Due to COVID we haven’t been able to enjoy all the perks this place has to offer (game room, theater) while you wait. 4 stars due to waiting time… up side is you are not rushed out, they take care of their clients. 24Sep24 update: I now have a 2nd kid going through phase 1 here. I continue to be impressed with this place! The staff are friendly and communicate very well regarding treatment plan, next steps, etc. I gave them 5 stars as the waiting time is no longer an issue, likely due to change in COVID precautions (i.e., #of people allowed in Treatment area).

My son was the first to get his braces since his accident where he lost his 2 front teeth. They were able to attach fake teeth on the braces until his next phase. I have recently got my braces and my youngest son will be getting his soon. I highly recommend their services.

Putting my teeth and roots first to make sure everything is tracking as it should. He and everyone in the office is very personable and nice. My ortho check ups are quick and efficient which I appreciate, and any questions or concerns are answered and looked at immediately. My experience here has been wonderful and I would recommend to anyone I know. I am scheduled to finish my treatment very soon and I would 1000% do it over again. Loving the results!

Fantastic experience: We have been using Smile Doctors Orthotics for years! I personally got Invisalign treatments and two of my three children have gotten their orthotic treatments here. (My other child was evaluated and it was determined that he did not need orthodontics, which I appreciated because they didn’t try to get him in under false pretenses to make money.) The staff is wonderful! My children have special needs and they have worked diligently to accommodate their individual needs to the best of their ability. Any time someone asks me if I know a good orthodontist, I always recommend Smile Doctors!

Negative experience: Not happy with this last visit. My daughter is on her last set of aligners. We needed to make an appointment to receive them and add a few more buttons. Due to her college schedule she can't get there until 2:30. They refused to make the appointment. Said it couldn't be later than 1:30. The appointment wouldn't be more than an hour. I asked about Thursdays but they are not in the office. With the money that I spent I would expect better service. I was under the impression Smile Doctors is open until 5pm!

Melissa was so thorough with explaining the financial portion, Dr. T was amazing when talking me through the treatment plan, and Sandra did an amazing job putting on my braces! Fantastic experience: The weight lifted at the initial visit by the consultation due to affordable pricing and easy down payment with plan. The staff are all worth their weight in gold. The sense of accomplishment and rebirth my son felt was expressed in his new smile. The mothers relief, exhaling finally, knowing her son could walk proud,head held high, in the halls at school, making new friends with that smile. Him not worrying as he did before of people judging him with a smile.. The gratitude in the staff taking him being bullied personal as they diligently worked their magic.I wish I could give them all hugs or a million dollars to say thank you.

We had a fantastic experience with Tiffany, who made my son feel completely at ease with the whole process!!

Negative experience: Another appointment canceled by them. Delayed treatment. Again. We loved it when it was Wilson. I so regret taking my son back there. I've had three kids go through there in the last few years. They have not had one appointment that wasn't rescheduled. And most of this was pre Covid. So that's not an excuse. Extremely ridiculous. I'd recommend going elsewhere unless you like delays and frustration.

Negative experience: Can you do zero stars? I am not someone who does negative reviews, in fact this is my first. When we first went to Wilson, they were very attentive and my daughter enjoyed going to her appointment (as much as you can to the orthodontist) because the people were kind, empathetic and tried to make you feel comfortable. Since the acquisition by Smile Doctors that service has gone. I do not get to take my daughter to the appointments, but I hear the stories when she gets home that she does not like the people and that they are not nice. Before today I was not sure what was going on. I was fortunate to get to take her to her appointment today and I must say that I do not understand how anyone can submit their child to such horrible service. When we invest in our children’s health and well being we do it with a certain level of trust in the “caregivers” we pay to perform the necessary service. The entire experience was not personal, kind, supportive of empathetic to the needs of the patient. I will not go in to the details of the entire ordeal, but it left me wondering how this practice is allowed to continue to be in business. I can understand there may be issues and that you may have to wait for an appointment, but 45 minutes after our scheduled time is quite excessive. Maybe we could have been notified that it would be an extensive wait when we arrived, but the person at the front desk was more interested in what she was doing on the phone than paying attention to us. Both the assistant and the Orthodontist were extremely rude and carried on a demeaning conversation with both my daughter and myself in a room full of others, which I do not appreciate. The assistant tried to argue with my daughter and basically called her a liar in front of me. I understand that there are often leadership circumstances that invite delays or procedural issues, but these people are just not nice and are very apathetic. In order to avoid making a scene I chose to just leave as I am sure there was not anyone there to reason with or have a productive discussion. I understand that this is a long winded review, but I would like for anyone thinking of utilizing this office for themselves or a family member to please do your research and maybe talk to as many of the persons there as possible before making their decision.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lekht is absolutely incredible. One of the most personable doctor's I've ever come in contact with. Remembers everything I've ever told her about myself and family. She makes me feel like family when I see her. The staff here is also amazing. I literally never leave unsolicited reviews but after so many amazing experiences I had to get on here and sing their praises. Smile Doctor's need to hold onto these people they are absolute assets to their business.

Negative experience: Call them 10 plus times to talk to office manager to handle issue with daughter's proposed braces procedure. Kept getting a call from the operators and never the manager to fix the issue. They seemed very understanding, yet they charged my card and kept deposit after insurance paid for braces removal. Daughter never received any more treatment yet they proceeded to charge my card for braces my child never received and I still habe heard from this office manager to fix this issue.

Negative experience: When this was Wilson Ortho it was fabulous. The smile doctors conversion has made this place completely ordinary and no longer the guest centric place it was under Dr. Wilson. Wanna wait 30+ minutes once you arrive? Wanna wait 3 weeks for a broken bracket appointment? Then Smile Doctors Flowery Branch is the place for you!

Fantastic experience: Have both boys seen for invisalign and braces. They take great care in helping my boys get the smile they deserve. Only negative is the wait, can be over 30 min before you are seen.

Negative experience: Front desk is very friendly, and the office is inviting however we have had to wait for our appointment on multiple occasions for extended periods of time.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service since the office was sold to Smile Doctors. The office staff is snippy and the account reps are snippy and argumentative. Horrible people!!! They will not send monthly statements or send you new paperwork. The account reps cannot even look up the information in your account to send an email. You can tell they are now using an outside service team to do their client calls as the call I received from them came from a number in Colorado. No one calls you back when you call and leave a message.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Lekht! She recommended jaw surgery I couldn’t be happier! She was always so nice and put up with me even though I was always so picky about my teeth!

Positive experience: I have two children who currently have been receiving treatment at Wilson Smile Ortho for over a year now. We loved it when it was just under Dr. Wilson, but unfortunately we have seen decline in the quality of treatments since the merger. Multiple times I have had to bring my children back for repairs on poor quality of work; example - brackets not being clipped on the wire, wires popping off of molar fittings, etc. Simple mistakes, but lately it's been highly routine for us to come back often in between appointments which is frustrating and inconvenient. Their teeth look good, so that's the main point. However, I would not bring my other child in nor recommend them to any friends.

Fantastic experience: Impeccable. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think of going to the orthodontist. I don't look at it as "a trip to the orthodontist", it's become a second home for me. I never thought I would get excited to sit in a chair and have someone examine my mouth let alone attempt to fix the disaster I have going on but the ladies here in Flowery Branch have been so genuine and personable you forget your even nervous or afraid. I have recommended so many of my friends and family members to this institution. They have proven that creating confident smiles are more than just careers it's a lifestyle. I don't know how I was fortunate enough to land a spot in Mr. Wilson's chair but there are some blessings you don't question.

Fantastic experience: Have had a great experience will all three of my kiddos. Each needed such individualized treatment plans and Dr Wilson did a great job addressing each of them. I have always found the office to be super clean and the staff friendly and knowledgable. And my kids don't mind the fresh baked cookies either. 5 stars!
