Positive experience: There were a few people in the office that were nice. I liked Dr Hahn. Tavia was nice. Excel was very nice. The endodontist I saw I believe did a good job on my root canals. Hasn’t been long enough to know yet. My biggest complain about the business is the need to hire a cleaning company. The place could use a good cleaning! Especially the floors & bathroom! But all in all it was better than I thought!

Fantastic experience: Dr Han, Jazz, Elisha, Alycia, Saraee and the entire staff ( sorry there are a few names I do not remember) at Dentists of Buford near the Mall of Georgia are an excellent team . Each member is highly trained and compassionate in the work they perform .The staff at the front desk were friendly, knowledgeable and worked with my insurance to get me the care I needed. Dr Han was kind, friendly, highly skilled and gentle and made sure I understood what I needed to know about my procedure and continued to make sure I was comfortable throughout my time there, I was even given a blanket to keep me warm! The office uses up to date equipment and testing I was never offered before. The staff members doing the CT scan, X-rays and 3D imaging were very thourough and friendly as they got me ready to see Dr Han. Going to the dentist is usually not a fun experience but Dr Han and the entire staff at Dentists of Buford made it pleasant for me. I have already recommended them to some of my family and would recommend them to anyone needing an experienced and friendly dental group.

Negative experience: Make an appointment with Alysha Yoo, Hygienist. Without any notification, they canceled my appointment. After I arrived there, they told me Alysha Yoo, Hygienist is not in the office today. They even don’t want send me a message before or after canceling my appointment!

Dentist of Buford has been kind, cautious, and financially supportive of this whole journey for me. They break down the costs and give you a financial payment plan. Dr. Oh was so reassuring and patient with me. My root canal was PAINLESS and so fast; I’m shocked at the speed this team worked for the root canal and permanent crown placement. The relief I feel is immense. So happy! Big thanks to this team and Dr. Oh!

Negative experience: Do not go here!! Incomplete fillings. Hidden costs. They will lie to you about the prices and force you to get better material then promise no difference in cost and bill your insurance for whatever the difference is. Then if you met your coverage they will bill you again. I paid before treatment and everything was good they then told me I owe 1,500 more than I already paid!!! The filling I went back in and demanded it be fixed they said it wasn’t broken this wasn’t even 24 hours later!! I said I wasn’t leaving until you look again. They X-rayed it and sure enough it wasn’t fully complete the billed me for the X-ray after they made the mistake!!! The filled in root canal after a endo second treatment and my tooth has been hurting since. Horrible place. The staff is nice but I have no idea what is really going on there!

Negative experience: I brought my elderly care client for his appointment. We checked in online before arriving 10 minutes early. They told him not to eat before the appointment. He sat patiently starving in the waiting room for an entire hour after his appointment time while multiple other patients that came in after him were seen first. The ladies at the desk aren’t very friendly at all and the office is dirty especially for a dental practice. While waiting I overheard the office staff and the practitioner gossiping about other clients. Won’t be coming back.

Negative experience: A receptionist was telling me the dental care that I need before I even saw a dentist. She is not qualified and did not look at my teeth. The dentist will take X-rays but not clean your teeth. I will be reporting this to my insurance company.

From the start, Dr. Han and her staff were amazing friendly, and most importantly, trustworthy and affordable. They prioritize patient health by only suggesting necessary work, which I truly value. The office is clean, modern, and having specialists available for complex procedures, like a root canal, makes this my top choice!!

Negative experience: GET A 2ND OPINION if you're told you need dental work!!! I was told I needed TWO root canals (despite ZERO symptoms) and was pressured to schedule appointments/start the work immediately. Thankfully, I held my ground and sought a second opinion where I was informed: - X-Rays from Dentists of Buford took were too blurry to use. - I DIDN'T need ANY root canals. How could this practice even make a diagnosis with x-rays that were unusable?? Dentists of Buford also didn't address a more immediate concern regarding a cavity that needed filling. Oh, and my new dentist didn't charge me for taking another full set of x-rays. They told me I need some work but DID NOT PRESSURE ME. They simply stated what should be addressed most urgently. The staff at Dentists of Buford was extremely nice, but THAT'S HOW THEY'RE ABLE TO PRESSURE PEOPLE! If they were jerks, they wouldn't be able to trick people into paying for services they don't need!

Fantastic experience: Had a first cleaning (and it had been a LONG time for me) with Nancy and she was spectacular! Dr. Han was phenomenal as well! I will definitely be going back to them from here on out.

Fantastic experience: I had a large bump under my lip on my gums that turned out to be an infection. I called the office and they got me in right away for an exam. The office is very advanced—Dr. Han even used a 3D CT scan to show me exactly where the infection was, which gave me total peace of mind. Even better, an Endodontist came directly to the office to treat my tooth, so I didn’t have to go anywhere else. The entire process was seamless, affordable, and stress-free. The team made payment options easy, and I could tell they genuinely cared about me as a patient. Dr. Han only recommended treatment I truly needed—no pressure, no unnecessary upselling. The level of professionalism, technology, and compassion here is unmatched. I’m so happy I found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found my new dentist for life at Dentists of Buford. Dr Han and her team are great. She is very personable and I can tell she truly cares for her patients. The financial ladies are experts at figuring out the costs and for someone like me who doesn’t have dental insurance they made the cost of treatment definitely affordable. Fantastic experience: Dr. Omar was absolutely amazing! He was super thorough. I asked a million questions and he took the time to help me understand everything and feel comfortable. He was incredibly kind and easy to talk to.

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable billing practices. I went in for a procedure that my insurance fully covered and even sent payment for. Despite this, the office charged me out-of-pocket. It took me TWO WEEKS and multiple follow-ups to finally get a refund, and during that time, no one contacted me to explain that insurance had already paid them—I had to figure that out and reach out myself. Now, after all that, they sent me another bill for the same amount! This is either gross incompetence or an intentional attempt to double-charge. Patients shouldn’t have to chase down billing errors just to avoid being overcharged. Be very careful and check your statements if you go here. Look below and you will see the claim statement showing that the services were paid in full ($0) patient responsibility - yet we were charged $295 and after getting our refund, they shortly after billed us again for the same amount.

Negative experience: Dropping down to 1 star from 4: Such a hassle... Just got an email from a debt collector for $60: "Let's settle your Dentists of Buford account for an amount that is less than what you owe to resolve this outstanding balance once and for all. We can offer a settlement of $30.00 which represents a 50% reduction in the amount owed." Old Review: Aiken is very helpful! He is a critical member of this facility. I love his kind tone and positive attitude! Good customer service makes a big difference. Most of the staff are very sweet and kind. My wife had an implant on a front tooth. The gum dentist was excellent, and their medical opinions on how to proceed are genuine. They walked us through the long implant process with great detail. Room for improvement: A piece of tooth was left behind when they removed my wife's wisdom tooth. Another dentist had to dig around for it later and they tried to charge us for the extra work. She was rolled out of the back crying after her wisdom teeth were removed in the winter cold without a jacket. I wish they thought of that, but many Americans don't care about the extra step like preparing a jacket. I didn't know she was going to exit through the back. Dentistry is a difficult practice, and I hope they continue to improve and prosper. Thank you for all the work you did on my wife's teeth. I hope you continue to help others as well. Take care!

Positive experience: My first visit wasn't the best. The receptionist did not have the best welcoming energy. Which could've set the tone for the whole experience.Upon my second interaction with her she took her hand to cover up her name badge as she spoke.Go figure. After getting past her and checking in I finally got called back. Once back in a room I was told I was early. My email notification said one time and the receptionist gave another time over the phone.I found out both were wrong and I was 1hr early. However the hygienist and techs did do a good job with my cleaning and x rays.

Fantastic experience: Kenya is absolutely phenomenal!!! She shows such care and compassion. Explains what she is doing step by step. As a person with a disability, she is able to adapt to my specific needs. My teeth have never felt this clean!!! I’ve been searching for a left handed hygienist my whole life!!! Love, love her! Positive experience: I am a current patient at this dental facility. I had a cleaning on 6-3-25. Before I get into the visit, I would like to say the price quoted for my cleanings are always incorrect :( I was quoted 122.00 for a cleaning, with insurance. I informed the young lady at the front desk that was incorrect, at which she ran my insurance again and said it would be 22.00. While i am grateful she re-ran my insurance, it's a hassle to be quoted incorrectly each time :( . Now on to the cleaning part. My dental hygienist was Nancy. She was very thorough with my cleaning and explained what was going to happen during my cleaning. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will make this my number one place for my dentistry needs. * Update* I recently spoke to Katora ( I apologize if I spell your name incorrectly). Fantastic experience: I have been going to the dentist for a while and they have always taken great care of me. The nice thing about this dentist is they have all of the specialist in house. I have had a root canal and crown put on and had no problems.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been coming to this office for almost 4 years and always have a great experience! Dr Han is a great caring dentist and makes you feel comfortable. The assistants and the front office are very helpful and friendly. It was our son’s first visit when we went about a week ago and he had a great experience as well. Negative experience: The front office staff were courteous and friendly, but when I asked to reschedule an appointment I was charged $100, which in my opinion is absolutely absurd. The scheduling policies are one dimensional and are trap like. Debt collectors are calling me for $100 rescheduling fee which Is being forced while the services i wanted to initially get would have surpassed 1k. Their policies are small minded and money hungry.

Negative experience: SCAM ALERT! The Dentist of Buford told my daughter that she needed 2 crowns and a bunch of other work at a total cost of over 7K! Once I reviewed the treatment plan they wrote, I sent her to my dentist office in Gainesville, Green Street Smiles. This office was honest. She actually needed 3 fillings, and the total without insurance was only $424! What really made me ANGRY was the fact that they had no issues with breaking down 2 of her teeth to place crowns unnecessarily! She is only 21. She would end up having to replace them by her 40s! I am furious with this office. Do not trust them!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of this place! The staff was absolutely amazing and they took extremely good care of me. It has been a while since I had a routine check up but Dr. Han and her staff made the process seem less. I can't praise Stephanie, Nancy, Dr. Yu, and Mia enough! You can tell she’s a perfectionist—she paid attention to every little detail and made sure everything was done just right. Negative experience: I believe Akin J the finance guy just makes prices up. Quoted me one price; get there for procedure, it's $500+ more. This is not the first time. NEVER AGAIN IN THIS PLACE! Dental board should investigate this place! They're overbilling. I thought someone said Akin was the manager too. You have GOT TO BE JOKING! Scammers. BEWARE PEOPLE!!!

Negative experience: I am not usually one to leave bad reviews but this place is just down right and flat out terrible. I had 3 separate appointments all in which it took forever to get me back into a room, forever to be seen and worked on. I have never been to a dentist so slow and that makes you wait 45 minutes to an hour to be even taken back to a room. Everyone here seemed like they weren’t very confident in their work. I was told I needed a root canal, got priced out on one and was immediately pressed for the billing department to come see me and up sell me. The gentleman came in and automatically started showing the “ finance “ options they had but never clarified that it is a credit card. The dentist seems like pressured me into prepping the tooth for the future root canal by grinding it down and putting on a temporary crown. I have been charged for the whole visit for the root canal procedure but I didn’t get the procedure done because of my lack of confidence in their staff and time management of the office. I walked out on my last visit because I already have had over 5 hours tied up over there by my 3rd visit and all I have had done by this point is x-ray, temporary crown and a cleaning. After expressing my frustration with the office they have still requested that I just give them one more chance and to book an early appointment to maybe not have such a long wait and or just to drive to the other location 45 minutes away to maybe have a better experience.

Negative experience: I’m going to be completely honest here, I’ve visited Dentists of Buford multiple times for regular cleanings. I’ve had no issues with the personalities or attitudes of anyone who works there, in fact, they’ve been nothing but kind to me. However, they have been very slow moving each time I’ve been there. This last visit was just this afternoon, and I waited a full hour past my scheduled appointment time without being seen by the dentist. I did have my x rays taken and was brought into the room where my cleaning would take place, but even that was after 30 minutes past my appointment time. I’m a patient person, I’m also a service provider at my own job, so I know it can be complicated SOMETIMES to stay on schedule perfectly. However, this slow pace has been my experience with each visit I’ve had here. I unfortunately will be visiting another office from now on.

Negative experience: I usually don't leave reviews but my last visit here was so awful, I felt the need to inform everyone about my experience. I had a visit scheduled weeks in advanced for a tooth crown and a few cavities. I was informed that the price of my visit would be around $725, and I confirmed that price multiple times with the phone operator. Finally comes the day of the visit, which started on a sour note, as I drove around the lot for nearly 20 minutes looking for a parking spot. I can in having already done my check-in online, to which when I entered, one of the workers, Akin Jawando, pulled me aside to talk about the price. And I informed him, I already knew the price, but he told me that the actual price would be $950. I asked for clarification as I was confused about the $225 price increase from all the conversations I had with the operator. Akin laid out my insurance plan and how much would be covered by the insurance company, which would have been nice if that was done from the beginning. How come on the 3 separate phone calls I had with Dentists of Buford the operators all informed me of the same incorrect price, but when I come in-person there is a completely different price? When I asked to speak to the manager, turns out Akin Jawando was the manager all along, who supports and promotes incompetence. I was disgruntled by the fact that I was lied to on multiple occasions by Akin, his staff, and people of support the incompetence of Akin Jawando. I mostly enjoyed my experiences here before this, but this really tainted my overall experience with the Dentists of Buford. Be very careful with who you choose to be all up in your mouth, you wouldn't want liars in there would you?

Fantastic experience: Stephanie has the best bedside manners of any dental assistant I’ve ever experienced. She was very gentle and thoughtful to make sure that I was in no pain or discomfort.

Negative experience: Made an appointment to see the Endodontist about a root canal. Waited a week for the appointment. Filled out all the paperwork. Was there 15 minutes before my appointment as they requested and waited a full 45 minutes till I was seen. The hygienist then showed up to clean my teeth. I said I was here about a root canal consultation. Then a regular dentist came in and said the endodontist won’t be in for 2weeks . I was told the in network price was going to be higher because they had some additional treatments that might be needed and they would not drill through my crown and I would also need a new one. I felt like it was a used car lot and they tried every trick to jack up the price. I ended up at a different place where I was charged the correct price and no new crown. I feel like it was a complete waste of time going there.

Fantastic experience: Kenya made my experience absolutely wonderful!! I’m usually squeamish even when it comes to cleanings, however she was very gentle so I was very calm. Highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Kenya was awesome and explained everything she was doing and gave me great insight on what's going on with my nephew's teeth. This facility is clean, professional and it's a very soothing environment. Thank you, I will continue to return.

Negative experience: Wow, this is the worst dental place I’ve been to, and I’m glad I won’t be spending my money here since I was sent back after I got there for my new patient appt. Not only they messed up the appointment time (system schedule versus text message sent), the front desk woman has an attitude! Very unprofessional!

Positive experience: Edit: Tavia save the rating! She is so sweet and helpful. Original: Said I had a filling when I didn’t back in 2022 though I heard the dentist say I needed to come back due to it being so sensitive after a tooth pulled a few days prior. Desk lady said it had been done and paid for so wouldn’t schedule it for me. Fast forward and turns out I was correct. It wasn’t filled. Called for an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth and to have three filling done that I paid for. Dude who called me kept sucking his teeth and breathing heavily into the phone. Worst customer service I have received. Just rude and kept telling me to call Aetna when Aetna is who gave me their info because their “DMO roster is full” yet Aetna has it that 2 of their dentist are accepting DMO patients. He said if I have PPO like before then no issues. Can do emergency work without insurance as I await what insurance my husband has. He wouldn’t even talk to me about coming in still for the filling I already paid for on a PPO as he said I couldn’t come in with the DMO unless my husband has a PPO. My new job only offers DMO. Guess I need to make a phone call to get the work I already paid for done and cover anything else related to that work not being done.

Negative experience: The dentist and hygienists are great. They’re kind and take care of you. However, the front desk is rude. They made me pay for my cleaning when I have insurance. They said because I have deductible. Cleaning is a preventative care, which doesn’t apply to the deductible. I even called my insurance to verified and they said I don’t pay for cleaning! None of my colleagues pay for cleaning with the same dental insurance. Front desk said no, I have a deductible, and refused to refund. She was so rude and have a major attitude. No customer service at all. I stopped going after that. I found myself a new office where everyone was nice and knowledgeable, including the front desk. Who said I don’t pay for cleaning with my insurance plan as that is part of preventative care.

Fantastic experience: Dentists of Buford is great. They make the trip of going to the dentist quite pleasant. In fact, I literally drive an hr to go to this location. Special shout out to Dr. Han who is always really great about making sure you’re comfortable & being honest with you. Another special shout out to Amy who’s as sweet as strawberry wine. I definitely will be returning !!!

Fantastic experience: Had all my 4 wisdoms teeth taken out. They were so calm and patient before the surgery, really made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The recovery process went very smoothly. I had no complications and in only 2 days I was back at work with very minimal swelling. I took very good care at home but I also know that for it to had been that easy they seriously have a great surgeon with great hands. Would recommend getting any procedure here 100%

Positive experience: I’ve always loved the doctors at this office, but unfortunately, the receptionist’s attitude has made my experience very unpleasant. She is extremely rude and disrespectful, with an unprofessional tone that makes people not want to come back. I initially tried to schedule an appointment 10/21/2024, but after one conversation with her, I decided to hold off. I called again the next day 10/22/24 at 9:30am, hoping for a better experience, but it was the same lady with the same attitude. It’s disappointing because the doctors are great, but the receptionist’s poor customer service leaves a bad impression. I hope the office addresses this issue.

Fantastic experience: My inner cheek is sore because the hygienist let the suction pull on my skin. I told her i could hold it but she insisted it needed to be stay in my mouth. I did not argue with her because I've always held it but we wont let it damage my cheek again. If possible i would like to have my previous hygienist on my future visits. Everything else was fine with my visit. . Thx.

Akin Jawando was excellent in explaining my financial obligations in detail. I appreciated how he took time to go through the paperwork and allow me time to ask questions. Fantastic experience: Let’s just say I was the patient you just didn’t want to see today. I complained about everything from the time I walked in the door. I was asked to pay a ridiculous high bill before service was even rendered. I refused. They politely dealt with my refusal. I complained about having to come back 3 times for a tooth that wasn’t even bothering me. I was quite annoyed. Everyone I encountered made sure I was comfortable for my visit. Everyone was very professional and I felt like they cared or at least understood how I felt. I would like to thank Kianna, Kim, Audrey, Dr Cho, and Dr Hans for a great experience. I highly recommend this office. I was completely satisfied when I left.

Negative experience: This has been the worst experience ever. I don’t know what happened to the front office staff. I have been a patient since they opened in 2018. I was one of the first patients in that dental office when the first office manager walked through plazas to obtain patients for the opening. Many chances in office managers, receptionists and other staff members throughout the years. I called on July 9th and asked if there were any cancellations for the upcoming Fridays in July (12th, 19th and 26th). I was told by a male at the front desk via telephone that there was an opening at 8:00am on Friday morning on July 19th. I was told by the male that he scheduled me for that day and time. “GREAT!” So I thought….Fast forward to that day, I was late for work thinking that my dental appointment was secured. I arrived at the office, when I was told by a male at the front desk that I was not put on the schedule for the day. Great job Dentist of Buford (sarcasm) for dropping that ball. I will start going to another dental office that knows how to multitask setting up an appointment via telephone and does not lie to a patient on the phone wasting their time.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is never anyone's favorite experience. The group at the dentists of budord create a peaceful atmosphere, relaxing ones anxieties at the door. The energy flows into the exam/procedure rooms where the attendants and dentists do their best to make sure you are comfortable every step of the way and that the experience is painless as possible. In this particular visit, we had scheduled a procedure, and that was to be it, I was looking forward to getting it over with! However, upon further inspection, a follow-up visit would be required. I was upset. I had been working with the office to restore my smile, and after what felt like so many visits, I let my emotions get the best of me. Don't get me wrong, I found the results upsetting, not the work. I'd rather it be done right, and these guys have been nothing short of professional! I attempted to gather myself, noticing my state, lead DA Milik asked if I was alright. I explained my frustrations, and he listened and provided a comforting response, effortlessly lightening the conversation, alleviating my fears, and refocusing my attention on the goal. I appreciated the interaction as it made the overall experience feel personable rather than a product. Concreting my belief that this is the place to be to achieve your dental goals! The work they have accomplished thus far has been astounding, and I'm forever grateful to Dr. Hann and her team, they are amazing! Special thanks to DA Milik, your kind heart shines bright.
