Fantastic experience: We needed special consideration for my Mother who is 95 and has dementia. Dr. Marechek, our surgeon, was considerate, reassuring, and kind. Dr. Tran gave us a great recommendation and listened to our needs with care and insight. Bre, our Coordinator made us feel right at home and explained everything. Fantastic experience: Dr. Tran was the dentist responsible for my dental work Wed. Aug 8. I'm an 85-1/2 yr old woman (and heart patient). He is very kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. I had an adverse reaction to a particular numbing med and Dr. Tran immediately went into action and made sure everthing was under control! After ensuring that my vitals had returned to normal, he completed the procedure. His bedside manner is outstanding and I appreciate him. He also had great assistance in Ms. April. She was so very pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating! My experience from walking in and getting help and expert advice from front office Ms. Bre, until I walked out, my experience is that I would recommend Menifee Smiles to anyone who is looking for a dental office in Menifee. Although I was not in the office the same day to see Jessica, one of the dental hygenist at Menifee Smiles, however I want to add, She's the best!" She has been cleaning my teeth for over a decade! From the moment I walked through the door, the reception team greeted me with warm, welcoming smiles that instantly set a positive tone for my visit. The entire process was seamless, professional, and incredibly efficient. The clinical team started with a quick and comfortable set of X-rays, leading straight into a thorough consultation with my dentist. During the exam, the dentist identified that two of my very old crowns needed to be replaced. They explained everything clearly using the digital imaging, making me feel completely informed and at ease with the treatment plan. Next, I met with the financial coordinator, who was absolutely wonderful. They broke down the costs, navigated my insurance perfectly, and made the financial side of things completely transparent and stress-free. My appointment continued with a deep cleaning, which included an advanced decontamination and laser treatment. The hygienist was gentle yet meticulous, and my mouth has never felt fresher or cleaner. Finally, the dentist removed my old crowns, prepared the teeth for the new ones, and placed the temporary crowns. The entire procedure was entirely pain-free. The temporaries look and feel fantastic while my permanent crowns are being custom-crafted. If you are looking for a dental team that combines cutting-edge technology, expert clinical skills, and top-tier customer service, this is the place to go! Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in over 10 years due to very bad experiences at a different dental office but due to an infection I had to go back to the dentist. The dental assistant Robert is so nice and makes you feel comfortable, he lets you know everything will be ok. I can’t say enough about Dr. Mendoza, she is so patient and extremely caring about your fears and feelings. She does let you know what work needs to done but she says one step at a time. Any questions you have she will answer and doesn’t rush the appointment. Today I met with Bri to go over payments and insurance coverage and she didn’t push me to set up appointments if I knew I couldn’t pay for it. She said whatever I was comfortable with we will do. She also answered any questions I had and tried to give me a discount but sometimes the discounts are not enough at the moment. I really do recommend Menifee Smiles and make sure you ask for Dr. Mendoza and Robert!

Fantastic experience: This place is great. I broke my tooth in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I was in so much pain. My husband found this place for me. They did an amazing job on my tooth. She’s very nice and helped explain what is happening and let me use the app to read what she said because I am Deaf. I noticed she is new there and I’m impressed that she made me comfortable and less painful despite that I have issues in my gum. Overall, I enjoyed having her today.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience getting my cleaning done by Megan! I thought it was going to be painful given I haven’t had a cleaning in years, but I was falling asleep at times! Bre at the front desk also made the experience so easy.

Positive experience: Staff are awesome. The lead Assistant is a wizard at x-rays. Appointment ran 45 mins late for consult to start then there were huge (at times 30 mins) where sat waiting with nothing happening. Process for completing registration was not clear. Turns out it's a link in text that works but to register portal it's email? Suggest allowing 3 hrs or more which was not made clear on making the appointment of in any followup.

I came in with a lot of pain and honestly didn’t know what was going on, but they were incredibly thorough and took the time to check everything carefully. They explained what they were seeing, answered my questions, and made sure I understood the treatment. I never felt rushed or dismissed, which meant a lot in a stressful situation. After the treatment I’m already feeling much better. Everyone in the office was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. From the friendly and professional front desk staff, like Bri, to Dr. Tran, the entire experience has been exceptional. ​I used to have a significant fear of visiting the dentist, but since coming here, I have visited for treatments more times in the last five months than I had in the previous five years. The team always ensures I am comfortable by thoroughly explaining every part of the process. I would not hesitate to recommend your practice to my family and friends. Keep up the great work! Let me start by saying I would give Menifee Smiles Dentistry a 6 star if I could, it's mainly because of George. I had a tooth pulled yesterday by a very kind Man, Dr. Richard Tran, he is very soft spoken and understood my needs. A temporary bridge was made after my tooth was pulled. I noticed some imperfections on the bridge after the swelling on my gums receded. I called them the next day and the very friendly ladies at the front desk gave me an appointment the same day. Let's go back to George, I pointed out to him what I thought were some imperfections, he said "don't' worry, I got this", 25 minutes later, I was happy, smiling like a clown, George definitely knows what he is doing. I showed my wife my teeth, which by the way is also a client here, and she said to have them do a new molding and use the one after George fixed it, approval from me, approval from my wife. Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. Bre at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and got me signed in right away. Layana came out to take my X-rays, and she was laid-back, super friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. Then I met Annmarie, the dental hygienist, who was incredibly gentle but also very thorough. After that, I had my visit with Dr. Tran. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. I did end up needing some work done, and they were able to take care of it right then and there. Bre came back in to explain what needed to be done and walked me through the process, including setting up a payment plan. She was so helpful and made everything stress-free. My appointment ended up taking longer than expected, but Dr. Tran stayed after to make sure everything was done perfectly and that I was fully taken care of. That meant so much to me. Overall, I felt truly welcomed, cared for, and valued. Honestly, this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’m so thankful I found this office and am genuinely excited to continue coming here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tran is great! He's always given me sound advice and provided quality care. He is conservative in his approach, yet thorough in his care plan. I found him by chance and I'm very happy I did.

Fantastic experience: I recently just moved here and I like small business Dentist locations. That is what my old dentist recommended to find one that is small business. This place did not disappoint. They were thorough and efficient, I had no issues. Will come back again. Very knowledgeable as well.

Negative experience: Zero star. Upon my arrival at the office for a scheduled dental cleaning, I was immediately requested to provide a co-payment of $15 during the check-in process. I inquired about this charge with the front desk, as I have not previously been required to pay a co-payment for a dental cleaning. The initial explanation provided was for an X-ray. I informed the representative that X-rays are typically covered by my insurance. Subsequently, I learned that Dr. Mendoza requires an annual pre-screening for periodontal disease for all her patients. I felt this procedure was obligatory and that I was compelled to proceed. Following the X-ray, Dr. Mendoza personally conducted my periodontal screening, which involved an examination of my gums and an assessment of my oral cavity. During this assessment, she suggested a referral to an endodontist for a root canal, citing discomfort I had reported in my lower left partial. When I inquired about the cost, she indicated that it is variable and could exceed $1000. I communicated my financial constraints regarding the proposed treatment and indicated that I required additional time for consideration. Subsequently, the individual emphasized the necessity and mandatory nature of the treatment. I interpreted this as an attempt to coerce my agreement to the treatment, implying that refusal would preclude me from receiving a dental cleaning. I reluctantly conceded, and another staff member presented a quotation of $332 for the treatment. I expressed surprise at the cost and reiterated my request for time to deliberate, while consistently requesting the dental cleaning. Initially, they maintained their inability to proceed. However, upon my assertion of the right to refuse service, they offered a teeth polishing as an alternative. Upon my acceptance, I was informed that I would need to return at 3:30 PM due to the unavailability of a hygienist. This experience left me feeling distressed and frustrated, as it resulted in a significant expenditure of my time. I subsequently lodged a complaint with the manager but did not receive a follow-up. My primary objective remains to receive a dental cleaning, which I have not yet received. My initial experience was unsatisfactory. I perceived a strong implication that I was being coerced into accepting a recommended service, with the understanding that non-compliance would result in a refusal of service.

Fantastic experience: Went in for an emergency tooth extraction today and it went wayyyyyy better than what I expected. Dr. Tran is AMAZING!!!! He made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that everything would be just fine. He let me know everything he was doing. He let me ask questions and voice out my concerns. I felt very safe. His assistant Micaela was super sweet and helpful too. She did a fantastic job finishing up my procedure. The entire staff from checking in to checking out were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back to see Dr. Tran and his wonderful staff for dental services. Thank you for the phenomenal service!!!

Fantastic experience: Shot out to Menifee Smiles Dentistry for taking my husband in last minute and on Christmas Eve. My husband was in excruciating pain needed to have his tooth pulled and Dr Tran took care of him immediately Bre and the rest of the staff were very nice professional and helpful. The whole cost was gonna be $2900.00 and after insurance covered their share we were still left with $1900.00 but dr Tran was very nice and caring and brought it down to $700.00. Thanks again Menifee Smiles Dentistry for taking the time to help us on such short notice I recommend these guys any day If anyone has an emergency these guys will gladly take care of you!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a root canal retreat they are usually very painful. The two dentists that worked on the retreat were fast efficient and I was in no pain. Great service without the pain. I’m going to Menifee Smiles now for all my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tran has been my dentist for over a year and for every visit I am comfortable and relaxed. I have major dental anxiety but the team there really helps. Recently had a root canal done and it was my first one. I was talked through the whole process and it really helped me feel at ease. I also had to bring my 3 month old to a ln appointment and the whole team including the front staff stepped in when he got really cranky and helped calm him down so i could continue my treatment. Couldn’t ask for a better team.

All three of them are very willing to take the time to explain what they are doing. They answered any questions that I had.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Menifee Smiles now for about a year now since moving to the area and since we needed to change dentists once we changed to Medicare. We both have been very happy with Dr. Tran and our Hygienist Jessica. This last weekend I broke a crown and with their app it was so easy to make an emergency appointment for the coming Monday. The office staff and Dr. Trans assistant April have all been very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend their office.

Fantastic experience: Menifee Smiles is an amazing office that satisfies my dental needs. I live down in San Diego and make my way up for dental services on a consistent basis. They take my Blue Cross PPO dental insurance so I don't have to worry about not having dental with any out of network issues. My dentist, Dr Margarita Mendoza, is a very knowledgeable and caring dentist. She makes sure that I'm well of aware of any dental needs that I may have. She does not pressure me to have any services done and educates me regarding the services that I need to have taken care of. I highly recommend her as a dentist. I was also due for a cleaning and they were able to take me in the same day as my continuing care appointment. Jess was amazing and very thorough and gentle. I was still trying to find the right hygienist for me after Alicia left, but I was blown away by Jess and look forward to going with her. Overall, the great service environment from the entire staff is why I choose to keep coming back and making the drive up from San Diego to have my dentals needs done. I highly recommend them if you're local in the Menifee area or just looking for a great dental office.
