Fantastic experience: I had a tooth pulled and an implant inserted. I was a bit nervous about possible pain. There was no pain. Dr. Shayan is very chill and down to earth. He knows what he is doing and does so in a calming way. His staff is very kind and professional and the office is run very efficiently. My only suggestion is for more explaining of the steps as the procedure is taking place. (I could have/should have asked more questions...) All in all, I am very pleased with Dr. Shayan and his office.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family have been going here for 8+ years. We see Dr. Shyan 1x year and get cleanings every 6 mos. The dental tech has been there forever and she is very thorough and efficient- always on time and done in about 30 min. Dentist is great - we haven’t needed any work done like filings, root canals, teeth pulled, etc. I told him about tooth sensitivity and possible receding gum issue and he suggested Sensydine toothpaste instead of some expensive treatment and that did the trick. I highly recommend him — he is honest and straight forward and doesn’t try to rip you off like other dental chains.

Fantastic experience: DENTAL IMPLANTS!!!! For years I had seen advertisements for implants from Cypress Dental Group but I didn't need them then. Now I need 3. I came here for a second opinion. Dr. Shayan gave me a lower quote for 3 implants instead of 2 implants with a bridge with a crown. They also had time to clean my teeth after the estimate. The hygienist is very nice and has been there for a long time. His assistants and girls at the front desk are also very nice and accommodating. I've now had 1 broken tooth extracted & the prep for the implants. I only had a little discomfort and only had to take 1 of the Tylenol that was prescribed. It's been 2 weeks and I had my stitches removed today. I go back in 6 weeks. So far I'm very pleased with Dr.Shayan and his staff. I will update after completed.

Negative experience: I beg anyone to not come here at all. I came here my last time, and I got manipulated and scammed with my teeth. I was young annd the dentist went through different “nurses” every single week #1. I feel like the dentist took advantage of me not knowing what a “crown” meant as he didn’t explain in dept at all and I was young. I just wanted a filling for a tiny chip. Soon after I had a panic attack from how he numbed my tooth extremely aggressive and no numbing gel, and how afterwards he shaved my other 2 teeth with no warning or anything all because my crown didn’t fit. and I currently have been living with traumatic flashbacks from the pain of how I currently still cannot chew and have extreme sensitivities to flossing and eating or chewing on my 3 front teeth. Another thing is the girl who did my tooth, both of them did not know what she was doing, and the first one with my temporary crown had gave me so much cement wrong that I swallowed it (noticeably on my tooth) and I got very sick from it which I didn’t understand until I tasted the “temporary paste”. When I finally got my permanent crown, the new nurse had dropped my crown on the floor!!! This place needs to go out of business and. I had to file a grievance but it will not save me my trauma and what I currently have to be stuck with in expenses now ! And the last thing is when I have called to make an appointment, the front lady desk has a disrespectful tone!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Cypress Dental Group for a cleaning. The procedure was executed by Diem, who did some of the best cleaning I have experienced.

Fantastic experience: I had my appointment right away, I was surprised because as a Medicare recipient it take a month . The cleaning was amazing and the doctor is friendly and caring, I just made an appointment to my daughter to starting going to this office.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. They are fast, friendly, efficient and competent along with being cost effective. I found the office, warm and inviting and they had one day service from consulting on my tooth implant to actually getting it installed same day, I was SOOO impressed!! Dr Shayan is a credit to his profession, he was friendly yet precise and his all female team was friendly and competent too. Dr Shayan listened to my concern about my physical sensitivity and history with dental pain and took immediate measures to reassure me and be cautious while proceeding with my implant. I made the HUGE (male) mistake of not following his guidance and taking pain meds after the local wore off. I had to resort to back up medication in my med cabinet. I called to let them know MY mistake, and they promptly sent in a prescription for pain meds. Lessons learned, lessons earned. That all said, I would highly recommend the Cypress Dental group for all your dental needs!! :)

Dr. Shayan is extremely confident, professional, compassionate, empathetic and dedicated, not only to his craft, to his clients. I recently had two teeth removed while my wife had a new bridge. We were both blown away with the care, comfort and compassion given by Dr. Shayan and his staff. We come up from South Laguna Beach the drive is worth it. Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Dr. Shayan regularly the past 9 years and his team has continued to impress me time after time. The hygienists are super thorough but gentle and take their time cleaning your teeth switching tools as needed, not like other cleanings I've had elsewhere where they clean and polish in under 10 minutes. He's also honest, straightforward and doesn't do unnecessary work.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Cypress Dental Group since before Dr. Shayan acquired the practice 20+ years ago. The previous dentist was great. Dr. Shayan is absolutely Fantastic! He has been amazing to me and my family. His kindness, his amazing expertise and quick response to anything dental is why I would never go anywhere else. I am truly amazed at how well he gets to know his patients. And once you’re part of the Cypress Dental Group family he and his amazing team will move heaven and earth to work with you. Example: 10+ years ago my daughter’s wisdom started to bother her and became infected. We hit a rough patch and had no insurance and not much money, so I called to ask how much to have them extracted. I was given an amount, even though we couldn’t really afford it I made the appointment. Dr. Shayan must have heard the hesitation in my voice when he talked to me on the phone, Yes! The Doctor answers the phone. After the appointment he refused to take payment. Yes, he could probably write it off or whatever, but for a struggling family, it was an absolute blessing. I would Highly recommend Dr. Shayan and his amazing team to anyone who is looking for an Amazing Dentist. You can’t go wrong with Cypress Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: I first walked into Cypress Dental in 2022 with many problems. Dr. Shayan repaired my teeth rather than replacing them. Dr. Shayan does excellent work and always makes sure that you are comfortable. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: My first time there, had my teeth cleaned by the dental hygienist who was very good, then some X-rays and what I came in for I thought was a loose porcelain cap turned out to be a loose tooth. I was given my two options by Dr. Shayan, a fixed bridge or a dental implant, I had to think it over since implants are not covered by insurance and weigh the ptos & cons of either procedure. Other than that I would recommend this dental facility, very nice environment and great staff.

The dentist is always in a up beat mood and has an excellent personality. His education from USC School of Dentistry is an A+. Also, clean floors, walls and surroundings. Parking is good. Our family have been receiving dental treatments from this clinic for over 10 years now and we are always very satisfied. Recently I have gone through the process of receiving full mouth implants and I have to say that although I was very concerned at first, Dr Shayan and his team have made the process very bearable. This is an intricate treatment that requires a great amount of dexterity on the part of the performing dentist; in this regard Dr Shayan acquitted himself admirably and I am very grateful for that. The final result makes it worth the wait, as the process takes a few months, mostly for healing. All in all I am very appreciative of the efforts and patience by the whole team for this life changing procedure. Thank you Cypress Dental! UPDATE: I have had my new teeth now for approximately 6 months and I couldn't be happier or more satisfied. This procedure has changed my life. Thank you again Dr Shayan and the team!

Fantastic experience: My experience with this Dentist could not have been better. Every other quote I got was more than double what doctor SHAYAN quoted me. His work was perfect and he was very kind and gentle. I had a Tooth extraction, and an implant. I was extremely happy with his assistant and his expert knowledge and care and caring demeanor. Fantastic experience: This office has ample comfortable seating at one side of the room and nice outside light, and the check-in counter opposite has very pleasant staff family to assist you. The office music is not boring or over the top, but pleasantly engaging. Everyone cared about my treatment and comfort level every step of my visit. Dr. Shayan couldn’t have been nicer. Fantastic experience: Long time patient of Omid shaman and cypress dental. Left to move to Vegas in 2019 and just returned to socal. Never had a dental problem in those vegas years because of Omid's brilliant work.....and there was much working on my teeth (I'm 81). Had my return visit yesterday which was, as usual, professionally perfect. Also, the dental hygienist is the best!!!
