Fantastic experience: They were very nice. The ladies as we walked in, were very cordial and nice to speak to. They helped my mom fill out her paperwork. The dentist also was very nice and helping my mom with her abscess tooth and they gave her the medicine and she’s doing great and I would go back again or she said she would go back again.

Positive experience: I like the staff and work done but seemed to be taken advantage of a little on the price of teeth cleaning it was as much as my crown. I will go back for dental work but will get my cleanings elsewhere.

Negative experience: Most of the staff was professional, but some lacked empathy and care. Furthermore, I did not like the open room concept. I’m not sure how that is HIPAA compliant as I could clearly see other patients information displayed on their screens in the room from the place they were scanning my mouth from. I’m sure my information was also out in full display for other patients to see due to the layout. I do see other reviews on here saying they try to scam you and I fully agree. I went in for a dental emergency and they quoted me for other things and were trying to have me pay $10,000 in advance for services that were not even going to be addressed on that visit or even scheduled yet. It seemed like they were definitely trying to scam me, as I kept asking to please just address my dental emergency first. The lack of care and empathy is why I won’t be coming back.

Negative experience: Stay away from this dentist. I went to get my tooth extracted they charged my insurance $1900 and billed me $490. They took advantage of me during an emergency. Also they did a lot of unnecessary X-rays. Be careful. Since I told them I had my own dentist the office manager forced me to pay for a X-ray to prove that they did the work. I am verifying every charge with my insurance and if any of the charges was for work that was not done I am filing a police report. They try to get you to get a line of credit even after I said no they sent two more people and the office manager three times to try to convince me to get the line of credit to get work done. They told me I needed all this stuff my dentist said I didn’t need. Stay away they are crooks and the office manager can’t be trusted. Check your insurance policy’s bc they are charging ridiculous amounts. I never had anyone charge my dental insurance for $1900 to remove a tooth or had to pay $490 out of pocket.

Negative experience: Terrible service, my worst experience ever. My orthodontic treatment dragged on for five years due to sheer negligence; they certainly don't leave you with the results you expect. They are quick to take your money for any service and quick to rope you in but when it comes to issuing a refund or offering assistance, they go into hiding.

Fantastic experience: Cerritos Dentist has highly respected employees who are attentive to their customers. The dentist has very well-respected employees who are very attentive to their customers. The place is very clean, and the appointments are set on time. We do not have to wait. No more than five minutes. They are very prompt with their scheduling. The dentist and hygienist are very gentle; well, the cleaning process is recommended for everyone. A+

Negative experience: Unethical business practices. If you want to feel scammed and taken advantage of come here. I recently moved and came across this dental office on yelp. The business had great reviews so I figured I would give them a try. I went to have my remaining 2 wisdom teeth pulled. I had my other 2 removed a couple of years ago (at A Plus Cosmetic Dentistry in Los Angeles -highly recommend) and just didn't decide to remove the other 2 until they recently started bothering me. Any who, I go to Dentist of Cerritos and they came off like used car salesmen. They made me feel like they did not truly care about my health or doing what was necessary; Their primary focus here is to upsell! The sales representative in reception told me it would be mandatory for them to add bone graft to my wisdom tooth area post removal. She told me that even if it was against my religious belief that if I refused the bone graft then they would refuse to remove my wisdom teeth. (I did not get her name but I recognize her in the pictures they posted and have attached) Keep in mind I had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed at my previous dental office and they healed perfectly fine without any foreign bone graft! For them to refuse removing my wisdom teeth regardless of the pain they were causing me unless I agreed to their $1,100 out of pocket upsell (I have a PPO and they were billing my insurance $1,100 as well) is unethical. They also attempted to force an unnecessary $400 fluoride treatment on me as well. I will never come back and places like this deserve to go out of business. I expect behavior like this from a used car dealership not professionals in the medical field. In other news, I got my wisdom teeth removed today for $0 out of pocket today at A Plus Cosmetic Dentistry by Dr. Pirouz, highly recommend if you are willing to drive to the Los Angeles area. I also recommend Dr. E at Orange County dental (I only stopped going to him because I moved). Dr. Pirouz and Dr. E are the golden standard of what Dentists should be! They are honest, kind, knowledgeable and exceptional at what they do. If you don't mind being scammed and taken advantage of, stick with Dentist of Cerritos. Hopefully they change their shady business practices or go out of business.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with this dental office in my entire life. I had a traumatizing experience at a previous dentist and was terrified to have any procedures done. When I got the news I needed a root canal, my heart just sank, as my expectation was that it would be a terrible experience. From the second I walked in for my initial visit, they made me feel right at home. Dr. Kim took everything I said to heart and put my mind totally at ease. As the root canal needed to be done with their endodontist, he ensured me she was the best of the best. I can confidently say that he was absolutely correct. I just had my root canal done by Dr. Pruss. I was very nervous beforehand considering my previous issues getting numb and the severity of a root canal. From the time I sat down, she explained that she would talk me through the entire procedure, stop if I needed anything at all, even just a break, told me when I’d hear noise, when I’d experience pressure, etc. I felt literally zero pain. I didn’t even feel the local injections at all! From start to finish, the root canal process took 30 minutes. This has single handedly changed my view of dentists and endodontists, and I will never go to any other Dental Office. Thank you to Dr. Kim, Dr. Pruss, Giuvia, and the rest of amazing staff. You are truly amazing.

Fantastic experience: Came in today to finalize my Root canal for my tooth earlier this month. I will say that the staff here was amazing! They always made sure I was okay and good to go before proceeding with what they were gonna do. Means a lot for me since I had a terrible experience years ago at a different dental office. Dr. Kim was awesome, and made sure I was good throughout the whole process throughout this whole month of getting the root canal done. Thanks again guys!! :) and I most def found my new dental office family!

Fantastic experience: My dental assistant Jackie was super sweet and very well skilled. She is definitely amazing at her job and wonderful bedside manners. Dr Kim was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Great team overall. Front desk ladies are also amazing. Office space was modern, chic and clean.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going to a dentist in years and staff was so nice and welcoming. They all made me feel very comfortable. They were also able to work with me on payment plans with the work I need done. If you you’re looking for dentist I highly recommend this place! 10/10

Negative experience: The office manager is a crook. I went in with my daughter to get a free consultation for braces. The manager opened up a credit card under my name and charged the full cost of braces for my daughter. I never agreed to opening up this credit card. She fraudulently told me that it was called credit care, and it ended up being Alpheaon to which I immediately said no to. Those are two completely different types of credit cards that are accepted by dentist office. I found out she opened up the credit card over a month later when I received a statement, I called them immediately and said why did you charge $6K, the cost of the braces, to this card? I never agreed to get the braces from your office. I went in for a free consultation and instead got charged the entire amount on a credit card that I never opened. After I disputed it, they ended up refunding the card partially and told me I had to pay $1500 for the consultation fee of braces. This is a complete scam. You go in for a free consultation and then you come out getting charged $1500 And you never even saw the dentist. The only person we spoke to was a young girl who was taking x-rays and the other young girl who’s the office manage. Do not trust this office.

Negative experience: Bad experience with rude assistants. Would not recommend visiting this place. Doctor was great, front desk was great. But i visited to treat a minor medical emergency involving a permanent retainer breaking in my mouth, resulting in a metal wire poking me in the tongue. At one point while seated in the dentist room I was crying because it was hard for me to answer and questions without the pain of being poked in the tongue by the wire. And the dentist assistant (a young latino man) started openly laughing at me. You are supposed to be able to trust the people you are paying hundreds of dollars for medical care, and their behavior does not inspire trust or create a safe environment.

Fantastic experience: Top notch team and technology. I was looking for a dentist due to a dental emergency because my dentist office was closed, that is how I found Dentist of Cerritos. Cruz at the reception desk was Amazing! I walked in already anxious from being overcharged at another dentist by hundreds, so I wasn't the most trusting or easy person to work with, but she was able to turn that around. She took her time to look into my account and literally told me she understood my concerns. With her demeanor, she was able to make me feel welcome and at ease. I also have to give a shoutout to the finance manager who very kindly addressed every one of my concerns. She worked with me, and I felt that I could trust what she told me. I went back to my original dentist of 10+ yrs. I only left for a short period because I realized they were out of network. Ever since, I had nothing but bad experiences until this dental visit. If I ever need to change dentist, I would go here hands down. They have tools I have never seen before, staff who is kind and courteous, and their dentist seemed very knowledgeable and addressed all of my questions. If your looking for a dental team you can stick with, I Very much recommend this office :) **When you find a good dentist, stick with them, trust me. That extra 10% you save for "in network", will be paid ten fold in inflated fees and unnecessary procedures.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist/orthodontist online and found Dentist of Cerritos. Their online reviews were great, and well deserved! I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and I was a little anxious, but the vibe in the office immediately put me at ease. The office staff is first rate; the receptionist was professional and welcoming. My dental assistant, Alexis, was amazing. He explained each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, I felt very well taken care of. My hygienist was great as was the young lady who helped me with paperwork, (I'm sorry, I can't remember their names). I never felt rushed; they listened whenever I had a question, and everyone was refreshingly knowledgeable. Dr. Travis was awesome and so nice and did a beautiful job on my filling. I absolutely recommend Dentist of Cerritos, they're the best!

Fantastic experience: First visit. Very impressed from time of walk-in, the welcoming of the young lady at the front desk, overall atmosphere and appearance of the office lobby was very refreshing. Everyone was very friendly . The young man who took my X-rays, the young man who did the oral X-rays, the doctor, the hygienist were all exceptional! I loved how thorough everything was explained to both my husband and I. I look forward to our continued services.

Fantastic experience: Had a consultation for my son about getting braces. There was a short wait, staff was great, they have high technology that makes everything quick and easy. Glad we found this place! Makes me want to put braces on everyone in the house haha.

Negative experience: It’s a clean facility with modern technology, but very much a corporate dentist office that is really just about sales and money more than the patient. They push orthodontist sales hard to get that sale before really communicating with the doctors. Also, the office staff and doctors don’t seem to be on the same page. They are always very overbooked and likely saving room for consultations for new sales, so if you are receiving treatment for metal braces, you will never really be able to see the doctor every 4 weeks and they will ALWAYS tell you nothing is available for at least 6 weeks, possibly 8 if they can get you to go for it without pushing back. This without a doubt prolongs ortho treatment due to less frequent adjustments. Don’t even think about needing to reschedule, because you will likely have to wait another 4-6 weeks to be seen. The office staff comes off polite (until they are not) but the politeness seems very superficial, like they are always trying to hustle you. It’s unfortunate I have to write this and will have to continue to show up for treatment, as I’m contractually stuck or I would have found a new office, because I definitely looked into it. I also wasn’t even going to review because I do need my treatment finished , but they keep texting me for a review, so yeah… Anyway, I would not recommend.

Negative experience: They took the pics of my son teeth.and they left him alone and make him wait for hours before someone show up.This place need a better management.The wait time is ridiculous for an ortho consultation.It took 1 hour and half to get to talked the billing specialist .we have an appointment for 3pm .I didn’t go until 3:30pm to see them.Then it take 1 hour and half to talked to them.that’s unacceptable .They need better training for the front staffs and the billing department .Management need to trained the staff.

Negative experience: 6/4/25 , I had a 4:30 schedule appointment. I left work early to drive over 90 minutes to get a deep cleaning . I patiently waited in the waiting room. Then I waited in the exam room, where I took a nap. Dr. Cybul came to examine my teeth. Afterwards, he said, it will be a minute someone will be in for your cleaning. Maybe 30 minutes later, a staff tells me to go to Bianca. A talk with Bianca means she wants to sell me a service. WORK THAT WE HAVE DISCUSSED THAT I HAD PLANNED TO DO THERE IN FEBRUARY! I tell her I do not care to discuss that again, I just want my cleaning. By now it is 7:08 and she tells me I'm not getting my cleaning today. She asked would you like to reschedule. Hell no! Goodbye! That was very disrespectful! A waste of my time personal time on the books, my gas and my time in general. This is routine for this dental office. I had enough.

Negative experience: Bad experience. Called for a routine cleaning since it has been 2 years since the last time I went to see a dentist. I am insured & they recommended/quoted me a deep cleaning + anesthesia that rounded up to $2200. The lady in the office who went over the charges did not hesitate to ask me how “good” my credit was lol I didn’t push back or refuse I basically was curious to see where this was going to end up, so she recommended I apply for credit for a care card & through Affirm. Never in my life have I ever experienced this type of practice at a Dental office. Like I mentioned, I do have dental insurance but that didn’t seem to matter. Basically all comes down to how much $$$ they can squeeze out of you. 0/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: I first encountered the office when my son who is on the spectrum had a dental emergency. Upon calling I spoke with the a very warm and calm woman. She got my son in the same day to see Dr. Trista. My son who was in so much pain at the time was uncontrollably crying and screaming and Cruz and Eli calmed him down even took us out for a breath of fresh air and got my son to calm down enough to do a basic evaluation of what was going on. My son did need pediatric specialists as well as anesthesia and they referred me to one while in office and set him up for an appointment within 45 min close by. I am so very grateful for how special they made my son feel and how calming and empathetic and compassionate they were to our gentle state at that time. Because of this experience and also them calling to follow up with me after made me choose to change all 3 of my children’s dental care to Dr. Tristan. They have gone back multiple times now and the kids love it.

Fantastic experience: I am going through a lot with my teeth. Not having the proper dentists educate me on what happens if you don’t receive the proper oral care will result in losing your teeth. For the first time in years and I’m saying YEARS, this dentist, from the time I walked in this facility, gave me FIRST CLASS service. The beautiful young ladies at the front counter were professional and genuinely polite. If they needed confidential information from me, they go up and came to me to whisper their requests. I walked in timely and they gave me a full service examination. The dentist went over the X-rays and explain to me about my grave situation concerning my teeth and went over every tooth. EVERY TOOTH!!! The ones I can keep and the ones that I’ll need to make a necklace and matching bracelet. (Which I plan to do!). And just when I thought I was out of there, they sent in a hygienist to check my gums and I was educated about the dangers of not brushing every twelve hours and given a short talk on the danger of plaque. Finally, the young person that went over the financing gave me several options and found someone that would finance part of the procedure. Talk about first class treatment. I highly recommend Orthodontist of Cerritos. I’m telling you especially if you want to preserve your teeth and have the smile that will light up rooms. I’m sorry I didn’t seek them earlier in my life. They are the extreme best and I mean EXTREME BEST when it comes to oral care.

Fantastic experience: The doctor and the hygienist are great I been going to them for 3 years i had work done there my cleaning - deep cleaning cavities. Bone graft on my front teeth 2 teeth were falling off they put bone graft on them to hold them in place. Can not complain everywhere you go is almost the same price so try to work with them if you thing is too much tell them fat cat send you thanks to Marisol and Celeste Also tell them if bone graft is good for you on the front teeth. I am careful what I eat not everyone is the same

Fantastic experience: “I hate the Dentist” a phrase all too common in our culture. However there comes an exception and this is it. From all 3 phases, phone etiquette, documentation and procedural execution, 11/10. Same day emergency visit and the ladies up from Ana and Cruise ensured all my paperwork was in order and I understood all the intricacies. Then passed off to Alexis and Dr. Tristian, who were precise and intentional with every action thereafter. Extraction complete without a hitch and left me satisfied and smiling. If you need a dentist look no further, don’t get frustrated, get fixed.

New to Cerritos dental office, hands down my experiences and with my family have been comforting. Negative experience: Don’t get tricked by their friendly staff; they’ll rip you off with procedures and big credit bills that will kill your pockets later on. Brought my son to get scanned, and later, the ortho and sales person got us into a package of 6.5k that was not even or supposed to get done in the first place because their surgeon found out the teeth are still not fully grown. The sales person brought us into delaying the cancellation of the package that was in the first place, which should not have taken off - it seems that the ortho and surgeon did not communicate properly about the procedure or status of the patient - so be careful in dealing with this clinic or just find another clinic that will not rip you off with their fancy certificates on display.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing first visit. I am very picky and particular about Dental Care and where I go. I Googled dental places near me and this place came up. I look at pictures and reviews and walked in the same day. Everyone was so friendly, friendly and their customer service was amazing. I will be going back!

Negative experience: I will not recommend this place at all. They did the whole treatment in my mouth put crowns unnecessarily. They didn’t treat my root canal before I’ve been having a nightmare this more than one year every time I go there all they care is about money not about so your problem you have no guarantees with this place. Fantastic experience: I came across this dentist when looking for an emergency dentist that was opened on a Saturday. They were able to see my mom right away. Staff were very welcoming the moment we left walked in.I also want to give special thank you to Marisol who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I appreciated how honest they were with us. They also offered options that were more cost efficient and explained everything throughly with us.

Negative experience: If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Today was my first time coming in with a lot of pain from my wisdom tooth and I only came here because my original dentists is closed today. However, the dentist would not extract my tooth without additional charges of bone graft and gel foam which is unnecessary. Very disappointed and my tooth still hurts. Absolute waste of my time thanks for nothing the dentists here only care about the money and not actual patients. You suck dentists of Cerritos!!

Fantastic experience: I was visiting family in Cerritos and had an unfortunate tooth accident and tried the Dentist of Cerritos on South St. I have never been more impressed with a medical/dental facility. Thoroughly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Kudos to Cruz at the front desk, Rodriguez who did the fix and Dr Kim who oversaw it. Could not recommend this office more. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dentist of Cerritos! I had my first visit last Friday, and I was very nervous but the team there is very friendly and professional. The front desk was very welcoming when I came in to secure a walk-in appointment. Later, Ana was the one to help me check-in and then set up the follow-up appointments afterward. And big thanks to Marisol! I don’t have dental insurance, but she helped me find the best payment plan/option available for me. Beyond being incredibly patient and kind, she made me feel at ease in general with my questions/concerns. Dr. Tristan and his assistants were all great, and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I had a general check-up, followed by fillings the same day. I’ve put off visiting the dentist for various reasons, but I came out of Dentist of Cerritos feeling reassured about getting back on track with my oral health.

Negative experience: It was the worst experience I have ever had with an orthodontist. Took my son, and I wasted 2k. Ended up getting my son's work somewhere else. I paid 5k up front for services. After a week or two appointments (initial set up and a referral to have tooth removed), i tried to cancel services. At first, staff was trying to keep all my money. After many emails and contacting a lawyer, their office said they would only refund if I signed an NDA. I refused and contacted the dental board (complaint is in process). Not until all this was the rest of my money returned. I would suggest any other office in Cerritos. I went somewhere else and was so happy for it. Would not recommend for you family and loved one.

Negative experience: We did not receive help here. I called to make my child an appointment and I told the receptionist the situation, including my sons age and waited an hour before getting called and the dentist saw my son briefly and said he will be back with the tools he needs and never came back and the assistant came in asking if we have been told anything and she follows up saying they don’t have the tools they need for my sons age so to go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! The staff is warm and makes you feel completely at ease. Dr. Triston is thorough and clear in answering any of my questions, and the hygienist and orthodontist are both incredibly skilled and pleasant. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Trishton was very gentle with numbing, as he removed an old cap from my molar and cleaned up a cavity. I didn't feel a pinch, no pain, and he performs very good work. He's very polite with his patients and staff. The front desk staff are all very nice and value their patients. I'm very satisfied with the quality of service that I received.

Negative experience: Staff friendly all of them Pricing was something else, I have one of the best PPO insurances however my co-pays were up on the sky, it was my first consultation at this place and immediately knew something was wrong, I left got my self a second opinion with another dentist in the area they were also very friendly and the prices for wisdom tooth extraction and a crown were 85% less, I don’t like places when they literally want to take advantage of you, no not today!
