggie, was super kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She made me feel at ease and was always one step ahead, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Jessica, my treatment coordinator, was outstanding. She thoroughly explained my treatment plan and billing, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel like I was just another patient or a dollar sign. It truly felt like everyone in the office genuinely cared about my health and well-being. Last but certainly not least, Nancy made all of this possible. From our very first conversation, she was warm, welcoming, and compassionate. She listened as I shared my previous bad experiences with other dental offices and made me feel completely at ease. Thanks to her kindness, I didn't just find a new dental office—I feel like I found a new friend. From the moment you call to the moment you walk out the door, every member of the team makes you feel like you're part of their family. This was honestly the best dental experience I've had in a very long time. I will definitely be coming back to see my new dental family. Fantastic experience: I went in and had a surgery today and was extremely nervous, but Dr Chopra and his team took great care of me. Hands-down, the best office. Shout out to Yolanda, Maggie, Selena, Veronica for making this a pleasant experience. I had minimal pain after my surgery and recovery was so fast. I will recommend this office to anyone who needs any kind of dental work.

Negative experience: My family has been going here for decades and they’ve made staff changes in the past couple years that have made this dental facility a mess. Scheduling department is always a mess - we make sure to get appointment cards so that we can prove to them what time and what hygienist and they even send text message confirmations and they always end up changing your appointment the week of. We’ve also had experiences with the billing department where they couldn’t find a receipt proving a payment but we had it and once we showed our proof of payment they found it in their files. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to any one for their terrible customer service and disorganization. It will just add extra unnecessary stress to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed under full anesthesia by Dr. Chopra, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was so nervous beforehand, but everything went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. I only had swelling for one day, barely any discomfort, and I didn’t even need to take pain medication because by the second day I already felt great. By day three, my swelling was completely gone. The recovery was way easier than I ever expected, which really shows how skilled and professional Dr. Chopra is. Dr. Chopra is not only an amazing oral surgeon, but also very friendly, professional, and reassuring. I felt completely taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend him to anyone needing wisdom teeth extraction or oral surgery. Truly such a great experience!

Negative experience: Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I was charged approximately $1,700 for services that ultimately were not rendered, despite my actual appointment being scheduled nearly two weeks out. The entire billing process lacked transparency from the beginning. I was not provided receipts or proper documentation regarding charges, which made it difficult to understand what I was actually being billed for. When I questioned a $526 miscellaneous code (that was not covered by insurance) on my breakdown, I was told I would receive a callback with clarification, but no one ever followed up. I was later told the charges were related to a CT scan, calcification and antibiotics, which raised additional concerns because those items appear like they could have potentially been billed separately and possibly submitted to insurance instead of being grouped together. The way everything was bundled together felt very misleading. I was also shocked to learn there would be nearly $70 in fees just to obtain copies of MY OWN dental records and X-rays after deciding not to continue treatment. While the office may have its policies, the overall experience left me uncomfortable enough that I chose to cancel future appointments and seek care else where. As someone who works in the healthcare industry, I understand how billing, insurance submissions, documentation, and patient communication are supposed to be handled. In my opinion, the way this office operates is highly unethical and appears focused on maximizing charges rather than prioritizing transparency and patient care. Although the office ultimately processed a refund after I escalated my concerns, that does not excuse the way this situation was handled from the beginning. Patients should not have to fight for basic billing clarity, documentation, fair treatment, or worry about being charged thousands of dollars before services are even rendered. I strongly encourage future patients to ask detailed questions about billing, insurance submissions, itemized charges, financing, and record request fees before agreeing to treatment here.

Fantastic experience: Cindy my long time hygienist is outstanding! She is friendly, highly knowledgeable and a true professional! I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Went in to have X-rays, exam, and cleaning. I was taken early for X-rays and my dental exam. All went well. Then I saw my dental hygienist, Cindy. She was, as usual, friendly and very professional. She is the only hygienist I will let do my cleaning. All in all, everything went very smoothly with no issues. Thank you Affinity Dental staff, and especially Cindy.

Fantastic experience: Affinity has always been great with their core services. They have talented professionals who provide exceptional care. I appreciate the noticeable shift away from pushing non-critical services so as to not pressure customers to maximize profits. They will certainly provide options to services, but ultimately leave it to patients to decide without pressure. Thank you!

Negative experience: I don't recommend this dentist I got an extraction on march 18,2026 and I still got a bump above the extraction site. And the dentist was really rough when doing the extraction, he's probably a rookie I've got better treatment In prison.

Positive experience: Very professional. Timely. Everything flows smoothly. My root canal was done without pain, other than the first shot, but actually was a good experience as they were very explanatory as to the goings on if this was my first root canal. I would recommend this office to anyone.

My Dentist was able to get my gums to look like they did before:) can’t even tell anything apart from my old gums to my new ! Fantastic experience: Two visits, appointments were honored and the dentist, DR. Kim and his assistant worked well together attending diligently to my care.

Negative experience: Charged me on a finance company they use before I had the work done. The finance guy told me I had been approved, but did not inform me that he was putting the charge through that day! Plus, he put pressure on me that I did not like. Thankfully, I was able to get the charge reversed. Needless to say, I did not go back.

Negative experience: Horrible dental experience and very poor chairside manner by D Chopra. Shots hurt so much and he had the audacity to tell me he was helping me!! Poor clinical skills, will never go back to this office!!

He was very thorough and explained everything before and after procedure. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Shebli and his assistant Yolanda. Definitely recommend Affinity Dental, I have been a patient for many years .

Negative experience: The doctor who examined me lacks professional ethics; she had a terrible attitude, couldn't answer my questions, and didn't help me at all—she clearly seemed very angry. I believe that if she doesn't like her job, she should leave; she needs to learn how to treat patients properly. I will not be returning to that clinic. I had a very bad experience

Fantastic experience: Dr Arnel Eugenio is one of the best dentists I have ever had. He really cares about his patients and does great work. He has been our dentist for years and we won’t go to anyone else. The people at Affinity Delta are very kind and give wonderful service to any one that walks in the door. Our favorite hygienist is Cindy. She cleans your teeth until they are sparkling and gives you all the information to keep them that way.

Negative experience: The dentists, hygienists, and specialists here do excellent clinical work, but the BILLING DEPARTMENT IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. I used CareCredit for my treatment. Since this office is in my insurance carrier’s EPN network, they must follow the contracted fee schedule. After the first phase of treatment, I requested an itemized statement to see what was charged. It took THREE SEPARATE REQUESTS before I finally got it. After reviewing every billing code with my insurance carrier, I learned I had been OVERCHARGED BY $2,350.60 based on the agreed‑upon rates. These weren’t small errors; THEY WERE SIGNIFICANT AND INTENTIONAL OVERCHARGES. I reached out to the billing department multiple times by phone and email to correct the charges and received no response at all. I now have to dispute the charges directly with CareCredit. My advice to anyone considering this office: ➡️ Get all costs in writing before treatment. ➡️ Verify every amount with your insurance carrier. ➡️ If they are out‑of‑network for your plan, I would avoid them entirely to prevent major overbilling. Clinical care is great, but the billing practices were extremely troubling, and patients deserve to be made AWARE and WARNED.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dental office for close to fifty years and have always been treated very well and professionally. My hygienist Soloni and Dr. Eugenio are the greatest. I would highly recommend Affinity Dental to everyone.

Positive experience: They are very kind; however, at times appointment times are changed without notice. If I am confirming an appointment I expect it to be a confirmation of the actual time i scheduled, not a new time that was changed without notification. In addition, in more than one instance services have been recommended; however , they were not recommended when we sought a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: A lot of new information came to me through John. In all the years I’ve had my teeth cleaned, no matter where, John cleaned the lower bottom center teeth better than any dental hygienist ever. Kudos. A very good experience. Showing and comparing before and after photos. Truly a good experience.

Negative experience: I usually have great experiences here, but my recent cleaning with Mariya felt a bit rushed. She didn’t take the time to explain the process like my usual hygienist does, which made the appointment feel impersonal. I also found her technique to be a little rough compared to what I’m used to. I still appreciate the overall professionalism of the office, but I hope to return to my regular hygienist next time.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say that I am thankful with the staff and Dr. Kim, as we had a small incident happened where I was upset and didn’t like one of the dentist on he was with my daughter. But after speaking with the front office supervisor she helped us schedule with Dr. Kim. Which was already treating my other daughter. Both my girls were nervous but Dr. Kim’s assistants really did their part on making my kids comfortable. I honestly appreciate them so much. Also they were so sweet that they even gave my kid a birthday card and a little gift. Fantastic experience: July 8, 2025: today I had my appointment for a crown. Lupita, Dr. Le, and Bridget were again fantastic! Lupita was so caring with my prep and answered my questions. Dr. Le was so great with my local anesthetic; the entire process and procedure was quick and painless; she is a fantastic professional. Bridget was efficient and made sure I was comfortable and good to go. Affinity Dental again gave excellent care! Prior post (2024): Today I had a molar extraction and bone graft at Affinity Dental in Santa Ana. It sounded like an involved procedure, but my questions were answered and I felt at ease and confident. Dr. Alfred Penhaskashi (Dr. P) was calm, professional, and very skilled from anesthetic to completion of the procedure (dental implant). Yolanda started my morning with explanations of the procedure and process, answered some extra questions I had, and assisted Dr. P throughout the procedure with attentiveness and care. Dr. P and Yolanda are exceptionally skilled and caring professionals! Prior post (2019) Dr Le, Lupita, Dr Kim, Bridget, and Ana were so awesome in my care! Everyone was so nice, and the dental assessment and procedure was precise!
