I had a problem with my new dental insurance and their admin staff stayed on the phone with the insurance company until it was resolved. Happy with all the service I’ve received here.

Fantastic experience: I can Only Offer High Praise for this dental group!! I have been going there For 8 years. The whole Staff is very nice and Professional. The Hygienist that has looked after me 8 years through gum disease and has been hands down the best ever…she is gentle and thorough and thoughtful of her patients. Her name is Susan Sosebee and I would drive 50 miles to if I had to to because she is wonderful.

Negative experience: I do not Know what has happened but whatever it is terrible and whatever they think they are doing they are not. I just spoke to the front office which left my anxiety on high and made me cancel an appointment I had for 4 months. The Chaos is almost permeating though the phone and it made me do something I never do because I know it's rude but I hung up mid sentence of the office manager and I yelling match in which she told me me its my responsibility to track my own benefits which they sold me by the way ( Dendrite) and now no longer sells. The attitude of the front office staff will eventually yield to another turn over the 4th one in three years. If you are use to the business that was there before this is no longer that. Don't ask for the front office manger her anxiety and nature speaks to the challenge of the labor force and makes you afraid that these people have your home address thank Goodness we moved They have taken the very essence of what made this practice like a family. A place where people were well informed ahead of time and treated with respect to one where many will leave because of rudeness, chaos and combative office staff. I will never return and I suspect that will be sentiment echoed more if they keep this same front office staff. This new crew will not last and if they stay the business won't last long. The only great thing left is Susan who everyone else here will agree is amazing. The new chaos of this location is heartbreaking I have driven one hour and 20 mins for my appointments for the last 6 years because of Susan and today I am sad because the only hygienist I want to see is now at the madhouse.

I have already told everyone who called today where their next dentist visit should be. It’s rare to be treated equally, and so kind.

Fantastic experience: The ladies that helped me here were amazing. Had a problem with a tooth I really needed to get looked at and Ms.Debby at the front desk was amazing at helping find me a time where I could get in immediately. Even went as far as having Ms.Lamara who took care of my exam and cleaning work through her lunch just to get me in. I do really bad with my reflexes when it’s comes to getting the X Rays but Ms.Lamara was amazing at making it quick and efficient. The manager Ms.Amy even went as far as calling an oral surgeon to get me in the next day so I can get my tooth taking care of ASAP. I had just an amazing experience and these ladies really cared about me . I didn’t feel like just another patient. If your looking for a new dental home.. look no further than Imagix Dental Of Buford.

Fantastic experience: Great visit this Wednesday. Hygienist did a fantastic cleaning. Hygienist was very professional and friendly. Explained the importance of cleaning and keeping your gums healthy.

Negative experience: Horrible. They do not check insurance. They charge you before they even figure out what's covered by insurance. Given a price by manager and then the front desk charged me a different amount.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dental office since middle school, back when it was Buford Family Dental. Unfortunately, I will be seeking a new dentist when I am due for my next cleaning in July. The staff was extremely inconsiderate and passive throughout my visit. I have a documented choking issue with the oral X-ray device, which my regular hygienist, Susan (who is wonderful and not the hygienist who saw me), is fully aware of and has always accommodated. Despite this being in my records, the staff was either unaware of or ignored this information and made me attempt the X-ray again, causing the same choking issue I have previously documented. I had to Inform THEM i need a pano x-ray. I also had to repeatedly explain that I am not in a financial position to have my wisdom teeth removed or address irritation on the inside of my cheeks. Throughout the entire cleaning, I was lectured about financing options for these procedures despite clearly expressing my financial limitations. During checkout, the front desk staff appeared completely uninformed. The receptionist did not know why my father’s name was still on my paperwork and seemed generally unaware of my account details. I was also incorrectly scheduled for a three-month cleaning interval, even after explaining that my regular hygienist had moved me back to a six-month interval due to documented improvement. I was then talked down to by another hygienist in the checkout area, as though my explanation carried no weight and I was being treated like a child. That same hygienist stated that I had periodontal disease, even though I was previously told I was only at risk and was never formally diagnosed. When it came time to pay, I requested to wait until the insurance adjustment was applied, as I am currently waiting on pay from my employer. I then asked to make a partial payment, which was also denied by the office manager. I was told full payment was required immediately. This was an extremely disappointing experience. It is unfortunate what this practice has become since transitioning to Imagix. I will not be returning and will be seeking a new provider.

Fantastic experience: This is my second Imagix location visited and the experiences have been excellent across both. The offices communicated well regarding my records so I didn't have to go through the new patient processes as I thought I would. The facility is nice and clean with a relaxed atmosphere (not some high rise or strip mall setup). Check-ins were convenient and no issues with insurance. My hygienist Lamara brings 20yrs experience to her job. I learned a lot about the best tips and tricks plus she addressed misconceptions I had about dental care. She takes your care seriously and wants to educate you so you can make the best choices. I will have to follow up this review in a few months to see if any improvements were made. The previous Imagix took my dental health up to an A- (from a C) so hopefully Lamara's tips can take this to an A+.

Fantastic experience: EVERYONE in the office was amazing!! I filled out my pre-admission forms online, I am a new patient. I answered the basic questions but they also asked questions specific to my dental and emotional conditions regarding dentist. My blood pressure elevates as soon as I walk into a dentist office (white coat syndrome). They actually read the info and took that into consideration during my entire visit! They were kind, gentle and they really cared enough to put me at ease. NO PAIN AT ALL Y'ALL!! I am actuality excited for my next visit. I can't wait to fix my smile!! And I will post pictures when I'm done!!

Fantastic experience: I was able to schedule an appointment with ease. They were courteous and professional from the receptionist, hygienist all the way up to the doctor. All areas are very clean and comfortable.

Negative experience: I was at the office on the day of my appointment and was the first person there. Two other patients arrived after me; they were seen while I was still waiting. After 45 minutes, someone finally told me, "They will call you soon." You expect to respect your time and even charge the patient for a no-show or cancellation fee, but you don't seem to respect the patients' time. Yes, I was expecting a reply to this review—to call the office manager, which I did four different times, and each time I was told she was in a meeting. I find it hard to believe that a person is in a meeting at four different times during the day.

Negative experience: Office was horrible. Made an appointment online and when I showed up for the appointment I was told that I can't do that. I was told I had to call and make an appointment and then verify that the appointment is available. I asked them why they allowed online appointments to be made and I was told it's a corporate issue. Just endless excuses. Never coming back to this business again.

Negative experience: Front desk personal is horrible! She does not have any knowledge to anyone or anything! First, I was told if I use my credit card (visa or discover) corporate would charge me extra fees. So, it would be best to use my debit card. This is for services I have completed on 2-25-25, a crown. The payment was divided into 3 payments, two payments were made. The third payment is now in collection due to non payment, because I'm having issues with the crown, extreme sensitivity and pain when chewing. This was expressed to her. I ask for the contact number to someone in corporate, she stated that "she does not have a contact number". So, now I'm being charged EXTRA FEES, on top of the original payment. She also, stated she does not know when the "manager" will be in the office at that location. I have been going to this location for YEARS!! I have never had any problems until this location changed companies and staff. The hygienists are great! That's about it!

Negative experience: This dental.office is very unprofessional. Had an appointment made a week in advance, did the extensive paper work online in advance, provided insurance information, my id, list of medication and medical history. All this was done a week before the appointment date. I received a message a day before the appointment to confirm appointment, i did that. The morning of the appointment they sent a text message that the appointment has been canceled and to call the office to reschedule. I called the office only to be that the doctor doesn't see patients on the time slot they gave me. And also I am supposed to call the office after confirming via the text message they sent to confirm via phone. And get this the insurance information they requested and I provided they didn't have time to confirm with the insurance company.

I just got my permanent crown put on and it fits very well, I Was happy with a temporary crown for a couple weeks and now this permanent one.

Negative experience: Unprofessional and dirty. I originally made an appointment online because I needed 2 cavities filled and a filling replaced. They call me the next day to reschedule because if you book online it's only for a basic cleaning. So they rescheduled me with the proper time slot. In other words they blocked off more time for my appointment because I needed so much done. I go in for my appointment at 9 and they take X-rays. They tell me I have no cavities (Great no problem there) but I need a filling replaced. The woman who took my X-ray then comes back with a paper explaining how much it will be to replace the filling, I sign the paper then she tells me I have a cavity in that tooth (after they had already told me I had no cavities)Then they tell me that the hygenist is with another patient and can I wait until 10. They stepped out of the room and I noticed the dead stink bug on the window, and the piles of trash in the corner, as if they swept but instead of picking up the trash they just shoved it in a corner. There were instruments just laying tossed on the counter with sticky notes and god knows what else. It didn't look clean or sterile. The lady comes back and I say yes I'll wait for the doctor because it's only 30 minutes and today is the only day I'm able to get off work. The hygenist doesn't get there until 10:13 and she tells me the doctor doesn't have time to do my filling. Then she rushed through my cleaning it was literally less than 15 minutes. She scraped my teeth for 10 seconds put some flouride and "flossed" my teeth and then I got no toothbrush and baggie at the end. When have you ever been to the dentist and they don't give you a baggy?? I got there at 8:30 (early) waited over an hour for a rushed cleaning and didn't even get the service I made an appointment for. A complete waste of time and I felt like they were rushing me because they had to have double booked or something. I will not be coming back. STAY AWAY
