1 month ago Fantastic experience: FANTASTIC DENTAL OFFICE!!! I avoided the dentist for 15 years from a really bad past experience and was really dreading this visit. Let me tell you everyone in this office are real professionals who obviously care about their patients. Everyone from the front desk ladies, to the assistants and the dentist himself did everything they could to make this visit as easy as it could be. They made sure I was comfortable before, during and after the procedures. They even kept checking in my wife in the waiting room to see if she needed anything. I don’t care if I lived 1000 miles away, this will be my dentist from now on!

This has consistently been my dental practice for over a year now, and my oral health is finally where it needs to be. 3 months ago Negative experience: They are trying to scam people. Unprofessionalism and lying. The dentist and billing lady were intentionally vague, and dismissive of my confusion. I was ignored and talked down to. They supposedly took repeated X-rays that were never explained to me, and my exam was never completed, despite the dentist saying he would return after the X-ray, he never did. I was not explained my treatment plan before the billing lady began to pressure me into paying upfront hundreds more dollars than what was originally quoted to me. When I said I was unprepared for that amount today, since I was quoted hundreds less when I initially called to make an appointment, she told me they don’t give quotes ahead of time. Despite them having given me a quote ahead of time. As I explained myself, and how the exam was incomplete she talked over me and became frustrated with me and asked whether or not I wanted to proceed and when I said no, she snatched the dental bib off my chest before tensely escorting me out. It was an act of intimidation and disrespect. They charged me $100 for unexplained X-rays and an incomplete exam. Nothing came of this appointment, besides frustration and confusion. I requested my records, which I still have yet to receive. When I called the billing department to dispute the exam charges due to unprofessionalism and incomplete services rendered, they claimed it was “all already explained and the exam was already completed” based off their own perspective of the recording from the exam room, and that I supposedly agreed to everything, which I did not. I did not agree to anything, I learned nothing from my supposed exam. Unless you want to be lied to, accused of lying, and charged for wasting your time, I’d avoid this dentist practice at all costs. I will be reporting to BBB and TSBDE. Whatever response of “taking accountability” or shifting blame comes to this review, as I’m witnessing with the others, I hope I can help someone read between the lines. It is a scam being run to prioritize profit over people, through and through. Good luck.

Dr. Dillon here. We hear you with your concerns and our goal is to definitely be one of the most transparent offices that we can. We show all x-rays, scans, pictures, and email treatment plans prior to starting any dental treatment. That doesn't mean that we're perfect though so we still appreciate your feedback regardless!
Unfortunately, we can't provide exact quotes over the phone as only a dentist is legally allowed to diagnose patients and provide treatment solutions. However a team member over the phone can sometimes provide a general range if a patient is asking about a cost for a specific treatment.
Although dental offices have 30 days to send requested records, we usually have them to patients or the requested business in 24-48 business hours. We appreciate your patience!

4 months ago Negative experience: Here’s a polished, elevated version that keeps your tone honest, fair, and credible: ⸻ I was extremely pleased with my initial experience at this office. The staff is welcoming, and the dentists are knowledgeable and professional, which made a strong first impression. However, my most recent visit significantly changed my perspective. There was a clear miscommunication regarding the amount of time required for my appointment. I was not informed that the procedure would take 3+ hours when I scheduled it. Had that expectation been clearly set, I would not have committed due to my work schedule. Because of this, I was willing to complete part of the treatment with hopes to reschedule the remaining on a different day. Despite my willingness to move forward with what time allowed, I was informed I would still be charged a $100 fee. When I attempted to discuss rescheduling for a day where I could fully commit the necessary time, the office was not receptive. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability and ownership of any miscommunication. It was conveyed that expectations had been clearly set, which was not my experience. It’s unfortunate, because the clinical team and environment are great. However, clear communication and a willingness to listen to patient feedback are just as important. Based on this experience, I’ve decided not to move forward with this office.

They told me I had to bring my own ASL interpreter, which shows a complete lack of understanding of accessibility laws. It’s disappointing to see a dental office in 2025 unwilling to accommodate a deaf client. They’ve lost a new patient because of this.
I’m sorry to hear that you felt we were rude — that was never our intention. At the time, we were informed that your insurance would be responsible for providing an ASL interpreter. After further clarification with our insurance department, we’ve now added the ability to schedule an interpreter through our office directly to avoid any future confusion.

I get anxiety going to the dentist from a previous experience at another dentist and they are great at explaining everything to you and making you feel calm. 1 year ago Negative experience: Honestly, I’m really disappointed with my experience at Enamel Dental (Manor/Parmer Park). The people at the office were nice, but the way the whole place is run just doesn’t make sense. I was in pain and needed a quick follow-up procedure that should’ve taken maybe 20 minutes. Instead, they told me I’d have to wait another week — and offered antibiotics as a temporary fix. What really threw me off was how they pushed for an extraction right after the exam, without giving me any time to think about it or ask questions. That’s not how you treat patients. There’s clearly no coordination between their locations, and getting an appointment when you actually need one feels impossible. I expected better. BIG UPDATE – ATTENTION: Be careful of unexpected bills from them. Not only did they fail to take care of me, but now, three months later, they’re sending me bills! They even said if I don’t pay, it will go to collections. Make sure to pay everything upfront before leaving and get a signed receipt! Honestly, it might be better not to go there at all.

It's Dr. Dillon here. I vividly remember our appointment together so I'm not completely sure where the disconnect is. I spend a ton of time with my patients educating them about options (approximately 30 minutes for focused exams and one hour for comprehensive exams), why dental disease occurs, and how to prevent reoccurrence. We even review all pictures, xrays, and scans with every single patient in detail, spending quite a bit of time answering questions so it's disappointing that you feel this way as this is the first time someone has expressed this particular concern to me.
Regarding treatment, I am also pretty confused. If a patient is in pain and I offer to work them into my schedule, I would think I would be helping them out. However, if they do not wish to proceed with the treatment needed to alleviate pain then that's totally ok. Offering antibiotics (if indicated) to control any potential infections while the patient decides seems to be a reasonable alternative solution in my head. We aren't very pushy with treatment, but if a patient wants pain relief, there aren't really any reliable options aside from the indicated treatment.
Extractions with local anesthesia are fairly straightforward to work into our existing schedule but if a patient needs/desires sedation options, we legally have to clear our portions of our schedule as I can not leave the operatory while a patient is in a sedated state. I reviewed all the correspondence between my team and you, and it seems we provided a variety of very accessible and timely options.
Lastly, each individual office is operated independently from each other so scheduling this procedure at another one of our offices can be challenging as I am the only full-time dentist within our company that does intravenous sedation and more complex surgical procedures.
I apologize that you feel this way, but in this particular case, I'm just not sure how we could have accommodated you any further. 1 year ago Positive experience: I have a molar that you put a filling in just a couple of weeks ago before the procedure there was a little pain when eating on that side but now I can't drink anything cold without unbearable pain. Should I have had a root canal or extraction instead.

Sometimes, when a cavity is deep or close to the nerve, the tooth can remain sensitive for a while—or, in some cases, the nerve may become inflamed and require additional treatment, such as a root canal.

1 year ago Negative experience: Adding response to Dr. Dillon to the top: TAKE REAL ACCOUNTABILITY. Like an aforementioned review it was an excess of scans and WAITING for machines to become available. Good, classic dentistry does not need 6 scans. The appointment was well over two hours before it got to my after hours cleaning. Multiple people are now reporting the same timing issue - so buy more machines or shorten the process. The cash grab is the cleaning and the additives you REQUIRE and don't give people options for. THERE WAS AN INSURANCE PRE-SERVICE INVESTIGATION ERROR BY YOUR ADMIN TEAM. I am not chasing you. You've read this review. You spent half a day after normal business hours blowing up my text messages (highly unprofessional) about it. Suddenly having an email now for billing is wild after receiving those texts. Casual texts should never be sent for billing by a real business. I've already reported your business to the proper authorities and reported any future charges from you as fraudulent to my bank and changed my accounts cause you've beyond lost any trust as a credible doctor's office. You need to retrain your employees on checking insurance prior to appointments. It is now 7/30 (filling was 7/10) I have scar tissue in my cheek and have now had to additionally schedule a dermatologist after a different second opinion because of the thickness my cheek still has and discoloration of blue. This is PAST TEMPORARY. I came in Monday 7/14 and you were pretty sure it would be gone by the end of that week... you all knew you scarred me and never thought to follow through and check on on the damage you made just send more bills. When I should be send you one at this point. I don't need you. I'm doubting I even needed this filling because there wasn't even an ounce of discomfort and now I can't even look in a mirror without makeup. Full original review My experience at Enamel Dentistry Manor was a complete disaster from start to finish. They told me my first appointment would take 90 minutes — I was stuck there for 3 hours. I came in expecting a routine cleaning (I had a clean bill of dental health from another provider just in April), but instead, they hit me with a "comprehensive treatment plan" that felt more like a cash grab than care. They assured me they had verified everything with my insurance and handed me a quote. Fast forward a month — suddenly I owe an extra $200. For what? A deep cleaning and a check-up that mysteriously totaled around $300, even though I explicitly told them I had just had a cleaning. They said it was fine. They lied. But the real kicker? During a separate cavity appointment, Dr. Dillon Patel literally burst a blood vessel in my cheek. The next day swollen and bruised, and 13 days later, my face is still swollen and discolored. I have to book another appointment elsewhere just to deal with the damage he caused. And after all that, they blew up my phone for an administrative error THEY made — while I’m still recovering from the trauma they inflicted on my face. This place is all about profit over patients. Incompetent, disorganized, and downright dangerous. Avoid Enamel Dentistry like your smile depends on it — because it just might.

Firstly, I apologize for your negative experience!
In dentistry, there are two main types of exams: comprehensive exams (used to establish routine care with a new provider) and limited exams (used if a patient comes in for a specific problem such as a broken tooth, etc). The timing of this may vary across offices, but we always schedule these for 90 minutes as to make sure that we don't rush the examination and give ample time for the patient to ask questions. If we were trying to make these profitable, we would shorten the time to 60 minutes or less so that we can fit more patients in. However, we strongly believe in an in depth examination and education for all our patients. I want patients to ask me questions as this is your body and I at the very least, want you to understand it so that you can make the best decisions for yourself. I understand that this style may not be a great fit for every one, but this is important to me whether a patient decides to proceed with any recommended treatment or not! If you wish to proceed with treatment same day, we are happy to do accommodate this but the appointment will likely run longer than the original 90 minute as we will be squeezing this in between other scheduled patients.
With regards to insurance, we verify all insurances provided are active prior to the time of examination. Insurances will typically provide us a "faxback" with a breakdown of the patient's benefits and any recently used benefits that we then upload into the patient's chart. If we do not receive a history that includes any type cleaning from the insurance, then dental offices would typically expect there to be the standard coverage applied as is the case nearly all of our patients. However, errors may occur on our end or the insurance end as well, so if you believe there is an error with billing or accuracy regarding insurance benefits, then definitely let us know at [email protected] and we do not mind looking into this further!
Sorry to hear that you experienced a bit of bruising after treatment! Anytime a patient receives an injection (whether in dentistry or in other aspects of medicine), there is always a risk of there being some bleeding and bruising temporarily in the area. This typically resolves on its own with time just like a normal bruise, but we are of course always available to help in any way that we can! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need us!

1 year ago Negative experience: I was excited to finally find a new dentist, being that my other dentist moved out of state. Unfortunately the visit took 2 hours , Majority of my time was spent taking lots of X-rays with 3 different machines. I spent more time with the dental hygienist, who didn’t even do any type of cleaning, which should have been done the visit but trying to convince me, I needed to get a deep cleaning. Front desk told me that since I needed a deep cleaning, they wouldn’t be able to provide a surface cleaning until deep cleaning was done. I was very disappointed in all the upselling and not really patient centered care. As someone who works in healthcare , the business is definitely putting $$ first and not the patients.

Yes our new patient exams are scheduled for 90 minutes and we are very up front about this. This gives us time to capture accurate records, go over all the records we take, educate the patient, and provide as detailed and accurate a plan as possible pulling any information from the patient's insurance. I understand that this may not be ideal for some patients, but we always inform patients of the approximate length of the appointment when scheduling.
X-rays are customized according to the existing oral conditions and not everyone will need the exact same x-rays. I'm more than happy to discuss why each is taken if you have concerns!
As with all types of medicine, the treatment administered to a patient must match the diagnosis. I can not alter the diagnosis to change the necessary treatment as this can be considered insurance fraud and create issues with my dental license. Although there are gray areas in medicine and dentistry, I stand by the diagnosis capabilities of myself and my hygienist. I can assure you we do not upsell treatment but it is our responsibility to go over all treatment options available to the patient as is required by the state dental board.

1 year ago Negative experience: When I first visited enamel dentistry I was excited to get back on track with my dental health, until I was put on a treatment plan that was seemingly not feasible financial wise. I had multiple distressing experiences at this dental office. The treatment plan felt more profit-driven than patient-focused, with constant payment requests and little concern for my comfort and well-being. They ignored my high blood pressure before a procedure (which the history of my blood pressure was stated in my new patient forms), which was both unsafe and irresponsible. I'm now dealing with more dental issues and anxiety. I hope this practice reconsiders how it treats patients, and hopefully learn from this experience.

Dr. Dillon here! I emailed you as I can't really talk about specifics over a review, but I do want to address a couple points.
I strongly feel my treatment plans are cost effective based on the patient's current and desired dental health. During comprehensive exams (new patient exams), we are required to discuss all of our dental findings with the patient. It can be considered negligence by the state board if we omit patient conditions that can be reasonably detected. If you or your current provider have concerns about one of my treatment plans, I am more than happy to discuss with either or both of y'all.
If there are concerns about finances, we offer plenty of financing options for patients. I understand that this may not always be inexpensive based on the treatment needs/goals. However, I can not adjust the cost of any procedures as we have legal contracted rates with each patient's insurance carrier. If we attempt to discount this, we risk being fined or dropped by the insurance.
If there is a balance on the account, you may receive an automated payment request until the balance is resolved. If you feel there is an error, please reach out to our team!
Patients with hypertension can be safely treated with modifications of local anesthetic. Generally speaking, many patients who come to the dental office may have some level of hypertension due to stress or anxiety regarding the procedure. If the procedure warrants, or the hypertension is outside of safe levels, we may need to reschedule and discuss options for sedation dentistry moving forward. However, this is at the provider and patient's discretion as there are no hard guidelines for this. We have never forced or pressured a patient into treatment. All patients sign an informed consent form prior to starting treatment.

The price for getting my wisdom tooth removed was a very reasonable. They also got other payment plans in place to accommodate you if needed. 1 year ago Negative experience: I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with Enamel Dental (Manor/Parmer Park) was extremely frustrating. While the staff at the clinic itself were polite and professional during my visit, the overall availability and coordination across their branches is unacceptable. I was in pain and needed to complete a procedure that should have taken no more than 20 minutes. Instead, I was told I’d have to wait another week and was offered antibiotics instead of real treatment. To make matters worse, I was caught off guard when they pushed to perform an extraction immediately after my consultation, without giving me time to process or discuss the situation properly. The lack of synchronization between locations and the poor scheduling options left me feeling unsupported and still in pain. Dental care shouldn’t be this disorganized.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Dillon since January when I had an emergency issue that resulted in a root canal. Over the past 4 months, I’ve worked through my treatment plan and couldn’t be happier with the results. My smile feels beautiful again and I’m endlessly grateful. The entire staff at Enamel is friendly, kind, and helpful. The ladies up front are a sweet breath of fresh air, always smiling and happy to answer questions or just chat. Dr. Dillon is very friendly, funny, and smart! He’ll happily explain things to you and walk you through your options. Jeff, who does cleanings, is good at explaining the what and the why, as well. I’ve never felt an ounce of judgement about the shape my teeth were in, which is important for me. Honestly, they’ve really helped with any fears that I had about going to the dentist. If my family weren’t moving, I’d continue to be their patient as long as they’re there. If you’re looking for considerate, compassionate folks whose office has the best vibe, Enamel is your place!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: First time visit today as we are new to this area. Best experience I’ve had with a dental provider in a very long time. Professional but personable. State of the art equipment and clinic. Staff was extremely motivated (but also seemed authentic - not “robotic” ) Business office was dikugent in tracking down my insurance, assistant knew his stuff and was very attentive and the dentist himself was stellar. I am normally a pretty anxious patient but this place made me feel like I was in the right hands from the get go.

They also work very hard to make sure their patients are comfortable during all procedures. The hygienist had great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable in the chair. Very light touch but thoroughly cleaned my teeth. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: Very quick check-in experience as a new patient. The office is lively with good music playing throughout, and the staff are all nice. Very modern office (handheld xray guns!?), and mounted ceiling tvs for watching Hulu while you’re getting your teeth cleaned. Only missing a goodie bag for the road! Is it weird to be excited for a filling?

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist sucks. But it sucks less with Dr Dillon. Once again had an emergency situation and had to get my tooth pulled asap. I haven’t been in so much pain in ages. Thankful they figured out a way to fit me in. Staff at all of the enamel offices are always so lovely.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Dillon Patel today as a new patient and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more thorough exam and visit. I’m an older patient at 60 and am delighted to be in his care. The staff there at Enamel Dentistry Manor were very kind. The office is nice and comfortable. It has a great vibe! I could not ask for more. 11/21 Update: I had a follow cleaning today and met Jeff the Hygienist who did a fantastic job! The nice assistant carefully and expertly did another 3D scan and Dr Dillon took the time to go over every detail and answer all of my questions. The front desk ladies were so kind and helpful as always. I’ll eventually remember everyone’s name. I love this place and will recommend it every chance I get. Thank you all!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved this place!! Was super nervous to try a new place and already anxious enough going to the dentist. The atmosphere and environment alone when you walk in is cozy and modern which eased my anxiety. The staff is very friendly! I felt very welcome by everybody and comfortable speaking about my concerns. Dillon is amazing. He gives a certain warmth that you are in good hands and took his time to thoroughly explain all my concerns!! Truly felt comfortable and am very excited to continue my dental journey here and also bring my family!! 5 stars and highly recommend!

Discussion about crevice measurements 1-6+, diagrams and graphics help me better appreciate the importance of better maintenance on my end. I like the different options the dentist offered and will be scheduling to get my teeth back in shape. I have been recommending Manor Enamal Dentist to my friends and family.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Such a welcoming staff at the front. It seemed like one new assistant was working with me, but the other staff was very supportive to help whenever she got stuck. I loved the transparency about billing before performing any additional procedures. The doctor was amazing! He was able to address my concerns, spot a potential problem, patient to fix it right away, and gentle with my cleaning. Lastly, the office had a cool vibe with art and amenities to offer me.
